This seems pretty weird to say, but go for the chips! They are so much more flavorful than what I have had at other Mexican places. I had just a basic chicken and cheese quesadilla, but you can not go wrong with that. We also ordered a big chicken burrito and a few tacos which were also outstanding. GO QDOBA! That is superb Mexican food!

I have always have good service here and it is usually not too busy. Even when it is busy the line moves quickly. The food is always fresh and delicious. In resposne to some other comments I want to say that noise in this type of place is common. Also, it should not be compared to a typical Mexican restaurant. It is primarily a burrito place. As far as Qdoba vs. Chipotle, I have to give the nod to the Dobe. As other commentors have noted they have much more and better options, most notably the queso and chili bbq sauce. The salsas are better and the meat is usually less dry. If given the option between the two I will go with Qdoba 100% of the time.

The staff works hard to keep a large menu hot and ready for long lunch lines. Lots of choices, everything is tasty. Especially the hand-crafted guacamole and the jalapeño red sauce on a ground beef queso burrito!

I have been there 4 times and every time they get my order wrong. I ordered online tonight and they didn't even know that I placed an order when I arrived. When they finally looked at my order (veggie tacos and veggie quesadillas) both ended up having chicken on it. Bottom line, be prepared to waste time there getting your order correct, when they get it right, of course it's delicious.....just frustrating when you get it home and the order is all wrong time and time again. Next time it's chopotle for me.

I go here often. The food is always good, but sometimes the customer service is almost sub-par. This has not made me dislike the food and I still go here, just an observation of mine. It seems sometimes that there are new people that may not have finished training, and sometimes the employees can be somewhat unpleasant. Just depends on the day I guess, but overall it's good enough for me.

Totally standard Qdoba with the perks of having ample seating and being located in a pretty decent shopping area. Mmmm queso...

Ehh, it's alright I guess. My gold standard for this type of place is Chipotle, and Qdoba falls a bit short. Ingredients are decent, but not quite as fresh and flavorful. If ordering tacos, you get 2 instead of 3 at Chipotle. They're a little bigger at Qdoba, but don't seem to be as filling as Chipotle's 3. Chipotle has better salsa, IMO. With a Chipotle only about 3 minutes away, I don't see any reason to go here instead. Well, the only reason may be if you are going for lunch around noon during the week, and don't want to deal with the almost-out-the-door line at Chipotle. Qdoba never seems to have that long of a line.

people always compare qdoba to chipotle but they're totally different. yeah they make similar food but you can't really compare the two. chipotle is great for super healthy, all natural food but qdoba is awesome for every night taco night. not to mention chipotle doesn't have queso and qdobas is the best I've ever had. LOVE

I heard about this place when raving about Chipotle, which just opened up around the corner at almost the same time this place opened up. The votes were very divided between people who liked Chipotle better versus Qdoba better. I have to say at the end of the day, Chipotle edged Qdoba out. Qdoba was a bit noisier and busier. The food was a tiny bit less fresh and a good step or two less flavorful. The good news is that I am a big spice wuss, so Qdoba didn't hurt me, but there was also no flavor. Sad. The guacamole was especially not flavorful, it was almost like avocado baby food. The tauted queso sauce was so-so. It was at about the same level as Frito-Lay's queso sauce out of the jar heated up. But the burritos were almost as large, and I think a tiny bit cheaper.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
