When I say the customer service was excellent...it was really excellent! I placed a to go order for myself and several coworkers. When I got there the gentlemen told me he didn't start my fries yet because he didn't want them to get soggy! ( no one ever thinks of that) He then bagged everything up for me and I asked if they had any kind of dessert...I ordered a piece of the pecan pie. He said because he butchered the piece he gave me a second one for free!!!! He then carried by bags to my car! I had the pulled pork sandwich, baked potato casserole, and bbq beans. All were amazing!!! Everyone loved their food! The service and the food were so excellent we will definitely be ordering from there again!!!

Arrived on a Saturday night and we were quickly greeted and shown how to order. The gentlemen behind the counter gave me samples of the chicken which was very moist and tasty. Personally, my favorite was the pulled pork which was very moist, had very little fat and was loaded with flavor. We had the mashed potato casserole and the baked beans as sides and they were both good as well. I'd definitely come back!

We leave the casino and try to decide where to eat dinner. This place won out because (a) it was the first place we passed and (b) neither of us had eaten here before. It is in the corner of an otherwise empty strip mall. The parking lot only had a few cars. It is fast food where you order at a counter and then pick it up at a cashier. So I decide to get a half-rack of ribs. It was $13 and it doesn't come with any sides. The sides are extra. Anyway, the guy gets out my ribs and they are covered in saran wrap. The ribs weren't tender at all. I got mac and cheese which was appeared to be nothing more than elbow noodles put in liquid Velveeta. My dad got a pulled pork sandwich, which oddly enough did come with a side. It did have one nice sized onion on it. They have free "ice cream". I put ice cream in quotation marks since I don't think it was actually ice cream (ice milk would be my first guess). They have small cones on a counter and a self serve machine (vanilla only). After I ate it, not sure I want to pick up an ice cream cone that I am sure some small child has touched. For $18.55, I was definitely not impressed. I have been to a couple of barbecue chains down south that have better food at a more reasonable price. I probably wouldn't come back here.

Ate here with my dad before seeing Interstellar so it definitely had a lot to live up to so that I'd still remember it while crying while Matthew McConaughey viewed the messages from his kids over the past 20 years or so. That being said, the prices were a bit high but being a BBQ joint I wouldn't really consider it a place to eat at regularly for casual dinner so I forgive the prices. That being said, what I DID get I consider excellent. My meal in addition to the sides were all unique and very filling. The free ice cream is a great antidote to the inevitable bowel obstruction I would have experienced following my spicy sausage sandwich and jalapeño beans. Not that that is a bad thing, of course. What is pleasure without a bit of pain? I think people are a bit too critical of their "experiences in cuisine". Even though I went during their opening week with their employees still getting the hang of things, I still greatly enjoyed my food and my visit. You live in NEPA, stop setting your standards so high and acting like you deserve top-notch service. Dickey's was a great experience in my book and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

Last night we had a terrific experience here. We arrived near closing time, and the staff apologized that many items had run out. We understood, but anyway this turned out to be no problem, as they did have ribs, which were terrific, and the barbecue baked beans are just about the best we've had - not sweet, but smoky and savory and delicious, But even better was the very friendly staff; they were helpful, funny and accommodating, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I wish I lived around the corner from this place.

Beyond the gimmicky, chain restaurant nonsense is a decent, but far from an exceptional, BBQ joint. Confounding is why a BBQ restaurant would choose a large, yellow drink cup as a promotional tool. Fountain beverages, regardless of size, are not exciting in the least bit. Most BBQ places boast about their sauces, meat, or slow smoked flavor, not giant drinks and free, bland ice cream. Nevertheless, the food on its own, is good, though better examples exist in the area. Worth stopping by if you are in the area. Staff seemed friendly and service was without any problems.

If I could give zero stars, I would. How can you run out of chicken at 4:30pm on a Friday, and today, Sunday, you have no chicken, turkey or sausage at 6:30pm!!! Shut the place down if you can't afford to stock it!

The turkey and the chicken breasts were great... The jalapeno beans were okay, they taste like chili, and the green beans were not good because they taste too much like onion! The westerner sandwich was top-notch the onion fries & the macaroni and cheese were excellent!
