Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Well as the name of the business states, the crust on this pizza certainly is thin. But it was still pretty awesome! The pizza falls somewhere between traditional pizza and a flat-bread. The crusts are rolled into a thin long oval as opposed to a circle. Slices are cut off to order and flash warmed in the oven. the result is a crisp bite of heaven - the crust stays crisp and they don't over-do it with the toppings. One slice is plenty big to satisfy your appetite for lunch - maybe two slices for dinner or if you have a bigger appetite. There were more than a dozen topping pizzas to pick from and not your everyday mushroom, peperoni and onions. Think artisanal toppings like roasted veggies, prosciutto and caramelized onion. Very vegetarian friendly. If I recall correctly they had some selections with whole wheat crusts too. Nice selection of sodas and non-alcoholic drinks. Casual family-friendly atmosphere. Almost good enough to make the drive out to Wayne but I probably never will. But I will certainly make it a point to return if I am ever in the vicinity to return.

The first time I had Jules was during an office lunch. My manager seemed to order one of everything on the menu, and not one pie disappointed us. Everything was fresh and delicious, and I loved all the unique choices like edamame pizza. This is our go-to office pizza place and it is always a good day when we get it!

This is in a nice location, and the people who work here are very nice. The pizza on the other hand isn't to my liking. I found the crust to be very thin...as advertised, but soggy. The toppings were interesting, but the overall taste was lack luster. The portions are small.

Jules is great for lunch, or a light dinner. Obviously you should get more than one slice, unless you are a child. I appreciate that this location is always clean, and the kids they hire to work there are always pleasant and helpful.

Jules makes a really tasty pizza, one of our favorites in the area. The bbq chicken is fantastic and being all natural it doesn't hit your stomach as hard as regular pizza (for anyone who gets stomach aches/pains from standard pie crust you know how nice this is to find!). If I am not mistaken I also believe the Wayne, PA location is a BYOB too which you cannot beat!
(4)Andrew W.
Delicious pizza that's reasonably priced and free of all the unnecessary grease and carbs... Sign me up! They have a great selection including many vegan choices and several uncommon toppings. I love their commitment to using local and organic ingredients. The service was both fast and very friendly.

Pizzas were delicious. Quick service. Unusual if you're looking for "traditional" pizza, forget it. But if you want to think outside the box (pun intended), then give Jules Thin Crust a shot. The dine in experience is super casual. I haven't tried carry-out. We had two different pizzas, which turned out to be more than enough.

I have been a huge fan of Jules for years! So much so, that I would take trips to Doylestown and Newtown from West Chester just to have some! I love pizza, but I just don't have the metabolism to enjoy the traditional sort frequently. Jules allows me to enjoy pizza without the guilt and the grease!! The thin crust is just enough and they also offer gluten free crust. They always have lots of different flavors readily available and can make a whole pizza for dining in or takeout as well. I love how fresh and healthy all of their pies are, and I have to say I have never had a flavor I haven't liked! My absolute favorite is Kim's Pie. Roasted chicken, portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, mozzarella, balsamic BBQ sauce, and chives. YUM. They also have some tasty sounding salad options, but I love the pizza so much I've never sacrificed a pizza opportunity to try the salad. :-p The only thing I wish is some improvements/additions in seating. I wish they had some outdoor seating during the warmer months to take in the sights and people of Wayne, and the indoor seating is very limited. When it is really busy it can be hard to find a seat.

I have been twice, and perhaps I need to go a third time to sort out my feelings... but if pizza is like dating, than the connection is not necessarily there for me to go out on a third date. The pizza by the slice is fairly reasonably priced, the crust is super thin, and the toppings are fresh and solid. The toppings alone get 4 or 5 stars. The crust is thin, and not especially crisp the last time I went, so that a 1.5 star experience. They don't fill you up, and the prices are moderate. The ambience is sterile, IMO. I love the pic of the owner's kids, but there is little warmth besides that. The same goes for the associates - no warmth at all coming from their deadpan expressions. Food should be a fun experience, guys. Loosen up

Jules is super tasty and I definitely want to go back again! The ingredients seemed very fresh and their offerings were not so run of the mill. I enjoyed a unique slice of pie with artichoke hearts, chopped organic tomatoes, arugula, garlic, mozzarella, fresh cubed mozzarella, gorgonzola, & oregano that was really great. And when they say thin crust -- they mean thin! Also sampled the Goat Fiesta Salad. Who DOESN'T want to eat something with that name? Goat Fiesta? I'm there! It was very tasty -- but I did find their salad dressing offerings a bit lacking. Caesar, Balsamic Vinaigrette, & Ranch? Really? That's all? That Goat Fiesta would've been spectacular if they'd only had an offering with a sweeter twist, like Champagne Shallot or even a Raspberry Vinaigrette. You order at the back counter, but then grab a seat and the staff brings your slice when it's hot & ready. All in all though - yummy indeed!

This is one of the most refreshing spins on pizza that I have ever had. Organic, Fresh local ingredients on super thin, almost flat bread-ish pizza. They had many different kinds as well. We tried the BLT, the mexican-ish pizza, the typical pepperoni and sausage, and pepperoni pizza as well as 2 different salads. All amazing!! The pizza was around $3/slice which is not bad at all considering you are getting something out of the ordinary. This is not your local dive pizza joint. If you want something different, come here. We will def be back.

We are a gluten free family due to wheat/gluten allergies so finding a good gluten free pizza isn't easy. Many places serve GF pizza but rarely will you find a pizza crust and toppings as good as Jules. Their thin crust and creative toppings make this place a destination for our family. We have tried all of their vegetarian pizzas and love everyone one of them. Among our favorites are number 15 (butternut squash with caramelized onions, apples, ricotta, mascarpone, and mozzarella) and number 12 (edamame beans with mint, caramelized onions and goat cheese). Ingredients are organic and locally sourced, whenever possible and their is a board listing them all out. Our kids don't have a wheat/gluten allergy so order their regular crust. I have tried it and loved it. The biggest issue at Jules is figuring out what to get. Everything is just that good.

Very different, very good pizza with a healthy twist that is a clear hit in toney Wayne where the obesity epidemic is pretty much invisible. Their pies (if you can even call them that?) are long and rectangular with a very thin, crunchy crust. As others have mentioned, this might be more accurately described as flat bread. They specialize in organic, locally/sustainably-sourced ingredients and they also tend to go very light on the shredded mozz and anything else caloric or heavy. I'm not such a fan of their whole wheat crust (too dense and bready) and the white crust is so super thin anyway, it's not exactly a carb overload. What I do really like is their veggie options! There are a lot and all of those I've had have been great. "Pizza" done this way is an obvious fit for Wayne, where the majority of residents are total gym rats (my own parents included, no hate!) but my boyfriend and I also once ordered Jules to bring over to his parents house. They are a little less health-conscious and a little less "foodie" than I would expect the typical Jules enthusiast to be but the Cheese #1 (basically a plain pizza) and the Veggie #6 (artichokes, diced tomatoes, arugula, and cubed fresh mozz) were big hits with them so I'd venture to say it has a fair amount of "crowd pleaser" potential. Other pluses for Jules: it also looks like they're doing a gluten-free crust these days and you don't have to call ahead, you can walk in and order a "slice" (square?) or two to-go or to eat there - you don't usually see slices at any sort of "specialty" pizza spot but I think there's a big market for it so I think it's great (and smart) that they've oriented themselves towards that type of business. Thumbs up!

Organic thin crust pizza. Regardless of your position on organic foods/ingredients, this pizza is incredible. I usually prefer thin crust pizza as it is but this place really has something special going on. My experience : Buffalo Pizza and Barbecue Chicken Very pricey but it is an organic pizza place on the main line. I would go more often if it was a bit cheaper but I still will visit as often as my bank allows :)
(5)David M.
It's specialized pizza that has a thin crust. The kind I got was Mediterranean pizza and the flavor was pretty good. You select the pizza they already have out and they put it through a rolling oven much like a bed and breakfast hotel rolling toaster. The crust was firm and hard which helps the pizza from flopping all over the place. Unfortunately they don't have much other than the pizza, some natural sodas, the soup of the day, and cookies.

When ever I hear the words "organic" and "gluten-free", I can't help my eyes from rolling around, because these are everyone's favorite buzz words. Organic and gluten-free are sexy now - not just for hipsters. So, again, my PA friend had a surprise birthday get together here, and all I could think about was $9 going down the drain for pizza, but tasting is believing. Jules is a chain, and it's apparently all over. When I looked over at the sizes of the slices, I of course thought to super size everything, and ordered three slices just for myself. I of course, got the Brooklyn Slice, a balsamic chicken slice, and a veggie slice. Well, this was definitely BAD judgment, and was PACKED to the gills by the time we left this place. Wouldn't think they would fill you, but do yourself the favor - start small, and work yourself back to the counter for seconds. Excellent, fresh, and most importantly - tasty. Everything was tasty and actually tasted like a skinny bitch pizza; you can have a guilt free pizza diet! Jules, here's my $9, and I will shut up now.
(5)Tracy M.
On the surface this should be a truly great slice of pizza - fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, and a balanced presentation of toppings vs crust. These pizzas are focused on thin crust. However, the net effect of this is inexplicably boring. I even was excited for the gluten free option--"fresh" gluten-free pizza is not easy to find, but will not order it again. Overall, this could be a pizza for some other folks--not I. The pizza kingdom in general is large and forgiving, so feel free to try it for yourself. Just do not blame me if you find out it is uninspired.
(2)Jacob N.
Very good pizza and a nice place. There are many options to try and the pizza is beautiful and nicely displayed. I would get two slices if this is for a meal.
(4)Kim H.
I love thin crust pizza so this was perfect for me! I'll skip all the jargon as you can see from the other reviews that it's organic, locally sourced, free range chicken blah blah blah. Bottom line, it has quality ingredients. On this particular trip I tried the Italian and the buffalo chicken. The Italian comes with very thinly sliced pepperoni and sausage while the buffalo chicken comes with buffalo sauce chicken, celery, and arugula. I enjoyed the buffalo very much. The sauce was quite spicy which gave it a very nice kick! This is the type of place where they warm your pizza up in the oven. I kind of wish it was fresh b/c once you let the pizza sit out for a bit, it just doesn't taste the same as straight from the oven. Two slices set me back about $6. Not bad at all!
(4)diane g.
Im now pretty annoyed with Jules because of the very slim offerings by the slice in between lunch and dinner hours. Would it break them to put out a full line of pizzas in between lunch and dinner?
(4)Dana D.
2 words every vegan loves to see on a menu, vegan cheese! Got the mushroom and arugula with vegan cheese.... ate the entire medium in 1 sitting! Can't wait to go back and try another one!
(5)Gracie F.
Great thin pizza. I loved the diverse selections. If you're looking for something different, this is the place!

I'm so glad Jules decided to follow me to Wayne. This location just opened up a couple months ago. It's a bit smaller than their other shops, but the same pizzas I loved at the Doylestown and Newtown locations are here too. I still love the spinach and ricotta pie, the "greek salad" pizza which has lettuce, tomato, olives, red onion and feta cheese. Yum! Another new favorite: the buffalo chicken pizza--chicken, celery, and just enough buffalo sauce on it. Their salads are still great too. If you're getting takeout, you can pull around the back and they will come out to your car with your pizza. Much better than trying to find a spot on Lancaster Ave and putting money in the meter.

I discovered this small chain of pizza shops in the Jenkintown/Abington location, and I've become a huge fan. I finally tried out this location when I was in the area. It's a very small storefront in downtown Wayne. You get to experience all of Wayne's cuteness, as well as the ghastly traffic congestion when driving into town. There is street parking only, but we had no trouble finding a metered spot. Something about Wayne though doesn't sit well for me--for how far out in the 'burbs it is, and how car-oriented the surrounding area is, I can't help but feeling I'm getting the "worst of both worlds" when I have to drive here, then drive around for parking, and pay for parking...I'm more partial to walkable urban areas and small towns myself, but I do like the convenient parking of more suburban locations. I feel like this area gets the congestion of an urban area while still having the awful car-reliance of a suburb. But anyway, end of rant. This place is pretty much the same as the other location, food-wise. The pizza is excellent. My favorite are the whole wheat pizzas...and I like the one that has a greek salad on top, as well as the one with the razor-thin slice of eggplant. TRY the whole wheat pizza. I am seriously hooked...and I wish more people would order it. They usually only make up a couple whole wheat pies to set out, and they tell me it's because they don't sell. This is crazy! This must be because people haven't tried them. I LOVE whole wheat pizza in general and I think this place has the best example of it that I've tried anywhere. The crust is so intensely flavorful...it's hearty and just...really really yummy. I want everyone in here to at least try it out...I certainly prefer it by taste and I bet a lot of people would if they tried it. I want more people to try it so more people can start ordering it so that this place will make more of their pizzas in whole what. It's both healthier and more tasty! A minor quibble--a while back Jules modified the eggplant pizza in every location so that it no longer has parmesan cheese and instead has ricotta cheese. I really am NOT a fan of the ricotta cheese on any of the Jules pizzas. The crusts here are thin and light, and the toppings are super flavorful, which I love, and the big lump of ricotta cheese just adds a big, heavy, bland blob on top of the pizza. I almost want to pick it off when I order the new eggplant one. So I really hope the central management can respond to this and like, take off the ricotta and put this pizza back the way it was. It used to be my favorite pizza here but now I am back to preferring my former 2nd and 3rd favorites. Oh, also, the cookies here are great. The one big downside of this place? There's very little seating. Don't come here at a busy time, or you might not get a table. We had to wait very briefly for a table, and as soon as we left, someone else who was waiting snatched up our table. I also think this place is super reasonably priced!!! It's ultra-gourmet, at regular pizza prices!

Each pizza resembles a work of art -- I just wanted to stare at them and take pictures! Hummus pizza, tons of fresh local veggies, and they have Daiya for the vegan ones, hurray! I bet their tomato pie is good too. There is a big BYOB sign in the window too, though no one was taking advantage of this on a week night. I would love to see this store spread out and come to my neighborhood. Very sweet staff who will make anything you want. Pizza joint of the future...

(4) ~ overall very good food & service. Enjoyed the organic & locally sourced ingredients. Note: The "pizzas" are more like "Flatbreads" -or- "Crisps", due to their "cracker-thin" crusts:)
(4)John B.
Great pizza - quick and reliable. The family and I love this place.
(5)Sharon H.
Jules is a great addition to the Main Line's pizza places. It's definitely unique and great quality. I find their menu a little confusing, but that's not a big deal. I'm not super adventurous when it comes to trying a new pizza place- I always get the basics- cheese or pepperoni. They do both well. Keep in mind the pizza is large and thin. A bit pricey for my taste, but I know I'm paying for quality ingredients.
(4)Abby I.
Having been spoiled with the Jules Newtown location and their wonderful outdoor seating, I was a bit disappointed the Wayne location only had indoor seating. Their seating is very limited and every table was full when I visited. There's something colder and fro-yo feeling about this location versus the Newtown location. Nonetheless, the girl behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. She was able to make good suggestions based on what kind of ingredients/flavors we liked. I had the Pulled Pork Pizza and Veggie #6 (not sure if that's helpful) but they were both very delicious! I also liked the cupcakes in a jar they had for sale by the cashier. Very cute. I'll have to try one of those next time...along with Kim's Pizza flavor? I hear that one is very good!
(4)Brandon M.
Gimmicky pizza for sure. I don't mind eating something organic and non-traditional, but the crust is paper-like and the toppings don't taste natural. The inside of the restaurant is very well maintained and the atmosphere isn't bad, but I wouldn't eat the pizza again.

We have become huge fan of Jules thin crust. Recently we ordered large pizza Mexican and artichoke combination which cost us like 20 dollars. Paying 20 dollars for large pizza was initially bizarre but after having the first slices made it worth. Great quality and worth the money. I would advice to take it home because lot of youngsters around and get little noisy... Love their pizza.. Earlier we had tried dominos, Pizza Hut or regular pizza place. After Jules thin crust I would not even stop at any place. It's costly but worth it
(5)Andre B.
this place is very overrated. cracker thin crust, mediocre sauce, not very good cheese. cant say as i get the hype, must not have very good pizza options in the area.
(2)Danan R.
I love Jules and am so happy that this location opened because it's a lot closer to where I live and, well, hang out, so to speak. This used to be the former Your Gourmet Kitchen. The pizza here is just as fantastic as that at the other locations and the service is very friendly and fast. Our combo pizza comprised of half a meat #6 (bacon, mozzarella, arugula, scallions and red sauce) and half a meat #7 (fig spread, gorgonzola, prosciutto, and a hint of rosemary and basil) was delicious. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the flavors savory and complementary. The toppings were also generously portioned, especially the crispy bacon and thinly shaved prosciutto, which I really loved. We We also got a small goat cheese salad, which had plenty of walnuts and shallots! You usually don't see shallots in a lot of salads but they really added a boost of flavor! The balsamic dressing went with it very well, and I'm generally not a big fan of balsamic; the dressing here isn't overly tart, like it can be at other places. Our takeout order was ready when we got there - not wait time at all; we walked in, paid, and walked out. If you get carry out, I would heat the pizza in the oven for 5 min at 300 F right before eating; the cheese will be melted and the crust crispy and toasty. I'll be back very soon to try the asparagus but we were in a carnivorous mood today. Definitely worth stopping in.

On a shopping trip to Wayne, we stumbled upon Jules and decided to check it out. I'm so glad we did! Our pizza was incredibly delicious! We weren't brave and stuck with a standard Brooklyn pizza with fresh mozzarella, parmesan, garlic, oregano, with a drizzle of organic tomato sauce. My companion thought that they looked small and could probably eat the entire pie, but looks are deceiving. The pie we took home took us several days to eat! The shape of the pizza is not your standard circle, but more of a rectangle with rounded edges. The box is large and awkward, but the pizza is worth it.
(4)Mary P.
Their great attention to detail is noticed! I've had pizza here twice and ordered a Mediterranean salad once. The specialty pizzas are like works of art (almost too pretty to eat!). The salad was takeout- they put the cheese and dressing in small containers on the side to keep things fresh. Even the cherry tomatoes were even cut in half to make the salad easier to eat. Everything was great and fresh. Lastly, you can call as you arrive to pick up your takeout and they will bring it to your car in the back. This is really nice because parking out front can be tricky because it's on a busy road. I'll definitely be back.
(5)Lindsay H.
Pizza is delicious! Locally-sourced ingredients with free-range chicken, etc. If you want plain cheese, then it's expensive, but with amazing BBQ chicken and mushroom or hummus or triple mushroom or asparagus white pizza, why on earth would you buy plain cheese here?? Seating is limited, so plan accordingly. Have not tried their drive-by service where you can call ahead and pick up in the alley in back, but it is a brilliant idea. Also need to try their tasty baked desserts up front. I think they are all from local bakeries. On our first outing, we met the owners who were gracious and a treat to talk to. The adjacent table said their gluten-free crust is quite good, although I can't judge.

First of all, I have to ask Wayne, Pa - why do you shut down so early on a Saturday night in July? We were in Wayne last weekend for a Birthday Party/Pool Party and we spent the night at the beautiful Wayne Hotel. So after a day of fun in the sun we headed over and checked in at about 8pm. Then we went for a little stroll down the main drag in front of the hotel. We were feeling a bit peckish and hoping to find a quick slice of pizza. First place we went to was closed. Just about everything in town was closed. At 8:30. On a Saturday. In the Summer. Then we saw some activity inside Jules so we went in hoping for a decent slice. They were closing too but the very friendly (and cute) young ladies working there were happy to serve us some pizza to go. Now, I'm a traditional pizza kind of guy - sausage, pepperoni and onions (the trinity) are all in need on my pizza. Jules is not your regular slice joint. They have some unusual topping combinations, all served on super thin crust. Jules does not have sausage, pepperoni and onions. They had a BBQ pork pizza that was awesome. I also tried the basic tomato and cheese slice and that was very tasty too. All in all, I'm glad I wandered in to Jules and expanded my pizza horizons. They have delicious, fresh, inventive pizzas and really friendly employees.
(5)Ted M.
Best tasting pizza in the area. Jules prides itself on using local organic ingredients whenever possible, which makes it more expensive. Their pizza is much healthier (depending on what your order) and they offer toppings such as capers, shallots, and some others I've not seen anywhere else. They have gluten-free dough available too which I have not tried. There are 4 other locations in the area and they have a satellite location in California. They don't deliver but they have takeout including a curbside pickup in the back.
