Great food! We always enjoy coming here. Service is wonderful. The host, Ruth, is awesome! She makes you feel so comfortable and welcome. Definitely a place for regulars.

We had to wait way to long to be seated and the place was not very busy. They only had 2 servers working so our waiter was rushing around and never paid attention to our table. They said our meal would come with rolls and salad. The rolls were hard and the gave us cold butter in plastic containers. The salad came was incredibly small. Not really fine dining. The vegetables that came with our meal seemed and tasted like frozen vegetables. The mashed potatoes might have been instant. Not sure The only redeeming factor was the chicken that I ordered, it was actually pretty good. Overall the experience was rather infuriating.

Service was ok and that's where it ends. I ordered the salmon which was way, way overpriced for this place. In fact, everything here was overpriced for what the place is. The salmon was tasteless, overcooked, dry, and farmed. The pilaf looked like it came from a freezer bag. Lastly, the mash potatoes were instant, are you kidding me!? For a $21+ dollar meal, instant mashed potatoes and frozen pilaf is inexcusable and just lazy. Everything was tasteless, uninspired, and apathetically done. A mistake coming here without a doubt.

Tunkhannock has fabulous restaurants and Remington's is one not to miss. Our server, Lee, was very attentive and have us terrific suggestions of what to order. The homemade chips as an appetizer were addicting. The scallops and shrimp in bourban sauce was delicious and not a heavy meal, so I was able to save room for the coconut cream pie. We will definitely go back.

Stopped by tonight with the family. I really wish you would have a sign signifying you were NOT a child- friendly establishment. It would have saved me from buckling and unbuckling 3 car seats. I am completely floored by your host's failed attempt at 'kindly' recommending my children behave while visiting your "family resturant". She was rude from the start and made her dislike of my children in your "fine dining" room apparent from the moment we walked in. Which was only minutes before we abruptly walked out. Perhaps you were too busy with your current 4 patrons to accommodate my family of 5? News flash Remington's: you are in rural Pennsylvania. If you want to give off the aura of ritzy fine dining you can start with replacing your crappy 1990s screen door and the masking tape holding up your signage. Respectfully yours, proud mama of a family with a " healthy" appetite.

We went for a last minute substitute when the weather turned bad and we didn't want to drive too far. While the waitress was very nice, we asked for recommendations to get the " best dish you have" we both had the crab bisque but found it to be very salty and had bits of shell in it. My husband's tilapia was bone dry and the "basalmic drizzle " was too little to late to help the fish. We won't be back, we will just go to the Fireplace instead.

This was by far the best dining experience I have had in a while. Top notch pork chop, clean place and exceptional service. This is a must for anyone traveling thru this town. Talked with the owners (husband and wife) who were very friendly and just plain good folks.

Very nice atmosphere. But sadly after being sat my family and I waited 20 minutes before leaving. Not even a drink was brought or order taken. Food looked and smelled great what a shame couldn't enjoy it.

Best food in town. Drink is pretty cheap ( Patron shot for 8 bucks?). Service is Ok, depends on who you get. It's next to the Hampton so you can eat and drink then walk back to the hotel.

We have been back several times since my last post and have been more pleased. We bought my dad and uncle there and they loved it. The quality of food improved since my last post. The staff is extremely pleasant and very accommodating. We will continue to visit.

I just had a great meal with a friendly helpful waitress (Gina ) Delmonico steak was awesome and brought half of it with me for later. Will definitely stop in the next time I come through town

The hostess was snippy every time she interacted with us and at the end of the meal she was actually extremely rude to my wife. To top it off, my three year old son wandered up a few steps on a staircase located by the main entrance as we were leaving and the hostess yelled at him and made him feel stupid. No matter how good the food was it was not worth being treated horribly. I will never eat there again.

Ordered a burger here since it was right next to the hotel I was staying at. Was delicious. Well cooked. Not loaded with condiments. A little under seasoned but perfect lunch. Not bad. And it was affordable. Can't speak much about dinner but the burger was tastey.

I was not all that impressed with this restaurant aside from that it was a two minute walk from my hotel. It was rather over-priced for the portion and quality of the meal. I also must have been there at a rough time as they only had two people covering the entire restaurant. This made for some delays in filling my glass when I was thirsting for something to wash down my food. There is a nice selection of food and being as this is the first time I've ever been at this restaurant it deserves another try. But the price (compared to the other spots in town) may delay my return.
