Doesn't live up to other Ruby Tuesday locations. Service - impoverished. Normally we are greeted within 30 seconds, if not by a host, then by a server acknowledging that we are there, and that the host will be right there. Several people noticed us standing there for several minutes. None deigned to do anything about the lack of host. Seated in the bar area during a slow period in the middle of the afternoon. Not great, but okay. I guess this was so the bartender could serve us. I assume she was slow and needed something to keep her busy. She should stay behind the bar. She got our drinks, took our order, then completely neglected us. When we finally got another server's attention, we had waited over 20 minutes with no appetizer in sight. "Oh I'm so sorry, your server had forgotten to put in your appetizer, but your burgers are ready. Shall I bring them out and you can have your appetizer when it's ready?" No, I prefer my appetizer first. Please remake the burgers so that they are fresh. You'll see why I'm picky about this in a moment. To their credit they did this. Unfortunately it added at least half an hour to our stay. The food - meh. I like dining at Ruby Tuesday because I consistently enjoy fresh food prepared in a quality manner. Today's food didn't measure up. The Triple Prime Cheddar Burger is my favorite. Fresh, never frozen beef, aged cheddar, and fresh greens on a tasty bun make for a delicious experience. Add a side of sweet potato fries, you have one very happy man. Today's burger just didn't have the same fresh taste as it normally does. The sweet potato fries weren't quite done properly. The skill in the kitchen just wasn't quite there. Like they were following the recipe, but didn't know how to make it shine. Disappointing. On a side note, the Southwestern Spring Rolls have gone away. Terrible decision on corporate's part. Those rolls were the BEST part of the appetizer menu. Apparently they were replaced by an Asian inspired spring roll. We tried them. A touch on the greasy side, and completely devoid of flavor. The Thai style dipping sauce on the side is nice, sweet and peppery.

I'm not a big fan of chain food spots but the food here is good, reasonably priced, and the service is above average. The salad bar is clean and filled with good, fresh veggies. The best part about the place is that it's usually not nearly as busy as surrounding chains, which makes it a nice alternative to the long waits on traditionally busy days.

Normally, I think Ruby Tuesday is very consistent across the board...good food, good atmosphere, good service and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, this Ruby's didn't live up to those expectations on a brunch visit with my family. The service was completely lacking. No water, took forever for the OJ and coffee to come out and refills were almost non-existent. The place wasn't busy at all so I'm not sure what happened with the service. Well at least the atmosphere was consistent with other Ruby locations...

Outside of a diner, you just don't see salad bars anymore. Ruby Tuesday looks to carry on the tradition of what now seems to be a lost art. Really, though, salad bars in chain restaurants should be more common, no? Because right now, RuTu has a monopoly on them. They seem generally easy to establish - throw some plates out there, lettuce, a few fresh ingredients, an assortment of dressings - and boom, you're done. Charge $6 a head, and you're in business. Truth be told, I go to Ruby Tuesday solely for the salad bar. Sure, I might get a burger or another entree, but the main draw for me is that delicious creation of ham cubes, bacon bits, mushrooms, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, onion, cucumber, and ranch. Oh, and lettuce of course. Lettuce makes it a salad. So because I don't want to look like a freak, I throw in a few leaves of lettuce so I can still refer to it as a salad. But hey, I'm young(ish), and my metabolism is still (somewhat) high. And uh.. ok, fine, I'm getting old and fat. Leave me alone. Er, anyways, don't be dissuaded by the fact that this isn't a stand-alone RuTu. Just because it's attached to a mall doesn't' mean they left anything out. They still have the full menu, a full wrap-around bar, and a full salad bar. Come in and enjoy.

Stuck in Mall Hell, waiting for a car repair, we needed food. My spouse remembered that Ruby Tuesdays had a veggie burger, so we slipped in. No more veggie burger though. And the avocado quesadilla is gone too. But can you believe they have a *vegan spaghetti squash* with zucchini and a nice sweet tomato sauce on the menu? No restaurant I've ever been in has spaghetti squash. Not too many people even know what this is. I saw a little life coming back into my ever-skeptical husband's eyes. This would work for the gluten-free and lower carb crowd too. And there were edamame beans on the salad bar. From where is such exoticism coming??? The wine list wasn't half bad either, with stuff like Petite Syrah and Old Vine Zin -- and you can order your glass of wine in two sizes. I ordered the small, and she brought me the large. Oh well, thank you! Service was ultra perky all the way. We expected little and were cheered up on a bad day -- and the repair was less than $100, so it must have been good luck.

Never again! I used to got to this restaurant for a nice treat. The food has become so bad I just can't justify patronizing it anymore. We went there in Jan 2014 and I got the ribeye. I ordered it medium-well. It looked like it had been steamed. It was so unappetizing. A good ribeye is seared on the outside to seal in the juices- this one was so dry and tough I got tired of chewing it. On our most recent visit last week, I ordered the 1/2 rack of BBQ ribs. How do you mess that up? Try charring them until they're like tree bark. There was maybe 4 bites of edible meat. The sauce was delicious but the meat was non-existent- just short of coming from a crematorium. I didn't complain but for some reason one of the cooks came out of the kitchen, leaned against the wall across from our booth and glared at us for about 15 minutes. Somebody has a personal problem! They'll never have our business again. Save your appetite for a place that deserves it!

So Ruby Tuesdays, located at the Berkshire Mall, has been a top-tier destination for the lunch routine here at work for years. Today was another Ruby Tuesday-feeling day, so me and a coworker took a trip over. The restaurant itself is dimly lit and has two entrances; one from outside the mall, one from inside. Inside you'll find a plethora of booths. I think there's a tiny section of tables, and then the bar. We usually make our way to the bar, as there's usually no wait time. Today we had a new bartender and she was very good. A special shout-out to this unnamed lunctime hero. She was very attentive, keeping up with drinks and taking the order without hesitation. I had some special instructions for my meal which she remembered and executed flawlessly. She even had two rounds of those delicious chedder bay biscuits which we normally don't have offered to us. The prices are pretty standard. Meals usually between $8-12, with entrees exceeding the $12 mark. They have some vegetarian meals, but it's mostly a meat-joint. The salad bar isn't too large, but offers a good selection for the pricepoint. They also have some low calorie meals available. They are clearly marked and pretty tasty. Today I had the Hickory chicken with zucchini and salad bar. I was very thrilled with the service and the quality of the food. I absolutely would go back.

Generally speaking, I enjoy Ruby Tuesday. It's decent food at reasonable prices, plus I'm a big fan of the salad bar. My family probably eats here every other month. However, while visiting this particular location in early April 2011, I slipped and fell while holding my infant daughter. Luckily, she was not hurt and I only bruised my knee and my pride. The problem was that, upon reporting the slippery condition of the floor to the hostess, I was informed that it was a good thing the employees wear non-skid shoes! She showed absolutely no concern for the safety of me or my daughter, and instead blathered on about her own shoes. Luckily, another employee placed a "wet floor" cone over the location. I was disturbed by the hostess's attitude and contacted the corporate office via email a few days later to let them know what happened. I recieved a phone message asking for a call back. I did this and left a message, but I never heard from them. As a result, I'm very torn on whether I would visit the restaurant again.
