I hate one star reviews. A restaurant has to do something really bad to make me give one. This is my third one in 150 reviews. I'm always amazed at people who hand them out often. The food was boring, sweet, salty, and greasy. Exactly as I expected it would be. Sriracha on the sauce table? It is the only reason I'm wanting to review this place at all. Oh, also, the grilled jalapeños on the taco bar? Fantastic! But the restrooms. Overflowing trash cans, wet stalls, a *broken* toilet in the men's room...None of these issues were addressed during our hour long visit. Not at all acceptable, not even for a bottom of a barrel buffet. Truly awful.

Wow. On a Friday night you would think at dinner time there would be food on the buffet. What was there was serviceable as food but upon arriving home the grease hit me and I spent the rest of the night wishing I wouldn't have eaten here. The place looked dirty and the employees seemed pretty content just walking around or standing talking. Half the plates were in a bus tube sitting at the end of the buffet which honestly I think they were clean but you couldn't really tell. Cups seemed greasy also. It has been awhile since I ate at an old country buffet but I don't remember them being this dirty looking. I won't go back yo this location for sure.

Friends have made fun of me for enjoying old country buffet in wilkes barre but I don't care. If you arrive around 3:30 when the fresh dinner selections arrive you will enjoy it. Not the cleanest place. I have seen some pretty sketchy kitchen workers in the past. As I read the other reviews I can't help but to think that Anyone who goes to any restaurant at the last remaining hour of business can't really complain. You should already know what you are walking into and who you are dealing with. I truly wish OCB would install a sink to wash your hands near the food stations. For the workers and the customers. Other than that my last experience was amazing. The food was amazing. New menu is really nice. A huge improvement from years gone by. This buffet had baked Salmon, Ham, ROast beef, fried chicken, country fried steak, sirloin steak griddles, mac and cheese, 3 different kinds of potatoes, 2 kinds of soup, a huge salad bar, a huge taco station, fried fish baked fish, hot dogs, kielbasi and saurkraut, carrots, corn, beef gravy and country gravy, fresh rolls and much much more. The Desert menu included a new personallized bread pudding, carrot cake, pecan pie. Hot fudge desert. Hot apple crisp, layered pudding cups cookies and other cakes. I highly suggest you check them out. THey truly have improved. I just won't make eating there a habit. Or I just might end up to be 700 pounds like most of the folks in there.

I can't really explain the thought process that led me to this place, but holy shit it's bad. This place serves food that is significantly worse than most fast food. If you can't buy more fast food than you can eat for 11 bucks, you've got a problem.
