I stopped by Asiana Garden the other day for some takeout. The food was pretty good, but not great. My curry shrimp was ok, but I was expecting a little more spice and maybe just a little more out of the meal. The shrimp were decent size and tasted fresh. The place has a cozy old house vibe, and the service was very friendly. I will definitely give it another shot, but it wasn't anything to write home about.

Came here with two friends for dinner on a weekday. The place has limited parking and is located on the corner of an intersection. The restaurant has lots of seating and has a very nice atmosphere. The waitress was very attentive and sat us down as soon as we walked in. I ordered the Tom Yum soup with drunken noodles, my friends ordered the Basil Fried Rice (with three peppers) and Pad See Yew. The Tom Yum soup was delicious and is a must order! My drunken noodles had three peppers, but was not really spicy. The noodle dish was delicious but could have been more flavorful. My friend's basil fried rice with three peppers was much spicier than mine and was delicious. My other friend ordered the Pad See Yew with beef and said it was okay. The beef was dry so she didn't eat it. The prices were a little more than other Thai places I've been to, but not by much (maybe $1 or $2). Overall, we were full by the end of the meal and had a pleasant experience, but this place was not our favorite. We'll be trying other Thai restaurants in the area.

I love the Pad See Yew here! In fact, I find that most of the dishes here are more flavorful than even my tried-and-true Thai Orchid (same family!). The owner is very sweet and the service here is probably the best out of the three (Chiangmai, Thai Orchid, and Asiana). The location is on a small road but very easy to get to from Lancaster (left onto Bloomingdales, and then right onto Wayne if you are heading West from 476).

This place is really good. They have lunch specials for $9.95 m-f and dinner specials for $16.95 t-th. Very good soups and entrees. I'm partial to the lemongrass soup and Thai basil entree. Have a Thai iced tea to cut the spice of your meal, or for a nice, refreshing drink.

We're regulars here. Great spot for vegetarians and people looking for BYOB. My family and I recommend the lemongrass soup, eggplant entree with chicken, jungle to jungle, pad see ew. The service is attentive and helpful (easy to adjust menu items for dislikes or dietary restrictions). The place is often empty so you won't need a reservation/ large parties are welcomed. Enjoy the generous portion sizes and tasty food!

Good food. Reasonably priced except for dessert which was expensive. Definitely recommend the pad thai

Don't let the odd location fool you... All around good food and nice people. We tend to get takeout but occasionally dine in too (BYOB). The green curry and spicy eggplant are two of our favorites.

We had a very disappointing dinner here last week. The Seafood Lover entree featured limp, overlooked vegetables and tasteless seafood. The Drunken Noodles were pretty good. The Vegetarian Red Curry tasted like defrosted vegetables with heavy spice taste but no flavor. We have been here twice, both times for dinner, but we will not be returning. There are other, better choices for Thai food in the area.

Very good Thai spot in Wayne PA. Positives: I tried and loved the following dishes:Thai Basil, Seafood Lover, Red (and Green) Curry, Crying Tiger Salad, Chicken Satay. My wife had the Thai Dumplings which she loved (To be honest, I did not taste them, but I trust her on this). Portions are decent size, very tasty, fresh, nicely spiced, Attentive wait staff, pleasant decor. Parking is ok. Negatives: the rice portion is a little too small, we needed to order extra (at a charge), they bring the food out as individual plates -- which makes sharing harder -- not fond of that in Thai cuisine -- I lived in Thailand for a spell -- nearly all restaurants made family style sharing the standard. Neutral: Pricing is a bit high... But roughly forgivable given food quality Its a good spot, with surprisingly tasty food -- I hope they prosper and stay awhile.

It's hard to say the food is bad. It's not baaad, it's just not good and very much overpriced. Two rice noodle entrees of sorts and crispy rolls $37, I think not. Mine was ranked, "THREE CHILI PEPPERS" hot and it was borderline sweet. And soggy. And had tofu in it that was not listed on the description. I hate tofu and didn't finish it. The parking lot is a nightmare to get in and out of with all the rich and rude grand SUV owners of Wayne driving down Conestoga. We won't be back.

Been there twice for lunch and looking to go back soon. The lunch combo special is an excellent option and proved quite tasty. I have ordered the lunch special with: Drunken noodles (with an a la carte fried egg on top of it) Thai Dumplings and Tulip Dumplings - Go for the Thai Dumplings, seems tastier and heartier with pork and black-mushrooms, although maybe I had a weak batch of the tulip dumplings with chicken, shrimp and crabmeat. Wonton soup Whatever dish you get, my companion and I both added freshly cut hot peppers to enhance the flavor and heat (be careful not to over-do it). Service was solid on both occasions, although the first time with "Cat" proved extremely useful and willing to try, she indulged by my companion's request for a fried-egg on top of the entree noodle dishes (supposedly its very common in Thailand according to him) and she didn't have any issue going to Chef with the request. The second time, it took some convincing of a different waitress for her to ask the Chef. It worked out both times, so its all good. Only minor, but completely understandable, problem was the first waitress, Cat, charged us an extra $1/egg whereas the second waitress charged us $2.50. Before you balk at the fried egg concept, it just makes the dish a lot more tasty and richer, and it also helps balance out the spiciness, so you can add more peppers for flavor.

Good place to taste Thai cuisine. Food tastes authentic and environment is hygienic, though ambience could have been better. Staffs are friendly and serving time is reasonable. It's little pricy for the quantity, location and ambience.

My family and I went to this restaurant in expectations of "average, normal" Thai food. We were wrong. This place was phenomenal. However, after ordering 3 appetizers, 4 dishes, and 3 soups, the bill totaled to $117. The prices are fairly good considering the amount we ordered and the food was great.

Excellent food, good service, reasonable ambiance. The dishes, classic or creative, bring the multitude of flavors expressed by subtle cuisine. Definitively not the place for those that equal Thai gastronomy with heavily hot-spiced food. It is not a cheap ethnic restaurant and the prices are consistent with its location. Decoration and lightening could be improved. Nice place for conversation.

Visited last night with my wife and her sister's family. We're experienced Thai food fans and we all thought the meal was great. We tried the Crying Tiger, Mango Salad, Lemongrass soup, Green chicken curry, Panang chicken curry, Mussaman curry, Chicken cashew, and red chicken curry. I've cooked and eaten Thai since the early 90's and would have been happy to serve any of these dishes to folks in my home. My son and I each asked for heat in the 7 or 8 out of 10 range and it was very spicy. Next time maybe I'll ask for 6! Our server was friendly and attentive, so all in all it was a very satisfying meal.

Based on other positive reviews, I just dined at Asiana Garden. The service staff were pleasant, but the food was merely okay. I had lemongrass soup (seriously over-salted), dumplings and a somewhat bland Pad Thai, heavy on noodles, short on chicken, tofu and sprouts. Maybe I'm spoiled because I've actually visited Thailand. Bottom line; okay if you're nearby, but I would not make a special trip.

Really enjoyed eating here. The interior is warm and well appointed, don't be fooled by the exterior. Nothing masks the flavors in the food, you taste everything that is listed with each menu item. If your looking for truly traditional and spicy Thai food you can find it here. I would eat here again.

I'm also very excited that there is now a Thai place in Wayne!!! The thai food is very good, reasonably priced and the food is fresh. They also have very good customer service. The interior ambiance is also very inviting. I would go back again frequently since I'm a big fan of Thai food and don't feel like driving to Conshohocken or Berwyn. Please note that per their website, set your GPS to 201 Conestoga Road Wayne, PA 19087.

Again, excited to hear that a local Asian restaurant had positive reviews so my girlfriends and I went yesterday for lunch. I really wanted them to success because we sure need a decent Thai place on the mainline. This review is based on all Asian diners and one Swiss so I think we know what we're talking about. The lunch menu was definitely a good deal at $10 and the service was very attentive. But, the food was not great. Lemongrass soup - way too salty with chicken that felt like it was thrown in to boil at the last minute without being first marinated (a must for all Asian cooking). Thai dumplings - greasy and unrefined glob of "dumpling" deep fried with meat that tasted not fresh Thai spicy eggplant - Flavors were ok but way too salty and with same chicken problem as the soup, dry and tasteless. Drunken Noodles - too salty as well and same tasteless meat as the others. Unfortunately, since it's not in my neighborhood, I don't think I'm going back. Too bad

In 2 words: Not good. After the loss of the Newtown Square Heng's location, Asiana Garden became the closest Thai place to us. We finally tried it a couple weeks ago, and were disappointed. I believe the better reviews for this place must be from local college students originally from bumblesville, who have no prior Thai food experience. That, or they are of that Vanilla Mainline subset, who haven't any tastebuds. First, the food did not merit the prices. My husband was indifferent about his curry and said it was not as good as other Thai places we've been to. My Pad Thai was dry, cold, and with way too much rice noodle for the other ingredients. Portions were 2/3 of what we get at Noodi in Media (a drive, but worth it for much better food, a better value on portions, and far more friendly people). Don't ever try to use a coupon at Asiana Garden without an "official" magazine-print copy. We live on the county line, in Newtown Square, but our neighbor is in Devon. Despite the fact that we are just as close, and consider all the same nearby restaurants to be just as local as our neighbors, somehow Devon gets the Clipper magazine for this place, and we don't. Therefore, we often use Clipper online to print coupons. This is a service Clipper provides to further promote their advertisers. Asiana Garden should know this as part of their Clipper contract, if not as plain common sense. Nonetheless, when we went to use a computer-printed coupon, my husband was given a suspicious look like he was counterfeiting bonds in the basement. There was whispering, and then the coupon was reluctantly accepted. While college kids and the tacky bourgeoise could care less about preserving and maintaining wealth, many locals use coupons liberally. The fact that this is news to Asiana Garden tells me a lot about the crowd who likes this place. That, combined with our experience, means we won't be back. (Noodi offers better coupons and accepts them with a smile.)

Wow a new gem in Wayne, convenient spot too! This thai food place is great from its appetizers to the entree. I am a frequent thai food diner, so when I know of all people that it is hard to find a good thai restaurant. This place is a new branch of Chiangmai in conshocken which is one of the best around the area and Asiana Garden is nothing short of great just like Chiangmai! The lemongrass soup is great along with the steam tulip dumplings... The chicken Pad Thai is also a favorite of mine, the noodles are cooked to perfection and the flavor of it is just delicious. This is a new restaurant so I don't expect it to be perfect yet, but it's definitely a place to try if you live around the area!!

Overall this place is really good. -It's a BYOB -as far as I know, the only Thai food option in Wayne/nearby Main Line -Golden Tofu appetizer is awesome -Drunken noodles very good -Curry's are very good -pad see ew is very good (best thing in my opinion for people who are new to Thai) -The service is fine, but it's worth mentioning that the people that work here are among the friendliest and nicest people I've ever met at a restaurant My only complaint is that it's a bit pricy for Thai food. The portions are fine, but most of the entrees seem to be almost $5 more than they should be for the style of food.

We went on a wednesday night, it was pretty empty, very organized, clean, the special appetizer they had it was great, like a veggie pastry called samosa. I order the Pad Thai and loved it. Will be back, and it's BYOB so even better

Had the lunch special (appetizer, soup, entree) for $10, a good deal. The portions were small but adequate. The food was decent but nothing truly memorable. Worth a visit if you're hankering for Thai and in the area, but wouldn't necessarily go out of your way to come here. Be aware that they don't take credit cards for anything less than $15 and they don't take AmEx at all.

Great place! It has a wonderful atmosphere. The two women working there when we went were so so friendly! I had the drunken noodles, one of my favorites, which were delicious but could have been spicier. Only complaint is it's a tiny bit pricey but otherwise this is a great place for people who like Thai food.

So glad to have a reliably good and reasonably priced Thai place back in Wayne. We ordered takeout, my husband said the interior was nothing special but who cares when the food is good! We had the panang curry (very flavorful, just enough spice) The sweet and sour chicken, (only a million times better than the Chinese version), a very good pineapple fried rice oh, and the thai rolls as a starter. Everything was fresh, good assortment of vegetables and portions were plentiful. We will be back!

We had our first takeout experience and it rocked. We had the Evil Jungle Princess, mostly because it has one of the best names of a dish ever, and the Thai Basil Chicken. Both were delicious. We also had the Tom Yum and the Tom Kah soups, equally delicious but, as usual, they didn't laugh when I said they were named after me. Shows they have good taste. The Chicken Satay, a Thai must, it seems, and the Thai Dumplings were a treat. They do NOT deliver and it's BYO, although the staff is very aware that the place used to be a neighborhood beef and beer bar. "They didn't leave any behind," I was told. The staff who assisted me could not have been more cheerful. They could use a little light in the small parking area. But if that's the worst thing I can say . . . Not sure about the dining room set up. Doesn't scream for you to stay, but it's work a shot. Food and service were excellent for this first-time takeout customer!

Came across this Thai restaurant for weekday lunch. I was in the mood for Pad Thai. The lunch specials were very well priced for a 3-course meal (appetizer, soup, entree). I was the only one eating at that time and I was not expecting anything spectacular. The servings were above average and the taste was spot on. More importantly, I got a lot for what I paid for. Good food and service. This is a neighborhood gem in the Wayne, PA area.

I love Thai food and I lived in Wayne until a couple months ago, so I was so happy to have Thai in the area. Tried it with friends and now when I see them in Wayne we always go here. The Pad Thai was so good (I always get that) so the next time I was adventurous and got a curry, and it was just as good. The price is also very reasonable, which is nice, especially for Wayne. If you like Thai this is the place to go in the area. It also has its own parking, which is a huge plus, and is not on Lancaster so that's not a problem at all.

I'd been looking for some great Thai food in the Wayne area and here it is! I wasn't optimistic when I saw the outside of the building (not impressive), and the parking situation (not ideal). But I quickly found a parking space and went inside. It wasn't crowded at all and I got seated immediately. I'll cut right to the important stuff - the food. It's really, really good. Waaaay better than the other local Thai place I tried (Chiangmai in Conshy). They offered $9.95 lunch specials. I chose the lemongrass soup (awesome), some kind of Thai egg roll (the dipping sauce was like crack) and the Mussaman chicken curry (ridiculously good). Since then, I have gone back 4 times. I've ordered the basil chicken dish (very good) and the cabbage salad (decent, but would be better if they used traditional papaya instead of cabbage). The service was excellent and everyone on staff is super super friendly. I've introduced a number of friends to the place and they have all loved it as well. I highly recommend.

Terrific food, very flavorful and very cheap. The coconut soup was out of this world. Always love a byo and the location was great. Highly recommend for a great night out or order in.

Love the food here. We have had Thai food many times. The service here is also very good and we have become regulars. Parking is a bit difficult however.
