We went to Pietro's for lunch. It was our first time, and we dined indoors. We built our own pizza and were very pleased with the outcome. The ingredients, including the dough, were very good quality. For dessert we tried the tiramisu, which was fantastic. I look forward to going to Pietro's again.

Pros: I love the ambience of this place! The cheesy ravioli was delicious and very beautifully done (as you can see from the picture I put up). The chocolate gelato desert was also very tasty. Cons: The only weird thing was that even though there were only a handful of people in the whole restaurant, it took 30 minutes for someone to come to our table after we were seated. We had to actually flag someone down to come wait on us or ask us what we wanted to drink. Final Thoughts: After we finally flagged someone down (which took another 10 minutes as some waiters seemed to be downright ignoring us) the service was ok though. I'm glad we decided to stay and didn't just walk out at that point because we did have a nice experience after that whole strange ordeal. Overall I would definitely recommend this place! I can't wait to go back and try one of their signature artisan pizzas.

Ok...we went on a Saturday night with a reservation for 5 kids and 4 adults. They honored the reservation and we were seated on time. That's pretty much all the positive you get. Well also I guess that the acoustics stink and you can't hear above the chatter in the restaurant but that is great when you have 5 kids. The food and service are just mediocre. The waiter was so handcuffed and it was not his fault. So you can't blame them. It's really the kitchen and the management. Short and sweet: the soup was cold; they were out of at least 2 things on a Saturday night; the food took forever to come out and when it did, not a single dish came out together; we all ate in shifts; every dish was just ok. Not a single thing would be considered good. Frankly, you can miss this place. The atmosphere is nice but if the food was just a bit better I could fathom going here. Take a pass and eat a frozen pizza and some home Made pasta.

I am a big fan of the pietros in center city and on south street and I was so excited to see that a location opened on the main line. I ordered takeout salads for lunch pretty frequently - their insalata mista is fabulous - and their pizza is similar to the pizza at the other locations. the last time I ordered a salad I went to pour dressing on it and almost started to eat when I saw two big live stink bugs sitting and moving around in the lettuce. it was absolutely sickening. I'm not sure if the lettuce was just not washed or if there are bugs in their kitchen or what exactly happened but I will never order from this restaurant again. such a disappointment.

Had a 7pm reservation for 4. Arrived on time. Sat immediately. Left after 30 minutes having received 2 glasses of water for a table of 4, and NOTHING ELSE. Asked repeatedly for a server, and no one ever came. I did call and speak to the manager the next, day and he was apologetic. I may be willing to give the place another try because he was so nice. If I do, I will review again. Update: I received a generous gift card from the manager after our conversation. I will likely give them another try and re-review. Added 1 star manager's courtesy.

Four of us went for lunch. We were greeted immediately by a friendly staff person and shown to a table. We all had sandwiches: chicken parm, meatball and sausage and pepper. We all had the same thought. Very little meat on the roll. There were only three little rounds of sausage on each half of my sandwich. The sandwiches were mostly bread. We didn't try the pizza which another patron said was very good. The three stars are for the service

Despite the name, Pietro's does more than pizza- they've got about 10 (each) pasta and salad entrees as well as a few chicken entrees. On the liquid side, in addition to a number of wines and an ok selection of beers there are about 6 or so specialty cocktails featured front and center on the menu. I decided to give one of the cocktails a try (the "headbanger"- OJ, limoncello, and vodka). It was big, decently strong, and good. The appetizers feature two different types of calamari- the traditional fried calamari plus a "spicy" fried calamari and sausage tossed in a marinara sauce. I decided to be adventurous and give the latter a try- it was great and I'm happy I did. The sauce was really good and proportionate to the amount of calamari (not too much or too little). The sausage slices scattered throughout gave an interesting twist and livened up an appetizer that has become pretty cliche elsewhere. If you're not a big spicy food fan don't let the name scare you away- the heat was pretty mild. For my entree, I decided to try the clam linguini special, which turned out to be a little disappointing. There were a decent amount of clams, but the linguini dominated and it was just a really bland and boring dish. My dining companion tried the Siciliana salad which he found just ok. Although maybe it is our fault for ordering salad and pasta at a place that has only pizza in its name! Overall it was a decent visit and I will definitely give it another try soon- although on the next visit I think I will stick to a pizza instead of salad or pasta.

Had the Gluten Free bolognese. It was delicious. Best gluten free pasta I've ever had. Outstanding. Generous portions! We ate outside. Wonderful meal. The vibe of this restaurant is worth mentioning too. Very friendly staff -- very relaxed but efficient atmosphere. A true pleasure. Our group also had pizza and tried the truffle french fries (quite good). On a late August weekday afternoon, easy to get a table and quiet. Outdoors lots of fun. This was a recommendation from a family with students at Villanova (which is very close by). Thank you! I am paying this recommendation forward. Great restaurant. Excellent.

We enjoyed our meal. We had salad and pizza and both were very good. Service was very good. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Hostess and manager were also on top of things. My only complaint was they didn't have any of the beers on the menu. I decided to have a glass of wine instead.

May have gone there for our last time yesterday. Valentine's Day was our 2nd shot at this Italian restaurant. Both times there were food problems. Salt is a BIG issue there. Way too much salt on several items including the grilled chicken, and appetizer's meatball sauce. The pizza is good! Unfortunately, when ordered without basil sprinkled on top, the pizza cook didn't bother to read/apply that request. When we complained about the chicken being way over the top salty, did a manager come over to check on us??? No.......maybe they just don't care. Wife ate hardly any of her salad, and didn't ask for it to go - isn't that one hell of a red flag as to customer liking an entree? Didn't matter, nobody gave a crap. Bye

I really love this place. I do mostly take out food because it gets crowded in there later in the day. The pizza is amazing as is. You don't even need to add anything to it. But if you do, it's still good. All ingredients are fresh and delicious. Best pizza around here. I don't care the cost. Speaking of cost, it is true that the items here are a few dollars more then other areas but you will not be disappointed. I have sat in for lunch once and it was a pleasant experience. Service was friendly and on point. Any time I have ordered take out the manager walks me right up to where I get my food and ring out and makes sure I'm taken care of. It doesn't hurt that he is an attractive man. Very professional and gets me in and out. I don't know his name. I just call him tall, dark and handsome. The smoked Mozzarella is to good to be true. The flavor is so good. I have no choice but to order them every time because I can not resist. Risotto balls are A plus. I really liked the stuffed meatballs but I think they should throw two more in there but the flavor was worth it. The Caesar salad is large and filling. I added shrimp and was not disappointed. I have also had the Spaghetti and meatballs, Salmon, Rigatoni Bolognese and Rigatoni Alla Vodka. What they all had in common is having a fresh and flavorful taste. This is a great place to go for Italian food in the area. I would not pass it up. Also want to mention that the delivery woman named Maryanne is very nice. This place employees great staff and that's important.

Casual dining at its best! We have eaten at the bar several times since we moved here in January. Stella in Stella glasses, Peroni in Peroni glasses, a good start! Michelle is an excellent, attentive bartender. She really hustles; please tip accordingly. Favorites are pasta fagioli, mista salad, rigatoni bolognese, chicken parm. Salad and entrees big enough to split. Outdoor dining available on the quiet side of the parking lot. Great value. Delicious food. Friendly service. Glad to have this option close by.

Megaphone to the kitchen staff: When management chooses to list the ingredients one by one on the menu, make sure you include them in the freakin;' dish!!!!! Mother of dog!!! The "Florentine" salad lists fresh spinach, pine nuts, golden raisins, croutons and Gorgonzola cheese, in a sherry orange vinaigrette. There was NO Gorgonzola cheese NOR pine nuts in the salad served to us. NOTTA! Also, there was absolutely very little flavor in the dressing, you could have fooled me that there was anything orange or sherry flavored in it. We were not off to a good start. My gorgeous blonde dining partner for the evening, one of the few intelligent blondes I know, and I also split the gnocci appetizer in a browned butter sauce. The gnocci had a nice sear on them, but they were very mushy and had NO taste whatsoever. Good thing there were sundried tomatoes and pancetta in the dish, the couple of things which actually had their own flavor to tickle the tongue. The pizza was very very good. We ordered the "Frankie" artisanal pizza with spicy pork sausage, sundried tomato, pesto, tomato sauce, basil & mozzarella. It had a great thin crust and excellent meld of flavors. Let me give that pizza 4 stars for that area of the burbs. Service was there, not helpful, just there. I will return for the pizza/beer/wine and nothing else. Maybe takeout will accomplish the same thing.

Great pizza. Not so great service. High school kids with little clue as to what is good service. High quality food but I HATE it when they clear the plates before everyone is done. We had a large party and one of the entrees did not come out until everyone else was almost finished. Nice place that is really noisy. But it is a pizza place after all.

Love the Pietro's in Philly and was so excited to see this addition to the Main Line. Unfortunately, despite advertising being open until 11 pm on the weekends, we came in on Friday night a little after 10, with a reservation on Open Table for 10:30 and were told the restaurant was closed! They should really update their website and Open Table listings! Not good for a new business.

Just had take-out from Pietro's Radnor and what a tremendous disapointment!! Florentine salad was as bland as can be with stale croutons, a bunch of spinach, shredded carrots and tomatoes and some kind of cheese that we couldn't figure out what it was since it had no taste. Sicilian salad had non-pitted olives. Pizza was cold, & bland. Stay away. A waste of a trip.

I frequent the Pietro's brick oven pizzerias and Pietro's Radnor is one of my favorite! Pietro's Radnor provides a fun atmosphere where you can find your favorite beer pizza and pasta! They have some cool new additions to their menu which I can't wait to try, but, as ever, their pizza is second to none! I'm so glad they brought this chain to the Main Line, to achieve to food diveristy in the region and a fun night out to dinner! Really you can't go wrong with any pizza option on the menu, the calamari is amazinggg my mouth waters just when I think of how good it was! The stuffed meatballs and the risotto balls are sososo good and a must try! Pasta is out of this world, I mean really, its worth every single calorie, I don't know how they do their pasta so good but its addicting!! Enjoy!!

Your typical loud eating experience. I'm so frustrated by these eating places, I can't hear the waiter or anyone you are with. They must all talk to each other about how to build a place that has loud seating. Pretty good food, a little pricey. I'll never go back but visit yourself and decide. Not my kind of place.

I had been to the Philly location years ago so I was really excited to try the one in Radnor. Our server Lisa told us that they've been open for 5 months. Our table for 8 was ready. It was very loud. To even speak to the person across the table from me, I had to basically lean on the table to hear. The bread was OK - burnt in many spots. We started with the meatballs which were hot (temperature) and good. My husband assembled a pizza for us with pancetta, smoked mozzerella, and sun dried tomatoes. The other couple did the same. The kids had the fried mozzerella and ravioli from the kids' menu. It is odd that they do not offer a kids' pizza on the kids' menu (only the fried mozzerella, pasta, and ravioli). The portion sizes seemed fine - not too huge. The pizza was soggy. The crust seemed to be having a hard time holding up the toppings. It was just OK. Our server Lisa was pleasant to begin with but then seemed to be really rushing us by the end of our meal. In fact, she was clearing plates while several people were still eating. I started feeling like we were inconveniencing her by finishing our dinner. With so many other great options in our area, I do not think we will return to Pietro's. I also would not recommend it to anyone. I had read on previous reviews that even entering the place is confusing since there are so many glass doors as you approach the restaurant. There is a yellow awning area that seems very temporary and makes a loud door slam when you do finally find it to enter.

This was our first time there. We sat at the bar. I hate sitting at the bar and we do not get the same service as if we had sat at table. We had the calamari and the stuffed meatballs for appetizers. The meatballs were cold. The calamari was good. The portion sizes were large. We shared a salad and a pasta dish. They charge you for bread and we had to ask for it also and they gave us only three small pieces. We could not even have two each! The bartender was nice but she had a couple next to us she obviously knew and they had much better service then we did. They had everything they needed--bread, oil, cheeses, etc. We had nothing. The women's room was very clean! It was ok but we probably will not be back.

Not even close to the Pietro's on Walnut Street in Center City. First of all, way too many little kids. Screaming, running around inside and out, and typhoid like coughing.(Interesting side note: There have been 8 cases of whooping cough identified at Radnor High School.) Ewwwww. The waitress was efficient, but a little curt. The bread is good...toasted. The atmosphere is nice, but if you like the Pietro's in center city, this place will be a huge disappointment. But if you looking for a step up from a McDonalds with an indoor playground, this place may fit the bill.

Really great pizza- crust was crunchy, light and airy. Fresh hot bread while you wait. Terrific salads. Make a reservation on weekends but sitting at the bar was great without one. Will definitely be back. Finally a good pizza in Radnor!!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We love Pietro's! Something for everyone. Delicious pizza, large salads, pasta and fish. Great for the family and friendly service. Perfect new neighborhood restaurant!
