Liked nothing about this visit , food was terrible, server was the worst. Went to outback in Florida, everything was perfect

We came here specifically for the blooming onion and it came out very gross due to the rancid oil it was fried in. Things just went downhill from there. The full order of ribs is a joke and the medium well sirloin came out severely overdone and dry. Not to mention the steak came out with a huge vein of gristle. The size of the ribs was downright laughable, and they were fairly dry. When I tried the garlic mashed potatoes I ended up biting into a entire clove of garlic. After the manager was notified she un-empathetically came over and asked if I wanted another order. She did not offer to discount anything and very insincerely apologized. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Do not waste your time! I would also like to add this is my first negative review!! Please don't take my unkind words with a grain of salt!!

This place is the reason I don't go to high end steakhouses. What's the point? Outback (especially this location) has it all minus the fancy shmancy decor. I usually get the Outback Special steak or a Ribeye, medium well with a broccoli and sweet potato. Ninety percent of the time they get everything right and if they don't then the server and manager will profusely apologize and get you another side or a fresh steak cooked to your preference within minutes. They recently updated their menu and added "premium sides" such as Garlic Parmesan Fries and Outback Mac and Cheese which are both excellent choices IMO. If you're really hunger and don't think the entree will do justice then I would recommend the Shrimp On The Barbie - skewered shrimp, cooked on a wood fire grill and seasoned with Cajun salt and dollops of pesto butter. For dessert - the carrot cake and cheesecake are to die for! If you're like me then go for the cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Utterly amazing. I don't understand how this location in particular is getting less that four stars. Give them a second chance. You won't be disappointed.

I hate doing bad reviews but after reading what others wrote I felt an update was needed. Service is still very slow with no understanding of why. Server said awesome to every request and then disappeared. Took 3 request to get a drink refill. So it can't all be the kitchens fault. Our food was served in pieces over the course of 50 min and it was just appetizers soup and salad. I recommend a pass on this location

I hate doing bad reviews, but honestly... our visit left the wrong kind of impression. My boyfriend and I had eaten at Outback before, but went their recently and the food was NOT up to par. We ordered the Onion Petal appetizer (which is supposedly the smaller version of the Bloom'in Onion). We found out upon receiving our app that it was DEFINITELY the bottom of the fryer leftovers from the bigger app. There was fried calamari in our onion petals. Fried. Baby. Squid. Then we received our meals, and they were not flavorful whatsoever. That will be our last visit to Outback for a while. P.s. The table we sat at was caulked to the wall improperly, and seemed like it was going to fall off. Appearance needs to be updated.

We don't go often but were given a gift certificate. Busy Friday night. Server was not happy or even pretending to be. My salmon (which I asked be prepared well done) came out seared and totally raw. Dan's mahi mahi was dry and tough. His "steamed" veggies were raw. I had to send it back. The same piece of salmon came back with fresh veggies... Still raw. The supervisor asked if it was suitable. I showed it to her and asked if she would eat it. No reply, just looked at me. I just ordered a bowl of soup. Dan had finished eating already. Our bill for a ruined night out $31 (after the salmon came off) +tip for lousy service. What a waste of our time. For all the travel and eating on the road it takes a hometown chain to really make a mess out of a night out. We came to Willoughby's for recovery. Really disappointed.

I went with some family and friends on a Tuesday around 6pm. The server Sydney was awesome. She had everything right. She kept asking how was everything and if we needed anything. She always came back to us and made sure we where good or wanted anything. The food was great, a little spicy on the Mac and cheese and ribs but good. I don't eat spicy food though, to some one else I could be perfect. I had a great meal and great service here thanks to Sydney. When I return I will ask for her again.

My husband an I went to celebrate our anniversary we haven't been their in over 2 years.. What a mistake that was we called an had a reservation we still waited a half hour to be seated. When we were seated our waiter took our order an we waited an waited an waited some more. Almost a whole hour on top of it our food was horrible nothing was cooked right. Our steaks were dried out we asked for medium an got well well done we sent it back TWICE and still wasn't right we ended up leaving. I don't k ow what happened to this place but it took a turn for the worst very sad.

Looks like the sun has set on this once eatable chain . While I was never a huge fan it was a go too place on a national basis . Todays visit will be last to any Outback. Food quality is B- diner food on a good day. The service and follow up are awful . Outback always employed a young college age staff in the front of the house . The systems always guided this young inexperienced staff with solid oversight by management and once again a fall back onto the systems. All of that concept is lost. The Wyomissing Outback was clearly understaffed and it all starts here. The food coming out of the kitchen was being cooked by an amateur and up cooks and recooks were flying back to the kitchen, as a tired and insincere staff tried to get thru lunch service and by my account failed miserably. The baked potato i was served with my undercooked steak looked like it was sitting under the heat lamp at the expo station from the time my steak hit the grill. The expo or line cook also felt it a smart thing to top the potato with a scoop or butter and sour cream before putting it under the heat light. Amateur central and insulting to any paying customer. THE FINAL CURTAIN CALL HAS FALLEN ON THIS TIRED CHAIN.... AVOID THIS OUTBACK

I've been here before and experienced an ok experience but tonight was far from it. Drinks and appetizers came out ok, but main entrees were a disaster. I ordered a steak medium and it came out beyond well-done. I had a leather steak. My mother ordered the salmon and it was completely raw on the inside. I also had the bottomless shrimp and only got one order when I had ordered more. My father waited an extra 20 minutes just to get the order they had forgotten. I don't know what was up with them that night, but they were just all over the place. They thankfully took those meals off the bill and gave us a gift card without any problems. I think they knew their service was pretty bad that night. I'll still come back, and hopefully it'll be better next time.

Friendly. Our salads took 50 minutes on a dead night and they were bland with barely any toppings. Not worth $13. Our friends steaks were good.

We recently had dinner at Outback in Wyomissing to use a gift card we received. The service was great. We had a bloomin' onion and it was entirely too greasy! We both had Caesar salads that were swimming in too much dressing. Food preparers need to pay more attention to this detail. Our steaks were very good and done just the way we ordered them. We probably won't go back since there is so much competition in Wyomissing area.

Worst experience at a chain restaurant. 1st it took 15 minutes to order drinks. Then another 10 before they showed up. Soup came out with no spoons, waited 5 minutes for those. The 1" by 2" of mahi mahi was a brick. My sons steak was raw- he had cut two ends off to see how it was, they just put the pieces back on the grill and cooked them that way, until they made charcoal out of it. We won't be coming back

So we went for our annual celebration of Australia Day (their independence day..been celebrating since high school) for dinner. It wasn't overly crowded and we were seated right away. Our waitress came by promptly and took our drink order and was asked by my wife if they would honor a coupon dated for the next day..Australia Day free appetizer. She asked the manager and they would. Bonzer! We placed our order....and the wait began. It took over 30 minutes just to get my cup of soup...meanwhile the table across from us, who arrived 10 minutes AFTER us had their salads and appetizer quickly. I also noted the manager in a harried state, talking with a table of 10 about the wait and apologizing for their issues. Once the food did arrive it was okay, although my filet mignon seemed more like a cut of sirloin. I hope this was just a bad night, and having been in the restaurant business, I know that sometimes this happens. We will return but will be a tad more wary.

We have always been pleased at Outback. The food is always good and the price is right. In my opinion, they have the best hamburgers around. The prices are very good, at $9 for a freshly made, (not a frozen patty) and a generous helping of French fries. We will stop for burgers on week nights and spend less than $30. The Bloomin onion is fantastic, and but too much if we are alone. But if we are with another couple, it is a must have. The only problem I have with Outback is the wait on weekends, so we only go there on week days. I am not a big fan of the pseudo friendliness of the wait staff, they always slide into your booth or crouch down besides you as if they are life long friends. That is obviously the training, everyone on the wait staff can be seen doing it. Oh well, not a show stopper for me. The burgers are great. Four stars is my rating,

We got seated but never waited on. The staff has run amok. More interested in visiting and joking around than on waiting on customers.

Had dinner on a Saturday about a month ago. Walked in just before 5pm and were seated right away. I had Tilapia with lump crab and my wife had the grilled Mahi. Both meals were excellent and the service was fantastic. We also had the blooming onion and as usual it did not disappoint.

Had the 6 oz Outback special with the lobster tails! Great seasoning on everything. Baked sweet potato was perfect. Best news though, kookaburra wings are big again! Ceaser salad was as good as I remembered

Went on Saturday night and like always, 5 out of 6 meals were good - service was attentive - but of course the disaster....I ordered medium rare - and of course two in the party went well done - usually the warning light that some or all are getting an overcooked or cold steak (note to self - dont invite them again - only invite fellow medium rares unless we are going to a REAL steak house like Mortons where they ostrasize you for ordering well done)... they loved their well done steak as my replacement took about 10 minutes to get out - it puts a damper on the evening any time you have to return an item and by the time it gets corrected everyone else is watching you eat.... they should have caught this at the kitchen - it was quite a stretch from Medium Rare to the puck that originally showed up on my plate..... Manager came over and took the meal off the check before I could say a word.... but like I said... kind of stinks when everyone else is done eating and your taking your first bite.
