Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

One of my favorite Mexican places. Made to order (like Chipotle). My favorite menu item is the salad. Comes with chips, beans & meat. Yummy!! The staff is friendly too.

Better than roburittos . More authentic with more options for what's in your burrito.

Great little restaurant. Excellent fresh food. The menu is deceptively simple but very flexible. They offer chicken, beef, and pork five different ways as a salad, burrito, Chimichangas, Tacos or Quesadillas. Great lunch specials for $7.99. We will definitely go back. Staff is friendly and helpful, Food is delicious. Definitely better than Chipoltle.

Burritos and tacos, pretty standard offerings of beef, chicken and pork. Good ingredients, all quite flavorful. You walk up to counter and have your order custom built (similar to Chipotle). Two thumbs up on their salsa, quite fresh. Guacamole could have used a little pepper tho. Only other offering on menu was quesadillas which we didn't try. Good and filling for under 8$ w a drink. Another place I wish I could rate 3 and 1/2 stars, cause 4 seems a little high for such a simple place, but the freshness of the ingredients (at least in the summertime) rates it as well as the colorful ambience.

I get cravings for this food! The shredded pork burrito is unique and really flavorful. Choice of beans. Love the Mexican sodas! (No high fructose corn sryup!)

This place has great burritos. I have eaten at mexitaly, roburritos, and chipotle but none accomplish the flavors that azteca does. Their secret is all in their green tomatillo sauce. It's a shame that it doesn't come standard on their burritos because it is amazing and most people probably do not try it. For a great burrito try chicken with black beans, cheese, pico de guillo, green tomatillo sauce, and sour cream. Their guacamole is really good but the chips are bland, just need a little salt added. The place is clean and the owners are very friendly. I am surprised this place isn't busier.

Good fresh food, clean resturant, and priced right for the amount of food you get. Works great for grabbing a quick lunch to take back to the office.

This was OK. Better than average 'build a burrito', but nothing about it that stood out as unique or zesty. Their salsas were kind of boring too.

Good food. Clean restaurant. Fast food ambiance. Limited menu. Just like the other burrito places.(Chipotle, Qudoba)

Very stingy with the portions and not served hot enough. Watch your credit card charges. they charged my card twice for 2 diferint ammonts and I had only been their once...

The burrito was good, but the value was not. And the selection is slim for a "Mexican Grill." I was expecting much more and got much less.

I eat here several times a week and have never had a bad experience. The ingredients are always fresh and well seasoned. I used to go to East York for Chipotles but this is just as good IMO. It's not a fancy restaurant but the atmosphere ok, a little sterile if anything... I guess that's good for a restaurant. I usually go here for takeout anyway.
