Colonial Pancake House makes a serious breakfast. I've eaten there about 5 times at this point and have yet to get anything other than breakfast. The CPH Plate is my favorite: 2 eggs, bacon, and 2 pancakes. It's a great deal at less than $4! Pancakes are quite dense, with the right amount of griddled crispy-ness, and are the size of the plate! They serve breakfast all day. Hours are Monday-Sunday 7 am-3 pm. *Heads up, according to a sign I saw at checkout: starting Tuesday, June 9th, 2015, they will no longer be accepting any credit cards. There will be an ATM on site*

Don't bother going for late lunch. They seemed unhappy to have a guest after the typical lunch rush hour. Served me old chopped up bacon in a BLT wrap.

Solid traditional American breakfast. I had blueberry pancakes topped with bananas, and a side of bacon. My companion had the "Carolina Omlette" which was a special. The pancakes were exactly as you would expect- no surprises. Pancakes and bacon were well executed. My companion enjoyed her omelet very much. The home fries were oddly greasy- like there was a puddle of grease in the bottom of the plate, and the onions and green peppers were barely cooked. Ambience is traditional family restaurant of older vintage. Service was efficient. Prices were fair. Expect a crowd after church on Sunday.

Average place. Very small and crowded. Food was fair. Decor is tired and old. They only make food their way, so burgers are always cooked to well done. No substitutions. Fries had an old oil flavor. My companion ordered breakfast that he said tasted stale. Service was quick once we ordered. The noisy pie case really doesn't need to be there. It's mostly empty.

Small, family-owned pancake house. Great food, fast and friendly service. Veggie skillet is a fav, but wish they used fresh instead of canned mushrooms!

Came here after camping for the weekend at frances slocum, and it was exactly what I wanted. Straight up good, affordable diner food with great service. Our server (I think her name was Christine) was super attentive and friendly. I got the creamed chip beef skillet and it was awesome- friends got an omelette and a Reuben which were both really good. If I lived in the area I would definitely be back, great spot!

Great pancakes and decent bacon. It gets pretty packed and sweltering in there, though. Coffee was a bit bitter.

Rating them as a diner - not expecting a fine dining experience. It was ok. Decent value, acceptable service, food was ok. Just about what one would expect from a local diner. FYI - They serve Pepsi, NOT Coke. :(
