The best breakfast in East Stroudsburg. Service was above average and the food was very good. Nothing was over cooked and the environment was great. Quiet, family oriented and just very well balanced place to enjoy some good food in the morning.

This is a terrific family run diner where the food is made with love. You can tell this place is more than a business to the owners. Food is always tasty. I love the rice pudding. Great greek pastry too. You can get on the call list to know when they are being made fresh and put in your order.

Excellent, perhaps the best diner food I've ever had! We stopped for breakfast on our drive from NYC to Cincy today. Saw 5 stars & thought it was overstatement, but great food, friendly & prompt service. (Note that pin location on map was about a mile off, I reported this to Yelp & to Apple maps. Google maps has the correct location.)

The Arlington Diner lives up to every good review thats on Yelp, and the other review sites around the web. The atmosphere is so warm, friendly and inviting. We felt like family! Our server, Teresa, was so warm and lovely. Me and my girlfriend ADORED her. Even though we're from out of town, we swear we'd be back in town just to visit. Aside wonderful service, the food was fresh and delicious! If you're in town, definitely stop by. You won't be disappointed not one bit!

11 year Pocono resident...I have tried just about every diner around. This is by far the best! Clearly a favorite of the locals, since everyone seems to know everyone, friendly, family run diner that serves fresh and consistent food. I come for a late breakfast and always get poached eggs(perfect), corned beef hash and potatoes with the onions mixed in. They even have franks hot sauce instead of just tobassco. And even though I'm a creature of habit, all the food around looks just as good as mine. Maybe one day I'll venture to the pancakes...lol!

Great place for breakfast in the Poconos! Nothing fancy. Just great food, friendly staff and efficient service.

I stopped in for a late lunch after I read the other Yelp reviews. I ordered take out at the Counter. I was greeted swiftly by a Waitress. She was very friendly and immediately grabbed a water and a menu for me. I scanned tge menu & settled on the turkey dinner. It came with stuffing & gravy, 2 sides, soup or salad & your choice of bread. I opted for the potatos, gravy & steamed broccoli, chix & rice soup & corn bread. I also orderdd a slice of one if their famous pies (peanut butter). I actually supped on the chicken & rice soup while waiting for my take out order. The soup was hands down the best chicken & rice I have ever had. Clearly homemade, the broth was fresh & had just the right amount of white meat chix, rice, onion, celery & carrots. The Turkey dinner was fine. Not earth shatteringly good but decent. I would try something else if I went back just bc there was alot to choose from. The soup by far was tge stand out. I would order a bowl it was so delicious. The pie was very good also. I definitely would recommend this place for a solidly good meal in a welcoming atmosphere with quick friendly service.

We went here with our 2 children for breakfast. Everything was very good. Service was good as well. Took off a star for cleanliness. It could have been cleaner, floor was dirty under our table. Food was fresh and cooked to perfection! We would definitely go back.

A great place for breakfast or lunch. Really good food. Nothing fancy but a nice family diner. The service is exceptional and a nice place to get a meal. It's a great place if your on a budget and need a great dessert with your meal. I would recommend the pancakes and any of the omelettes yum You get what you pay for which is quality food.

Very friendly place. Lots of regulars. My mom and dad were fixtures here. Recently my mom passed away and I came here in her memory. They all knew her. Good diner food. Menu is typical American diner. Go there a few times, and you'll be a regular too.

This was my first time here and the service was fantastic. The owner and the waitresses were all friendly and attentive. They provide individual attention and fresh delights. Now I'm not a big pie person...but good lord these pies are home made and wonderful! Try the blueberry or the heavenly coconut custard. The chocolate custard was light and airy. These desserts are a must try. We also ordered the broiled flounder with butter lemon sauce, a chicken wrap and breakfast. I'm very pleased with this place and will return.

Stopped in tonight for a much-needed break on a long road trip. The place is spotless and comfortable, the server was great, and the food came out quickly and was hot and tasty. Kids had chicken fingers and fries which were perfectly fine, my wife had a turkey club, and I had one of their specialty burgers, a cheeseburger with Taylor ham and fried onions. The burger was delicious, and the turkey in the club was fresh and tasty and the bacon was crispy. Beefy gravy on the fries was a treat. Prices also seemed very reasonable, and it's easy on/off from Route 80. We'll definitely be back.

The Arlington is our go-to place when we feel like going out for a decent meal that is always well prepared and an excellent value. This is much homier than your typical diner. Staff are friendly, place is always SPOTLESS, and comfortable. I've never been disappointed. This is not gourmet dining but it is very good and considerably better than any of the other diner-type choices in the area I would be very surprised if you didn't find yourself going back there regularly.
