The owner is so lovely and I wish I could review this place on her and her alone. If I could, this place would be a 5. But I can't, so let's talk food. We ordered take out at 7:45 pm on a Saturday night -- there was only one table when I went in to order and pick up. Usually I don't review places I've only been to once -- I am making an exception here because it's directly across the street from a hotel -- if you stay there, this is probably a place you'll consider (which was our situation). Chicken Pad Thai -- easily the worst dish I've ever paid for at a restaurant. The whole thing was so dry -- the noodles and chicken were seriously overcooked. The taste was so off putting, I don't even know how to describe it. Something in the dish tasted rancid -- similar to spoiled milk. The peanuts tasted chalky. I don't know how that's possible - like the oil in the nuts was completely dry. We threw it away after a couple bites. 0/5 -- just horrendous -- imagine left over Pad Thai that was forgotten about in your fridge for about two weeks. That's what we got. Spicy Sesame Ginger Chicken was better -- we at least ate it, but not nearly as flavorful as we hoped. It was kind of one note mild spice sauce and bland chicken, veggies, and rice. I'd give it 2/5. I didn't taste any ginger. Sesame seeds weren't toasted and had I not seen them, wouldn't have known they were there. We got an order of chicken tenders and fries for our 3 year old (I am embarrassed to write that, but when traveling we don't have her experiment with new foods). They were definitely were from a bag, but whatever, I wouldn't have expected more. We were just glad they were cooked properly and tasted good cause we were picking at them too, 3/5 Vegetarian Spring Rolls were homemade (I saw them in Ziploc bags) and the BEST part of the meal. They were fried perfectly and the veggies were still crisp. 4/5 So, yeah. I probably would not order here next time we're in the area. But you know, maybe we had a random bad experience or something. I know the person helping was very new, maybe that explains it? The lady was very, very nice, I'd hate to dissuade anyone from trying it --- but I also cannot recommend it because that Pad Thai was so terrible.

It's definitely a "hit-or-miss" type of restaurant. My best experiences are with the fresh, homemade summer rolls and the homemade kim-chi stew. These dishes are super tasty. However, I've experimented with some of the other dishes on the menu and I've been seriously disappointed. Honestly, this menu is just WAY too expansive for all the dishes to be good.

the best asian food you will find in this area - and no warmer, friendlier hostess than ms. jade. thai tea - out of this world and the kim chee is fabulous. you will not be disappointed, i promise! :)

Here's the place to get your Pho fix... very Yummy!. Some of the best Thai & Vietnamese food in the ti-state area. I highly recommend the Curries or Satay. Fresh, flavorful, & plentiful portions. Jade is a sweetheart too :)

Cute mom and pop place that specializes in Thai,Japanese, Vietnamese and Korean Style Cuisine. The prices are reasonable and the service was fantastic. I ordered the Pho, and it was delicious, I look forward to trying other items on the menu. I will definitely be coming back here!

My wife and I have lunch there about once a month. We would go there just for the company of Jade the owner, who is basically a one-person show. She is genuinely warm and caring (Alert: if you are put off by religious displays this may not be the place for you; she openly promotes Christianity). We have tried only a few of the dishes as I am stuck mostly on the Pho or Tom Phoon, so I can't validate some of the other reviewers negative comments of the menu as a whole. I can say that we have never been disappointed in anything we have had. Piping hot food served in generous portions. And Ms. Jade always seems to have something a little extra for us to try.
