This was quite possibly the worst breakfast I've ever had. Aside from the fact that we were there over an hour because of poor service, I'll forgive that. There was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. Mr J & I ordered the pancakes. We were to get three pancakes and our choice of breakfast meat. Pancakes shouldn't take very long, however I think we waited over 15 minutes for six pancakes, a side of bacon, home fries, and a side of sausage. When our breakfast finally came, the pancakes alone had to weigh about a pound each. They were very light golden brown in color and barely cooked. We were given one single serving packet of butter for these monsters. I quickly placed two of the pancakes on another plate and buttered just one. Even the syrup couldn't save these. They were so dense and tough, I couldn't cut them with my fork. I barely got through them with a butter knife. They were tough, chewy, and devoid of flavor. I took two bites and was done. Mr. J's sausage was undercooked and his home fries were incredibly greasy and bland. They had no seasoning whatsoever. The waitress didn't even bother to ask how our food was. We just wanted out of there, so we just paid the bill and left. What a complete waste of time and money.

New place, decided to try it, I don't know about the other reviews but my service was great, the food was great, and the price was totally fine I mean I got a big breakfast sandwich with a side of sausage gravy and a side of hash browns plus a drink, 8.50, the waitress was nice, average to above average on the timeliness also

This was our very first visit, and I can't say it was too pleasant of an experience for me. We stopped in for Sunday morning breakfast, which should be a staple for a small town diner. We walked in to two girls dealing with other customers so we stood there for several minutes not knowing if we should wait to be seated or not. As I looked around, only one table was able to be used by us; the center aisle two top, or as I like to call it... The worst seat in the house. There was an empty window table and two booths but neither waitress offered to clean them for us as they hadn't been bussed yet. They remained dirty almost the entire time of our visit. When we were waited on, the waitress was pleasant enough but seemed rather exasperated by an overwhelming workload, (mind you, there are only maybe 12 tables in the entire place). Her inability to handle four tables remained evident the entire visit. My water glass was not filled once, my two egg breakfast was missing an egg, and the fruit cup I asked for specifically because I didn't see it on the menu, was never delivered or mentioned again. Breakfast took quite a long time to come, which seemed odd due to only ten people in the diner. But the meal itself was not horrible. My egg was fine, although it's hard to mess up a fried egg over medium. I did eventually get the second egg. :) The hash browns were horrendous (and they came out grey, as if they were fresh shredded and then sat out until time to use them). I ordered wheat toast and got white, which only added to my frustration. My boyfriend really liked his sausage patty and his rye toast, but the waitress failed to mention how thick their bread is when he ordered a double order of rye. Don't get me wrong, the size of the bread is something Paul and Ann got right. But not knowing this info from our server lead us to having a half of loaf of bread at our table! All in all, I think Paul and Ann's Diner can improve but for my first (and probably only) visit, it was priced too high for the quality of food and service we received. Unfortunately too, we live close by and just LOVE our Sunday breakfasts out!

After my first visit and review I received a apology from the owner. He ask me to give them another try. He explained many start up troubles, so being he seemed like he really cared, I thought I would give Paul and Ann's another try. My wife and I stopped in early Friday morning for breakfast. The new waitress was super friendly and 100% on point with everything. I have to say all of the food was very good this time. Now I want to go back and try lunch and dinner. They have definitely work out some of the start up hiccups.

My husband and I love to go to breakfast on weekend mornings and were really excited to try a new place out. Everything was really new and nice. Place filled up very quickly after we arrived and I felt bad only one waitress was serving the entire restaurant, but you could tell she was hustling and doing her best. I felt relieved for her when someone else showed up to help. My husband got steak and eggs and I got eggs, toast, sausage and potatoes. Food was great and price was right-we will definitely be back!

Very nice place. Went there for diner then returned for breakfast. Burger and fries were perfect and the pancakes were delicious and filling. Sausage was okay I'll try the bacon next time I go. Fast service and wait wasn't long for food.
