I literally grew up eating the Chicken Coop's wings. I started with them back in late 80's, when the owner used to cook in a small pub in Plains. I've had the chance to sample wings from all around the country and still come back to their General Alarm wings as one of top 3 favorites ever, offering a high degree of heat and flavor.

Not bad. I like the wings and the pizza is good. If I had to complain it would be that the service is a little slow and the beer selection could be better. I do recommend the food however so check it out.

The wings are flavorless soggy garbage. I stressed to them when I ordered that I like them hot and they assured me they were plenty hot. Most other places milds are hotter, it was joke. I guess hot means bland at the chicken coop. Never again, I dont know how they are still open.

went sunday night for 1/2 price burger. burger was o.k. French fries were cold and soggy. Somebody wasn't doin their job.

The food is fantastic and the drinks are even better but the service can be a little slow, depends on who is working.

In my opinion the Chicken Coop is the BEST wing place in Wilkes Barre, PA. I LOVE THEIR HOT WINGS and their blue cheese! So thankful that you guys moved to Wilkes Barre!

Visited last night and tried some other flavors. I really liked their cajun sauce and the crinkle cut fries were really good. They also had good specials on draft beer adn service was pleasant. I would like to return to try some additional flavors and at the very least, have more cajun wings. Yum.

I ordered the Mozzy Burger and some waffle fries. It was ok, a little on the greasy side. Not sure if it was the quality of meat or something else. Service was a little slow for a night that was not busy. Would I eat here again? I guess, but honestly I'd rather go right up the street to the Arena Bar or to Cafe 99 in Parsons.

The service was slow, I did not like the hot wing sauce, the fries were good.

My husband and I went to check out this place for their wings. Overall, food was horrible, wings were gross, and the soda tasted funky!!! It's a total bar type place and I would never go back. The service was even slow. The only good thing about it was the atmosphere inside. You had the local PA bar goers and some great deco on the walls but thats about it. So if you are looking for good food...this is NOT the place to go!!!

I'm VERY picky about wings since its by far my favorite food and I thought these were terrific. I was skeptical but by far my favorite in the area so far. Service was great and the other food was great too! Can't beat giant tv's with football and half price burgers on Sundays! I recommend

I have been to Chicken Coop many times & I have never had a problem with the service at all. My Wife loves this place. My opinion about the Wings is they are average at best but the food is way overpriced. I can think of at least 5 other places 15 minutes from Chicken Coop that will blow their wings away & the Frog Pond on Coal Street is one of them. Their beer selection is also average. If your a Coors or a Miller Lite drinker this is your place.

The Chicken Coop's location recently moved to Wilkes-Barre Blvd, formerly known as Big Ugly's. Love the menu. I recently tried the Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip. So good. You can have a choice of any wing sauce on their menu, which is probably pushing 20 or so? Red garlic is a good choice. The Coop Chips are also another great choice. The chips are baked or fried (not sure which one) and served with either cajan or cheese sauce. Recommend the cajun sauce over the cheese. The bar is pimped out in sports memorabilia and old signs. There's a small flat screen tv at each table, which makes for a fun time if you wanna come and watch a game. Nice job Coop!

I'm always looking for a great burger and to my surprise the chicken coop had an amazing burger. The burgers are hand formed and thick. None of this preformed thin patty stuff. It was cooked perfectly and so juicy, several napkins were needed. I usually get my burgers medium well and expect to have some pink in the middle. Apparently for some restaurants, getting a burger cooked right is not easy. The horsey sauce was delicious, not over powering or too creamy. The french fries arent that great but I'm willing to forgive it considering the awesome burger. Currently the best burger I've had in NEPA. The service was a tad on the slow side but nothing to complain about.

I was not at this location, I was in the Old Forge location. There was not a Yelp there. I was told same owners so here's my review... In my opinion, not good at all. Went on a Sunday as I said to the Old Forge location, I ordered the "famous wings" in hot garlic also it was 1/2 price burger day, so I got one with bacon and cheese. Wings- not crispy, very small and not really hot. The buttery garlic sauce that was drizzled over top of the already sauced wings was greasy, oily, & garlicky. I've had better wings for sure. Not a fan. The burger- the bun was stale first off. I ordered medium rare. The burger was well done. The flavor of the beef was good tho, seemed like better quality beef. The 2 slabs of bacon were good. I'd rather not go back. Thanks anyway and I'm glad I did stop. Now I can say I've been there.

Good food and good service. A nice place for sports people also. A little pricey but quality food. Tv's all over and a nice bar. Worth the trip.

Superb food!! We had salads; nice and fresh....wings and boneless wings.....cocktails were absolutely horrible!!!! Don't waste your $ on cocktails.
