Good Thai in the Poconos! The duck is great and also love there drunken noodles. They have some great appetizers as well, try the Beef Satay!

On our way to Bushkill Falls, we found this little treasure of a Thai restaurant in the middle of what I will affectionately call the boonies. The restaurant itself is immaculate - and they serve some top notch Thai food with a smile. We had the red curry with chicken, shrimp pad thai, pad kee mao, and Thai iced tea - all of which earned some stellar praises from my super Korean parents. I'd highly recommend if you're in the Poconos area.

I'll start off with saying that if you've been to Thailand and you expect something to compare to that, well you might as well just buy yourself a ticket to Bangkok or Chiang Mai. If you have realistic expectations, given the fact that you are hours from any metropolitan area, this little Thai restaurant in the middle of nowhere delivers quite authentic notes of Thai cuisine. Not to say that everything is good because the pad see ew we had was closer to flavorless. Having said that, the fact that they offer larb in itself is quite interesting. We would have loved to see more lettuce leaves with the larb as it is sort of like Thai lettuce wraps but the taste was right on point though a little dry. The Som Tum (papaya salad) was near perfect with its sweet and spicy yet so refreshing mix of green papaya and all the spices (some tamarind, fish sauce, slight sugar, salt and definitely some pepper). The green curry had to be one of the best green curries I have had (and I'm including the New York metro area in that comparison). Prices are range from $10-15 for entrees. Appetizers are $7-10. This might be considered a little high for the middle of nowhere but for decent Thai food in the middle of nowhere, I think it's reasonable. Also, this is down the road from the Martz Trailways bus station at the Delaware Water Gap so it's a convenient location if you're picking up/dropping off someone there. We will definitely be back!

I forgot to take pics this time, but the food, AS USUAL, was AMAZING! This is not only our favorite THAI restaurant anywhere, but it's probably our favorite restaurant of ALL in The Poconos & one of our favorites anywhere. Keep it up Thai Thani; you're doing everything right!!!

For a Thai place in the middle of nowhere - it's pretty good. Set on top of a hill it's got outside seating with nice views for miles around. There's a huge bar on one side that looks like it's from the Disco days of the 70s. I know, I lived it. As for the food - portions are correct, not "American Supersized) although some may say small. We had the soft shelled crabs and Pad Thai with shrimps, both of which were excellent. Not as authentic as Bangkok street food, but the airfare would've cost 100 of these meals. We also ordered a chicken dish - Param Steamed, I think, which was not good at all, so stay away from that. Plus? Excellent Thai Iced Tea Ice and ice cold Singha beer. Nothing like washing your meal with the alcoholic beverage that comes from the same country. Or maybe it's just my imagination. Or maybe I'm just a drunk.

Thai Thani offers friendly service and a great selection of Thai food! If you are visiting, definitely try the curry puffs as an appetizer - they're not overwhelming in flavor and the included sauce accompanied them very well. The Ginger Tea was served in a mini pot, and took me through my entire meal. Wonderful! The Pad See Ew with shrimp was nearly perfect (it would've been perfect if it wasn't too oily, but tasted delicious nonetheless). I would highly recommend the Green Curry with chicken if you are a fan of Thai curries - I'm not even a fan, but I enjoyed the dish anyway. The jasmine rice balanced it out in flavor and texture. Finally, the Green Tea ice cream was served beautifully with enough to share with another - it is served with whipped cream and a cherry on top - yum! I will definitely return if I'm ever in the area!

  • Lita W.

Green curry was good. Mild spicy was the perfect amount of spice for me. My friend got a "level 5" spicy, which is the spiciest it can get. It was pretty darn spicy to me, but my Vietnamese friend claims that viet people eat very spicy food so he could handle it. Anyway, the green curry was sweet, savory, slightly spicy, coconut-y, and basil-y. I thought their pad thai was too sweet, and the pad see ew was better in terms of the sweet to savory ratio. Thai food is a pretty sweet cuisine overall, so don't come here if you're diabetic.

Excellent Thai - one of the best in the area. Dined on Thai Ice Tea, Tom Kha Soup, Massaman Curry, and Drunken Noodles. All very good! Service was attentive and very pleasant. Open all day. Takes party reservations as well. Restaurant provides a dressy attire appearance but can be casually dressed. Definitely will return!

Truly a hidden gem in the mountains of the poconos! We were driving through the town and stopped at this random Thai restaurant and boy were we delightfully surprised! It was very nice inside. Staff was very nice and owner even came out and greeted us and made sure our meal was good. The food was very delicious and spicy. Definitely give the all around experience 5 stars. I'm not sure what was cooler, the fact that the waitress lit our fried ice cream on fire with Bacardi 151, or the Thai face cutouts outside. Very fun!

This is our favorite Pocono restaurant and one of the top Thai restaurants we've ever been to. Every dish is expertly prepared.

I went to Thai Tani last week with my sister for a quiet weeknight dinner. I order a salmon special which came with cold green tea noodles. The salmon was a bit bland and over cooked for my taste, but the noodles were spectacular. I also had a Mai Thai to drink, and they make the best Mai Thai I have ever had (and I am a professional bartender so I know what I'm talking about). For dessert I had the fried ice cream which was incredible. It's home made coconut ice cream which was delightfully cool and creamy. It jad Some kind of coating on it which wasn't too sweet and really brought out the flavor of the ice cream. The presentation was the best part though, they poured a generous shot of Bacardi 151 over top and lit it on fire right at the table! I would come back just for that

What a nice surprise to stumble upon this gem. We sat on the deck and enjoyed to view of the Delaware Gap and the delicious food. The seafood salad was perfect and the soups so good. Just the right spice.

Last year we had lunch here and I could not wait to come back! Pad Thai is amazing. Atmosphere is great. Service is great as well. Just wish it wasn't three hours away.

It was an interesting experience. Being a city kid, I'm pretty spoiled when it comes to food, especially Asian food. (But I take the location of the restaurant in account for my expectations, so I didn't expect much.) We ordered safe dishes: shrimp tempura (which had 2 shrimp pieces and the rest veggies), yellow chicken with curry, and the pad thai. Everything tasted a little too sweet- the iced tea was too sweet, the curry was sweet-ish, the sauce for the tempura was sweet, etc. All in all, I probably wouldn't prefer to go again if I was ever in the area. It's good, and service is friendly, but relative to the thai places I've eaten at in NY and JC, I'm not impressed.

Great service, great people and amazing food. The prices were really decent for the amount of food that was served. It was all a VERY enjoyable experience. My family and I are definitely looking forward to the next time we will be able to go again! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to eat out or have something different but delicious to eat! The was food was even enjoyable to a picky eater like my sister!

My friends and I ate dinner here for a fun night out. The restaurant was easy to get to and had ample parking. The interior is very nice, the whole place has an older feel, the building has been around awhile. We were seated promptly and for a Sunday night, had quite a few people dining. We sat down and ordered appetizers, a seared tuna salad, vegetable spring rolls and chicken satay. All were very delicious and cooked perfectly. We all ordered the drunken noodles. It was VERY spicey. Very much so that I think it over powered the dish to where you couldn't taste the food. I did enjoy it though and would order it again, just asking for the heat to be turned down. I have no complaints about the meal and would give it 5 stars for that but the service is very slow. It took a half hour from the time I handed the waitress my card to pay until I got it back. Other than that, I would go back, very delicious.

Nice place/best drunken noodles in the area/overall food is good but service has gone down since opening.../charge too much for beer

  • Andi S.

The service is incredibly inept and rude. The food is just "ok". Their parking is ample and view is quite pretty, but really, I can prepare better Thai food in my sleep. Do yourself a favor and go eat at Thai Orchid instead.

The view is lovely. The waitress we had was great and friendly. I had the pad thai and thai ice tea both great and something I would order again. I also appreciated that our baby was not given the stink eye. We will be back!

I enjoyed the exceptionally fresh and perfectly prepared food while dining on the deck. The view of Lehigh Gap makes for a terrific outdoor dining experience. A bit expensive given its location, but highly recommended nevertheless.

We stayed in Ramada hotel in Tannersville and felt like having Thai food. When I searched on Yelp, two Thai restaurant came up in Stroudsberg, one of which was Thai Thani. It was not too crowded on Saturday night. There are plenty of seats in the restaurant. We ordered Tom Yum Shrimp and Tom Kha Gai for soup, and ordered Green Curry with chicken, Pad Preow Wan (sweet and sour) with beef and Jumbo Shrimp. The food was decent, maybe a bit thinner than I was hoping, but it is my personal taste. We enjoyed our meal, and my daughter enjoyed Thai Iced Tea. The price was reasonable. Next time we are around Poconos area, it will be one of the choices for our dinner plan.

The place is great though the interior needs to be updated There's one nasty waitress that I don't like, I ordered "pattaya seafood" dish and she brought me something else and said in a very nasty way that that's what i ordered. All the people in my group confirmed that I ordered a different dish and she said that " this is what pattaya seafood looks like " .Then next time I was there I ordered the same dish , she brought out the dish that I was suppose to receive the first time so the look on her face was priceless. Still she did not admit that she was wrong. But so far, that's the only bad experience I've had with this place. All the other girls are very friendly and nice, always in a good mood, the food is very delicious and consistent.

We went after our ski trip in Camelback at 10pm, and they have already set the table up for us. Everything we ordered are amazing, curry puff, red snapper and drunken noodle are my FAV!! Pa Thai and fried Shrimp appetizer are also great. However, the only thing I'm not satisfied is that the waitress took my friend's cash instead of my credit card after I told her to make sure to charge my card, since we want to thank my friend to drive us all the way to PA. Well but it's not food related, so I'm still giving it a four stars. Would come back again.

From the outside you would never know how amazing this place is. I travel to the area once a week for business and this is always the lunch stop. Everything is perfect here! Excellent service, beautiful presentation, and flavorful food. My personal favorite is the tofu soup and red curry lunch special.

This is a great find in pocono area. It is definitely one of the best Thai place in pocono. The portion size is very large. The decor is very elegant with lots of mood lightning. There are outdoor seating available. Definitely a great place to bring a date. I ordered the Kar paw seafood with basil which has shrimp, scallop, & calamari. It is well prepared and taste delicious. My friend's Pad Thai was good but not the best I've eaten. The portion size enough to feed two people. I will definitely bring people here next time I am in Pocono. We also ordered the curry puff and muscle to start. Both are delicious. For dessert, we ordered the mango sticky rice which you have to try if you never had it before.

  • Mohamed S.

The food here was quite good. The decor was very nice. We got some take out and sat at the bar waiting for it. Bar was very nice as well. The only reason I didn't give this place 4 or even 5 stars is because they messed up our order and we didn't notice it until we were 20 minutes away, back in our hotel. And it wouldn't have been a big deal but we got shrimp instead of chicken tempura and my girl doesn't eat seafood. So besides that mistake the place was great. If we're back in this area again we'll just eat in to make sure the order is OK.

I am a regular customer of Thai food everywhere I go, whether if it's on business or family travel. The food here is average. Portions are average. However, the service was totally unacceptable. I found this place on Google and the ratings were pretty good so I want to give it a try. When we walk through the door, we waited several minutes before anybody greeted us. They sat down without menus and several minutes later the waitress attempted to take our order. We then asked for menus and she basically tossed them in the center of the table. Since it was our first time there we had several questions asking about portion size and how the food tastes and she basically just looked at us with a straight face without any recommendations or answers like we were bothering her. As we were being served, they just handed us the entrées so we had to place them on the table ourselves. I did not hear a thank you from the wait staff during the entire meal. At first I was wondering why the the staff was so unpleasant. I then figured it out. We were charged 18% gratuity on top of our bill. So therefore, they knew they were going to get a big tip already since the bill was $180. Will I ever go back to this place? Never! If you are in the Poconos area and want to have average Thai food and do not care about service, then this will be fine. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere.

Coming from New York and knowing what Thai food should taste like, since I am frequent customer of best Thai place in NY I have to say this place was very decent. It was delicious and I have to say it was my only decent meal in this part of PA. It's literally impossible to find a proper and somewhat decent place to eat around here. This will be my go to place when in the area.

Had to wait at the entrance a bit before someone came to say hi. Once they came, we began a great dining experience. The waitress was helpful, funny and gave some great recommendations. Everyone was hungry so we started pan seared tuna and cocoanut shrimp. Yummy! Entries were a mix of meat and noodle dishes and all were great. Ended the night with fried desserts (cheese cake, ice cream, banana & honey). Plenty to eat and take home. We will be back.

Long wait, cold food and awful pad Thai. Don't go if you have food allergies. I ordered steak pad Thai without peanuts or tofu. It came with peanuts and tofu then it seemed they wash it out and 2 mins later was back on the table. Old, weird steak. I had an allergic reaction right away. My husband's food was cold and they offered to heat it on the microwave.

After the GPS took me to 611north and could not find this place, arrived and was treated to a nice outside table. Basil Chicken fried rice was pre-cooked and 'warmed over' with a small Amt. Of basil and veggies. Just ok, may not try again for awhile.

I come out here to shoot my guns and I've driven by this place so many times, that when I finally drove by one time hungry, I decided to head in. Right off of foxtown hill road at the top of the hill, this little gem sits in a very unassuming spot (and they have a helluva view). I walked in expecting a fast food type of joint, but this place looked NICE especially since there are zero restaurants nearby. We were seated for lunch immediately and they had a pretty large menu. Prices varied, honestly on the high end, but this is a nice restaurant, not a corner fast food Thai place. We ordered the spring rolls and I had a Pad Thai with beef. The pad thai was $12 and change and the spring rolls were about $6 and change. Service was decently fast but it was during lunch so I would have expected better since we were the only ones there at 12:00 PM. The spring rolls were perfectly fried and delicious. The complimentary shrimp chips were also a nice touch. When I received my pad thai, I was a little shocked at the portion. It was quite large, so big points to this place for backing up their higher prices with good quantity of food. I'd have to say that I've had a few thai restaurants before and this pad thai was certainly one of the better ones I have had. Loved that everything was seasoned well, the herbs were fresh, and it was pretty perfect other than the fact the beef was not as tender as it could have been. I'd totally come back here again, one of the better dining experiences I've had in Stroudsburg.

Great service with delicious and authentic Thai food. Whenever we are in the area, this is our spot to eat when are craving thai food. The service is excellent and they are all attentive. It's like you are fine dining in a nice and fancy area when you first walk in. The waitress are very helpful and accommodating to help you in the menu choices. The food is authentic, as great as the one you would receive in NYC. If you want spicy curry, they will surely give you the spicy food...as my husband says a night in Bangkok will end you up a day in the bathroom, due to the spicy food. Everything is fresh, from meat to the seafood. Their drinks are uniquely different, but surely is tasty. They make this Thai Ice tea with alcohol, which is tasty. You will have a great time dining and enjoying your food when you go out there.

  • Jen R.

decent big-city thai on the water gap. nice atmosphere, decent lunch specials, a full bar, and attentive staff. that's all there is to say about that. as for the other reviews, however: thai is eaten with a fork, not chopsticks. any thai restaurant that lays out chopsticks without you asking for them is either not authentic or playing to your misinformed expectations that all asian food is eaten with chopsticks. and when you ask for chopsticks, they are thinking you are a douche clown while they smile and comply. kinda like in a sushi restaurant when you mix your wasabi into your soy sauce. bad etiquette.

I recently saw this little place while driving by and asked around if anyone had ever been there. I was surprised to find out almost all of the people I spoke to had been there and all thought it was really good food. We went there for dinner one evening and were not disappointed. The interior looked clean and comfortable but we decided to sit outside since it was a beautiful night. The view outside is really nice but there is some traffic noise that can be a little distracting. The service was very friendly and did a nice job. This is a smaller place out of the way so they don't staff it with a lot of people, the service was great but not the fastest - which is not a problem unless you are in a hurry, we were there to relax and enjoy dinner. The food was really good, the Pad I had was delicious and the entrée my wife had was great as well, I sampled it a few times... We look forward to returning and trying some of the other dishes.

This is a super cute Thai restaurant in Strousburg. When we rolled up their parking lot, they had music playing outside the restaurant which made it feel atmospheric. The whole place was decorated with Thai decor which had a nice warm feeling to it. The funny thing was, the firs time I was there I went at lunch, this time I went at dinner. I only then noticed the bar on the right, where they have a decent bar area and it's got a chill vibe to it at night, with flat screen TVs. I had their chicken green curry lunch special. It came with a rice noodle tofu soup, spiced with pepper and garlic, it had a zing to it that made my tummy hungry for my curry. The chicken green curry was good. It was the right portion, not too much, not too little. They had thinly sliced chicken, snow peas, red pepper, green pepper and eggplant. The green curry sauce was just right, served with the perfect scoop of steamed rice. My belly was definitely happy walking out of the restaurant, and all that costing me just under $10! The second time I went for dinner. It was definitely a little more pricey than lunch. An average dinner entree with chicken/ beef/ pork would be $13.95, if you are vegetarian it might be $1 or $2 off. It came with shrimp crackers/ chips in different colors. I grew up eating shrimp crackers, the ones I'm used to were a lot thicker, harder; Thai Thani's shrimp crackers were more thin and fresh, it came with some sort of sweet spicy thick red sauce, never had shrimp crackers with sauce either. Very interesting. I had their drunken noodle dish. It was flat noodles, fried with eggs, onion, red and green pepper, broccoli, chicken and really really fresh herbs (basil, and some other mysterious herb I think). The taste was phenomenal. Although it was a little on the greasy side, the herbs brought a spicy after kick to the dish. Thumps up! I had given this a 4 star the firs time I went, this second time I'm giving them a 5 star.

This place is pretty good overall. The owners and staff are very friendly. The food is good, not the best as I did notice a few mistakes like using a lemon wedge instead of lime for the pad Thai and some of the veggies weren't the freshest, but overall a good meal. Better than Saen imho. One mistake that I notice a lot of people making here is coming in and ordering individual entrees for everyone in their party and then eating with forks and knives. Thai Thani also uses cheap wooden chopsticks as if to say they don't want their customers using them. Prices are a little bit high for the Poconos as it seems like this place is catering to the NY NJ weekend tourists and they have priced everything to be commensurate with the income levels of NYC.

Get thee back Sian! When everyone talks about the Thai restaurant in Shawnee being good, this tells me they have never eaten at Thai Thani. This place is one of the best restaurants in the area. Now, i must confess that I have had the Curries and a few other dishes but everytime I go I usually order the Pad Thai because they have the best one I've ever had. Peanut Sauce is a tricky thing, people. Every Thai place makes their own and some just don't get it right but this one is spot on. Another plus is that I like my food spicy and I don't mean in that 'I like buffalo wings' way. That's for amateurs and I pride myself on my high capsaicin tolerance. I like it in that slow-burning yet savory way that comes from truly well-prepared spicy food. They give you an option of 1 to 5. I always choose 4 and this is pretty spicy. One of these days I'm going to take the plunge and do the full 5 and then give myself a high-five,

My husband and I have been coming here since they opened. EXCELLENT Thai food. Simply delicious. We don't eat meat, but we do eat fish and seafood, and the menu is very extensive for vegetarians and vegans. Lovely atmosphere. Service is professional and friendly. Some locals may tell you the "other" Thai restaurant is the good one. Not so. Go to Thai Thani.

I have been coming to this place for years. I mostly get take out now because I just mmoved nearby so its easier but I have eaten in and love it. Great food and service. I love the pad pra ram but have had other dishes and all are good. It is my recommendation for a Thai place in the area.

Thai Thani used to be a frequent take out place for us. (we swore off "eating in" here when they practically chased us off with a vacuum 5 minutes after closing time) We always loved the red curry, house special fried rice as well as other dishes we tried here and there. The last few times we ordered the red curry it was totally off. Way to much green beans and very little chicken....and the sauce just tasted totally different. I called the last time to try to to talk to someone to see if the recipe changed or maybe someone new was in the kitchen? Didn't get much of an answer from anyone- and nothing even remotely resembling an apology : ( tear... Maybe we will give it a try again soon to see if things have gotten better....for us a short drive to see Boon is our solution for our Thai fix.

Excellent authentic Thai food without being Americanized. Price and quality are superb here. The atmosphere is relaxing and sets the mood for the great food you are about to indulge in. To start we shared Curry Puffs & Chicken Satay which were both wonderful. The Curry Puffs are a blend of mashed potatoes and a mild curry tucked nicely in a light flaky pastry blanket and cooked to perfection. The classic Chicken Satay was just that. 3 chicken pieces skewered and grilled with a side of peanut sauce. For Dinner we each had something great. I had the Green Curry with Chicken which was absolutely perfect. Delicate bamboo shoots, fresh bell peppers, peas, eggplant, and garden fresh Thai basil leaves in coconut milk made up the Green Curry as it was accompanied by its best friend...White Rice. Masaman Curry with Beef was to my right. A wonderful peanut curry mild and tasty with fresh carrots, onions, potatoes, and ground peanuts. Another dish you should not miss! Across the table was another order of Masaman Curry but with chicken as well as their Lemongrass Pork dish. The tenderloin is perfectly marinated and grilled, served with fresh lemongrass, fresh garlic and pepper. All of the food was super. After not really eating any good Thai food since moving away from Portland, OR this place was top notch. From the service to the food to the bill, this place will be on my list each time I visit my family back east. Thank you Thai Thani!!

I've been to this restaurant twice and it's pretty consistent. The food is tasty and flavorful. The staff is nice but I wouldn't call them friendly. The service is fast and efficient and the restaurant itself is beautiful, family friendly and quiet. The drinks were not watered down but not too strong either. The prices are decent and the portions are generous. I gave it only 3 stars because the place seems to be missing something that I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe some music would liven the place up a bit. Overall, it's a pleasant experience and I would definitely eat here again and recommend this place to others.

After a month of a long over stay in the Poconos, my inner city ego had me screaming for a variety of food that didn't include the boring restaurant chains or fast food that one would typically find in Stroudsburg. I needed something more, something unique, and more importantly something ethnic to satisfy my colorful soul. My native tongue craved Thai food, and this was the closest Thai place to where I stayed. I had to go there twice because I didn't know that this place is closed on Mondays. So keep that in mind when you're planning. We caught the lunch special crowd, and there were great items on the menu. I, as usual, ordered the basil beef (Pad Krapow) while my boyfriend ordered the Pad See Ew. These are safe bets as it's hard to mess up something so good. My dish was delightfully flavorful but lacked a hint of authenticity. However, I didn't mind it as it was still delicious. I usually like my Basil Beef grounded and with just basil spice, but they Americanized the dish in just the perfect amount. And the Pad See Ew was amazing. Also, we ordered their Thai Iced Tea which is always refreshening. The decor makes you feel at home as it's very comfortable, inviting, and exotic. I can't remember my server's name, but she was super sweet and polite as most Thai people are. The only slight downside of this place is that I wasn't too fond of their portion size. I felt like they could have given more. But that's probably because I am so used to our super sized portion culture. Time for my fat ass to slim down.

This place has wonderful food! I ordered fried shrimp and brown rice (nice that you have the choice of white or brown!). The waiter asked on a scale of 0-5 how spicy I wanted it. I had ordered "3, " but I do believe I accidentally got either a "1" or "0," which actually was fine with me! (I tasted a friend's "3,." and it was pretty darned spicy, so I do advise you be careful when you order. If it's not spicy enough I'll bet they can fix it, or the next time you go (and I'm sure you will) you can bump your spice level up. The fried shrimp was delicious, and the rice contained nuts, raisins, and fresh pineapple. It was delicious. Very nice atmosphere, and very quiet. A wonderful dining experience!

Thai Thani is a regular haunt for us. I'd really like to give them five stars, but the quality and freshness of the food occasionally varies and a couple of times the time from order to table was too long (over 50 minutes). 95% of the time, and especially recently, the food has been great Thai -- perfectly spiced with fresh meats and veges. The sauces are super. Try the green curry if you aren't sure what to choose. Full bar and smiling wait people complete the picture. Top of Foxtown Hill above Delaware Water Gap.

At this point in time. This is the best Thai food I have ever had. I got some seafood dish with Mussels, Calamari, Shrimp, and Scallops in a Thai Chili sauce. The only thing I would change for the next time, no cilantro.

I was elated to find this gem in my hometown area soon after repatriating from two years spent in Thailand. Dishes I've had that have blown my mind have included the Som Tam, Pad Kee Mao, and Pad Thai. A person I've gone with several times swears by the Pad Cee Eew. Unfortunately their menu lacks two of my favorites--Laab Gai, and Kow Sawy (despite their Chiang Mai section). The ambiance is great, and their service is very friendly and attentive. Portions are generous enough that you should be able to take home a treat for later. But as with all Thai restaurants, it's good to go with a group, order many dishes, and enjoy them family style so everyone gets to taste around. If not, it's like going to an orgy where each person's confined to their own twin bed.

Thai Thani is a spacious, attractive restaurant, beautifully set in the middle of the Pocono mountains. We had Som Tom (papaya salad), beef larb, and char-grilled beef salad. We ordered the papaya salad as an appetizer, so that a level of heat could be established between us and the cook. We asked for "Thai spicy," and were completely satisfied with the heat, and with everything else about the papaya salad. The other dishes were as good as anything we are able to find in Manhattan or Queens. Service was splendid. I am delighted to have found such a terrific Thai retaurant in an unlikely location. I recommend it with confidence and enthusiasm.

Excellent Thai - one of the best in the area. Dined on Thai Ice Tea, Tom Kha Soup, Massaman Curry, and Drunken Noodles. All very good! Service was attentive and very pleasant. Open all day. Very fun!

You will have a great time dining and enjoying your food when you go out there.

decent big-city thai on the water gap. nice atmosphere, decent lunch specials, a full bar, and attentive staff. that's all there is to say about that. as for the other reviews, however: thai is eaten with a fork, not chopsticks. any thai restaurant that lays out chopsticks without you asking for them is either not authentic or playing to your misinformed expectations that all asian food is eaten with chopsticks. and when you ask for chopsticks, they are thinking you are a douche clown while they smile and comply. kinda like in a sushi restaurant when you mix your wasabi into your soy sauce. bad etiquette.

Great find. One of the few good places to eat. Good food & good service. Can't ask for more.

Great Restaurant outside downtown area. Food was delicious especially the chicken satay and green curry. Staff is a bit slow but the food is worth waiting for.

  • Alex C.

The service is incredibly inept and rude. The food is just "ok". Their parking is ample and view is quite pretty, but really, I can prepare better Thai food in my sleep. Do yourself a favor and go eat at Thai Orchid instead.

You will have a great time dining and enjoying your food when you go out there.

decent big-city thai on the water gap. nice atmosphere, decent lunch specials, a full bar, and attentive staff. that's all there is to say about that. as for the other reviews, however: thai is eaten with a fork, not chopsticks. any thai restaurant that lays out chopsticks without you asking for them is either not authentic or playing to your misinformed expectations that all asian food is eaten with chopsticks. and when you ask for chopsticks, they are thinking you are a douche clown while they smile and comply. kinda like in a sushi restaurant when you mix your wasabi into your soy sauce. bad etiquette.

Great find. One of the few good places to eat. Good food & good service. Can't ask for more.

I enjoyed the exceptionally fresh and perfectly prepared food while dining on the deck. The view of Lehigh Gap makes for a terrific outdoor dining experience. A bit expensive given its location, but highly recommended nevertheless.
