Stopped in for lunch one day, hoping to grab a basic all-American burger. Never been to this place before, thought we might try it. Seated right away which is good. The waitress after being told that it was our first time there, rattled off a very perfunctory and somewhat hurried speech about how we can choose my own steak from the display case (this became a relevant part of our later concerns) and how they have their own butcher and seated me and my partner. The issue, and why we left without eating and why we will not be returning, came up when we ordered our hamburgers. We were then offered them to be cooked Medium-Well or Well-Done. Wow. Really? I have eaten at places all over the country and had literally 1000s of burgers in my life. Never gotten sick. Some places, especially diners and cheaper eateries prefer to cook to medium. Fine, but most sit-down restaurants are happy to cook a burger medium-rare. Or even rare! Juicy, tender, and still pink inside. Unfortunately, we immediately drew some conclusions from Texas Roadhouse's refusal to make it the way we like it, namely that the meat is suspect and needs to be cooked to death just to make sure. My hypothesis comes from the fact that they have pre-cut meat in a display case. If they are keeping the meat at the highest temperature they are allowed to, in order to facilitate grilling, and if they are then using the leftovers to make the next days burger meat, then yes, the meat would be suspect and it would be best to cook it to death. The only other theories I can come up with of why they have this policy is either they have very low quality meat or their lawyers live in absolute terror of a lawsuit. I asked the managers, and they wouldn't give me an answer, except to say "most restaurants have this policy". Actually, no, they don't. Not good ones. We immediately went to another restaurant nearby, and they had NO problem.

I could live on their rolls and cinnamon butter. Yummy. The rest of the menu is good, but on par with the typical steakhouse.

Note: our table was for eight. When we arrived and were being seated at our table, a kind fellow customer told us that the previous group had someone that was sick and expelled everywhere. One of our chairs was filthy; had a bunch of food on it. The table was not ready, yet. The waitress was prompt and very courteous in placing our orders. However the place was too crowded, I like elbow room in a restaurant and this place has none. You figure they could double the place in size and still do well in business, as you can tell from the constant hour waits. The food was OK. The Blosson Onion dishes has a good amount of oil left on the bottom of the plate, leaving the pieces very soggy. Also one onion still had some skin so the outer pieces were very chewy and not that good. My father had ordered sirloin tips and emphasized NO MUSHROOMs. What did he find on his plate? Mushrooms. However they were prompt in removing them. To summarize, the place was iffy. We might come again when it is not as busy, but it did not get my approval tonight.

Service was slow, steaks were undercooked. The forced uniqueness of the peanuts and choosing your steak were lame. It has to be the worst chain steak joint there is.

Okay...Here it goes! I am not a steak lover by any stretch of the imagination, so I certainly do not frequent the steakhouses in town. I only come here on the rare occasion that my hubby is off work and craving red meat. We ordered cheese fries. They came out hot and tasted great. Infact, we complimented them to our waitress, telling her that they were tastier than we remembered. The good mood ended there. My Mom's "well done" steak came out, literally bleeding on her plate. My husband's prime rib came to the table (after a fairly looong wait) feeling ICY to the touch. Not room temperature, not cool...ICY! (My son's kid's meal and my chicken dish were just...okay.) We asked the server to take them back to the kitchen, which she kindly did. A few minutes later, an older woman with bleach blonde hair came to the table. We nicely explained the problems we had and she IMMEDIATELY went into Defensive Code Red! She very nastily cut my mother off mid-sentence and dissapeared into the kitchen. When she returned with the plates, my husband noticed that they had now overcooked his prime rib. She tried defending the over-cooked meat by claiming that this restaurant's idea of "medium" looked "like that", pointing to the almost completely grey slab of fat on my husband's plate. Now I don't eat red meat, but even I know that it was NOT medium! My husband tried to explain that he had worked at a steakhouse in the past and that he was judging "medium" from his own kitchen experience. She then named the restaurant that my husband was talking about and very loudly said "Oh!!! The one that's closed now!!!" (as she laughed boisterously) Wow! How sensitive! Especially considering that lots of people my hubby knew lost their jobs when it did! I absolutely could not believe it! The great part about all of this is that when she finally left the table, the server told us she was THE OWNER!!!! I AM HORRIFIED RIGHT NOW! Our family has made the choice never to give that woman a cent of our money again. You be the judge. Our server was sweet and apologetic, but nothing could help at this point! I wish I could give it ZERO stars! If you are in the area and are hungry for steak, do yourself a favor---- Go to Outback!!!

We waited over 1.5 hours for our food and when it came out, everything was extremely cold. In addition, they undercooked my wife's steak and then burnt it when they tried to "fix" it.

We don't have this chain where we live, so we decided to stop in on a Saturday night when we were in the area. The waitstaff and hostess were very friendly. As first timers, they gave us a "welcome pack" (bag of peanuts and card for a free appetizer). We ordered the potato skins to start. They were good with bacon, although the cheese could have been melted better. I had the NY Strip and my wife had the Ribeye, for the price they were a very good value. The mixed drinks were good too. Overall, it was a very good experience. We'd visit this chain again.

Rubbish factory. Went on a Saturday night persuaded by my girlfriend and I took the bullet....Chain restaurant trying to be unique from the peanuts to the tag your own chewey steak. Packed with people like a cattle car...subpar service, instant potatoes, forgot my onions for my steak, forgot to bring us seconds of bread. It was like a bad assembly line trying to get people in and out with oddly people bellowing every where. My girlfriend did enjoy her pork chop.

Service slow, steaks tough, even "roadkill" was terrible like hockey pucks prime rib taste was good, but very chewy. Rolls salad peanuts and cactus blossom were good. Very disappointed. Took one hour to get dinner!

One of my favorite restaurants! Always great. I love the salmon. Go on a weeknight if you don't like waiting to be seated! They aren't open for lunch -wish they were!

We had visited the Arts Festival at Goggleworks. After we went to Texas Roadhouse. The food was good, the service good and the prices reasonable. I tried the pulled pork dinner meal. It was really good. I will be back for that along with their steaks and ribs. Prices for beer were a little higher than other areas, but not too bad.

This was once a restaurant we frequented on Wednesdays. The food is good, not fantastic. The atmosphere is loud. That said, they had a great deal on an 11 ounce sirloin, $9.99, their "Wild West Wednesday" special. The restaurant changed management and they did away with the deal though. Very disappointing. We haven't been back; there really isn't anything overly enticing about the restaurant or its menu. Outback is far better if you're going to shell out full price for a meal.

Perfect 8 oz. Sirloin. Perfect sweet potato. Perfect server and Diet Coke was perfect. Ordered steak rare and it was perfect. I am in town till Friday and will be back.

True to chain of restaurants, this Texas Roadhouse was just like the other's we've been to. Service was great, getting a table was an easy experience (and fast since we got there early). Now they take your cell phone number and sent you a text and a phone call when your table is ready! As always, the bread and the drinks were great and my meal was very tasty.

Chain restaurant. They overdid my steak a bit which defeats the point of going to a steakhouse though. Shrimp skewers were more delicious at other Texas Roadhouses. Their shrimp were limp and lackluster.

I was surprised to see the negative reviews here and noted that only four were reasonably current and all but one were penned by inexperienced Yelpers with small numbers of reviews and very limited Yelp profiles. That should tell you something about their credibility. I'm a road warrior and this is one of my "go-to" chains for a consistently good meal at a decent price. In the last year I've visited at least a dozen locations. This property was in line will all the others and performed very nicely. I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly and was served my first drink along with a menu quickly. A plate of those decadent hot rolls was out in a flash. I ordered a 12oz prime rib and my two sides were a salad and fresh veges. Everything came at the appropriate time and the correct temperatures. My beef was tender and delicious. My side of veges was crisp and not over cooked. I was in and out in about an hour. I enjoyed a solid meal with very good service. All of this was no surprise as I experience this level of satisfaction at every location. When compared to other chains, this was a 4 star experience.

Arrived with a party of two. Wait wasn't too long for a Sunday night. They txt your phone now instead of giving you the light up hockey pucks, that was unexpected and they didn't explain why so I'm glad we didn't give a fake number lol. They were out of rolls when our server walked us back to the table, she didn't even acknowledge we should have had them so we had to ask 20 minutes later after being seated. You know every time you go they ask you if you have been there before, we always say yes and I know we should get bread. Food was great, no complaints. I just wish we weren't stuck in the back corner against the wall next to three other full tables. Overall I'm sure we will be back someday, when Texas call our name.

We used to be regulars and the last time I was there we had terrible service. I got a gift certificate for Christmas and we went with my inlaws to try again....it was twice as bad. We got in and sat at a table at 5:00 pm there was people at the table behind us. They finished eating a new group came in sat down ordered ate, and left all before our main course arrived. Now we were a group of 5 not 15! Ridiculous! We ordered salads 20 min and nothing, our waitress came by and asked if my salad was out it wasn't so she brought it and walked away. Before we could mention my mother in law didn't get hers, that was another 5 min till she got hers. My father in law got mushrooms and onions on top of his steak, it was like 3/4 of a whole onion! So much you couldn't even see the beef! My mother in laws prime rib was nothing but a pile of fat, it wasn't even edible! So the waitress gets the manager and she comes by and says that the steak is unacceptable and now we've been there one hour and 45 minutes! We then get the check, the manager had the guts to take $10 off of our bill and then ask us if that was acceptable! I've never felt so insulted in my life! $10 didn't even cover the cost of the steak that wasn't eaten let alone the more than an hr wait! I have $50 left in gift certificates that I will be selling to get my money and go to hoss's steak house! hosss.com

First let me begin by saying that I don't like to complain, but.... Stopped for lunch yesterday, 3/30/14 around 1:00 pm. It was full and it took a few minutes for us to be seated, a party of four. Once we were seated it took almost an hour to be served our entrées. My chopped steak was more than the medium as ordered and SALTY as can be. The bottom side was black, but not burnt. Looked like the "chef" threw it onto the grille where some other salty mess was cooking. My wife's burger suffered the same fate. And when I say salty, I mean like an entire salt shaker was dumped on the grille. Pure rubbish. Both the kids ordered the kids rib meal. My daughter being picky said they were dry, then my son who'll eat just about anything without complaint chimed in on the dry ribs too. Whatever, let's just pay and get out. We where there for a fund raiser so we didn't want to complain, just pay and go. But to top things off a urinal in the men's room was overflowing and splashing everywhere AND no hot water in either the men's or women's restrooms. UGH! Where's the health department when you need them. Listen folks, Texas Roadhouse does not need your money or support. It's a corporate owned chain ("sheeple restaurant") that netted over $38 million in 2008 and can barely manage a decent lunch. Do yourselves a favor and find a good local restaurant to eat at and support.

A very long wait even though we called forty minutes earlier. When we got there they said that the computer was randomly dropping reservations. I don't believe it. It was too loud to enjoy the company of my dining companions. The floor under my table was so dirty that my white sneakers turned black! I ordered the grilled chicken breast with mixed vegetables and seasoned rice. The rice was too salty. It tasted like it had been soaked in soy sauce. My vegetables, which were broccoli and baby carrots, were ice cold! My rating of two stars is probably too generous.

The food and service were so good! I got the beef tips plate with a side of green beans. The green beans ARE TO DIE FOR! My boyfriend got the pulled pork dinner, which had quite a bit of fat...but was otherwise tasty. Our waitress was extremely polite! I highly recommend this location!

Haven't been here for 12 year's, thought that we try it again service has not changed!!!! Still slow!!!! Had to ask for plates, they ran out of sauce for the fried pickets. The best part is we have been here for an hour and people who just sat down have food already, the waitress even tried giving me someone else's food.

This is my favorite steakhouse. The steaks melt in your mouth. Delicious rolls, salads and sides. However, my caution is how they clean their tables. They really need to attend some safe serve classes. I won't post my standard comment..... Just DO NOT put the silverware on the table. I have complained about this practice and it doesn't improve. I go their cause I love the food. I'm torn and figured I will try to spread the news of the unsanitary table wiping and maybe it'll change!

5 stars especially compared to the other reviews. One of the better if not best steakhouses in the area. This is a chain, but one of the best values for good food at a very fair price. Good rolls, fast service, nice salads. I stick with ribs or a sirloin, broccoli and apples usually. Wednesdays are am excellent value for steak and beer.

One goes here for a quick steak on the road when dining alone or with friends. Would not take a customer here because it's too loud . Overall, my steak was good (8oz filet) and cooked the way I asked (MR). Not the best filet I've ever had, but it also did not cost $30 like other fine dining places. Service was good and attentive despite being the dinner rush. The place was packed and there are plenty of other places to eat in the area. Mistakes happen as the other reviewer noted. One has to expect that in chain restaurants when a lot of the staff is working their first restaurant gig... Lots of trainees running around tonight.
