Hands down best sandwich place around, plus a lot of other excellent lunch/dinner takeout options. Their array of Italian hoagies far surpasses everyone else who just have an "Italian Hoagie" on the menu. In most servings, I am usually surprised by the quality and amount of ingredients. The hot breaded chicken sandwiches are very solid and substantial. Here are some of my favorites: Tuscan Chicken: chicken cutlet, sun-dried tomatoes, melted provolone, EVOO Chicken Cordon Bleu: chicken cutlet stuffed with ham, American and swiss cheeses, with spicy honey mustard on a croissant. (The amount of ham is also substantial, I always ask for mustard on the side, but its good mustard) Tredici dip: roast beef, caramelized onions, melted swiss, au jus and horseradish cream sauce Roast Beef Caesar: roast beef, bacon, our homemade Caesar dressing, reggiano on garlic bread (To die for, high quality roast beef) They also have some great daily specials they post on their Facebook page, which I review daily and make special trips sometimes. They also have a boutique Italian grocery store inside for your hard-to-get items. Biggest issue is parking, its right on Lancaster Ave/Route 30 near Margaret Kuo's in Wayne and its tough to find street parking or parking in Louella Court. Parking enforcement seems to be substantial too. Bring quarters for the meter because Wayne doesn't do "nickels and dimes" in their meters, even if you are stopping purely for a 5 minute pickup.

You don't find markets like Tredici often. I've tried at least 20 of their sandwiches, and haven't been disappointed! Their prepared meals are to die for- try the chicken pot pie. For $7, you can't have a better lunch anywhere.

This is a great little market and take out spot. They have a selection of salads and sandwiches and a small deli case with different pastas and antipasti items and they also have lunch meats. It's super convenient to grab a lunch salad and then some pasta or sides to take home for dinner. I usually don't buy drip coffee and theirs is pretty good. My favorite part is the market of specialty Italian items (nice evoo's, pastas, crackers, cooking ingredients, sauces etc.). Great little cookies and chocolates too. Oh and everyone is always super friendly!

I own a window treatment showroom in Wayne and have been told by several customers and friends to try this place. Well I just did. Very very good food! I had the porchetta sandwich w sharp provolone and broccoli rabe. It was one of the best I've ever had. If your in Wayne, you gotta try this place!!!

Delicious sandwiches (try the fresh mozzarella or banana and Nutella) and fresh prepared foods made with high quality ingredients make this a great place to grab lunch (take-out) and then bring something home for dinner. Fast, friendly service makes Tredici a spot not to be missed in Wayne.

LOVE IT! The Honey Wrap (which is honey turkey, brie, cucumbers, mixed greens and honey mustard) is my favorite, but I heard the meatballs are out of this world! This wrap is delicious.

This is a delightful little specialty shop but I like their sandwiches. Holy smokes - the Porketta - delicious. Pork loin, prosciutto, sharp prov, pancetta - definitely add the brocolli rabe. So good. Their other specialty sandwiches are equally to die for. They just moved to Lancaster Ave. I have not been to the new location, but I am sure the food has not suffered.

This place is awesome. They are really nice people and food is incredible. It is a small italian market and deli and the food is absolutely delicious. I am so glad I found this place and i could not recommend them enough. You will not be disappointed!

In addition to the Italian market, the sandwiches and salads are excellent. I enjoyed my Super Italian. The sopressata and prosciutto were pretty good, but the bread really made it work. I can't wait to start working my way through their menu.

Amazing little deli shop! It's family owned, which I'm all about; their selection is delicious and unique, and you couldn't ask for better tasting food. I especially love their "Eggplant Special" sandwich -- it's delicious! I also like that they carry a lot of pastas, sauces, and pre-cooked frozen meals. They come in handy when guests come to visit unexpectedly, or when you're too tired to cook something after a long day of work. Prices are a tad high, but not too unreasonable. The guy manning the checkout counter could also benefit from smiling every now and then...haha...he always seems too tense. But overall, definitely deserves 5 stars.

Stop in on the weekend for the roast pork sandwich. Thank me later. It will not disappoint. Wash it down with a Mexican Coke. Grab some canned San Marzanos, maybe some evoo, some homemade sauce and you're golden.

Incredible sandwiches. And great people. Everyone at work orders from here quite often and despite the place always being busy our food never takes longer than 20 minutes. Between us we have tried many different sandwiches but there seem to be two favorites. Turkey Asiago is great But the real deal only happens Friday and Saturdays: Pepe's Porketta! Pork loin and I get get mine "stuffed" with broccoli rabe, roasted peppers and long hots! Just an incredible sandwich! Thankfully it isn't everyday or I might be fatter!

Probably one of the best places for lunch in Wayne. I challenge you to find a bad sandwich on their menu.

I stopped in here for the first time today and picked up some sandwiches. The #1 was excellent, high quality prosciutto with a very fresh roll. The service was attentive, and I will definitely be back regularly.

You have to love a job in the burbs that affords you copious opportunities to try out a ton of local restuarants. A paycheck is great. Friendly and effective co-workers are superb. Good benefits, absolutely... but the work-lunch can either make or break your day when you decide not to brown-bag it. Well, Wayne, PA seems to be a suburban mecca for lunch spots, and I am quite happy to have tried Tredici today. When two coworkers stop by your desk to say your lunch smells "like heaven", then you have found a place to return to. Tredici is a take-out only place in the back of a small italian grocer. NOTE: It's meats are Boars Head, not imported from Italy. They make a number of their own hot numbers and sides. I had the meatball parm today, and found the meatballs to be fresh and flavorful, though it lacked enough sauce for my taste. It had melted mozz, prov and parm cheeses for some extra flavor profiles, but I lost a lot of that on the wrapper. The chip selections were good: Pop Chips,, Route 66 chips, Dirty Chips. Sodas: coke products, and (drumroll)......... SanPellegrino flavored sodas. That made me as happy as Cupid at a nudist beach (in honor of Valentine's Day).

Visit this place often when I'm in town. My favorite sandwich is their chicken parm! While waiting, the market is fun to walk around and view the Italian food items.

I love this place! I am all about good Italian food and supporting the little guy and this place is amazing. I've gone here a few times and it is a small Italian store that sells many of the best Italy has to offer. Many times you forget about the many things Italians have grown up to enjoy like different pastas, different coffees and different meats and cheeses. This place has some of the best and is good. If you are looking for some good high quality meats/cheeses and actual Italian goodies then i highly suggest you stop in the area.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
