I don't live in Willow Grove, but we had some out of town friends visiting their family and Willow Grove was about equidistant to both of us. So I poked around Yelp for a decent place for brunch and was lucky to happen upon the Terminal Restaurant. The food is inexpensive and cooked right, the service is fast and friendly. Nothing fancy. The coffee was fine, which is better than you can usually say at diners. A lot of places don't change out the pot of coffee often, or don't clean their machines thoroughly. And the waitress left a carafe at the table, which I like! I had a really tasty omelet. Brunch for four came to about $35 after tax, more than reasonable.

The remodeled Terminal Restaurant has been cleaned up! The greasy menus and tables have been banished. Unfortunately the two horseshoe-shaped counters (so delightfully retro) also have departed.. What stayed are the warm and efficient waitresses who call patrons "hon" and the decent cheap eats. The Terminal appears to be quite the hangout for locals, and one cannot help but smile at the beautiful diversity of the patrons, spanning all socio-economic strata. Left to my own devices, I would award three stars but Mr. M would give it five. Compromising at 4. The breakfast fare (all we have had there) is solid. The menu is bereft of the clever or cutesy: If well-made omelet and eggs over easy are your thing, then the Terminal is your kind of place. One deficit is that they serve "grocery store" instead of deli rye, which improves only marginally when toasted.

I have to admit, when my son suggested having Sunday breakfast at The Terminal Restaurant, I was not thrilled. I have driven by the place numerous times on my way to The Willow Grove Mall. From the outside, there is nothing attractive about the restaurant, which is why I have been reluctant to try it. Well, I tried it this morning and was pleasantly surprised ! The food and service were both excellent, and the restaurant was very clean and comfortable inside! Oh, I and don't want to forget to mention that the prices were VERY reasonable! I will defiantly be back and will make sure to suggest it to others !!

When something is this good, you have to tell people about it. We have driven by the Terminal Restaurant so many times, and so many people have told us it's good... We went here for a Saturday morning breakfast, and it was that good. Great service, fresh-hot food, friendly people. Jessica was our server and took great care of us. Very much the local's favorite that it appears to be. We'll be back again.

Great old school breakfast. My IHOP-loving sons were skeptical but won over by the massive egg sandwich on a hoagie roll with potatoes, bacon and cheese, and the pancake/egg combo breakfast. Well-cooked bacon and what seemed to be locally made breakfast sausage rather than boxed Bob Evans like many places.

Tiny home town spot that serves up olde school breakfast. Big plates of inexpensive food. These little diners are super. Try the grits.

The best breakfast joint in the area. Their home fries with onions are definitely better than Daddypops! With dozens of visits including many with a family of 6 we have tried everything on the breakfast menu - and it is all great. My personal favorite is the special (2 eggs, home fries, a meat, toast & juice) - I get mine over easy with scrapple with onions in my home fries w/white or rye toast and OJ). Good portions, Great food at a fair price...and great service as well.

To keep this short and sweet, this place is disgusting! Dirty floor, tables, glasses, and silverware. I'd hate to see what the kitchen looks like. Against my better judgment I decided to give this place another shot. Went with a group of 5. It wasn't busy at all but out breakfast took 30 minutes to come out. Everything was beyond greasy, toast and eggs were burnt. We wound up not eating any of the food. We had clean silverware at least but the place overall is still dirty looking. Judge for yourself but this was my experience. Drive 5 mins down the road and go to West Ave or Kitchen Bar.

I really really didn't want to do this but it is necessary for people to know about this place. I have been coming here for a couple years consistently. Born and raised in Willow Grove I didn't hear about this place up until I started coming here. The food is awesome! I won't take that from them! The staff for the most part are cool. But here's the issue that will not have me go back there ever! So my fiancée and I go almost every Saturday. It's A CASH only business. Fine. Every time we r in there there is Atleast 5 or more customers that are new customers that are unaware of the cash only part. So they attempt to use the ATM ...no money. Ok so they have to walk across the street or drive to a ATM. DID WE EAT ANYWHERE ELSE? No. So why should anyone have to leave to pay for their food??? So last Saturday we went and we didn't have enough cash. Yes we knew that there would be a 100% chance of the ATM having no money..but hey..we took a chance. So we told the OWNER (a Russian prick..I might add) and his exact words were "yeah and? Theres no money..what do you want me to do?" Oh really? Ok...so my fiancée gets up ready to charge him but I told her to leave and I would handle his ass. I said it's not what u say it's how u say things. I'm a frequent customer...u just don't treat people like that. Period. How do u run a CASH only business but NEVER have any cash in the ATM ??? He never apologized he kept mumbling to his punk ass self and then stormed out like a three yr old having a temper tamp. Like really!!! Please please save yourself the headache and don't even entertain this place. They have definitely lost TWO LOYAL customers. Sad sad sad.

This restaurant should come up as #1 for best breakfast. I returned with my picky teenage son today, after having been away for two years. Tasted exactly like I remember.... Amazing. I had my old favorite, French Toast and sausage. I treated myself to fresh whipped butter too. I will probably have to walk five miles tonight to burn off breakfast, but man, was it worth it. Sausage is so fresh and wonderful. My picky son had eggs over easy, bacon and home fries. With two coffees, bill was $16 including tax. Money well spent. Son loved everything and asked when we could return. Waitress was lovely, welcoming, and even the owner, Chris and his talented cook waived enthusiastically at me when I entered; even after a two year break, they recognized me. What a nice feeling. I wish we lived closer. My mother-in-law loves their creamed chip beef. Can't wait to bring her back. Just learned they are open on Sundays for breakfast til 2 p.m. and serve Eggs Benedict. I can feel my dress size going up...help! Run, do not walk to the Terminal Restaurant, and then go running afterwards! See you soon Chris and all the wonderful people there! Annie & Alexander

This place is great for breakfast. We found this place when we first moved to Willow Grove and love it. Always a great spot to fill up before heading over to the mall.

Went here a few weeks ago on a Sat morning w/ a bud.....he was bragging about the bacon......see my review of Daddy-Pops in Hatboro........this place has the best...& I mean BEST....bacon I have ever had in any restaurant...EVER. I know that's a bold statement, but go there.......then tell me I'm wrong. Thick cut, not greasy, not burned....& I ordered my eggs over medium, which most places get wrong....perfectly cooked, home fries w/ green peppers & onions were very damn good also....& they bring a pot of coffee to the table....& we all know I HATE waiting for my java. Only downside is this place is TINY...so you betta get here early.

They have great breakfast items and I love their home fries. Sometimes my eggs over easy are cooked over hard. The waitresses have a hard time with special orders so make sure they understand what they want. They get slammed on the weekends, because when the food is good, it's great. Fair prices.

Excellent little old fashioned luncheonette. Home cooking, just like in Moms Kitchen. Breakfast is a delight here. Like stepping back in time. Great prices and everyone knows each other here..

Nothing fancy, just a good old fashioned breakfast. I come in once a week and grab an omelet with toast and grits and leave happy for not too much dough. Service is always fast and friendly.
