Been to this place many times, but today will be the last. For starters, our waitress (for a party of 5 at lunch) was extremely grumpy. She was visibly annoyed when I asked her if I could get the homemade raviolis (typically available only after 4) and she said she'd ask. She came back and told me the kitchen was too busy. I smiled as looking around I could quickly see two other patrons eating them, and exactly as she was telling me this I saw another waiter walk by with another order of ravioli. I decided to order a turkey club, but asked for mayo to be replaced with mustard. Simple right? She brought me the club with mustard on the side. Think about it? On the side? Am I going to "disassemble" the club so that I can put mustard on every single piece of bread? Wouldn't it have been easy for the cook? Seriously lazy.. Plus, the bread had clearly been toasted 10min before: it was rock hard and I just ended up picking up the turkey and bacon from the club and leaving everything else on the plate. Other members of our party had mixed results. The calzone was good (and huge), but different pastas were unimpressive with very blend sauces and sausages that had a "frozen" smell to them. The cheesesteak was well liked as well. I had been to HDP many times before this. Most often for the pizza which is decent -- nothing I'd crave. But today's terrible service & food added to the fact that this place looks like a high school cafeteria makes me certain I won't be going back. There are just much better italian/pizza places in town.

Average pizza, not much flavor, svc was very good.

Definitely a fan. Only been 1 time but want to go back. Beer is pretty good - I'm kind of picky (ie: pretty much only like unfiltered wheats) but I enjoyed both beers I had there (1 wheat, 1 porter). The wood-fired pizza w/ beer cheese sauce was yummy. The sauce had a bit of a kick to it which is a nice change from most resto's plain (boring) beer cheese dipping sauces. My BF got a cheesesteak on recommendation from the waitress. It's "California-style" so not dripping in Cheez-Whiz. I had asked for sides of dressing for my mediterranean salad but it came fully dressed - thankfully it wasn't swimming in dressing, but I think it would have been better without the dressing on it making it soggy. The salad was OK; the menu's huge w/ a pretty good amount of gluten-free options so I'll go back. Staff was very friendly too and the place is pretty large, with 2 bars, lots of seating areas & TVs.

Not even good for State College delivery food. Home Delivery wants you to overlook the mediocre nature of its food by offering you a ridiculous number of options to choose from. Don't be fooled. The food is incredibly subpar for the price, or, well, any price. Most recently I ate a buffalo chicken sandwich, which came on a bun that had the flavor and consistency of a stress ball. I also got the beer battered fries, which were completely burned, yet somehow managed to be the best part of the meal. Sadly, I ate like royalty compared to my fiancee. She ordered the macaroni and cheese. What she got was some pasta and leftover pizza toppings floating in clear, tasteless goo. And, for some odd reason, it came with marinara sauce. For, uh, dipping? And then there were the "tots". Look...I'm not sure if there's a dictionary definition for what a tot is. If there is, this ain't it. This was a lump of what could only be the world's oldest mashed potatoes mixed with something I can only assume was jokingly referred to as chorizo (it tasted more like hot dogs), fried mercilessly to a crisp. And the piece de resistance? The "house made" ketchup promised on the menu? Heinz packets. That must be one busy house.

I used to come here all the time, and I recently came back into town for a visit and its still the same delicious place I remember. The wings are great and I wish I lived closer to eat here more often.

Of all my visits to Home Delivery, I've been very satisfied. The wait staff is usually really friendly and provide quick service. I always get the calzone or Stromboli. I think they are the best bang for your buck---they rarely ever disappoint. Last time I was there, we sat in the new outdoor space. It was awesome. I look forward to going back and spending more time in the space.

I came here on a late night after my arrival. There weren't too many places open at that time and I came here for late dinner, around 11PM. I had a Philly Cheesesteak and it was OK. The bartender was pretty cool but other than that, nothing to scream about.

Decent pizza, good atmosphere, real good 50 cent wings on Mondays!

This place is clean, the bar staff is knowledgeable, the servers are wonderfully friendly, and the food is delicious, what more could you ask for? It is so important to emphasize, really, that the Italian food here has FLAVOR! The flavor sits on your tongue and gets your attention. It's not like the automatic eating you'll do at a big chain! On the other hand, I found that a few items on the menu seemed overpriced.

This place is loud and dirty. When I was seated I had to wait 20 more minutes for the waitor to come. She turned out to be grumpy and rude. The water smells bad. The salads were horrible and the dressing has lumps in it. The pizza is cold and taste like it was made in a microwave. I got into a fight about the pizza because they wouldn't let me out anything but pepperoni on the pizza. She said she would check but she came back and said the kitchen was too busy. They had good fish.I won't be back.

Ahh, Home Delivery, your reputation precedes you in so many ways. Hailing from NEPA, where there are tons of options for great pizza, I found the State College Pizza scene to be lacking in many ways. When I moved to the State College area last fall I made sure to ask around, and I was told by many locals that Home Delivery was THE PLACE to order Pizza in Centre county. People went out of their way to talk about how amazing the pizza was at "HomeD", and how it easily trumped every other pie in the area. Since everyone raves about their pizza, I have decided to review just that. They have plenty of other fare on their menu (and some of it sounds delicious), but this is strictly pizza. The fact is, for State College this is "good pizza". Anywhere else and I think it falls in the mediocre category. I don't understand nor do I think the place deserves the hype that surrounds it. It's good, nothing great, simple as that. Normally for pizza to be amazing, it has to do every ingredient very well, or one ingredient so perfectly that it makes it very hard to forget. That being said, your HomeD pie will have OK dough, OK sauce, and OK cheese. There's not one aspect of the pizza that stands out and leaves you saying "Wow, I really liked ___________" . If you're in State College and you want the true "State College Experience", you go here for pizza. You might enjoy it, you might not. Truth be told, I would be happier spending $7 or 8 on a higher-quality frozen pizza and making it in the comfort of my home than making the trek to HomeD.

Back again last wednesday night and I still love this place! Tuscan bean soup is officially a favorite of mine now, and the salad I had (blue cheese, walnuts, etc) was super yum. Great beverages and excellent service. So many awesome options on the menu, and I've never waited for food.

Great menu to choose from and the food is very good. My favorites are The Godfather and The Pot Roast and of course the 9 at 9:00pm on any size pizza and topping any day. You can't beat that deal and it's so good. I can't wait to go back.

Last week, I fancied myself a jaunt to visit the lovely and illustrious Carrie Y. Kyle: "Methinks 'twould be fine to visit with thee in the coming months." Carrie: "That'd be fun!" Kyle: "I shall fly in the belly of a giant bird!" Carrie: "I live 45 minutes from there*. Yeah, ok. " Kyle: "I shall await thee in Pittsburgh!" It seems last time I looked up directions State College, PA I lived much further from where I do now, which makes sense, as I've lived a variety of places. So I thought I'd fly to the Burgh, the lovely Carrie would swoop me up, and away we would go to this town called State College, a short drive away. This was not to be. It seems State College is 3 hours from Pittsburgh. I want to make sure everything is clear: I flew an hour to PIttsburgh. Carrie drove three hours to pick me up. I could have taken a four hour bus directly to her town. Somehow she still likes me. Somehow she wasn't pissed/annoyed/thinking I'm completely stupid** The icing on the cake? The reason why this woman rules? She ate wings with me three, not two, not one, but three out of the four nights I was visiting. The other night I had a salad. You know. Which is awesome because State College has a shit ton of decent wings. Including at Home Delivery, the most terribly named place in the world. *Apparently, she never said that. **Also may not be true.

I've been to Home Delivery several times and have ordered take-out several times as well. It's one of those places that I get a craving for. We've ordered a variety of foods. Everything from pizza and calzones to salads and wings. The food is nothing spectacular. I wish the menu was smaller because to be honest, it's overwhelming. A lot of the food seems to be soaked in balsamic or brushed in too much olive oil, but if you look past that, it's not too bad. I like how the restaurant is split into two different atmospheres. I like both the bar and quiet restaurant area. The service is usually pretty good, too. It seems the same crew has been working there for years, which I like.

This place has a menu fit for a king. It has everything and everything is made exceptionally well. There has to be 200+ items on their menu from pizza to something a little different like chicken saltimbocca. Plus is has a full bar and 6 packs to go.

Love their pizza! It is the best delivery pizza in State College. The pepperoni and mushroom is my favorite, and their delivery is always fast and the pizza hot! They have a great greek salad too!

I've never had the experience of dining in but I was a frequent fan of their delivery. The provolone sticks were absolutely delish and I fell in love with their great selection of appetizers (they're more traditional and unique than the average Italian take out, at least as far as State College's selection is concerned). Balsamic glazed porkchops! Their pizza and calzones however were alright: they were far too doughy for my personal tastes- I'm used to my pies crispy and buttery. My main complaint however was for the price, the food would be awfully cold by the time it arrived. I realize it's a busy hot spot but considering they were a little on the expensive side, I would at least expect hot food as opposed to lukewarm, especially since I lived pretty close to where they were located. Regardless, this was the closest to decent Italian digs I could find in the region without spending an arm and a leg. I could imagine the food easily being so much tastier when eaten fresh.

Monday Night is Wing night, with 50 cent wings, with tons of other delicious items item on the menu. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere is great especially since they've gone non-smoking throughout. Flat screens very easily viewed everywhere. 6 packs and 12 packs to go. Parking situation still needs improved, lighting, signage, etc, despite past improvements. The second location in Bellefonte has much more room, a pool room and better parking. Local Wing-nite listings: Monday - Home Delivery, Damons, J.P. Edwards, Champs (lousy) Tuesday - Zachs (Altoona), Hofbrau, Quaker Steak Wednesday - Ottos, Duffy's Thursday - Bonfattos, Prospectors, Kelly's Steak House Friday - Saturday - Sunday - GMan (home football games)

Went for lunch at about 11:30. Wasn't busy when we got there but really picked up as lunch crowd started coming in. Big inside a bar on either side. Since it was a business lunch I couldn't try their beer. Another time. There were numerous servers but the food took forever to come out. Thankfully it was excellent. I would give it 4 stars for food and 2 for long wait so I'll give it a 3 for now but I will go back to give them another chance and to try the beer.

From other reviews, it seems like this place is a hit or miss. I would normally have given this place a 3 star for being average, but thanks to their renovations and their after-9pm specials, I threw in another star. They really are trying to make their customers happy. Fortunately my experiences with them both in the past and now have been very good. Their renovations years ago really turned the dining experience around. I've always had good luck in getting waiters and waitresses who are smiling, attentive, and polite. And their pizza is always decent. Not exceptional or anything, but solid all around. I used to deliver pizza for this place back in the early 90s when I was a teenager. They treated the staff ok back then, and I saw their food first hand: it was decent, but nothing special. They kept the kitchen fairly clean considering how much product they were turning over on a Friday or Saturday night. I've also ordered delivery from them. I've enjoyed their appetizers and pierogies a few times. Food arrives relatively quickly given that this isn't a chain. About 30 minutes around lunch time and up to 45 minutes during a busy night. I recently dined here one late evening with my wife and our friends. Our waiter was friendly, food came out quickly, and he only made one mistake with the drinks, but apologized quickly corrected it. The order was accurate, and the pizza pretty good. Lots of toppings. Just one caveat: don't order broccoli on your pizza, as they don't pre-cook it, and it doesn't cook all the way in the pizza oven, so it ends up being more on the raw, super-crunchy side.

The food was absolutely terrible and both my husband and I got sick. I'm not sure how you mess up a basic pasta dish, a chicken sandwich and bbq wings. Even if it didn't make us sick, the quality of the food was truly awful. The service was below average. The manager never came to our table when we told our waitress we didn't eat our food because we both felt ill after 1 bite. Don't waste your money.

Awesome Greek Salad with a huge portion, great for sharing. The Margherita Pizza was ok. Was going for chunky tomatoes with fresh mozzarella & more basil. Pizza came with a thin tomato sauce, seemed like shredded cheese and small strips of basil. Pizza crust was good and fresh.

We've eaten here several times while visiting family in State College. Service has always been good and the food has been good. The last time we were there my wife and I decided to split a large calzone. All I can say is we ended up getting 3 meals (six servings out of it). Why do places think that quantity is more important than quality? Over all I would classify this as a please we eat at again but not a place that would be our first choice.

Besides a title that makes no logical sense, we've enjoyed both of our visits to Home D., and it is becoming a favorite with our family. Our first visit was on a nearly-empty day, and we were impressed with the pizza. This past Sunday night, after a busy weekend at THON, the joint was jumpin', but we were seated quickly. However, the service of the food was a bit on the slow side, with nearly a two-hour "in until out" meal time...which was longer then we'd have liked, as we had miles to cover to get home. However, the food didn't disappoint...pizza was good with the kids, spaghetti and meatballs was great, and my wife liked her chicken parm. My pulled pork KC Smokehouse bagette was good, but kind of short on the pork, the important ingredient. Still, the menu is amazing, and from what we've sampled, the food is quite good. Interior consists of two rooms; one, a sports bar with TV's and high tables, and the other a slightly more formal dining room. Nice atmosphere, but loud in the sports bar area. My only gripe was the parking, that was packed on this Sunday night, and the construction aside the resturaunt doesn't currently help the situation. Well, that, and the wait time. It's a place that's bound to keep us coming back.

Onion rings are awesome! So between the california cheese steak and the onion rings, i've found things that are great on the menu here.

Very expensive for what you get. Would not recommend this place to friends, it's just so pricey. A pretzel is $7, or some pasta $14. Maybe I'm just a broke college kid but this place is definitely not worth the prices.

As I write this review I'm sitting in my car about to pull away from Home D. I went to check out their new renovation and was seated promptly outside. Then I proceeded to wait at my seat for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment or greeting from a server. Two servers walked past me without greeting or recognizing that I was there. There's nothing worse than bad service, except no service and that's what I received. Its a shame too, because I was excited to try out some of the new menu items.

Over the last two years we've been trying to finish off gift cards that were given to us. Between "Home D" burning subs, adding onions when specifically asked not to and the majority of the food being sub par. We won't be back again. The pizza is pretty good though if thats what you're going for.

Opted for the cheese steak with the Cheese-Whiz option and beer battered fries. The steak was yum and lots of it. 10 oz. of meat on 14" of bun. Winner!!!

My family is obsessed with this place. I don't know why, but everytime I visit my parents, there is usually an excuse to come here. Normally, my dad picks up pizza from here. I hate it. It's super greasy and too much fake cheese to sugary sauce ratio. The crust though, isn't bad but it doesn't make up for the rest of it. When I dined here with my grandma the other day, I ordered ghnocci which actually was cooked very well. This dish will be my safety net against the awful pizza. For the most part, I've had good service here and the new renovations look nice. I just don't like the food and would rather go elsewhere in this tiny town.

Great service and phenomenal food combined with an awesome choice of beers. I visit both locations around once a month and the Uncle Guido (steak wrap) is absolutely wonderful. When I want to shake it up and go the pizza route is fresh and delicious.

We waited 30 minutes for our food. The place wasn't crowded. I was charged 80 cents each for extra side of aoli sauce and I asked for greens instead of chips and I got a fist full of iceberg. The bellefonte home d is way better.

  • Carolyn Y.

Food here is ok. Not great but not bad. However the service is awful. We waited for service for a long time and that was the theme of the night. Long time to take our order. Long time to bring drinks. Forever to bring our food. 20 minutes after we ordered they told us they were out of our appetizer. Oh and when our food finally came we had to wait again because we had no silverware. Just bad, inattentive and under trained servers. And don't you know that appetizer was still on our bill when we got our check. They need to take a step back and focus on training their wait staff how to be a wait staff.

    (1)
  • Corey C.

The food was ok, but the wait time was terrible. My wife and I waited over a half hour for onion rings and to top it off they forgot the ranch dressing I requested for the onion rings. We also waited that long for a side salad and soup. My ice tea tasted like plastic and I'm pretty sure it was because of the ice from the igloo cooler. We sat outside so that is were the ice came from. My wife got the shrimp po' boy she said it was good and there home brewed beer "Robin Hood brewery" was also good. However my Pittsburgh style sandwich was very soggy and it seemed like it sat for awhile before it got to me. Not sure if we will be going back.

In all fairness, I am a pizza snob. I grew up in the NYC region eating thin crust pizza that I can no longer take for granted. So when I'm craving pizza in State College, I have to drop my standards. Then drop them some more. Than when it seems like they can't get any lower (Gumby's anyone?) I'll drop them a little lower. That said, I actually like Home Delivery pizza. For pizza in State College, it's pretty OK. My favorite is the white pizza with red roasted peppers, broccoli, garlic, olives, and tomatoes. I also enjoy the provolone sticks. But the "green salad?" It's all iceberg lettuce and literally no greens! I need some romaine, some baby spinach, something, anything GREEN in my "green salad!" Atmosphere-wise, it's a pretty chill place to have a couple beers while waiting for your pizza. As an adult living in a college town, I appreciate an atmosphere where other adults hang out, and this is one of those few places. But when it comes to delivery, they need to fix two problems. First, the outrageous "delivery fee" and "service charge" HAS GOT TO GO. These fees drive up the prices and probably cause the drivers to earn very few tips. (I know that I've been unable to tip the drivers well enough thanks to these fees. This directly reflects how management treats its workers, and that's pretty important to me when it comes to where I give what little money I have.) Second, don't wait until you're hungry to order delivery. Place your order an hour before you think you'll be hungry. I live right down the road and it usually takes them about an hour to get me my pizza, even when the people on the phone tell me otherwise. (What are they doing with that "delivery fee" anyways?)

We've been here several times with family, each time less impressed than before. Being veg, we avoided usually because besides the pizza, there wasn't much for us. When trying to decide where to go tonight, I noticed their menu had some new options. We decided on the hummus as an app. Online it says it comes with a soft pretzel. In actuality it's "pretzel bread." But first, lemme warn any vegans, or anyone who expects food to come as described on the menu, that for some reason every part of the hummus platter has shredded mozzarella on it...even the hummus. The cucumber, the tomato, bread, everything. We sent it back for them to remake, in the meantime our pizza was already being made. Consequently when the pizza came out after we were finished with the hummus, it was reheated and not fresh. I couldn't believe it. Worst pizza from a place that has "pizza" in their name in a long time. Btw, the bread wasn't bread with the hummus. It was toast...super hard, barely edible toast. The only positive was their beer, which was surprisingly very good. The porter and holiday beer were super good. They were reasonably priced, too. Bottom line, if u want a few beers, check it out. Food? Go somewhere else.

Everything I've ever gotten from here was tasty. On my most recent visit, I was happy to find out that they have lunch specials, even on the weekend. I got the combo deal for $8.99 where you get to choose two items from the three columns. I went for french onion soup ( delicious) and the Michelangelo, which was a hot pressed sandwich of yummyness. They have a pub and a restaurant, so you can choose what type of atmosphere you would like to dine in. Yay for choices!

I've enjoyed eating at Home D, both dining in and getting delivery. Their service is usually friendly (though delivery tends to take an hour or more) and the food is good. However, the prices have been rising very steadily. While I think the food is good, I no longer consider it worth the value.

Again, I want an extra half star. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't really A-OK. Service was not the problem but they were not exactly busy either. The beer drinkers said what they had was decent and we did get lemon with water as requested. Server even checked on us regularly and refilled water which can be a problem even in nicer places. The issue was the food just wasn't really beyond 'meh'. The seasonal salads were just a pile of iceberg lettuce with one slice of tiny tomato, two slices of cucumber and a hint of shredded carrot. The parmesan pepper dressing tasted like neither. As it is summer I guess we all expected a mix of fresh greens and perhaps a cherry tomato or two as we are well into tomato season. Pizza, one veggie and one meat lovers. The meat lovers was ok enough but the veggie pizza was lacking in flavor (extra spices tend to be needed when you don't get salt and seasoning from meat folks) and it was decidedly undercooked. The dough wasn't cooked through on the bottom and the veggies weren't even warm. Waitress did offer to have another one made but we settled for having it put back in the oven for a few minutes on the tray. Really wasn't much improved but don't blame the server for that, again she was probably slightly above average. Both pizzas needed the extra spices and cheese available at the table added to up the flavor. The menu is quite large for a pizza place and perhaps they do other things quite well but the pizza wasn't really worth going back for and the salad was just plain disappointing.

  • Justin A.

Average. That's the best I can say about it. Nothing was BAD, but nothing was GOOD either. The service was good, but seemed rushed. We ordered a small pep sausage pizza, and it was okay. My meatball grinder was not as good as Subways (and triple the price) the meatballs truly were tasteless. There was ample mozzarella and sauce, and the bread was great, but if the bread is the best part of your sub... What does that say? The big elephant in the room is the price. My bland boring meatball sub was 13$. The place is just too expensive for what you get. Home D started off as a great pizza and wings place, but now it's turned into a micro brewery of sorts, and everything else has suffered. There is one bright spot... The Home Delivery in Bellefonte is fantastic. So of you want to try HDPizza, go the extra 20 minutes.

I love this place! Without fail, I always visit Home D whenever I'm in town. I'm moving back to State College and am sure this will be a regular restaurant visit. The kitchen can sometimes take a while but overall, great atmosphere and awesome food. Always pleased with my order and the beer selection. Personal favorite is the pizzas and subs- cannot go wrong with either!

Updating my review since the renovations and menu changes here. Sadly Home D went from one of my favorite places to eat to somewhere I probably won't return to. The menu has changed- and with those changes went most of my favorite meals and desserts. The addition of wood-fired pizza is cool, but sadly not available for take out. Some of the new appetizers and entrees sound hip and tasty, but don't really deliver on the promise. Home D definitely went from "Yay" to "Meh" in my book.

We have eaten at Home Delivery Pizza several times over the past few years, usually getting an order of wings and a pizza. This visit to State College, we were looking forward to eating there again after its new renovations. As another reviewer wrote here - - What Happened???? We decided this time to try something besides the pizza. My husband ordered a Shrimp Po-Boy and I ordered the Smokehouse Pork on a baguette. Blech!!! Neither of us could eat what we had ordered, so we switched, as we found we could at least tolerate each other's food better. My pork sandwich literally tasted as if it had been held over a burning house. It didn't taste "smoked", it tasted like smoke. It also tasted totally un-fresh, as if it had been made hours before and just lightly warmed up for me. I saw no hint of cheese or any slaw or any garlic sauce; only a tiny amount of something resembling very bitter, very wilted lettuce. My husband's po-boy was nothing more than a pile of fried shrimp thrown on a dry roll with a teaspoon of pink sauce on top that may have covered 2-3 shrimp at most; there was also a side cup of "ketchup". A po-boy's very essence is that it is drippy and gooey, with sauce and shredded lettuce, tomato, maybe a pickle, but LOTS of SAUCE. This had NO FLAVOR, it was just a pile of fried shrimp, and not even breaded with cornmeal! I will say tho that the mango wings were good. I would've given this review 1 star, but the wings were still good, and since we didn't order the pizza this time, it may still be good as well. At the end of this disaster meal we were still looking forward to the restaurant's "Tower" desserts - NOPE, they don't make them anymore. Sadly Home Delivery Pizza just doesn't deliver anymore. We will not be back!

The cost of a new addition to the building could have been spent on other things such as customer service, more employee's and training on how to serve customers. My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday to grab a bite to eat and decided to try some of their new items on their menu.....wrong. Try not to reinvent the wheel here please. My wife ordered the Cincinnati ( a foot long hot dog with chili and a pile of shredded cheese) well that's what they say on the menu. What she got was something like that. The hot dog itself was a foot long but not much bigger than my pinky as far as thickness (more like a beef stick). The chili tasted like something I cant say here.( Could have had a better chili from a can ), and a far as the pile of shredded cheese....well I'm not sure there was any on it. Anyway, buyer beware for about $8.00. Hardly ever saw our waiter and they could have made a hell of a lot more money off of me but not now. Spent way to long in there....thought we could get in and get out without spending a few hours there. Remember, hire more people, train them right and staff your restaurant ( oh and don't reinvent the food menu or find a new chef or cooks) and do taste testing before placing items on menu and then maybe they will come....as of now good luck making money to pay off your Taj Mahal, bigger is not always better. I use to like this place but I guess I'll just stop by for a beer from time to time....guess you can't screw that up to much...well maybe there they could if you can get one. After reading a few of these reviews I concur with the one star ratings. Severely Disappointed with the place.

I come from Youngstown, Ohio, where good pizza and Italian-American fare are standard, so I'm accustomed to good, cheap pizza, pasta and sandwiches. HD Pizza didn't measure up. I've eaten there twice now and I can say that their appetizers and desserts are very good, but the main dishes I had were pretty lame. On my initial visit I ordered an eggplant sandwich with field greens and cheese. It was pretty tasteless and required marinara sauce to make it edible. On my second visit I ordered a BBQ chicken salad. It came with pieces of chicken with BBQ sauce poured over them, not chicken cooked in BBQ sauce. The salad was also supposed to come with fries, but the fries were nearly non-existent and were cold when the dish arrived at table. The folks I ate with were pretty positive about the gnocchi and other hot sandwiches. Any appetizer I've ever had there was excellent and their onion rings in particular are crisp and tasty, so perhaps their strength is in fried foods and their desserts. Finally, most of the drinks we've ordered have been generous and well-made. Perhaps the best time to come would be later at night for drinks and snacks.

Meh, I've had better. Would probably go for a 2.5 Stars. The sandwich I ordered, the Pittsburgh Cheese Steak had VERY little meat and the coleslaw tasted slightly 'off.' Also tried the chorizo tater tot things and they were quite forgettable (oddly enough didn't taste like either chorizo or potato...), and the homemade ketchup was pretty gross (pretty sure they mixed Worcestershire sauce with crushed tomatoes haha). Girlfriend had some spinach salad thing that she liked. She also had the Fettucini Alfredo which I tried. It wasn't bad by any means, but it also wasn't very good; very bland. All in all nothing was "technically" wrong with the meal, other than the sandwich proportions/taste, but it also didn't really impress. I suppose in a pinch this place will do. Oh, and delivery was quoted at 45 minutes but took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive, odd for a place with delivery in their name.

Really mediocre wings, both the garlic & medium hot. Very disappointed.

I love their late hours and their $9 after 9:00pm deal on weekdays, were you can get any size pizza with any, ANY amount of toppings for $9... I've gone there many late nights for pizza and a beer. Casual atmosphere and both a restaurant and a bar setting to choose from.

I am really not a big fan of Home Delivery. I haven't really had significantly bad experience, but I find their food mediocre at best. The fries are bad. I haven't tried all the new desserts but all the old ones were unimpressive. Overall, overpriced for the quality, or unnessisary quantity.

We just finished dinner and it was very good. We had the small spinach salad and the Margarita pizza. The pizza was thin crust just like we prefer. We tried pepperoni on the pizza and didn't like it as much as chicken (which they didn't offer). We just took it off and the pizza was good. The spinach salad was delicious with the suggested dressing on the side. We were a little apprehensive to try this restaurant due to other Yelp reviews but were very pleased with our meal

If there were no stars, that would be my rating. Two hour 45 minute delivery time for a tuna sub and a cheese steak and O'rings. The cheese steak had no cheese nor the extra lettuce and mushrooms that were extra. Called them after 2 hours and they lied and said that the order had left. It arrived 45 minutes later as we were again talking to the manager on duty. Awful!

It's been a struggle to find a good pizza place in State College. I'm kind of a pizza snob, but their wood-oven pizza (sit-in only!) was pretty good. Probably the best that I've found in State College. Haven't tried their to-go pizza, but I'm coming back for the wood-oven. Salads were pretty good too. I actually found the service good. The waitress was very sweet and attentive.

Really average Italian food. There were six of us and they screwed up two of those meals. My water glass was not only chipped but cracked from rim to base - and no one noticed until they gave it to me?? My mother ate here days before and told me how a little kid pulled the fire alarm and it took over twenty minutes to disable because no one knew how. Yes the sauce and crust had a good flavor but the staff is a ship of fools. Get a new name (yes it sucks) and management and perhaps I'd return.

We love Home Delivery Food and now the hubby is a huge fan of the beer. We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was great. The food came out in a timely manner considering the amount of people we had in the party. I had the Chicken Alfredo the last time we were in, it was delicious. Usually I go with the Calzone or Stromboli. They are huge portions and great for sharing or taking home to enjoy the next day.

A group of us used to eat here all the time... sometimes 4 or 5 times a week. After some poor service issues, we stopped coming for about 3 months. Today, we tried it again. It was a mistake. We paid $14 for Tortellini with vodka sauce that didn't even come with bread or a salad. $14 for a Steak salad that had 4 charred pieces of meat that were barely edible. Our appetizer was potato skins, they came out cold/frozen in the middle. I was sincerely hoping to have a great meal. I used to love this place. Now it's SEVERELY over priced for the quality of food. We were the second customers in the restaurant so there excuse for cold food.. Unfortunately don't plan to return... sad day.

Went on away football week, but still plenty of folks. Lots of tv screens, but they didn't have the volleyball game when their #1 team played #2. Rather had the tam vs ash game on most of the 50% of the screens. Ordered beer, great selection and good quality. Like that they have a beer on nitro. Ordered two pizzas which were above average. Service however was poor. Pizzas took almost one hour from order time and server never stooped to explain delay and when it came out no insight. Maybe long delay is normal? Also she asked if we wanted more beer, but never refilled our waters. Pizza-2.5 stars Beer - 4 stars Service - 1 star

The story with this place is always the same. The service is poor, the food is average, the beer isn't very good by micro brew standards and the execution is never consistent. On paper, it should be fantastic. They have some really good ideas for specials, entrees, and drinks, but then can never deliver the kind on the image they market. We went there recently for a burger and margarita special. We waited 10-15 minutes on every drink. Our server was pretty much non existent. Our first drink was excellent, exactly how we ordered it. The second one was horrible. It was almost as if they didn't put in any tequila, which was really troubling since we paid an up charge for good tequila. It rained while we were out on the patio. We toughed it out under our umbrella, but afterwords, no one came by to wipe off our table, see if we needed anything else, or help us get checked out. They just quit after the storm. It's especially troubling when you can see staff out back smoking or inside counting tips at shift change, but no one can bother to come by your table. I have had similar experiences for lunch, brunch, and dinner. Granted, it isn't as bad as Jim's in Bellefonte, but you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't just go up the street to Facia Luna.

Terrible service would keep me from returning. Waited at least 15 minutes without being acknowledged. After flagging down host, he said server was busy, and he took our drink order. Server arrives, and says she will take drink order, makes table of six reorder, takes food order at same time. House brewed beers come out, but we have to wait for other beers, for unknown reason. Beer was pretty good. My water tasted faintly of cola, as if the glass wasn't clean. Switched with my husband, but he couldn't take the sweet, off taste either. Having to send back water is not a good sign. Food took an hour. The soup I ordered as a meal finally came out when everyone was finished eating. Shrimp "chowder" that had decent but thin bisque-like broth, with three chips of veg and 4-5 small frozen shrimp thrown in before serving. The shrimp were barely cooked and flavorless, so they obviously were not cooked in the soup. Pretzel was good, but more like a loaf of bread that they sell for $7. My husband really enjoyed his burger, but he was really hungry and a little tipsy from the hour wait. The bite I had barely had a hint of blue cheese, but the beef was tender and the bun was good. My sister's Caesar chicken wrap came with the warning that the plate was really hot. Why would you heat a plate with a salad wrap and chips on it? Didn't check the bill to see if they really comped the late soup, like they said they would. Service was so poor, and food so mediocre that I would only return for beer at the bar.

Food is yummy. I had the Marguerite pizza. Fresh basil and the garlic salted crust made this yummy. Staff is helpful and courteous. The beer selection from Robin Hood Brewery seems extensive. The Friar Tuck, while dark, was not bitter and had a nice finish. My husband had the chose your own calzone. He made a perfect match of pepperoni and bacon and extra cheese. Can't wait to come back.

Pooches on the Patio we love your food and atmosphere, but didn't start coming often until we heard about your pooches on the patio program (Monday's only and you must bring Rabies paperwork and sign a liability form). We hope that you would consider expanding this program next year to everyday. We have been there every Monday for the last 7-8 weeks and tell everyone we know about your program. If there is anything else I can do to help promote this program or encourage you to extend it, please let me know. And would like to point out that Baxter tags you in his Instagram posts (he has over 1000 followers) and all his friends now where to find him on a Monday! Great happy hour, great service and a great business!! We appreciate you allowing our family to sit on your patio!
