We stopped in for lunch today here at the pizza / grill place. We took a seat at the bar. The food selection is more diner style with pizza then bar and grill. We ordered a cheese steak, bacon cheese burger, side of fries and a slice of meat lovers pizza. The pizza was greasy and the 1/2 the toppings looked added to a previously baked slice they weren't in the cheese and weren't cut well for pizza toppings. The burger was god awful burnt and thin. Onion wasn't cut for a burger and just tossed all over the place. Had to rip the long strips made for salad myself. The cheese steak might have been the worst we couldn't even finish it. The fries were plain and didn't taste like the oil was fresh. The beer was cold. And when the bar tendered asked how everything was I told her the beer was cold. That's the only thing good I could think of. You could tell she didn't know how to react but didn't further engage to find out why I wouldn't talk about the food. I won't be back. I suggest you save your self the trouble.

How can people be giving Palace Pizza low ratings?!? This place is amazing. Can you name any other place in the Lehigh Valley with such awesome and original pizza toppings? Triple Mushroom Pizza! Pierogi Pizza! Taco Pizza! SPAGHETTI pizza! This place is a home town favourite. Needless to say though, if you are watching your figure you can only go to Palace once a month, and you'll need to get on that exercise bike ten extra minutes the rest of the month. But delicious food is never healthy. So live a little. Live A LOT at Palace!!!

Ordered chicken parm platter and meatball parm hogie. The platter had the smallest portion of chicken I've ever seen & it was pounded flat as a sheet of paper. The meatball hogie was pathetic. They actually sliced 3 meatballs and spread it across the bread. I've never had such itsy bitsy portions from any Italian restaurant in my life. To make matters worse, the chicken was over cooked it was like greasy shoe leather. The meatballs were bland, dry and literally crumbled to pieces.

The pizza was pretty good. Ordered a slice of the mild buffalo chicken pizza and may have been given the sweet buffalo sauce. Either way, was pretty good. Went in for lunch, so it wasn't packed at all. There was actually no one else in there. The staff was very loud and bad mouthing people, discussing their financials, how much money people owe them, shouting from the bar area into the eating/kitchen area, and the loudest one was there on his day off. I know because it was said about 5 times. Pizza was pretty good, but don't need to hear what's goin on in the staff's personal lives.

What a fun pizza plaxe. Everyone is so awesome and friendly. Pizza is amazing. Raw clams are fresh to death!!! We are always laughing when we go there. & probably becauze they are from long island. Long islanders always do ot better right!!!!!???? Hahahh best place to go.!

Yikes. Ordered 2 slices, a chicken Cesar salad, and 6 wings. 10 minutes they brought the slices out. I asked where my salad was. 5 minutes later, still no salad. I asked for it to go right away since we had to be somewhere else. But I still wanted a few bites before we left. Ate 1 piece of chicken on the salad and it was disgusting. Tasted like it was in the fridge for about 5 days. So I tell the waitress. She brings the owner/head cook out and he ARGUES with me that I was just mad for the delay in service and that chicken was made fresh today. It was clearly reheated in the microwave. I challenged him to taste it. He declined. There was no dressing either. This cost $9.50. They at least took it off my bill, but I paid $25 for 2 slices, 2 sodas, and 6 wings. We eat out A LOT. And I will NEVER return to this establishment, no matter how convenient it is. YELLED AT ME!

I go for the pizza. The quality is pretty much "hit or miss". Customers say, "depends who is in the kitchen." I have had PERFECT pizza there and I have had lousy pizza there. Once I was told I need to order "thin crust" if I want it thin, so I did. Well, it came our regular. That guy told me you have to order it "extra thin crust". Used to go because they had cheap drafts. Not anymore so it's not worth the drive to take a chance on a "hit or miss" pizza place.

My grandfather was visiting and after trying several places, we brought home a half plain half with mushrooms and spinach and he said "why would you go anywhere else?" Even better reheated the next day.

Ok... so as the only person that has ever left a review I need to update... I have been coming to this pace for 20 years. When I moved to CA I would still come here every time I was home. It has been about a year since I was here... but I was really disappointed. Things have gone down hill. The pizza crust was not as think and as good as it use to be. The slices were smaller... and the slices were cold. I was very disappointed.

This was my first time trying Palace Pizza, and the only reason I did so was because I was in the mood for a meatball parm sub and this was the only place open until 11pm on a Wednesday night. Every other place in the area closes at 10 so I was happy to find some place still open nearby. I'm sorry I tried this place though. I can only review what I had, which was a meatball parm sub, but this has to be the worst sandwich I have ever had before. I've tried meatball subs from pretty much every pizza place in the area, some I like, some I don't, but never have I had one that was this bad before. Let's start with size, which was the only thing I liked about this sub. I ordered a large and it was a very large sub. I think the sauce was good, but I can't be sure because it hardly had any sauce on it. The cheese was non existent, and the meatballs, I have no words. They had this funny taste to them, they were all dried out, and they were a weird color on the inside. I can't even call them meatballs because these weren't meatballs, but some meat like substance. Now I don't know if this sandwich tasted like this because it was an hour until closing, or if this is how the sandwiches always taste, but it shouldn't matter when you order it. I ordered a meatball parm and that is what I should have received, even if I ordered it at 10:59pm. I will never try this place again. If they can't even make a decent meatball, I don't want to waste my time and money finding out what else they can't make right.

Try the stromboli here , great sauce. Nice people behind the counter, good beer selection to go.
