Just had a coffee grande. Perfect afternoon pick-me-up. Friendly service and very fast.

This Starbucks is fairly run of the mill - the real reason for only three stars is that their drive thru often takes way too long. Also, they frequently are not brewing decaf coffee and you have to wait for them to do a pour over. This is a coffee shop - decaf is pretty standard. Why are we not keeping it available? Their service, like most Starbucks, is pretty decent. I like their food products - especially the breakfast sandwich with the smoked Gouda. The price, also like most Starbucks, is a bit higher than I'd like but not terrible - as long as you steer clear of the fancy beverages.

This Starbucks is located across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn in Wilkes Barre. After checking in at the hotel, I walked across the street to grab a cup of coffee - ordered a tall dark roast with room for cream, then walked it back to the hotel to settle in to watch some college football. The coffee was strong and delicious! Staff were prompt and friendly!

As Starbucks go, this one is pretty run of the mill. It is small, so it get loud with only a few people. But when it is empty, it is quite pleasant. The staff is competent and has always treated me well. The drive thru works smoothly as well. Nothing particularly good or bad.

Its a Starbucks, there really isn't that much more to say. This location has easy parking, a friendly staff, and the drive thru line moves more efficiently than many other locations I've visited across the country.

Pretty average Starbucks location. Some employees are friendly, and others could care less about keeping customers happy. It's always a crap shoot. If you go, I hope you get a pleasant employee/barista.

Normally I wouldn't comment but this happened the last 4 times I've been here. 5 baristas one counter one window the other 3 avoiding eye contact doing busy work while the line grows longer. A loyal Starbucks customer I'll avoid now by looking at other customer focused local options.

I have never reviewed a Starbucks as I have never had a bad experience in years of traveling up and down the east coast and cross country from the east to the west coast. This is my first ever. And lest you think it's my fault, I'm a southern woman who was brought up to be polite in the extreme. Normally I can get a smile out of the most overworked and stressed out service person because I do my best to be nice to the hilt. Two weeks ago on a stressful cross country trip trying to stay ahead of the impending snow storm I came into this Starbucks. There was no line but all 4 people behind the counter seemed to be completely wrapped up in their world chatting and laughing among themselves and ignored me for quite a few moments. I gave my order which is always the same and because of my southern accent, I make sure I pronounce what I want slowly and carefully. I did not get what I specifically asked for and when I politely questioned the young woman, she was rude and did not offer to do anything about it. Not going to stop there again! I got the sense there was some kind of mean girl thing going on there. Management needs to make a surprise swoop.

I only ever do drive-thru, but service has always been fast and excellent when I need a quick cuppa.

Leaving the Wilkes-Barre Best Western after a weekend of skiing at Snö Mountain, I had a huge caffeine low-level warning light in my brain, so I needed to get to the closest coffee house. Then I found this Starbucks just a couple of miles from I-81. Friendly and well staffed, this is a stand alone outlet with an unfortunate location next to a Wal-Mart, It even has a drive-in window for the lazy customers who insist on driving to the nearest block. Then, to top it off, the customer in front of me at the counter was dressed in a long lace dress with a bonnett on her head (Mennonite, I guess) and had never been to a Starbucks in her life, so the barista had to show her how she processed the coffee, what ingredients she could add, ad nauseam. Funny, but that's Pennsylvania... After this amusing anecdote, I got my drink and chucked it to experience.

Just about a mile from I-81 so if you need a fix whilst on your road trip, this place is well worth the detour from the interstate.

This is a small Starbucks, but they serve the typical items. The service was fast and friendly when I stopped by on Black Friday.

Worth the price, worth the visit. End of story.
