Stopped in tonight before class and grabbed some chips and salsa. The salsa was freshly chopped tomatoes and onions with the normal fixings. It was awesome.

Fresh and homemade-tasting Mexican food! I never feel guilty after eating here like I do at other Mexican restaurants. My favorite thing to get is the special chicken taco salad with the house dressing. During the semester I eat it at least once a week! Keep it up guys. It's always so pleasant and he staff is super friendly. I love the guy that cooks with the mustache and the lady with he glasses especially!!

Lowering my review due to the false information provided in owner's response. That qualifies as service in my book. There's no reason for me to lie about the price on Yelp, that's why Yelp was created. The price went up to $7.99 when I added guac and sour cream, so there was no savings as mentioned. Regardless of the lies on the price, I wouldn't go back here even if it was free. Read how many people actually threw their food away before finishing it because it was so disgusting. Good luck, Burrito Loco.

The customer service and friendliness alone will make you want to come back, reasonable prices as well, and it's always good to stop by on taco Tuesday

Great food great prices and very nice man the guy in the kitchen who is always there always makes the burritos with a smile and is always in a good mood I have never not seen him there even when they used to open at 2am I hope the owners are nice to him and send him on a vacation one day

Burrito Loco is by far my favorite Mexican spot. The people who work there are awesome, the freshly made hot sauce and pico de gallo are delicious. Bonus: it's a BYOB. Even though I have long since graduated from WCU, I always make it a point to come back tp BL!

Love this concept of stop in go and never have to scroll in with a scroller! Breakfast burritos are wonderful. Love that it's kid friendly and they love the smoothies..yum

Holy burrito batman! If you are in the mood for a huge burrito, stop here. The food is delicious, but be sure you know they hit you for extras on anything you add (jalepenos etc). Writing this has me wanting one right now ..

had the chic and steak burrito. By the time I was 1/4 through it I had to toss the rest and four days later I am still paying the price..... thanks burrito loco!!!! keep cutting those corners!

Yeah, I went to WCU. But had I not, Burrito Loco would still be a favorite of mine. Every single time I visit the Dub C, I drop by Burrito Loco. And because I visit so rarely these days, I often forget. I forget how pleasantly surprised I am when the friendly staff tells me the total for my order. I actually feel bad paying so little. I forget how FRESH it is. As I savor that first bite, that's always the word that pops into my head. FRESH. I think they have access to some sort of terrestrial wormhole that allows them pluck ingredients from SoCal on-the-fly. I forget how good I feel after a meal there. It's the antithesis of the feeling you get after chowing on a twenty-piece at Mickey's. You feel like you ate something very fresh, very affordable, very healthy, and very satisfying. This is clean food. Feeling all that after a meal is rare. But that's what Burrito Loco is. It's all that. My children also love the local-produced ice creams they sell there. They're uniquely flavorful for frozen ice cream. Damn. I wish I was there now.

The best! I ate at B Loco at least twice a week when I was an undergrad and whenever I am in the area I always try to stop in and grab a bite. The staff still knows who I am and how I like my order, and it's been almost 4 years since I've graduated. Everything is fresh and tasty. My favorite is the Vegi Nachos Special, its only $6 something and enough food to split for two you cannot beat that price for the amount of food you get! I love B Loco because it's not the same greasy food you get at other off campus eateries I just wish they had their old hours. Back in the day they used to be open super late which was ideal for those late night weekend munchies. If you are in the area you HAVE to try B Loco.

Great option close to campus! Excellent customer service, clean, great food! The medium burrito is the perfect lunch size.

Cheap. You get a good amount of burrito or taco (TACO TUESDAYS anyone?) for your money, and the burritos are made to order. It can get a bit crowded at certain times from the college crowd, but there's always the outside patio. One thing nobody's seemed to mention: their Mexican fruit popsicles are out of this world.

While the portions are large don't expect much meat. When I ordered regular steak nachos there was only enough meat to put a small cube on each chip. The order was mostly black beans, tomato and cheese. I paid for steak and barely got any. I would have been better off ordering just a burrito, it was cheaper too.

Sorry folks it's not real Mexican food! Maybe for WCU students it is, but they think WAWA is real as well.

If you are a West Chester student and you haven't been to Burrito Loco, you aren't a West Chester student. It's right across from campus so you can't even complain about it being too long of a walk. Also, it's cheap, has student deals, and accepts rambucks. I really don't think you could go wrong. To be fair, the food is just alright. I am personally not a huge fan of their burritos, but then again, I don't like burritos. Their tacos are just tacos. Their quesadillas, however, are a force to be reckoned with. You'll want to order a cheese quesadilla with salsa and guac INSIDE. It's the most delicious thing that they make and its really fun to say "guac." Also, it's a great friend meet-up spot. It's relaxed, plus they have an eating challenge that you can convince your friends to try. Hilarious. CONCLUSION: a WCU classic with delicious quesadillas quality: pretty good price: VERY acceptable :)

I really enjoyed the food, which was significantly less than chipotle. I love that place too, but I think I have a new burrito place.

I like Burrito Loco's food better than any of the other Mexican restaurants around. It's fresh, it's simple, it's good. My only complaint is their limited business hours. They close are closed on Sundays and also close or shorten their hours more during University vacations.

Burrito Loco -was- an excellent burrito shop, ten years ago when it opened. Now it's, well, blah. They stopped caring about the quality of their ingredients, and are willing to dump a spoonful of beans with all the "juices" into your burrito, and the last few times I went had been very stingy with the portions of the "important stuff" (i.e. beans, meat and cheeses.) The ownership hasn't changed, and the same mexican dude still works crazy hours behind the counter as he always did, I just get the feeling that they figured out that it didn't matter how good (or bad) they were, they were just so damn close to the college that people would come. Sadly, they're right. I would love to give them a better review, because I have fond memories of trying to shove a gordo steak burrito in my yam as a younger man, but having seen the quality of food slide, and with the knowledge that there are better burritos to be had, I can't do it.

We have been going here for 10 years... at least (1-2 times a month, sometimes more). It's locally owned, and operated. If you go in wanting a burritto or taco, your in for a good treat. This is not a full service Mexican, it's a Burrito bar. That said, Get the chips and cheese. I love the Veg. Burrito and the chicken tacos. Taco Tuesday is AWESOME! You order, pick up, seating is good, and on a nice day, sit outside. Guac is good, nothing special, it's been fresh everytime I go, which is important.

Burrito Loco, which, unsurprisingly, specializes in Burritos, is a favorite of the local West Chester University student body and post-bar crowd. And for good reason. The burritos are very good, made with fresh ingredients and a helping of TLC. Their guacamole is excellent though I usually order extra on my burrito to make sure it's guac-tastic. Their large burrito is about the size of my forearm and easily feeds 2 people. They have fountain drinks and some frillier alterna-beverages. Their decor is basic, about 10 tables with some outdoor patio seating which is nice when weather permits. The place is festooned with photos of patrons from over the years, many of them apparently intoxicated. All in all a great no-frills, high quality, tasty burrito. Located about 2 blocks from West Chester's premiere Dive Bar, Jake's: yelp.com/biz/jakes-bar-w…

Heard a lot about this place and decided I needed to take the drive to try it. Took me a while to find it but it was quietly tucked in behind a Papa Johns. Decided to go big or go home so I chose the Gordo the big boy 3 pounder. Finished it. Don't feel so good right now but damn I did it. OK really don't feel so good!!! Anyway the burrito was massive and the workers were cool but the only complaint I have is that the burrito tasted a little too much like the rice and the chicken was a little bland. Their sauce was actually really good but I was trying not to put any extras on my massive burrito loaf. next time I will kill it with that sauce.

I've been coming here since they opened and they still remain on my list to stop by and grab a bite to eat when I'm back in town. Cheap and good - it's just hard to tell when they are open.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
