Potter's. Potter's. Potter's. When I was a kid my family and I used to order take out from Potter's. It wasn't just for meals, but for sides, such as fries and salads. We'd cook our main and order in the sides. I remember running to Potter's through neighbors yards and driveways to get there, sometimes in the rain, or at dusk. Those memories are burned into my brain and I could be happier about it. As the years went on Potter's portions got smaller, but their menu pretty much stayed the same. It was a meeting place after a sports game, or a drinking night when I was 21 or 22. It was simply Potter's. Moving away from the area I had the chance to revisit Potter's and see what was going on. I was very happy that the bar side has not been touched or redone in all of the years I have known the place. The restaurant side was their attempt at expansion but the atmosphere between the two sides is as stark as night and day. The bar is gritty and dimly lit with red with a TV in a corner and booths on one side. The kitchen is open to the bar, it's just an awesome place to be and hang out. It has more character than a lot of other places. I do not prefer the restaurant side at all. Their food is typical bar food. Salads are good, burgers are good, fries are a staple. Some of their food is frozen which sort of makes Potter's lose some legitimacy. I'm glad they have kept up their gritty appearance with their bar side, but I'd like to see them step up their game with a legit cook who can improve on their already decent food. It would put Potter's on the map for the area and their business would explode (even more so than now). Potter's will always be around but they can become a legend if they tried.

I like Potter's mainly for the nostalgia. Have been going here for over 25 years and usually pop in when I return to Uniontown. Typical hometown bar food. I can say the at 90% of the time I get the Poorboy which is ham and cheese sandwich grilled and dressed with lettuce, tomato, mayo. I've had a burger and the greek, but typically stick to the usual. Inexpensive and a quick sandwich.

A solid 3.5. The portions are plentiful and prices are right. I can't speak as to the taste of the hamburgers, but I know they're not frozen. I always ordered a side of cheese fries and/or zucchini strips. Again, neither are frozen. Fries are hand cut and the zucchini comes in long, very thin, lightly coated strips served with ranch. The only thing that could make it better would be horseradish sauce, but im willing to over look it.

Potter's is easily my favorite restaurant in Uniontown. I generally like to use Potter's as a meeting place to catch up with friends on a regular basis because it is very laid back. I also like Potter's because it is a place my dad and I used to go to a lot when I was younger so it holds a special place in my heart! Pros: Potters has the best antipasto salads in the area. Also, the prices aren't bad although I will say the prices have gone up over the years and portions have gotten smaller. My favorite thing off the menu here is the Fried Chicken Salad --- it comes with lettuce, tomatoes, beets, onions, fried chicken strips, fries, and potter's own house dressing! Cons: The service is definitely below average here. Once you get your meal and your check has been laid on your table, you can pretty much forget getting a refill on your drink, etc. Also. . .parking can get a little tight on the weekends but Potter's opened up an extra lot in front of the restaurant a few years back which has helped with that problem. Highly recommend Potter's. It is a family friendly atmosphere and you can't go wrong!

I live in Pittsburgh and always went out of my way to go to Potter's! They have a secret salad dressing that is amazing and they will not give out the recipe! Everything is great and made from scratch! Highly Reccomended

Had a nice antipasto and quesadilla here. I think with a beer the total was under $12. (it was 1/2 priced quesadilla night if I recall correctly). So, you can't beat the price. I travel a lot for work, so I like to go to local joints like this. There was definitely some local color here...drunk guy who wanted to buy a six pack with only $3 who was summarily dismissed by the bartender to reappear shouting "I got enough for a 40, gimme a 40." Love places like this and with good food it's even better.

First, I am going to let it be known that I gave Potter's a 4 for nostalgic reasons. Potter's holds truly magical memories for my sisters and I. This was our big horrah every time we visited my grandparents in Uniontown, PA. After a long trip in the family station wagon with four kids and two adults, our ride would end with a stop at Potter's. We were raised in a different time when eating out was a treat. My sisters and I would share an antipasta salad, large order of fries and each get the rectangle burger accompanied by a soda. Potter's food is good, inexpensive and typical American style. One side is a bar and the other is a restaurant. You can't beat the prices. Hands down better than McDonald's and their competitors. They offer kids meals for $3 to $4. A potter burger will run you about $3 w/cheese and it is served on a wonderful rectangle roll, not your traditional bun. They serve coke, which I greatly appreciate over the RC Cola that was served in most place in Uniontown when I was a kid. If you're in town stop in. Beats any of the fast food burger joints.

Grew up in Uniontown. Back for my 40th high school reunion. 1st thing I'm doing is having a juicy, heart-attack inducing Potter Cheeseburg. This place is the best!
