I like the idea of better ingredients and meat. Most places buy ingredients as cheap as possible, and don't care where it comes from. Their burger and fries are good! And not that much more expensive than anywhere else. $12/13 for a burger, fries and drink.

Great tasting burgers. You stand to order but they bring it out to you. Sitting at a hightop table seems to make sense for elevation Burger. Fries taste pretty good but many look burned and dont stay hot long. Only nit is that the milkshake mixing machine makes the most annoying noises and I'm sitting in the far corner still hearing it. At least it is Blue Bunny and made to order, since ingredients matter

Went here with my parents and boyfriend. We all got burgers with various toppings, plus some fries and shakes. The fries are (olive) oily but so tasty and the shakes tasted very fresh. We will definitely be going back here.

Totally not impressed with this place.. It was super expensive and although everything is boasting a higher quality than your average fast food burger place .. It doesn't taste much different. Hubs and I each had a burger - single patty for me, double for him, fries and a bottled soda .. Totaling about $27. We felt completely robbed and I felt really bad for having him take me there. (I'm pregnant and he pretty much agrees to whatever I want to eat to avoid unleashing the beast) hah! I could only see this place being appealing to you if you were a complete health nut that watched everything that you consumed and decided maybe once every six months that you were going to splurge and have a burger and fries .. But didn't want to pollute the sacred temple that is your body with mainstream food ..If that's not you then go ahead and save yourself a TON of money and eat whatever garbage you usually eat.

This is the older, more sensible sibling to five guys. While the burger was great, I was unhappy with the fact that they only have cheddar cheese and it's not included with the burger. As MOST people get cheese on the burger, at .50 a slice, this place is getting a little over. Like five guys, the elevation burger has two patties, while the kids has one. So that cheese isn't included, and you get two slices because the burger is two patties, you get the point. The prices are high but that's normal for any type of organic, natural food.

On a whim we decided to try Elevation Burger. It did not disappoint. Really similar to Five Guys in terms of having a simple menu and boasting fresh ingredients and free-range organic beef (I don't know if Five Guys boasts the latter), but everything was a touch better than Five Guys - less greasy, more flavorful, more "homemade" tasting. They also have an extensive selection of sides and milkshakes and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It also appears they host family nights and other fun activities which is great to know for the future! We will be back!

I have been here several times over the past couple of years and am always pleased. Today I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food and cleanliness of the restaurant. The food was thrown together, the pride that was displayed during prior visits was not there today. There were napkins and French fries at various places on the floor, some of the tables were dirty and the women's bathroom was not clean. in the past there was always someone walking around cleaning tables and making sure everything was tidy. We were there for approx 30-35 minutes...not once did I see someone walk around and the dirt on those tables were there when we walked in. I am hoping this was just a bad day, I will visit one more time in hopes that my next visit will show the Elevation Burger that I remembered.

Loving the skinny frys, flavor of the beef was great, bun was soft and fresh with flavor. Right is right and that's what this place is!

I stopped in after I picked up a few items from the food store. They opened at 11am, so it was perfect timing. As I got out of my vehicle and walked up to the store I was immediately greeted and the door was held for me. I ordered a veggie #1, got a root beer float and a banana. As I finished ordering the root bee float was started and the burger was done. My cashier met me at my seat. It was delicious. The banana was a perfect snack for my son and I. I would definitely recommend: a must try. My only frown would be the 3-5 huge pieces of ice in the ice cream but it was easy to toss and enjoyed the rest of drink.

I'm a fan of Elevation Burger and I tried the Willow Grove location for lunch recently. It's a tasty burger and it's nice to know it's organic and grass fed. I'm not going to fool myself into thinking it's healthy, but it's good nonetheless. I like being able to pick exactly what comes on the burger.

  • P M W.

Okay, the fries that are fried in olive oil are delicious. The root beer was delicious. The blt sandwich was just okay. The burger was horrible. Two flat dry patties. Seriously horrible. Couldn't choke-down more than three bites. And expensive. But of course organic hockey pucks should cost more than regular hockey pucks. I would go back for the fries and pop, but not for a meal. The employees were very nice, too.

Good ol greasy burgers... They're awesome! But be sure to limit your intake if you don't want to have a heart attack. I seriously say heart attack in the nicest way possible... Sometimes you just need a great greasy totally bad for you burger! Add on some fries and a milkshake and you'll be ready for the defibrillator with a smile on your face! Get the double. Get cheese. Get fried onions. Get bacon. Fries. Milkshake. If you're gonna be bad, do it right!

The service was good but the burger was mediocre at best. The beef was very dry even though I had ketchup and it seemed as if the beef was made with scraps of ground beef.

Let me rant about people for a second, not this burger joint. It's just what was afraid of: The First thing,,,,,absolutely the First Fu@king thing I read on here was organic (I'm with it), Grass Fed (I like it) and healthy..........AHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAH. These burgers are as healthy as my ultra light cigarettes and my friend Bob D's. liver (see his reviews). By the way look up some facts about the guidelines and definitions of certified organic and grass fed if you feeling too happy at the moment or just hate your own optimistic naivety. The documentary 'In organic we trust' is a good start. THE REVIEW ACTUALLY STARTS HERE: I like this place. If you don't get killed in the busy strip mall parking lot it's worth the trip. Burgers are subjective like pizza, everyone likes it a differently prepared. That being said I still can't agree with folks that knock the 'greasiness' or whom didn't like the fries..... Fresh Cut properly cooked fries from a good quality tater....Whats not to like? They're really good without being floured or double fried. It's a good burger, yes it has lots of fat and therefore 'grease'. I would call it heavenly fatty goodness. Grease is a shitty movie. All the 'its too greasy' people would also be the first to bitch if it was dry in anyway. The Roll: A four of five. It's very good. Any smaller and it wouldn't be. I had the cheddar, onion, shroom burger. One patty, any more should be considered some slow sick type of suicide). My wife always gets the kids burger since she's tiny and eats like a bird. I wish we could give and take half stars. I'd like to give 3.5 stars since the young lady at check out stuck her dirty cash register finger in the top of my cup to had it to me. Rule #1? Grass fed Chili dogs someday? Paul K....I think you meant GRASS FED not grain fed. This place is great, too bad it has too be in such a stuffy area to survive.

Went here for lunch the other day. I ordered the Elevation Burger protein style. The burger was good and I thought it was reasonably priced. Others have complained about the upcharges for some add-ons. But I usually end up not ordering those items, so my price was fair. The burger was greasy, but I like it that way. It was very well wrapped in lettuce and it was tasty. The service was also prompt and friendly. Overall, it was a solid burger. Would I go out of my way to eat a burger here? Probably not, but if someone wanted to eat here, I would go.

  • Cris Z.

Average at best. Greasy burgers lacking of taste, which is pretty awesome considering they are dripping wet. The whole grass fed concept seems more like a advertising gimmick than anything else. Fries are lousy at best, rivaling only with McDonald's after they sat all day under the food warmer. Missing Jake Wayback Burgers, at least the meat tasted like meat and the greasiness had a purpose.

  • Gavin S.

What I liked: natural ingredients - two slices of aged cheddar - hot pepper relish - caramelized onions - potato roll option - good variety of milkshake flavors. What was so-so: good fries, but not anything so special to me - elevation sauce was a bit of a runny mess - milkshake flavors very subtle (I got black cherry, but it was hard to tell). Overall, plenty to like - good burgers - but I was at Shake Shack recently and liked it better. I wouldn't hesitate to return though.

OK, so the reason this place gets a low rating is simple... VALUE! I went in and ordered only a burger. Let me say that again... ONLY A BURGER. No fries, no drink. Just a burger with 2 paid toppings, 2 complimentary toppings. Bacon and cheese were upcharge items, ketchup and grilled onions were free. Total cost for this... $9.50. For $9.50, this was the most unimpressive burger I've eaten for a nearly $10 price tag. At 5 Guys, I'd get fries and a drink with that for right around the same price...and honestly, the burgers at 5 Guys are a substantially better product. The burger was not a bad burger...just ENTIRELY too expensive for such a weak delivery. The next time I spend that kind of dough on a burger, it'll be at a place that uses local beef or at the new Red Robin. Also, for the same money, do yourself a favor and drive the extra 5 minutes and go to Grub Burger.

Delicious! Elevation burger is the burger industry's Chipolte. It's the only way to describe it. Everything is organic, the beef is grass fed. They have veggie AND vegan burgers. If you're looking for a low carb option, you can get a potato roll or your burger wrapped in lettuce. There is a plethora of toppings as well as delicious sauces and cheddar cheese to add. The shoestring fries are cooked in olive oil (oh, have I mentioned that I'm an olive oil addict??????? These fries were made for me!). They also have milkshakes. Delicious, delicious milkshakes. They're made with Blue Bunny ice cream AND they can be malted. Be hungry when you come here. We don't go too often as we need to watch the waistline, but whenever we're looking for a guilt-free, juicy burger, we come here.

Huge fan of their burgers and fries. I am definitely a huge fan of the fries here over anywhere else. The food is never disappointing.

  • mike v.

This place is really good and they use nice quality meat...I just wish they would MELT the cheese! It's a real turn-off to get a nice hot burger with thick, cold, completely unmelted slices of cheese. It didn't used to be that way but now it's 100% of the time. They use really nice cheddar too, so they should really get the melt right!! That's burger 101.

Love me some organic beef. Not literally, I wish it were still alive, but since it isn't, I'm satisfied knowing it lived happily and ate all the grass his little heart desired. So that's why I supports chains like Elevation. Because they're changing the industry. And that's cool to me. So I get that this comes with a price tag. But at least make it good! The produce takes like mcdonalds and the meal itself is small. I always leave there hungry. They have vegan and vegetarian patties -again which I love - but they're not very good. The shakes are alright as they fasts ok fashioned, and the fries are really good but it's hard to give everything an overall 5. I would definitely recommend others to check it out, but it's just not my cup of tea.

I went to Elevation Burger once when it first opened and didn't like it; now, I can't even remember why. Were the fries soggy? Maybe. Anyway, I tried it again after Great Burger closed, and now I really am a fan. I've been back frequently enough to earn my free Gardenburger. Yes folks, I'm 98% certain that the Veggie #1 is a Gardenburger patty. The Original Gardenburger may have fallen out of the rotation at home in the light of Gardein and other frozen meatless discs, but it sure is tasty at Elevation Burger. I like the toppings (especially the cheddar -- no cheese choice, but it's a good cheese) and the way the wax paper holds everything together between the buns. The fries, which I think were my original disappointment, are delicious. One order gives me more than I want for myself, but not quite enough to share and be satisfied, so I get to feel like I'm exercising portion control when I split an order. These are thin shoestrings, and some are soft and others are crisp. Plus, they're not stingy with the ketchup.

I went in with fairly high expectations as I read from other Yelpers that this burger joint helped them in kicking the In-N-Out cravings. I had just moved to Philadelphia after living in LA for 13 years and I had the serious case of wanting a good Double Double Animal Style with light well fries and not being close to an In-N-Out (not by about 3,000 miles) I was told about Elevation Burger. I walked in with high hopes. Grass fed beef and on the not-too-greasy-side burger, I was looking forward to a delightful treat. And man, was I wrong. The burger was just ok. The beef, though "healthier" definitely tasted healthier in a bad way. It didn't taste like a real burger. I've had healthier burgers that still had all of the flavors and tastes to a traditional, grease monster. The fries were also just ok. Service was decent and after you order, you go and find yourself a seat. They'll walk your order to you which is nice for a fast food restaurant. And the interior was clean and modern. Felt very open with the large windows and high ceilings and plenty of lighting. I would've rated the food around 3/5 stars but the price is what really kills me. I ordered the Elevation Burger with fries (no drink) and with tax, it came out just over $10. And that wasn't including their add-on items for the burger (organic bacon +$1.50/per slice, aged cheese +$0.75/per slice, etc). And the burger wasn't large enough either. I wasn't starving so not to be even satisfied on the burger says a lot. And yes, I'm comparing this place to other burger joints and In-N-Out but I could've easily gotten a Double Double Animal Style, light well fries, and a drink for under $6. And I could barely finish that meal. What a disappointment. If they lower the price to around $6 then I would consider it a decent burger but at the current price, along with the taste and size, I don't think it's worth it. I'm going to keep looking for a burger place to settle down to. I do have a burger list but none of the Philly burger joints have made it on it so far. Parking: Large lot Price: $10+ Wait: 10 mins after ordering

An very good burger almost on par with 5 Guys. Perhaps a tad on the dry side but that's grain-fed beef for ya and I accept the trade-off as grain-fed is better for the environment and your health.

My wife wanted fast food to avoid cooking on a hot day and I wanted to commemorate the first day of my summer vacation. Elevation Burger met both of our needs on this scorching June 21. I had the vegetarian burger #2 which is vegan. I had lettuce, tomatoes and caramelized onions. I avoided the ketchup as I like to control my ketchup portion. The burger was not out-of-this-world but it was pretty darn good. The caramelized onions gave enough moisture that the ketchup was not missed. My wife shared her order of fries. They do not skimp on the fries. A single serving is plenty. The fries are really good, some of the best in this area. Very thin cut and apparently cooked in olive oil. Any time I need fast food in the Willow Grove area, the vegan burger at Elevation Burger will be high on my list of options.

First off, one reviewer gave these guys 1 star because he indicated that they are positioning themselves as healthy food. I am sitting in the restaurant as I type this, and looked at all of their signage, and nowhere do they claim to be healthy food. That dude is on crack. What they DO do is list calorie counts, hich helps you to make choices. And they have oranges and bananas, which provides nice alternatives to fries. Veggie burgers are on the menu l, and u have the option of having your burger on a lettuce wrap, versus a roll. Nice to have healthiet options if u want them! Came here on a Saturday while running errands with the kids. They wanted McDonald's. no way, I said. Found this place instead. $18 got us a big order of fries, a kids burger, a grilled cheese, two bananas, and a couple of small drinks. Oh yeah -- a big-ass cookie. Kids gobbled up everything. Wouldn't even share with me. I was able to score a few bits of everything. Really tasty and flavorful grub. None of us really vibe on the cookie however. Kinda dry yet doughy and bland. Was expecting something a bit more decadent for the 380 calories. Folks working here were pilot and nice.

My girlfriend and I went here for a quick lunch while my car was being worked on at a local car tuning shop around the corner and had a great experience. First off, we were fortunate enough to arrive at a time that it wasn't crowded and had no line so we were able to quickly order our food. We both had The Elevation Burger with 6-month-aged cheddar cheese, organic bacon, and caramelized onions. We also had fresh fries. Everything we ate here was very good and we would highly recommend their burgers to anyone looking for a quality cheeseburger.

  • Meryl G.

I really like this place. The burgers are organic and very tasty. Their fries are to die for, very thin, and I order them crispy. They don't have them sitting around and only make up a batch of the size you order, so they're very fresh and they give you a large portion. Everything is cooked to order. It's like a fast food place, although a bit nicer with really good food.

OVERALL: It's an alleged healthy alternative to Nifty Fifty's, Five Guys, etc. Price for a my meal was about $10-15$ Wouldn't go out of my way to hit it up but if I'm driving by I'd grad a bite. Hit up Elevation Burger in Willow Grove on a Saturday around lunch time. The place had a decent size crowd. Facility was clean. Staff was courteous and prompt. I got the kid's burger, fries, soda, and milkshake. The fries were shoestring cooked in olive oil with a nice crisp on them. The burger was cooked through. Had an OK taste. The gimmick here is "organic" food so the burger apparently wasn't hit up with all the normal junk (salt, preservatives, etc.) that your average place would have. The bun was soft and could handle several toppings. The milkshake was thick and tasty. Soda was normal fountain stuff.

Went there for the first and only time this week. I am looking for a good burger place in the burbs, and I'm still looking. This place is just not worth it. I ordered their burger, fries and a couple of bottled sodas. For a burger place you can only get it cooked to one temp, well done. One piece of bacon cut in half on the bottom. Also two slices of crap cheese. Over cooked dried out crap. The fries had no flavor at all. Hey how bout a little salt. The big thing that stunned me was the price. $17 for this meal. Are you kidding me. That ONE slice of bacon was $1.50. Don't waste your time you can get an equally bad burger for half the price at any fast food place. This place made me happy to live in the city where we have a number of good burger joints

  • Zach V.

You can just taste the difference in the meat at this great little burger joint. They only use 100% grass feed free range beef. Elevation's burgers resemble a smaller healthier version of 5 guys. They cut their fries in house and cook them in olive oil. I usually don't get a milkshake with my burgers but I did try on here. It was average at best. You can't beat the $5 price for a double cheeseburger. I really love the simplicity and dedication to organic ingredients at this place. I highly recommend that you stop in and give it a try.

The Californian in me has been longing for an In-N-Out to come to the East Coast for quite some time now; however, I believe that desire had diminished. It's like In-N-Out, but better! The burger is juicy, the bun has a light crispiness to it and above all, the beef is of high quality. Humanely raised, organic meat has been a passion of mine for a few years now and I'm relieved to have found a fast food restaurant geared towards those principles. The fries are good too! Not the best I've ever had, but pretty good and the portion size is plentiful. I highly recommend a chocolate Oreo milkshake with this meal - they are amazingly delish! I look forward to my torrid love affair with those wonderful burgers in the coming years. ;) My personal favorite: the Elevation burger with cheese, bacon (organic, also), lettuce, ketchup, and hot pepper relish. Nom nom!

I stopped into Elevation Burger for lunch today for the first time and thought it was okay to the point where I might go back another time but not so great that I would crave it. That's why I only gave Elevation a three and not a four. I had no problem with the restaurant overall at all. I ordered the Veggie Burger #1, which may have been the first issue given that it's a meat-oriented place. I didn't have an issue with the veggie burger itself -- it was good and the toppings were correct as well -- it just wasn't the best veggie burger ever. I had caramelized onions, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese. If I went back again I would spend a little more time looking at the menu. I think the burger needed some sort of sauce and because I felt a little rushed when it came time to order I didn't realize that until it was too late. I may also try a regular meat burger next time to see if that does some more sock rocking than the veggie burger did. The tables were clean and there was plenty of space to eat. I was there around 12:15 and the place was pretty busy. My order came out quickly and was delivered to my table (they ask for your name and then call your name when it's ready). One of the workers also came by and asked if everything was okay once I started eating -- a nice touch. The bathrooms were clean -- always a plus in my book! I did try to log on to wireless when I was there and was not able to do so. They have a network call Elevation-Guest (or something like that) but it seemed to require a password that I didn't have. I could have inquired about it, but for the five minutes it took me to eat my burger, it didn't seem worth it.

I was in a veggie burger mood, however, the veggie burger options in the burbs are surprisingly sparse. I ended up trying elevation burger for the first time yesterday, and I ordered the vegan burger which is listed as veggie burger #2 on the menu. Overall, the burger was pretty tasteless; perhaps some of their elevation sauce would have helped, but I don't think the sauce was vegan. I opted for ketchup, lettuce, tomato and pickles instead. I think the veggie patty was mostly potatoes and some other vegetables. The olive oil french fries were pretty good. Service was fairly speedy, but I probably won't be back for another bland burger any time soon.

Stopped in on a recommendation. The kids cheeseburger (one patty) was plenty and we split the fries. Don't skip getting the fries! Delicious (maybe a little too salty for some but that's how I like 'em) meal but be warned you'll leave smelling like hamburgers/cooking food.

Best grass-fed burger joint around! Wish they had one closer to home. As good as 5 guys and I don't have to worry about eating gross factory farmed beef.

After attending the Yelp Elite event at SmashBurger and listening to some fellow Yelpers speak so highly of Elevation I decided to give it a try. I know that some people say that they really like the fact that they do grass fed beef here and that is admirable but I tend to like grain fed better and I realize that it might be worse for you health wise but I mean come on we are at a burger place here. I ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon and a ton of other stuff on it and it was good but I felt that the burger was overly greasy and the meat itself didn't really have too much flavor. I think that I will go back again and order a couple more patties on my next burger (via the Veritgo Burger) just to make sure this is the case. The fries were good but they were really thin and stringy and I love to dip my fries in ketchup so it took me forever to get through them, I realize that this is nitpicky but it just my personal opinion. I think this place might be a step below BurgerFi for me and at least 4-5 steps below Shake Shack but they do have serviceable burgers and fries and I will go back to give it another try soon.

The reviewer who called this place 'Healthy' 5 Guys hit the nail on the head. And Elevation does one better than the Guys by adding *amazing* milkshakes. Elevation has very good free-range, grass-fed beef burgers that don't leave me feeling bloated and disgusting twenty minutes after eating. (FYI - the "kids" burger includes one patty, the "Elevation burger" has two.) They offer a wide assortment of free toppings so go wild; I loved being able to get fresh chopped jalapenos on my burger. Next time I'll be giving the balsamic mustard and carmelized onions a go. The olive-oil based french fries are delicious, just be sure to eat them while they are hot. And if you're going to go at all, you must- must- try the chocolate milkshake. Seriously I would drive here just for the milk shake alone. (They also have a cane-sugar based root beer with no HFCS that is really tasty).

Why the heck haven't I reviewed this location (I check-in here all the time) or the one in Wynnewood (the very first EB I ever visited)?! Anyway, my son was just listing what he thinks my fave fast food places are and EB was #1. So in honor of becoming the duchess of EB the other day (don't judge me) I decided to do a review. This is actually the perfect time for me to review EB since I just had In N Out a few weeks ago. I don't know, I guess I've been secretly comparing In N Out to EB in my head all along but on a recent trip to the Midwest, I finally got to taste the burgers I've been romanticizing about again (probably because they're not served on the East coast). The verdict is that although In N Out still beats EB on burger flavor, EB has better fries, toppings quality, and hands down better shakes. My usual order: a kid's patty with cheese and pickles (even the pickles are elevated). Try the Oreo Shake; In N Out doesn't even come close.

For a place that says the ingredients are everything, I say that taste is necessary too. I visited the Elevation burger in Willow Grove for the first time today. It is a stark barebones establishment, with a counter and about ten tables, and an additional three tables outdoors. I ordered the standard elevation burger, which is two patties, with cheddar cheese. i added ketchup, pickles and hot relish. The beef surprisingly was lacking in flavor, though the cheese was quite good. The sandwich was overwhelmed with the heat of the hot relish, though it almost had no flavor other than the spice. The bun might as well have been a sponge as it added nothing in the texture or taste. So for 7 dollars, I would expect better flavor, and more choices for toppings. Yet another chain along with five guys, shake shack and the like that promises more than it can deliver. I will be back, but only to try the coffee ice cream shake.

This is one of the best burgers I have eaten! My husband and I eat here a few times per month and we are always pleased. 100% organic grass-fed beef with great topping choices. Their fries are fresh cut and so tasty! We have not eaten a fast-food burger since finding Elevation. Prices are reasonable for the healthy alternative and service is always fantastic!

This was my first time visiting any Elevation Burger establishment, and it will definitely not be the last. I had a burger and fries, and they were absolutely, mouth-wateringly delicious. They tasted so nice and fresh, and they didn't have that processed taste that you encounter in fast-food places. The burger and fries both beat out Five Guys, which was my go-to place for that kind of food until now. The service at this particular location was good. They bring your food out to you after you order it at the counter. I assume that's how they all work. I definitely recommend going to this place!!

I love this place!!!! The veggie burger is outstanding! Possibly the best I've had! Anyone I've eaten with loves the meat burgers too! The fries are yummy, but huge, so you can share! Try it!!

It was a nice surprise to find a place that makes a grass-fed beef burger. What a difference. The fries need work, but the chocolate shakes are awesome. I given EB two thumbs up

Elevation Burger is tasty and better all around than basic fast food joints. It has wonderful shakes and juicy burgers and thin, fresh, handmade fries. But there's also that higher price tag that makes it difficult to justify going when I could go to a restaurant and probably leave with leftovers. I go here once in a while when I feel that craving for McD's. I'd say it's worth trying.

I'm always down to go and try a new burger joint, and I'm happy I tried this one. I can't say enough about how good this is. The burger meat tasted amazing, and you can really taste the difference between every other burger patty and THESE. WOW. My wife and I were just looking at each other like, WOW - how good is this! Organic beef (grass-fed) just tastes better. We'll be back soon I'm sure. Highly recommend this to everyone!

This place is one of the best burger places out there (Bobby's Burger Palace is still #1 in my eyes) but this place easily beats out 5 guys, Jake's Wayback burgers, and a variety of others. All of the meat comes from grassfed cows, the fries are fired in olive oil and are fresh, and the assortment of veggie burger combinations is sure to stir things up with "healthy fast-food". I tried the Elevation Burger (2 beef patties w/ cheese) and added lettuce, tomato, pickles, elevation sauce, and ketchup. It was incredible, the grease was very minimal, the meat was well-cooked and juicy, and the portion was more than enough. Also the pickles and cheese gave the whole thing an added tastiness. I also tried the fries and they were the same as the burger, minimal grease and tasted amazing. Next time I check this place out I'm going to try one of their many Milkshakes they offer; that may kick this place up to a 5-star rating.

My daughter's and I love the burgers and fries here. They get the single burgers and I get a single in a lettuce wrap with fried onions and jalapenos. All of the beef is fresh ground and organic. The fries (cooked in olive oil) are delicious - and they don't skimp on anything. The place can get a little noisy when crowded but we keep coming back for more. I really like to outside seating whether the weather is nice.

Stopped at Elevation Burger to grab a quick dinner on my way home the other night. The other reviewers seem to be calling it a "Healthy 5 Guys" which is probably true. However what makes a burger and fries so good is usually the unhealthy part. The burger was a good size and flavorful. Definitely worth getting again. The fries weren't nearly as good, and not even in the same ballpark as 5 Guys. They're shoestring type fries, so they're almost all fried edge, with little potato. They were also way too salty. I guess salt is good for you again? I can't keep that shit straight. I would go back to Elevation Burger especially because it's half the distance as 5 Guys, and I'm generally lazy. But if I had a choice between them I'd go 5 Guys every time.

The boyfriend was craving Elevation burger and since we had the dog with us we thought that the outdoor seating area would be perfect as it was an unseasonably warm afternoon yesterday. When we got there we saw that all of the tables and chairs have been locked up for the season and we resigned ourselves to eating in the car. When I went inside to put in our order I asked if it was possible to eat on the patio anyways. I even suggested pulling out the table and chairs from inside out there myself. The staff was more than accommodating and unlocked the patio furniture for us and set up the tables and chairs. Very very nice of them and of course the food was amazing as usual. I had the vanilla with cherry milkshake for the first time though. SO TASTY!

Organic, grass fed beef burgers. Sorry, no chicken or turkey here. Vegetarian (and I believe vegan options available). Fresh cut fries fried in olive oil, generous portions, 2 could share 1 order. Fast food without the guilt :-). I've never left the store unhappy or hungry. And for every patty you buy you get a stamp punched, 7 punches = a free patty.

If this was based on food they'd get a 3.5. 5 Guys with a BS message. Fact is its still burgers and fries. Wrapping them in health conscious buzzwords like "organic" and "grass-fed" does not make it health food. Theres even a link to that tripe on their site called Better for You. At least 5 Guys, or even Great Burger down the road spares us the act of trying to make you feel like downing a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a shake is some sort of health-conscious decision. Note: I understand that a burger and fries isn't as healthy as a garden salad. But there are plenty that count, and want to know how eating there will fit into their diet for the day/week. Don't get me wrong, I love cheeseburgers, maybe a little too much. And Elevation does a good job on that front. But hiding behind a health halo (mind you they don't publish nutritional data) doesn't make french fries good for you.

Oh how I heart burgers. I know all about them. Jake's Wayback , not so great. Five guys , bland . Nifty's ,you were great until the day you gave me food poisoning. But ,Elevation, oh I'd eat here twice a week if I could. Your rolls are good, the meat is perfection and those fries , HEAVEN. It's probably best that it's a drive from my house. But when I go ,it's great.

Elevation burger offers 100% organic, grass fed , free-range beef, everything cooked in olive oil and the promise that "the ingredients matter". Prices are a little high, but considering those of you following a Gluten free/or low carb lifestyle like myself can get a lettuce leaf that doesn't taste like chemicals wrapped around an almost guilt free beef patty, I'm all for it. $5.29 for a double patty burger (cheese extra) $2.79 for fries You can also order online.

Look out 5 Guys, there's a new burger in town, and it's healthier! Just like the others have said, this place beats 5 Guys and all the other burger joints when it comes to higher standards of meat and oil usage. I got the kids burger, which is weird talk for just one patty. All of the others come with two patties and I noticed you can also mix and match, having one beef patty and one veggie patty. The fries are cooked in 100% EVO- nice! They were pretty good, too. We also indulged in a strawberry/oreo/vanilla shake, cause who can go in to a place like that and be 100% healthy? Not us, apparently. Definitely worth your hard earned $.

Went on a semi-busy Friday night for a quick bite to eat. I got the elevation burger (2 beef patties) with lettuce, tomato, pickle(you choose your own toppings) and a side of elevation sauce (kind of a cross between chipotle mayo/1000 island dressing or something- it was good though!) and an order of fries to go. The young cashier was nice, patient and helpful. I waited about 6-7 minutes for my food. The burger was smaller than I though it would be (I thought 2 patties would be WAY too big- but it was fine) but nevertheless it was good! The fries were very thin (that's ok with me), but a little too salty for my taste, but I still housed them ;] I dipped my fries in the elevation sauce (yum). I'll definitely go back. I want to try their veggie burger! And for everyone B-ing about how it's not "healthy" -DUH! It's still a burger and fries-geeze! It's just grass-fed, free range beef and fries that are fried in olive oil. Yeah, it still has a high caloric content, but it's nice to have other burger options that are more environmentally friendly than McD's (blech)!!!

Awesome !!! A healthy version of five-guys. About as healthy as a hamburger can get: Organic meat, great fries fried in olive oil, there's even a vegan option. Great shakes. Hamburgers made to order with a nice selection of toppings. Best hamburger place in the area.

Organic fast food. What a great find. Other than being organic, the food tasted wonderful. Great place for anyone even if organic doesn't matter to you. The prices were the same if not lower than in regular fast food restaurants.

They use 100% grass-fed, organic beef! I agree with their slogan, "ingredients matter" because you can taste the difference. Get the caramelized onions - it puts the burger over the top! My two cents: The burgers are bigger and better-tasting than Five Guys, and not as greasy either. The fries at both places are similar in style; however, Elevation Burger apparently fries theirs in olive oil for a heart-healthy option, and they don't use any added flavoring. They're okay here; not my fave. I'd much rather have two delicious burgers at this joint than a side of fries - Maybe that's because I love meat too much. Idk?... Just a thought. They also have two veggie burger options, one with cheese, and a vegan patty w/o cheese. (They're even prepared on a different surface and with different utensils than the beef patties.) Now, while veggie burgers aren't my style, my wife tried them and said they're some of the best-tasting veggie burgers she's ever had. There's even a cleverly-named "half the guilt burger" which has one beef patty and a veggie patty of your choice. Simple menu. Cool loyalty program (the number of punches on your card equals the number of total burger patties in your order, so they add up quickly). The staff was very pleasant and efficient. One of my new favorite places for a burger! I definitely recommend this place as I will certainly be back here for more. Peace out, Five Guys!

Good burger and great fries. Busy at lunch, but if you go in around 1:30 you can enjoy the place and outdoor seating.

The burgers are ginourmous, so I usually order a kids burger. They are delish! They come individually wrapped so you don't have to touch the ketchup bottle with your hands and then touch your burger. The fries are suprsingly good, they never come out that yummy when I've tried to fry them in olive oil....anyway you won't gp wrong here, even the veggue burger is good (i only had a bute) but they cook it on a sepearet grill from the meat! Such a nice change to get actual cow meat that was raised on grass instead of trash. Nice beefy flavor, moist, just salt and pepper to season so you really enjoy yourself. They do charge extra for the fix-ins, like sauteed onions and mushrooms, but they do a good job with both.

My companion and I went on a late saturday night and it wasn't too crowded. I was in the mood for a "gourmet" burger and Elevation seemed to have the best reviews. Definitely a better burger than what I have had at 5 Guys and Fries. My companion had the veggie burger and she was not impressed but she loved my burger. Pretty good assortment of toppings and we were both happy with the Elevation burger and the fries.

I love this place and it sucks because I work across the street and it is all I ever want for lunch. For a two patty burger with cheese and bacon(plus other free toppings), fries and a regular drink you will spend almost 15.00. It is well worth it though! The burgers are grass fed, the bacon is organic and the cheese is aged. The toppings are always fresh and tasty. My only request would be to use fresh jalapenos instead of pickled. That is the only reason why I would still visit Five Guys. The young blonde boy who works here is fantastic. I see him running around holding doors for people, taking peoples trays and asking people how they liked their meal. One time the forgot my bacon, the horror, and he brought me tons in a bowl without any questions asked.

Elevation Burger is a limited service (order at counter, server brings food to your table) burger joint which offers 100% grass fed, organic, free range beef , 2 types of vegetarian patties, fries, milk shakes and more. I've been here a few times and found the the beef patties to be tasty. It would make them even tastier if they cooked them to medium and the meat allowed to rest. You can build your own sandwich if the double isn't quite enough. Want to be bold? Try 4+ patties and a few slices of cheese. This does get overwhelming as the grease takes over your appetite. The fries are fried with olive oil which seems healthier and tastier than traditional methods. My fast food burger ranking: 1- Shake Shack 2- Five Guys 3- In-N-Out (out of state) 4- Elevation Burger 5- Jakes Way Back Pros: Socially Conscientious beef Helpful & friendly service. Loyalty card - get your card punched for every patty & get your 8th patty free Clean Cons: Pricier than McDonald's

This was my first time here and I gotta say that I enjoyed the burger. I wish they had more topping options though. I got a cheese burger. They only have cheddar cheese and white rolls. The burger was juicy even though I got it well done. I didn't like the way they wrap to go, one side of the burger sticks out. I will go back.

it's an ok burger but the cheese is horrible processed and full of food-coloring, they skimp on the toppings and make up for it in oil-soaked poorly-prepared French fries. the cost is prohibitive even for organic but they know they are the only game in town so they take advantage of that. I eat here from time to time but it's not really worth the price.

Not worth five stars, but definitely worth the four. My Boyfriend and I were watching a show about burger joints on Travel, I believe it was called Fast Food Extreme, and mind you... we were awfully hungry prior to watching it. We usually try to avoid watching food shows during those times, but these shows NEVER have places near us. They mentioned Elevation Burger being based originally in VA and I decided to see what the closest one was, and sure enough it was ten minutes down the road. We instantly got up and went over. The burger, even though I totally don't buy into the 'healthier' burger tidbit, didn't make me feel as heavy as others and it was absolutely delicious. We both got the elevation (double) burger with cheese, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard and bacon, but unfortunately they forgot it on his (which happens, and he didn't care either way so we didn't bother them about it). The fries were a perfect combo, almost like as if In-N-Out and Five Guys fries had a baby. We ended up sharing one and it wasn't too much or too little. Drink wise, we ended up with Uncle so-and-so's (I can't remember it's name), it was pricey and good, but not worth it. Just get the plain old fountain drink. We will definitely be returning and trying other things out in the future, even though I must say, it was pretty expensive.

I enjoyed the trip to this establishment with my son. He went with a grilled cheese sandwich. It came out on a hamburger bun with LOTS of thick cheddat cheese. He ate the whole thing. He loves cheese so this was a natural for him. He also had a chocolate and black cherry malt. Wow, it was delicious and chocolatey. We are wondering where the black cherry is though. He wanted a whole cherry. None were found nor was there a taste of it. I ordered a burger, of course. It came cooked medium to medium well. It was delicious and obviously fresh, not a frozen type of premade that you get in fast food places. The condiments I ordered were also of fresh quality. I ordered a side of fries. It is a large serving and was easily shared. The fries are freshly made, not the frozen kind. They are cooked in olive oil. The fries were thinly cut and natural. A slight burned taste with them, like the flavor of a shoe string potatoe chip. The location is clean with a blue and white decor. There is ample seating. When you eat in they bring the food to your table in a metal pan. It is not served fast so you might as well sit down and wait. They call your name and bring it over. We arrived just before the lunch crowd and I was pleased when I saw the lengthy line that hit just after we started eating.

I've been to this location twice. The first time, it was great. Juicy hot burger, hot fries. Very tasty. The second time was a 1 star experience. Burger was dry and overcooked, with no flavor. Maybe third time will be the charm?

It has been a couple of months since I was there, really thought I reviewed it then.... looking back, I remember the fries. They had a really good burger, but it is totally worth the trip for the fries cooked in olive oil.... excellent!.

I was driving down 63 and saw the Elevation Burger sign. I had never had an Elevation Burger before so I decided to stop in. The place was packed, and that usually seems like a good sign. I order my Elevation Burger with a few toppings, and a vanilla milkshake. The first thing I noticed was that the $4 milkshake wasn't that heavy. I opened the lid and saw that the cup was only filled half way. Being that this was my first time there, I am not sure if this is common practice, or if I just got half a milkshake. The shake itself wasn't anything special, wasn't really think of flavorful, but was okay. Totally not worth the four bucks. You may notice that I have not reviewed my burger. That is because after twenty minutes of waiting for my burger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and mayo, I got fed up and asked for a refund. The girl at the register called over who I assume to be the manager apologized and informed me that he had given my burger to someone earlier . I guess he gave it to someone who he assumed was me, because nobody had called my name. Both the girl at the register and the manager were very polite, and both apologized and informed me that my credit card had been refunded. I haven't seen the money placed back on my card, but it has only been one week so far. All in all, I would say that the employees are very nice (that is why more than one star), but a half-filled milkshake and a very long wait for a burger that I never received left a bad taste in my mouth which is a shame. My wife and I go to the Kosi in the same shopping center and I thought about taking her here because she is a vegetarian, and Elevation Burger sells both vegetarian, and vegan burgers. I doubt that they would be worth the twenty minute wait though.

I was initially drawn to the organic burgers but I discovered much more than I expected. I can't get enough of the flavorful cheeseburgers and the exceptional malts. The fries, fried completely in olive oil, are delicious as well. If the price point were a little lower I'd give elevation burger a 5 star rating.

I'm really torn here between giving these guys three or four stars. Would probably go 3.5, but so goes it on Yelp. The Veggie bugers here I think are better than the regular burgers. Otherwise the place might as well be Five Guys or some other variation. I agree with other reviews that the Fries need work. They are simply too thin with many burnt ends. Overall Its kid friendly and the food comes out quickly. We'll be back, probably sooner than later.

I've been there four times, the first time I loved it, the next two times were pretty good, and the last time I went there it tasted fine, but I got violently ill three hours after eating it. Even healthy burgers can contain e coli, or whatever it was. Because of that incident, I won't be going back. The burgers taste good, and the fries are okay, but Great Burger down the block, I think is better, even if it's not such a huge portion and the place isn't as corporate slick. Also, Jake's Wayback on 611 isn't far, and that is definitely better. 5 Guys still beats all, but isn't right in that area.

This place is terrific. I have now eaten here three times, and been delighted every time: perfect cheeseburgers and fries. (One reviewer did not like the little crispy pieces in the fries. I hunt them out and love them. To each his own.) This is by far the best burger spot in the area. Also, the restaurant is kept very clean, and the staff could not be nicer. (Note for families with food allergies: Elevation is the most allergy-friendly restaurant around. They maintain a completely separate grill for gluten-free orders. The only nuts in the restaurant are in the wrapped cookies, which are kept separate from the cooking area. The manager patiently answered every question so my daughter could eat there safely. Very impressive.)

Love the organic, no pink slime aspect but the burger was small and over cooked. The fries were over cooked and tasted oily. No plan to return.

Another cafeteria place only with an organic menu. Stopped by after work once and found service quick. But no such luck during lunch. Their famous fries lived up to reputation and expectation. They also had a great selection of fountain sodas to choose from.

My family has been here a few times and generally likes it. On my first trip today I was greeted by a totally miserable cashier that had a bad attitude when taking my order. My burger was prepared sloppy due to the lack of understanding on my part about their toppings, and the cahiers lousy customer service attitude and lack of interest or desire to inform this customer that he was making a mistake. I informed the manager that his employee reperesents his company in a bad way after receiving a paper bowl of burger soup. I admit to being surprised as my wife and kids told me they usually have very friendly cashiers attend to them here. My bad luck. I will assume she was having a bad day, (no company would hire or retain someone so miserable) but I won't go back. The burgers are OK, the fries not too good, but not a bad place to go to for something a bit different. I won't be going back, there are too many options I have where the people (who cook your food, by the way) are actually courteous and at least appear to appreciate your business.
