This is a little hidden gem--- hiding in plain sight. Unbeknownst to me, it sits right on the main street in Wayne- on North Wayne Avenue, surrounded by trendy, upscale restaurants. I was taken there for a belated birthday dinner with family and had a reservation for 6. Upon arriving, we were told that they did not see our reservation anywhere in their books. One of the folks in my party had talked to the owner the day before and made the reservation. You see, the owner had to take off unexpectedly that evening and so no one could verify it with her. Grrrrrrrrr...... So....here we go. If you have ever been here, you know that the restaurant cannot hold a table of 4 or more. But wait --there is a secret room in the back and the person in charge opened the room just for us (Yay!) but the room was not prepared yet for the party of 6 (Boo!). I kept praying to the birthday gods that this was going to turn out okay.... And the gods were smiling on me. After a rocky start, the evening turned out pretty nice. We had the whole room to ourselves, complimentary antipasto, complimentary wine (when we had finished off our bottle!) and a very nice server named Michael who really turned what could have been a disasterous event to an awesome birthday dinner. Oh and the food! Magnifico! Everything is homemade- pasta, gravy, meatballs, bread, desserts.... If you are looking for a nice Italian BYOB restaurant but nothing over the top, you should try this place. I think you will like it. Mangiare!!!!!

Down from NY to see Valley Forge Historical Park, we were looking for some good pasta for our family of four. We found it here at Paola's. Good food in a comfortable setting at the right price without having to wait at all. Brava Paola!

I've been having awesome luck with finding great food places on yelp this trip to Philadelphia. This place did not let me down. Among the group we had a meat lovers pie, mozz sticks, anti pasto salad, chicken parm, tiramisu and steak and cheese sub. Everything was really tasty and fresh...and prepared to pick up within 10 minutes on a Sunday night. I'd go back again if I lived closer.

My favorite place for pizza. Their Margarita pizza is the best! With a great crust, sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese and basil. The real taste of Italian pizza. They also make great white pizza, with garlic spinach and mushrooms. The owners are from Italy. Very friendly staff and good service. It is a family owned place and Paula is wonderful! We recently tried their Tiramisu dessert- the best I have ever had thus far! Definitely a must try!!

Visited for lunch of a few slices. Available selection was somewhat limited. One of two ordered slices was actually falling apart, with about 20% of underlying crust missing. They still served it without explanation, apology, or discount. Tables and bathroom not exactly clean, especially considering that it wasn't very busy. Staff was friendly (although careless) and slices tasted pretty good if you closed your eyes.

As a native New Yorker, this is my favorite pizza place in the Philly suburbs. Also, Paola and Mike are great people that show a genuine appreciation of your business. If you're in the mood for good non-pizza Italian food, Paola makes a great dish of pasta. Their non-pizza dishes are probably better than most sit down restaurants, and cheaper! Highly recommend.

When I order a pizza, there are three things I look for: crust, sauce, and toppings. Bravo puts out an OK crust, the sauce is acceptable, and the cheese is pretty standard pizza cheese. However, when I order black olives I expect the olives to be sprinkled on the pizza, not dumped on by the handful. On top of that, if the olives have come from a can (which mine most definitely did), then have the decency to rinse them off. The preservative taste of the olives ruined the flavor the pizza. There were so many of these disgusting chemically flavored nuggets that I ended up picking them off my pie. Sadly, the cheese had rubberized itself around many of the "olives" so that came off with them. I was splitting this pizza and we ended up tossing the last slice. I would be willing to give them another shot WITHOUT the "olives," but with Whole Foods right down the street putting a fresh, much healthier looking and tasting pizza, what's the point? I tried to support a local shop, but their pizza just didn't cut it.

Love this place. Good service, tasty pizza, and lots of choices. Parking can be a bear during lunch - but totally worth the walk! Get the Margherita Pizza, a bottle of iced tea, some tomato and mozzarella salad and enjoy your lunch. It is family owned straight from Italy (seriously). The real deal.

My friend recently moved to Wayne and we had lunch at this Italian Pizzeria. It was delicious Brick Oven Pizza. They have other Italian dishes, Salads that look delicious. I know we both want to return. The staff was friendly, restaurant clean.

It's a good place to grab a quick bite on your lunch break. I work in the area so it's convenient in the sense that I can walk there. The pizza is good but not the best I've had although it is the best in the area. The price is just crazy for the location. It's $3 for a plain slice and more for toppings and styles. The is a nice area to sit and eat but it fills up quickly so don't go there during the lunch rush.

Bravo is average middle of the road pizza. Better than your pizza hut or Pappa John's but certainly not on par with authentic New York or Napoli pies. They don't really do anything to make themselves stand out, but they really don't have to since the main line certainly not a cheese steak or pizza destination. Their most loyal clientele consists of Radnor and Conestoga high school guys who like to rock the main line yuppie mullet like it's 1988 making for an amusing people watching experience as you consume your average food.

Danan R.
The margherita pizza is decent here. The crust is thin and crispy and the sauce flavorful. It's not the best in the area but it is pretty good. Plus, they sell individual slices, which is handy if you want a quick bite while shopping in Wayne.

We LOVE Paola's!!! She has the BEST & most DELICIOUS pizza in Wayne! All of her food is DELICIOUS & made fresh daily! Her salads with grilled chicken are made fresh to order! I came here all the time when I was in high school. Big fan of the tomato and cucumber salad, the bread sticks, and the mushroom pizza. The woman who has been working here for years is so sweet. Not an upscale place, but good for a slice of pizza. And cheap!

Bravo sits in a fun area of Wayne--right off Lancaster Ave, which can be pretty busy at the dinnertime hour, on a slightyl less busy street. Parking is still something to consider before 6:00 when you have to feed the meter, but all in all, it's still a good experience. The pizza is good. It's a little on the greasy side, but overall, good cheese, good sauce, good toppings, good crust. Good stuff, not excellent. The restaurant itself is very well maintained.

My boyfriend works in downtown wayne so we have tried a lot of the food places there. We stopped here for lunch a couple weeks ago. I just got a slice of pizza, it was pretty good but nothing outstanding. The slices were a little pricey but they are large which kinda makes up for it. The service was good. The interior of the place is very nice and looks way fancier than your typical pizza place.

My boy and I walked into this place during our annual trip to the town. We didnt have pizza though. We opted to have a cheese steak and we were very happy with it. The meat was good and the cheese was good and it was the perfect level of greasy. Not too greasy but not dry. Very Yummy. The margarita pizza looked very good, but we didnt have any :( next time. I grew up in bloomsburg/berwick, PA where I believe hosts some of the best pizza in the state. Since I moved to South Jersey I've been searching every weekend for a great pizza. To my surprise I couldn't find one. Bland, standard ingredients. Sauce was boring, crust was ok. I tried this pizza this past weekend and finally, I found a place that serves up an amazing pie. Highly recommended!!

Neat little Italian pizza and pasta shop right in Wayne. They have quite a selection of Italian food, including stuffed peppers and lasagna, and I enjoyed a piece of pepperoni pizza and a tuna salad (just so I wouldn't feel so guilty eating the pizza). The proprietor is right on premises and knows most of the regulars, who seemed to be in a state of euphoria upon receiving their orders.

Fantastic! Small business feel with great service and delicious pizza. Fairly priced compared to other local pizzerias. Cannoli were also a great treat. Casual environment with nice decor. Order your pizza and they'll bring it to you. Highly recommend!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
