Good Chinese food overall and very inexpensive! A great option for take out. By the way, I ordered house special fried rice and shrimp with broccoli and they were both tasty and well cooked.

Honestly i have had way better food than this. Their general tso chicken was disgusting. The chicken tasted like it was spoiled and been sitting there for a few days. The service was slow and the driver was a bit unfriendly when he called me. He was yelling and trying to tell me to come down and make a quarter of a mile trip to the other side of the building which he could drive to. The person on the phone was not helpful when i just asked what kind of rice the chicken cane with she was sighing and probably rolling their eyes. Further more i will not order here if i were you

I just moved nearby and had to check this place out since I pass it on the way to and from work. The bathroom was very clean which was a good sign. I ordered the beef lo mein and chicken with brocolli. Both were not greasy and had yummy flavor. On another day, I ordered general tso's chicken with hot and sour soup which also was pretty good. It isn't as high quality as some of the places in Chinatown but it definitely meets my standards for a local takeout place. Check it out! The woman read more who took my order speaks great English. 2/3/14 update I ordered the sesame chicken lunch special with hot and sour soup which was very tasty. The next day I returned for the 3rd time in a week to celebrate Chinese New Year and ordered beef lo mein, shrimp ho fun, chicken and brocolli, sesame chicken, and hot and sour soup. All of these dishes were delish. We also ordered scallion pancake which I did not like.

We recently moved to the area and stumbled upon China House while picking up my dry cleaning. I placed a pick-up order for the chicken with eggplant and general tso's chicken. 20 minutes later, both dishes were extremely fresh, hot and tasty. I always get the homemade hot mustard from Chinese restaurants I try and China House has one of the best!

Fast delivery on a snowy Sunday night. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful order-taker. Excellent spring roll and general Tso's Chicken. Even the substituted vegetable fried rice was delightful.

Although we have been satisfied with previous orders of mei fun and general tso's chicken, the recent order of beef, "chicken" and shrimp was a mystery dish - the chicken was total fat and rubber - not sure if it actually came from a fowl- gives us pause to wonder what the other food ingredients really were -will not order from this establishment any more - still looking for a satisfactory chinese takeout - any recommendations?

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
