Probably the best sushi within the Reading area.

The best sushi in the Reading area for sure! I realize those of you that haven't tried it are like sushi...Reading? Those those go together. I assure you they do. Love this place...great fish, great prices, great service.

I'm not going to say this place has bad food because they don't. Their food is great! Their rolls are expensive and they're small! I asked for spicy salmon and spicy tuna roll and they're not spicy! So I ask for spicy mayo for my rolls and he tells me it's an extra dollar. I asked for a spicy rolls and they don't make them spicy and want to charge a dollar for a little of spicy mayo. The waiters are weird and act like they're uncomfortable to wait on us. Not friendly at all they sigh and roll their eyes when I ask for extra anything so therefore I won't go there again. I rather drive to Zhuang's garden only 5 minutes from this place. The food is better then here!

This is my favorite Chinese food place in the area. Their hot and sour soup is the best, and they have sushi that is as fresh as you can get. Sometimes I think the service is a little slow, but the place was very crowded, so their kitchen was probably a little bit behind. I like it a lot. If you're in reading area looking for decent sushi, this is it.

Giving this 3 stars because this sushi was good and friendly but my main course, dragon Phoenix (gen chicken and spicy shrimp) was sub par not really good.

I absolutely love coming here. I normally come in on a Saturday before 3 for the lunch special. You can three rolls with a choice of soup OR salad for $11. Before you were able to get both ( the reason why I gave 4 out of 5 stars) Their menu has a lot of fresh and delicious options you can choose from. Today I went with two spicy salmon rolls, a sweet potato roll, miso soup, and a spring roll.

This establishment, in regards to sushi, barely meets sub par at best. My girlfriend and I got the shrimp and avocado roll, green Godzilla roll, and California roll, and they all basically looked and tasted exactly the same. Portions were small and poorly put together. The rolls were edible, but not enjoyable. I would give this place another try for their regular non sushi dishes, but I will continue to seek out the best place for sushi.

The bottom line is that if you're looking for hibachi, you can't go wrong with Tokyo Hibachi and Bar. It's a fun and entertaining meal out with pretty good food. Having said that, it's not the best hibachi restaurant I've been to and we definitely had some complaints with the food last time we were there. I've been to Tokyo Hibachi and Bar several times so when my parents were visiting from out of town, I decided to bring them there. We arrived around 7:45 p.m. on a Saturday. Initially I was concerned that there would be a wait, but there plenty of hibachi seats open. The hibachi dinner begins with a small salad with a ginger dressing. The dressing is tasty, but there's usually way too much of it in the bowl and the salad is comprised mostly of iceberg lettuce. The real show is, of course, the preparation of the entree. I ordered chicken and scallops, my mom ordered chicken and shrimp, and my stepdad ordered the filet mignon and shrimp. Every hibachi order included fried rice, two shrimp, and vegeatables. On our particular night, we had a different chef than I usually end up with, which might explain some of the disappointment with our food. While the chicken and shrimp were good, my scallops were overcooked. The chef also asked the people who ordered filet around the table how they wanted their steak. My stepdad and another gentlemen asked for medium rare while one asked for medium. They ended up with medium well and well done. Still, the show is entertaining and you end stuffed by the end of the night.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a taste for good sushi. I normally go around lunch time & get the 3 roll lunch special. I'm a fan of the sweet potato, tuna & salmon rolls. The lunch special includes miso soup as well as a salad & I absolutely love their salad dressing. Excellent for $10.

All things are relative and this place is relatively OK. For me it was better than a 2 star and pretty average. I ordered the Benito box with chicken katsu. The accompanying miso was good, the California roll OK and katsu , OK. There was a strange chilled bean sprout compartment in the box that seemed an after thought. Everything was edible but not too exciting. I guess that's what you get when you want sushi in Reading.

I went back today since I was craving hibachi. Last time I went, I got the food but they didn't do the show (where they cook it in front of you). Now they have a hibachi chef to put on the show we've all come to associate with the hibachi experience. The guy was quite skilled with his tricks, plus he had an awesome sense of humor. Even though I was flying solo for lunch, he didn't perform as if only one person were watching. He also got me to try the food toss trick. It took two attempts but I caught the broccoli in my mouth after he flipped it off his spatula, so yay me! He must have thought so too because he gave me a high five! The food and the chef get 5 stars, but my non-existent waiter was the reason for the 4 star review. He came to take my order and then disappeared for the rest of the time only resurfacing to get my check; the poor chef ended up getting my refills since my waiter was no where to be found. I challenge you all to go try hibachi and see for yourself!

Hands down best sushi and Japanese restaurant in the Reading area. I eat here at least once a week and the food is always consistently superb and authentic. The bar offers unique drinks and the bartender is super nice. The staff and waiters are always very kind and welcoming. This place obviously has great management. You cannot go wrong with any of the sushi rolls. I'd highly recommend Tokyo Hibachi to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and entertainment .

We love the sushi at this place!! Go there at least 2X/ month. My husband almost always gets the monster roll and it is delicious. I loved the spicy tuna salad. It has a wasabi aioli and julienned cucumbers with a seaweed salad. Other specialty rolls are good too.

Tokyo is one of my favorite places to get sushi in berks county. They have an extensive menu and I have been pleased with all of the things i've ordered. The service is usually pretty good too. The decor is nice and hard to believe that it used to be a Denny's.

I have noticed that Tokyo has been receiving poor reviews from out-of-towners. I think it is unfair to compare this place to the sushi restaurants you might find in NYC or Philly. Reviewers must take the location into consideration. This is the BEST sushi in the area -- far superior to Zhuang's, Panda and Go Fish!. Because of that, it certainly deserves more than two stars. Three stars? Perhaps, although I I think it deserves four, and trust me -- I can out-snob the snobbiest of the sushi crowd.

Because there isn't a lot of choice for good sushi in Wyo, this has become our go-to place for impromptu dinners with friends. We've always been able to get a table on short notice. We tend to order a bunch of special rolls and share. The sushi is pretty good, presentation is always nice. Servers are pleasant, service is fairly quick. You can always count on having one of those 10% coupons (off food only) so that helps. Ambiance could be better (more subdued lighting would be nice) but it's ok.

    (4)
  • Allison G.

It has affordable menu selections and plenty to choose from. Whether you want sushi or hibachi, you can get it there. The miso soup is a must. For the special rolls, the chefs add a little finesse and artistry to the presentation of dishes. The hibachi is fun with friends. The service is very quick and at times, it feels like you're being rushed. But definitely, good service.

And to think, this used to be a Denny's. Of all the Pan-Asian restaurants in the area, Tokyo Hibachi and Bar might have the best service. Each server juggles a playful attitude with keen attentiveness. I recently went out with a group to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had a party of seven, and at the time, it hadn't sunk in that gratuity was automatically added to the bill. Mind you, it was clearly marked on the check, but for some reason or another, it didn't register in my head. Anyways, I wrote in a tip of 20% on the TOTAL amount (that included the food, tax, AND automatic gratuity), so it was basically a 38% tip or so. When I got home and looked at the check more closely, I realized what I had done. Since it was no fault but my own, and since the service was great and we had a wonderful time, I thought, "What the hell... it was worth it." Fast forward a few weeks. I look at my credit card statement, and I notice the server did NOT charge me for the tip I wrote in. HOW HUMBLE IS THAT?! I wrote in a 20% tip on top of the built in grat, but the server probably figured I made a mistake and missed the automatic grat part (even though he CIRCLED it and made it quite obvious). *I* am actually the one most humbled from this whole experience. The server actually looked at the check that I signed, saw I wrote in an extra tip, and consciously made the decision NOT to accept it when he really had every right to. If I get that server again, I'm going to give him a fat tip. What a stand up guy.

Unfortunately, I had a not so great experience here yesterday. I ordered a California Roll, a Spicy Shrimp Roll, and a Futomaki Roll. I also had my friend's Miso Soup because she didn't like it. I am by no means a sushi connoisseur, but I've had better sushi elsewhere. The rolls fell apart, the rice was somewhat sloppy, and the avacado was mushy. These were not major concerns to me, however. The reason I feel the need to write a review (I never do) is because I became very sick last evening with all the symptoms of food poisoning. I'm no doctor so of course this was not diagnosed, but I had no other signs or symptoms that would point to something else. I had not eaten anything else prior to or after the sushi before getting sick. My friend felt fine - she had a Spicy Tuna Roll, a Fish Tempura Roll, a third roll that I'm not remembering (something with cucumber?), and the side salad. I wish I new what the exact cause was, but to play it safe, I will not be ordering sushi at this restaurant again.

Service here completely stinks. All the servers always have an attitude and always rush you. You never have a full drink. Food is mediocre and expensive. Not worth it at all.

  • Rob S.

Definitely recommend reservations if you want to sit at the hibachi. The food was great and my wife was raving about the entire experience. We also had the yakitori and that was delicious as well. The hibachi chef was very professional and tried to make it fun for everyone. We will definitely go back and probably take friends or family with us next time!

Not one of the best hibachi spots I've been to but it wasn't terrible. The one great thing was the quick service. In my opinion, the food could have been seasoned and cooked better, specifically the chicken and shrimp. The servers and cooks were very friendly and accommodating. I just happened to be in the area at the time so I decided to check it out. Perfect place for a large group.

My number one go-to sushi spot! They have amazing variety here for their special rolls, and the sushi is always fresh! It sounds weird but the Sexy Girl Roll, with strawberries and mango sauce, is absolutely delicious. Give it a try! I always bring first time sushi friends here. The hibachi here is also the best I've had, although I've only gone to a few restaurants for that. I love their miso soup, but the dressing for their salad has changed and I'm not a big fan. Definitely the best fried rice I've ever tried. The prices are a little high in some peoples opinions, but $16 is typical of special rolls in the area. Highly recommended!

I would give Tokyo a 3.5 out of 5 stars. Pretty consistent food and service. Usually pretty fresh and tasty. Lots of interesting specialty rolls. I enjoy the bonsai roll!

After wanting to try Tokyo Hibachi for quite some time, I really wasn't impressed with this place. Mind you, we didn't do hibachi. My date got sushi and was satisfied with that, but don't bother with the Chinese dishes. At $15, the beef and scallops weren't worth it. There were maybe five scallops, all watery tasting, and the beef was chewy. The service wasn't too good either. Our waiter "Moon" never came back to check on us until half way through, so I had to flag down the manager to ask for spicy mayo sauce for the sushi. When the check came, the waiter came back literally a minute later to start clearing tables and asked if the check was ready for him. No, it wasn't, I hadn't finished eating yet. So I quickly put my card in after he left and he came back soon after. I don't know if they have a problem with walkouts here, but they do the same annoying thing that Jumbo China Buffet does about wanting the check paid almost immediately after they bring it whether you're finished eating or not. When he brought the credit card slip back, no "thank you" or anything. Moon didn't say a word. Also, the roof was dripping and there was a bucket catching the water near the entrance and the glass front door was cracked. I'll be back only if it's to try the hibachi.

The signage and location aren't terribly inspiring, but here for work and a change of pace and something moderately healthy sounded good. Delightfully surprised when I got inside, it is spacious and we'll appointed with many wooden booths and tables. But enough about the looks, on to the food. The service was great, and not to make jokes, but where many Hibachi places have a truly Asian staff that can at times be hard to understand (and hard to understand your orders) there were no issues here. Ordered a Yuengling lager draft--tasted sour, perhaps dirty draft lines, but no issue sending back and requesting a bottle. Ordered the sashimi sampler appetizer, and the tuna, white fish, and especially salmon were all delightful...a good portion for the ~$8. I completed my meal with a salmon skin roll and an Alaska roll, and these were equally delightful. The sushi wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was darn good, and for the price and location, I couldn't ask for more. Didn't get the Hibachi, so I can't comment on that, but I would definitely come back.

Tokyo Denny's! Been here on several occasions and normally get sushi, which is pretty good in my opinion. Prices are slightly in the higher range, but they have a good selection. Went to a birthday dinner for hibachi that had a reservation, but had to stand around for 15-20 min, but the food was good.

This is one of my favorite spots in Reading for sushi. The flaming volcano, dancing dinosaur, and bonsai rolls are the best specialty rolls they have. When it comes to hibachi, they put on a nice show and are more than accommodating for how you want it prepared. The drinks there are marvelous too! I love the bartender, Dee, who always remembers you by name and can make you any drink just from telling her what you like.

I am reviewing this restaurant after dining here for close to 3 years . Where do I begin over 85x of dining here it has been a hit 100% of the time . Being a huge fan of sushi I have dined in many other sushi restaurants including out of state . There is just no comparison . This place is a gem . The sushi is fresh, the rolls are awesome , and the service is A+. I reccomend the volcano roll or sexy girl roll . I will be honest and say I was reading some of the very few negative reviews and cringed .Now anyone who complains about this place is not a hardcore sushi lover . If you love excellent quality fresh sushi and very extraordinary rolls than this is your spot . They turn sushi into art and its never the same experience twice . however every experience is unforgettable thanks to the quality of food.I could go on and on and oh wait ..I will I have time lol... Recently I tried the white tiger roll and my palate thanked me . Shrimp , mango and a very satisfying taste yummmmmy ! I also really love the teriyaki chicken and salmon . I do have one MAJOR complaint though . Please Deliver !!!! You would make all my dreams come true the day that happens . I seriously hopr you condsider it someday .Xx

I finally made my way to Tokyo Kabachi and I was very surprise to say the least. The service and the food was good, and most importantly it was clean. The waitress was very pleasant and she made sure to refill my beverage when it was almost empty. I have to say the service was better than I thought, I will definitely go back again.

Setting aside what i think of the food I have to say the service is not so good. Last time I was here the server brought my food and no utensils. Waiting about 10 minutes while she did everything else around me but see if I ok. I left

Sometimes it's hard to imagine that Tokyo Hibachi used to be a Denny's. These days it fills the role of a traditional Japanese hibachi style restaurant and sushi bar. I'm starting to get a little burned out on the hibachi restaurants, but they are still fun, especially if you have a group or kids with you. Where Tokyo Hibachi shines is in their sushi. Not world class, but plenty decent. In particular, the spider roll was dead on perfect. The rainbow roll was nice too. Worth a look. Four stars.

Great hibachi! The sushi was okay and we had to wait a while for our table to fill up before they started the hibachi. Overall though, I'd definitely return!

When faced with the question "Where to go for sushi in this area?" I usually pick this place for a casual but nice atmosphere with good service. I've only been here for lunch. This place is great for a quick lunch for $6.99! Miso soup, salad (with that awesome dressing), and two rolls (I usually pick sweet potato & california). Find me a better deal! I don't think the quality is the best in the world, but it's satisfactory. I've yet to do the hibachi thing at any restaurant...still debating whether or not that's my style. The specialty rolls seem fun here. However, at any sushi restaurant I typically steer clear unless something's really wowing me! What they do well: service, lunch specials, and tempura fried ice cream. I will keep coming back here when I'm in the area.

Tokyo has been such a great addition to the area by the mall. With Denny's and other restaurants coming through that spot, nothing could stick. However, Tokyo has managed to sustain business and a good one at that! I prefer to go for sushi, but my family loves the hibachi side which is always a blast. The show they put on is so entertaining and if you go during one of the specials like lunch, the prices are cheap! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and want to avoid chain restaurants.

  • Dan S.

The food here is excellent. The best sushi in the area. Lunch specials are very reasonable. Lunch service is a bit slow. You'll need to work close by and use your full lunch hour, but totally worth it.

The Hibachi Chefs are so talented and friendly there! I was very impressed with how friendly they were and their incredible knife skills! The Chicken and Shrimp dish is amazing, especially paired with Thorn Hill Wines, which they just started carrying. Would definitely recommend.

After shipping out for 3 months, my boyfriend met me in Philadelphia to go to a wedding in Wyomissing. We thought it would be fun to go to a hibachi as our first date since he left. We are used to a local hibachi in Maine where we are from and this unfortunately was sub par for us. At 9pm there were barely any people there on a Friday night. All the employees seemed like they wanted to just get out of there as soon as possible. We were sat at the only grill going with 3 teenage boys. The food was alright but definitely not a memorable experience.

  • Matthew J.

Good hibachi food. We don't like seafood so I cannot comment on the sushi. The chef was very good and tried to entertain even with just a party of 2. The reason it's not a perfect 5 star is because I have had better hibachi food.

  • Gkg G.

Poor customer service asked for a simple hibachi request ...the front hostess gave an attitude and when I told her there would be 10 min wait for another person she gave an attidtude and so did the other staff member ...tried to ask about veg options for hibachi totally ignored and said "I'm not sure" and walked away ..so we walked out if that's customer service before the meal not even worth my business

This was one of the worst dining experiences of my many years of dining out. The food was actually very good. The problem was there was a screaming 1 year old child 2 booths down from us who for 1 hour would not stop crying and screaming. I complained but nobody would do anything about it. It resonated thru the entire restaurant. I was stunned that no one from management walked over to the parents and said we have people paying to eat here and can you please either leave or please get your baby under control. I complained but the management would do nothing. I will never eat here again. Wasn't my business and dining experience important to them? Obviously not. Decent food but I am picky who I give my money to

Great food. Not a fan of the salad dressing. Priced right. Lots of food. Our hibachi chef was good. First hibachi restaraunt that I've ever gone to where they don't include ice cream for desert.

Visiting Reading, I was pretty shocked to see that the choices for sushi are slim to none. None of the choices had any good Yelp Reviews. So we decided on this place. Kind of scary as we walked in, the building is an old Denny's, LoL. Pretty average sushi, fresh and tasty.....So the nigiri ans sashimi was decently priced, but the special rolls were off the chart, like $14 - $20 bucks, can you say WTF? We ordered a couple out of curiosity, they are about the same as every other sushi joint in the world, except that every other place in the world charges $8 - $12 bucks. For the life of me I cannot figure it out..... The wait staff was extremely friendly and all smiles. But, she no speaky. She actually messed up our orders, twice.... No biggy as we were hungry!!!! Just sayin' Also, they have a full bar, the specialty mixed drinks were $8 - $10 range. Good luck and sorry you guys live in Reading if your a sushi lover!

  • Meredith J.

I have no idea why this place has so many stars on Yelp. Perhaps because the restaurant selection around Wyomissing is pretty terrible? (Especially on a Sunday night- EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED?!) This is just a run-of-the-mill Hibachi-style restaurant. I did not find the sushi to be the "BEST" as others have pointed out. It's just... AVERAGE. Everything about this place was AVERAGE. If you've ever eaten hibachi, you know what to expect. A waiter putting on a circus-like show and feeding you mediocre food. One odd thing, though, was that he tossed broccoli into our mouths, not shrimp like most hibachi restaurants do. Also, maybe I'm unexcited by this place because we had one of the most annoying girls sitting at our table. She just returned from living in Japan for three years and spoke about it the entire time- even though her friends seemed bored and uninterested. I must mention, though, that when I ordered the miso soup she said that it does not have seaweed in it in Japan. Of course we googled it and she was wrong. So annoying.

Tokyo Hibachi and Bar's parking is around the back, and once around back... the first thing you're greeted with is trash. Trash was strewn all over the parking lot where employees had been tossing boxes and other waste into the wind and rain. Not the kind of thing you want for a first impression. Photo of the trash: skydrive.live.com/redir.… Worse, two dumpsters are a short walk away, but they dumped all their trash out into the rain. Inside, the interior is actually quite nice. It's built in the former home of a Denny's, and it has a rich woody interior and is fairly well decorated. Not too bad, actually. We were promptly seated, but once we got our table, it took over 20 minutes before somebody came by to take our drink order. 20 minutes just to get in our drinks? Not good service. Worse, once we finally received our drinks (two Cokes) both were flat, no carbonation whatsoever. Disappointing. The food was... alright? Not great, not bad, just... excessively average. I had a "Seafood Pan Fried Noodle" dish and a "Dancing Dinosaur" roll. The roll itself wasn't too bad, but fairly expensive at $11. $11 is a bit expensive for "wasn't too bad". The pan fried noodle dish was extremely disappointing. When you order noodles... you expect to get a noodle dish. While the dish was actually tasty, there was almost NO noodles in the dish. Was rather misleading. My fiance got a "Green Godzilla" roll and Ngiri sushi. The Godzilla roll ($12) was strangely squishy, lacked any real flavor. The Ngiri wasn't too bad, actually. Problem is, the prices at Tokyo Hibachi are scaled up, and it's by no means cheap. While they have some affordable specials (basic rolls, 2 for $6) specialty rolls range from $10-12. And it's NOT high quality sushi. It's about average food all around at really high prices. I don't mind paying $12 for an amazing sushi roll, as sushi can be expensive. I do mind paying $12 for "excessively average". Like the Denny's that came before it, the value per dollar just wasn't there. Given the trash, poor service, quality of food... we won't be back.

The outside appearance was rather dull, but the inside was very well decorated and clean! The staff were very polite, and the hibachi-show was very enjoyable! I had the vegetable hibachi, which was a tad above average, and the vegetable sushi, which was very good! Lunch prices were reasonable. I'd recommend this place :)

My family and I love going here and sitting at the sushi bar. I adore the sushi chef's in their white attire and hats. Everyday they have special sushi rolls on the board. Del-icious! I always get either the Dancing Dinosour or Green Godzilla roll. My daughter loves the Sexy Girl roll and my husband loves the Spicy Yellowtail Roll. Make sure to order the pan fried dumplings and vegetable tempora. The prices are good but I usually try to use the local Clipper Magazine coupon to save a few bucks. We go here at least twice a month! They also have hibachi tables wich are fun for groups. I like to either sit at the sushi bar or grab a cozy both to sip on my Sakitini on a Friday night. I think that is what I might do tonight!

I have been here many times now, always for a Lotus Martini. My Friend and I love it so much she's even texted me a picture of it! haha The food has always been incidental! But never have we had a complaint. I usually get the spicy tuna roll but have witnessed many a hibachi show. Most recently tried the crab Rangoon, served in fried crispy wontons, I will def. order that again. The price is right, the drinks yum! My galfriend is usually the more adventuresome in her ordering then I am, but I don't think you will be disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised by this zen space crafted out of a former Denny's. Lots of wood, several relaxing dining rooms, and a small cool front bar has stricken any memory of Denny's from my mind -- and that diner was there for about 2 decades or more. We hid out here when the Super Bowl was on and had the place mostly to ourselves. Nicer than expected wine list, affordable prices, and a very beautiful and delicious avocado salad. This is reliable Japanese fare that I tend to forget about for no good reason, MUCH better than the declining Panda Heaven. Yes, there are hibachi tables too, though that is not my thing, too much food. Check out their amazing fish tanks. The front bar might make a nice girlfriends-night-out or chill-after-work spot, so how about some drink specials? It's lovely to see a chain morph into an independent restaurant, hurray! (Well, I have no evidence that this is a chain.) Another nice thing is that Tokyo is open on SUNDAY, which is not the case for most decent places. What's going on with this, Berks County? Don't leave us with only chains to pick from, on the weekend.

We went to a late dinner tonight. Good show and food. Hot and sour soup was warm not hot when served. We ordered lobster, scallops and steak. Everything cooked in front of us to perfection and very tasty. I ate 75% of my meal and my husband finished the rest. He said to rate his meal 5 stars except he doesn't like dressing on his salad which he didn't mention. First time we ate there and will definitely go back.

Went in there all by myself at 2:00 PM today, and the young guy who greeted me seated me promptly. About five minutes later, he seated a group of four in the adjoining booth, and proceeded to wait on them hand and foot, while I sat there listening to my stomach rumble. Finally, after my neighbors had received their drinks while I continued to sit and fume, I said to hell with it and left. I guess these people gauge the quality of service in direct proportion to the size of the anticipated tip. The place isn't getting my business any time again soon -- not that they seem to care. In addition, the accumulation of trash outside the back door REALLY is offensive.

Maybe they were having a bad night but there was not a single redeeming thing about our meal. 3 of 4 diners got wrong dishes and they were cold. Drinks and beer were warm. Not worth the effort nor the money.

Listen - as a NJ transplant - the place with the best places always less than 1 hour away, when you go to places in Reading, you have to understand what they are good at. The sushi here is ok - a 3 on scale with a Sushi place in NYC or Philly - but you are in Reading PA and paying about 1/2 of what you would there and you dont have the crowds to make it move.... What this place is good at is the Hibachi. They use good quality chicken, steak and shrimp - been to a very famous chain were the meat looks real iffy when it hits the grill - not here.... I would not wander off the menu - they just dont impress me.... but for a good hibachi shrimp meal with rice and veggies they hit the spot.

My wife and I love this restaurant and our kids like to go to the hibachi bar. If you go, they have good sushi and you should try their Treasure Island appetizer.

We really dig this place - Seriously, the missus and the 5 year old daughter and I go probably once a month. Really Good Sushi. The staff is always super friendly. We did the Hibachi once with a big party, and that is good stuff if you're into it.

Sub par sushi at not so cheap prices. The portions are small for what they charge. I had the 2 sushi rolls lunch special for $7.99. It included a cup of miso and a side salad. The pieces of sushi were bite size not even 1/2 a mouth full. Pathetic, $7.99 later, I am still hungry. The waitstaff needs a complete overhaul. All off them need to go. The females in particular look unhappy and have attitudes. One time they huffed and sighed as though I were an inconvenience. The only reason I come back is because there no other sushi places near my job.

Just got a take out order of a Sexy Girl roll. Here's how it is described on their menu: "Sexy Girl Scallop, crab stick, lobster meat mixed w. crunchy, masago asparagus tempura, top w. strawberry & mango sauce". There was nothing crunchy in there- everything was mush in the middle, and I cannot tell if I even got the scallop, crab stick, and lobster. Some pieces had no asparagus. The rolls fell apart. The sauce on top was contributing to the mush-factor. I paid 17.25 for this, and if it weren't for the fact that I was starving, I would have taken it back. The taste was ok at best. I won't get sushi here again!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
