Based on other Yelp reviews, decided to stop here for dinner on our way home from the Finger Lakes. Apps, soup, dinner... All delish! We started with the Drunkin corn dog and calamari. Hubs had the spicy duck wonton soup (very flavorful, but a bit salty). For dinner I had the filet (cooked perfectly) over a mushroom risotto and he had the hanger steak with basil mashed. We were waaayy too full for dessert, maybe next time. A definite must stop if you're in the neighborhood.

I had heard some negative things about this place when they first opened up, but tried for myself and it was awesome. Very unique dishes like kangaroo, camel and rabbit. Awesome drinks as well, with a ton of infused liquors. Possibly the best place in Williamsport.

Went for lunch with the family. Service was outstanding! Friendly...helpful...quick. OK...OK..When I am eating dinner, having a meal quick is not that important, but for lunch during the workday? Quick can be an issue. We had a peta bread and jalapeno dip appetizer that was just yummy. I had a kangaroo burger that was very tasty. ( one of the reasons we went was to try some of the wild game )...daughter had bison quesadillas...wife had a great Cobb salad, while the mother in law had just a good old fashioned hamburger. Everything was good. Nice thing about the place is that although you can order some very unique meats, you don't have to. The normal fare is good to. Place was casual, clean, and very new looking. Someone has put some money into it and it shows. We will be sure and go back many times. P.S. decent selection of craft brew too!

Unfortunately I can't give this place a better review. It's looks nice and the food is probably good, but I was seated and my drink brought to me right away, then nothing- no server or anyone came over for a long time. So long in fact that I decided to finish my drink and find another place to eat. I was really looking forward to eating here, but they have to take an order first!!!

I'm in Williamsport temporarily for work and this is the best place I've tried so far! I have finally found a place in this little town that has something other than pizza and hoagies! We had the fried calamari, which was not chewy at all and had very light breading. The meatloaf was very good and so yummy with the bacon wrapped around it! Stuffing it with Mac n cheese was a nice touch as well. My husband had the bison flat iron steak with mango and pineapple fried rice. He ate every bite! For dessert we ordered the mocha creme brûlée, which was fantastic! The caramelized sugar on top was toasted perfectly and had that perfect crispiness when you dipped your spoon in! We were already planning our next trip there before we left the restaurant. Maybe we will go again this weekend.

I moved to Pittsburgh less than a year ago and if only one one thing has since called me back to Williamsport, it is the glorious sticky Cobb salad. Mind you, I am not a salad gal, but this salad is mind blowing. Get it.

Been here a few times and I absolutely love it! Such a hidden gem in Williamsport with a creative and sophisticated menu featuring foods you don't see everyday. Great to find a place with a great burger or wings but also offering duck, shark, elk, quail, and bison too! Love their specialty cocktails (try the sticky arse!) and different infused alcohols (sour patch infused vodka). And ask for Tuesday or Michelle as your server! So fun how they offer cream cheese tortilla rolls with a sweet chili sauce instead of bread and butter! My favorite appetizers have got to be the seafood scampi flatbread, lobster dip, and sticky fondue (with broccoli, pretzel bites, and lobster tempura!). The lobster bisque also has nice big chucks of lobster meat in it. I was also impressed with their kale salad, beet salad, and strawberry salad. For entrees my filet mignon was cooked perfectly, my date loved the crab stuffed lobster tail, and the mac n cheese stuffed meatloaf wrapped in bacon was incredibly rich and delicious! Portions here are filling so I've been too stuffed to try dessert yet but hopefully I will soon!!

I had been to the Sticky Elbow when it first opened and had a wonderful Filet Mignon dinner. Today I thought I would treat my husband, who had never been there before, for his birthday dinner and was very disappointed. His BBQ Brisket cheesesteak was burnt and the fries were soggy with grease. He was only drinking water and the waiter never came back to our table to refill his glass. I ordered the veggie panini--for some reason, there were large raw radishes in the sandwich (unflavorful and difficult to bite through-- not sure why they chose to put these on this sandwich)--the fries on my plate were also soggy. Very disappointed.

3rd time here, and haven't been disappointed yet! Enjoyed lunch on the patio on a sunny day. Tried the Nutty Burger with fries; great burger, not too dry. It's a black bean/nut burger with swiss cheese, tomato aioli and avocado. Good option for vegetarians. The fries had the perfect amount of crispiness.

5 stars because they have the best menu in town, the food was great (cooks are doing a great job), good craft draft beer selection, very good service, and the place is new and quite nice. I would bring a date here.
(5)Dan C.
First time here and it was very good. I had kangaroo stacks (burgers). This is a good place if you are sick of the same old food and want something different. On the other hand my wife had a classic meatloaf but stuffed with Mac and cheese and wrapped in bacon. Also very good. Good food and prices not unreasonable for the quality of food you are getting. Will be back for sure.

Great food! The variety here is fantastic! They seem to specialize in exotic meats. They always have items you can find on any menu. I love the location as it is close to my home and work. Definitely give this a try! It's amazing. I've never had a bad experience here.

Has potential but not worth your money. Tap selection is good, but they're always out of several. Leaves you with little real selection. Bottle selection is lame. "Pints" are actually the 14oz glasses made to look like 16oz ( I hate this). Prices are not listed either. Tasters are $2 no matter what, even if they were out of the first four beers that you tried to order and there is nothing left that you are bold enough commit to. I'm not cheap but a little customer service would be nice. Food falls short too. Trying to hard to be an exotic gastropub. Some creativity for sure, but nothing is refined. Don't know the history but seems like its a financial investment rather than a serious service provider.

I had a horrible dining experience here, probably the worst in my recent memory. I've waited a bit to write this review because I hate writing bad reviews, especially since this is a new place. However, since time has passed and the immediate anger is gone, but I still cringe when thinking about my experience, I need to review the horrible night I had on August's First Friday at The Sticky Elbow. To start off, it's kind of odd with how the parking lot is essentially right on the next door neighbor's lawn, but it is nice that you don't have to park on the street, something that's annoying with most of the places downtown. Walking in, the place was pretty busy, and the host lead us to a high table squeezed into a corner right next to the very loud bar. We didn't want to complain, and figured we might have to wait for a better table (if there was one) so we just accepted the table that we were uncomfortable sitting in. To increase our discomfort, along with being seated next to the very noisy bar, the place was also almost unbearably hot, with the air-conditioner every once in awhile kicking on to cool you down a little. Looking at the menu, there was a large variety of different options, but one thing that they all had in common were relatively high prices. We ordered drinks, and they had a decent amount of different beers on tap, but they didn't have any special mixed drinks (something that I would have expected). I ordered the macaroni stuffed meatloaf because it sounded really good, and the person I was with ordered the house burger. We also ordered the chicken flatbread, which was the only slightly reasonably priced table appetizer, but the waitress came back a little later saying that they were all out of flatbread. We didn't feel like having anything else, and since they don't offer anything extra (bread/chips/salad) we just waited for our meal. Sadly, our wait was extremely long in the previously mentioned uncomfortable bar chairs, I can't remember exactly, but it was over an hour. Finally, our waitress arrived with our meals, except that the burger was missing and it was only my meatloaf on her tray. She apologized and left our table, I would have waited, but I was very hungry so I started eating my meal. First off, the dish was absolutely ugly, I expected a stuffed loaf of meat, but I instead got two small slices of meatloaf with big holes in the center that had some macaroni and cheese thrown in, then there was this nasty looking bechamel sauce/gravy poured over the meatloaf and the side of broccoli. The actual meatloaf was very basic and plain, just looked like meat and some binder, nothing extra. Then the mac'n'cheese when tasted by itself was completely bland, under-seasoned, and not very cheesy. The broccoli were also very bland, they were cooked fine, but they were just steamed and they were under-seasoned, you had to eat them with the ugly bechamel to get any flavor. Overall, it was a very mediocre dish, and I was left unsatisfied when I finished. To make things worse, even though I took my time eating my meal, when I finished it the House Burger still hadn't arrived, and the waitress was no where to be found as well. The burger didn't come until 15-20 minutes after the meatloaf was served, and we were obviously very unhappy with this turn of events. We asked the waitress to just box up the burger and give us our check. She took another ten minutes or so to get our box and the check; then I was planning on paying with a credit card, but the waitress never came back. I waited another 5 minutes or so, and then took my card out of the book and threw some cash in and we left. The waitress never sincerely apologized for our horrible experience, and she just didn't seem to care about us at all. We never saw a manager, but I wish that we would have asked for one. Once we were in the air-conditioned car, we shared the burger and fries. There was a very low bar of expectations at this point, but the burger was better than my meatloaf. However, it was greasy, the consistency of the patty was a little off, it was way over-peppered, and the toppings were kind of ugly. Still, the burger wasn't horrible. The fries were also decent, but they were kind of soggy, limp, and over-seasoned. That was the end our night, I wish this place luck, but I don't think that I'll never be eating here again. As for the actual Sticky Elbow Restaurant, the place is small, and the bar area takes up 2/3 of the interior. The last third has three or four booths and multiple small two-top tables which they can combine for a large party. There's a large uncovered patio area, but the season in Williamsport is very short (4 months) and even then it tends to rain a lot. The decor is nice (though it needs more real tables), and the menu has potential, but the food and the service definitely needs work.

We had an amazing dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our server was so helpful and attentive. The menu is very diverse and tempting. A must try are the different infused alcoholic beverages they offer.
(5)Dustin H.
Great selection of infused liquors, but beware of the pricing. Somewhere on the liquor menu, I believe it says that the price you see is per shot or ounce. Something like that. So when you order a drink made with it, it uses 2-3 times that much liquor and therefore, your drink is 2-3 times the price. The atmosphere is great. Everything seems modern and clean. I've never had bad service here and there are always new, strange but delicious, specials to choose from. The Stick Elbow is great for trying something new and exotic or just an old favorite with a delicious new spin.

What a find in Central PA! This Chef and menu could easily succeed in NYC. The seared scallops over cheesy grits with boisenberry sauce were perfectly cooked and seasoned, as was my duck breast. The crisp, slightly sweet Brussell slaw complimented the woodsy oyster mushroom sauce and risotto-filled dumplings. Also on the menu is rabbit - hard to get around here - and everything from sushi to sandwiches. It was our servers first night, and she wasn't as familiar with the menu as I would have liked, and she left the table empty handed without removing empty glasses/dishes...pet peeve. Beautiful neon deco bar with 2-tops and high-tops. We went at 730, noise level fine. Not sure about earlier, as there is only a partition between bar and dining area with booths and tables.

Excellent restaurant. Very updated and relaxing bar area. Inside and outside dining. Full bar menu and great food menu. Great service.

Very pricey. The food was OK but not as good as it is talked up to be. Staff was great but took a very long time to get your food.

My girlfriend and I wanted to go somewhere good to celebrate my new job, so we decided sticky elbow. Best choice! The ombiance was a nice surprise that you wouldn't expect from the outside. I got the duck wonton (amazing) and the bison ribeye (incredible and perfectly Cooked [Pittsburgh rare, not many places can do that]). My girlfriend got the dry aged new York strip!!! It was HUGE!!! 2 inches thick easily! And again perfect cooked to order (mid-rare)! We also got the fondue sampler as an appetizer.... "Melting Pot" worthy!!! "In some ways I feel they put melting pot to shame"-My girlfriend. The drink were amazing! They have their own infused liquors that were perfect. They are very creative with their drinks. Our server who was also the bartender was very friendly and informative. She knew every item on the menu. No "let me go talk to the chef". All-in-all I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have good food and leave full after a great meal!

This was our first time eating food from The Sticky Elbow, we were in town for the night and saw the Yelp Reviews and figured we should try it. What a HUGE disappointment, I would have been better off eating at Burger King next door. We ordered a Caesar Salad with grapes and a toasted crouton. It was horrible and bland, there was no grapes, and the salad was wilted and gross. The crouton was soggy and bland with no flavor at all. I'll post pics. The Bacon Burger was a horrible failure as well. We asked for medium rare and got a burnt patty where all you could taste was burnt meat. The pork belly tacos were just a tiny bit better but the Asian slaw was not good, it tasted and looked like it had been sitting out all day. I want my $50 back. Too bad I will never be through this part of PA again as we are just driving through. I can't complain to anyone as we picked up our food and they are now closed. We seriously regretted not ordering Burger King next door the minute we saw the food. The food here wasn't edible.

My fiancé and I went on a Sunday night to avoid the crowd. The ambience was great. The staff was great the outside dining with fireplace was great. However the three stars is because of the food and the prices. I like how they have a variety of unusual foods for the area but that don't mean anything if the food is only mediocre. It had no "wow" factor. Maybe I was expecting that because of the prices. I guess because we went during off peak hours that they didn't have there prime chef working. However, if your just going out for drinks this is a nice safe pleasant place to go.

Found the restaurant on Yelp...went because of reviews. I had the calamari which was great. Salad with roasted beets was ok...but, don't advertise it as roasted beets and then give me beets from a can. Yuck. I asked for a substitution for the goat cheese... Server said it now came with blue cheese; they just hadn't updated their menus. Nope-salad came out with goat cheese, and I am not a fan. Menu was interesting. Lots of choices and not run of the mill. I just thought it was ok.

This place ROCKS!!!! Great food and excellent staff. I got the SWEET POTATO BURGER House made sweet potato and white bean patty topped with sliced avocado, lettuce, creamy dijon, and swiss cheese You will not be disappointed if you try this!!

Baseball Families... we were in the area for a tournament this weekend and stopped by here; Great food and a lot of it if ur hungry!! had a wonderful veggie panini w/ great fries (like ya get at the beach), son had a huge plate of nachos (done to perfection), and my husbands wings were great, of course he had a beer with them! Nice and friendly waitress with great smile and good service! definitely try this place out!!!
(5)Lisa S.
My sister and I had a very nice time having dinner for a girls night out. We had very relaxing atmosphere in the upstairs dining area. The waitstaff was helpful when we were unsure about the menu selections. The food they helped us choose was delicious.
(3)Ross H.
super friendly staff, really good food off of an interesting menu. The portions were more than I could handle. I'm impressed.
(4)Carlo G.
The bison burger is excellent; a bit small, but for the taste you can't beat it. The nachos where the best nanchos I have had I'm a very long time. Also, the staff is so nice and attentive. Five stars to Ken Matty and Candy.
(5)April L.
The food here was great! The portion sizes are huge so go hungry. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. They have a variety of atmospheres between the indoor and outdoor seating. I'm looking forward to my next trip to the area so I can eat there again!
(5)Tes Y.
Bacon burger with smoked gouda, bacon and bacon aioli. Lots of fat and calories, but it's worth it. The beef is cooked to a juicy medium rare and the smoky flavor of the gouda complements the bacon well! One of the best burgers I've had! Braised rabbit with basil mashed potatoes is tender and delicious! The meat fell right off the bone.
(4)Matt M.
Great food, excellent service and good vibe. Loved the variety on the menu, something for everyone.

High hopes for this place. Heard positive reviews so had to finally try it tonight. Ugg. Drinks were the highlight. Wife ordered the ribeye on the server recommendation at medium temp. She cut into it right away and it was well done. Finally had to flag him down to check in and she sent it back and didn't want a replacement. Mine I ordered the special sea bass cooked in banana leaf. First bite was good but just warm and as I got closer to the center it was not fully cooked and cold. I sent that back asking to have the chef say if that looked right. Sever came back and said yes but not with my fish. Got the bill and the steak was removed but not the fish. When I questioned having to pay for the whole entree they said noticing was being taken off. I just ended up paying and writing this extensive review. I may return for a second chance just because the decor is nice but maybe not...
(2)Cynthia S.
We have eaten here several times over the past year. They always have great beers interesting cocktails and fun things on the menu. Camel, kangaroo and rabbit are just some of the offerings. The portions are nicely sized and the servers are friendly. A must go to in Williamsport
(5)Mandira H.
I had dinner here last night, only the second night the restaurant has been open, and am eager to write a review with the experience of my meal still fresh in my mind. The first thing I noticed on the menu was that almost every category had at least one appetizing vegetarian option. The vegetarian options looked so good that, for one of the first times dining out in Williamsport, I had a difficult time deciding what to order. I finally ended up going with a strawberry salad and a sweet potato patty burger. The wait time for both dishes was not bad given the crowd and amount of staff. The strawberry salad was visually stunning with golf ball-sized watermelon balls, arugula, feta, and carefully drizzled balsamic reduction. The sweet-savory combination was well-executed. The sweet potato burger was less impressive but still good. The patty had a crisp texture, the fries had a nice flavor, and the portion size was perfect. However, the flavor of the avocado on the burger was completely hidden and the fries were soggy. Overall, I was happy with my dinner and will definitely be coming back to try the other vegetarian options. The dishes are likely to only get better with time and already outdo similar offerings in town.
(4)Karl F.
Really enjoyed our experience. Sushi, dinners, dessert, and drinks were all great. Great beer selection. The menu, while not enormous, has a solid selection. It's not the cheapest place in town, however we felt it was absolutely worth it. Our server was great, and was a delightful part of our time.
(5)Eric S.
Excellent new spot in WMPT! Will be back. Thanks for the great service, Paul!
(5)Chris A.
This place is AWESOME! I was out last night for dinner and was blown away by the menu, the atmosphere, and the staff. One of the best waitresses I've ever had, hands down. Honestly I could see this being a restaurant you would see on the food network. The menu is very diverse and the Executive chef prepares anything from vegetarian dishes, sushi, and even some exotic game. I had the bison tenderloin that was just as good as any filet I've ever had. The menu truly does have something for everyone. I enjoyed this place so much, I went back for lunch today. My buddy said it's the best burger he's ever had. The sandwich I devoured today was "The Hog", and I'll say this...delicious, ridiculous, goodness. Perfect for a date or a night with your friends. The drink menu is great, I had the "Sticky Arse" which is similar to a Moscow Mule and it's served in a proper, copper mug. They have a huge selection of infused liquors, I tried the Jameson infused with apples, woah! Can't wait to go back. Give this place try!

My favorite place in williamsport. A restraunt that isnt the same old. Iv been there many times now. My wife and I love this place. I treated my employees to dinner here for a christmas get together. They loved it also!
(5)John G.
We didn't have reservations but they gave us a private room upstairs which was great. The menu was diverse and it was hard to decide what to order because everything looked so good. The wife had the meatloaf which was awesome and I had the bowtie pasta dish while our son had sushi. It was all fantastic. Highly recommend this place!
(5)Brian O.
The potential was there, but the execution was not. Our waitress was very friendly however, she had not tasted many of the items on the menu. They are attempting to bring big city atmosphere and an eclectic menu but the taste fell flat. Our waitress recommended the sweet potato gnocchi but they were dry and over cooked with minimal sauce and were overly garlicky.
