I like everything about this place from the tack hanging on the walls to the portrait of War Admiral. The ribs and the onion rings were especially appreciated. The only bad thing is that, if you are passing through, you better have a cooler to tote away the remainder of the meal. We have been there four times and the service has been friendly and helpful. Fortunately it is on the "main drag" so you can find it easily, or just give it a try if you are an out-of-towner, you won't be disappointed.

There was only one server at lunch time on a monday. Lucky for her there were 4 tables tops seated at one time. They screwed up my order, I had ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap, no fries, with a house salad with Italian dressing. Instead they gave me fries and when I reminded her of my salad she brought me ranch dressing. Then when we went to pay our bill, she took our card and then came back to inform us there was a problem with their merchant machine. 3 stars was generous because the food was actually decent.

Been here several times - food is okay at best and overpriced. Beware - lots of up charges on the bill that aren't mentioned by wait staff.

I usually order takeout. I call and it rings forever , I call back and eventually someone answers . The crab dip is amazing! Service is ok. They definitely could use some customer service training . It's why I do takeout and do not dine in .

I wanted to like it but this restaurant stinks. We have has four horrible experiences both while dining in house and when getting take out. They are SUPER slow when you eat in which just doesn't work with children. There food has no flavor and you can tell that the "chef" just cut open a bag and poured your food into a fryer. There servers are never informed. The list the specials on the outdoor sign yet they don't know them. We won't be back.

The food is bland and boring. Sometimes it's just not good. Need to update the menu and maybe the cook. There is one exception. My husband and daughters love rib night.

I have to put 1 star, it wont allow me to leave it empty. I wanted to go there for my Fathers day dinner. We walk in around 6 pm. Greeted and seated right away. Hostess said a waitress would be right over. There were only 5 or 6 tables filled in the place. We waited for about 20 minutes and no one came to our table. A server walked by our table 4 times and i saw them look over at us. We got up and just walked out. Will never be back there again.

I was excited to try this restaurant. They are very present on Facebook, and often post specials throughout the week. On this particular evening, Rolling Mill's Facebook status advertised that all appetizers were half-off. In addition, there was a good football game on, so I figured it'd be a perfect night to stop by and give the restaurant a try. I was so disappointed. We ordered the crab dip appetizer, which was absolutely terrible and overpriced. If you've ever eaten quality crab dip down in Baltimore, you'll definitely know what I'm talking about. Rolling Mill's idea of crab dip is canned crab mixed with cream cheese, topped with about a cup of Old Bay. No thanks. Our entrees were too bland to even mention. The service was insultingly slow. There were about FIVE people in the entire restaurant, and nobody seemed to care for the Redskins/Ravens football game that was playing on a small TV by the bar. The waitress had an attitude when I asked for a drink from the bar. I ordered a Jack and Pepsi (no Coke here), and I must say--I did not taste any Jack! When we were ready for the check, the snotty waitress's attitude became sickeningly sweet--somebody wanted their tip. I found it tacky and, frankly, embarrassing. Oh, and remember that 1/2 priced appetizer special I mentioned earlier? Yeah, the waitress rang our appetizer up as full priced. That was the last straw for me. This place was a waste of time and money.

Mill Turkey sandwich is awesome. I enjoyed the mushroom and swiss burger as well.

Just returned from an early dinner and could not be more disappointed. When we arrived we were the only two customers (this was acknowledged by the staff). We were told to sit anywhere and found the table to be dirty. Order placed for crab dip for two and sandwiches. Crab dip was delivered and apparently the "for two" part means the total amount of pieces of crab meat. Had hardly had time to start on the crab dip when the sandwiches were served. Waitress used said sorry but since we were the only people in the place the food came out fast. This is sign of poor kitchen/order management. I ordered a fish sandwich which was described as coming with a side of tartar sauce. Sandwich was delivered without any sauce and it took 5-7 minutes to get the attention of the waitress. When I asked for tartar sauce the reply was, we don't have any tartar sauce but we have something that taste like it. Meals were finished and the two waitresses were standing around talking and quite a few minutes passed before one of then returned to our table and we asked for the check. After delivering the check the waitresses returned to talking and nearly 10 minutes passed before one of them returned to handle the check payment. Needless to say based on the quality of food and poor service will not be returning and will not be recommending this business to anyone.

We have been here twice and were very pleased with the juicy burgers,and delicious steaks. Fries hot fresh which were perfect.Service and atmosphere were good. My only criticism is the fried green beans are tasteless and seemed like a waste of a side.Highly recommend if you are visiting the Gettysburg area.
