Since The Bagel Bin closed this summer, I have been in search of a new morning bagel place. I decided to check out The Bagel Factory in Springfield. I ordered two breakfast sandwiches and a cup of coffee. While the coffee seemed fresh and to my liking taste-wise (French Vanilla flavored), I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a regular coffee. All of the available coffees were flavored with the exception of the decaf. The bacon in my sandwich was average, a little on the chewy side. I prefer crisp bacon. The egg was fried on the spot--none of that processed, tasteless mess that you find on McDonald's breakfast sandwiches. The bagels were tasty but a bit on the chewy side. I prefer a crisper bagel. The servers were friendly and completed my order in a timely fashion. There are plenty of places to sit if you wish to dine in. Overall, I give this place a 3 for average food and coffee quality along with timeliness of order. I have made this my new bagel spot for now, so I am definitely open-minded and will come back on here and edit this review if I think that this place has earned additional stars.

Sorry Bagel Factory..You need to learn how to CLEAN the place once in a while. My last visit there was disgusting. Not only were the flies buzzing in the window, but a huge cockroach was right by my table. The manager is a bit odd. I do hope the owners see this review. I won't be back!! RAHK

Stopped by this week for a quick breakfast meeting with a business associate. I was pleasantly surprised. The place was bright and clean. Lots and lots of fresh bagels just about every way you can imagine. Plenty of bagel/egg/meat sandwiches. Breakfast for both me and my friend was fresh and tasty. They also have a lunch menu. I plan to return and give it a try.

The environment in here sucks. No other way of putting it. Felt like a fast food spot, cattle being herded through the gates and out the door. No niceties exchanged with the clerk, no eye contact, just bagel order, payment, and out the door. Its a good thing the bagels were pretty good. Not anywhere near as good as Custom Bagels in nearby Media, but on a Sunday (when Custom is tragically closed) this spot will do. How do you know if a bagel is good? Give it the no-toast test. Any bagel worth eating should be great untoasted and sliced, with a little butter on it. Bagel Factory passes the test. So my advice would be go to Custom Bagels in Media, but, failing that, bagel factory will do.

I love a great breakfast bagel sandwich's that involves a fresh baked bagel , not frozen sitting under a heat lamp. Just so you know, I am a fan of great bagel shop with freshly made bagels. Came in to fuel the machine before our journey to OBX that Sunday morning and the first two things you smell is coffee brewing and bagels. Gotta love it , I know I did with the different flavors dancing in the air as you come closer inside. I was at a loss, so many bagels, so many different options. Cream cheese flavored or regular do I for go that, or do I make it into an egg and some kinda creation off the top of my head. I do notice muffins and other fine goodies to my left , but we are not looking that way. Focused in my decision, devising a game plan before I order I start to build the breakfast bagel of my choice in my head. I start with this to the young lady- I am going with two eggs, cheese, sausage salt and pepper with tomato and onions and a shot of ketchup on an Everything bagel. Before I could finish with the "Everything Bagel" another lovely nice lady came from the back with a freshly baked basket of Onion Bagels !! Yea we did this up with the Onion Bagel, was handed my receipt with the saying "Your order will be ready shortly" After I completely devoured this beast I noticed they make a French toast bagel ! .. How could have I missed this I thought to myself, but this is ok.. gives me more of a reason to come back and think of another creation involving this bad boy! Place was clean and bright, plenty of seating to go around even the bathrooms were clean. The staff was great, great customer service, freshness of there product was amazing , and flavorful. My wife and the company I was with were happy with all their meals of choice ( This is where I found out about the French toast bagel ) Good stuff here , great place to bring the kids, now go in and get yourself a bagel with what ever your fancy!

This place is a ghost town- they should remove the sign and this restaurant from Yelp

The location is great. Get a quick bagel and schmear mid-morning before shoppping and a decent cup of coffee. The everything bagels are quite good. The overall experience is mediocre though - and the service is slow. The lox cream cheese is merely so-so. If you keep your expectations low, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Pesto chicken lunch sandwich (on a bread I cant even pronounce) was tasty. Reasonable prices...$27 for lunch for three. Amazing~ service. Like really, it was great. Pretty good menu (a bit smallish, but good nonetheless). The ambiance sucks. But, it's a chain, what can I say?

I really wanted to give three stars but i was on the fence, so 2 it is. Been here twice, not much difference either time. asked if they could make a latte - response " no but i think we can make a cappuccino". what? how? never mind. now i'm a skeptic. Breakfast sandwich was good and hot. could have been meatier but not terrible. not clean, which really was the worst part. feet sticking to the floor, puddles, tables not wiped. The kitchen is not neat/tidy enough to be open/visible in my opinion. put a wall up so i don't have to see you manhandling my bagel, thanks. only would come here again in a pinch with a craving for a bagel sandwich, wouldn't go out of my way.

My previous favorite bagel place has closed, and ever since then, I've been coming here for my Friday bagel fix on the way to work. They really aren't bad at all. Bagels here are consistently good, service is consistently pretty good, and the breakfast sandwiches generally come off the grill nice and fresh. I do think they skimp a bit on the egg here, but call it a mild complaint. Either that or I'm just thinking of the Hungry A up the street that loads your sandwich up. Quality of bagels, well I can find a better bagel in Newtown Square. But I'll call them decent here.

I work right around the corner on the weekends, so occasionally I'll stop in The Bagel Factory to grab a quick bite to eat. The cashiers are bright and bubbly - maybe a little too much for an early Sunday morning, but honestly I'd take that over someone who looked miserable. My usual is a sausage, egg, and cheese on a toasted asiago bagel and it is HEAVEN! The bagel is fresh and chewy and the sausage and egg is usually cooked well. I'll definitely keep coming in as long as the asiago bagel is around.

Awesome place to have a super protein breakfast. Frankly, I like this place better than Brueggers, Einsteing or whatever. I came in there and asked the uber friendly counter person if I could vary from the posted menu. Her friendly reply was "We will fill your order anyway you want"... How many places go out to the customer that way? So I had a three-egg white, double-ham everything bagel with tomatoes. And it came out just like that. Plenty of seating and plenty of items. Only bad side it's near a Wal Mart. But who cares.

The staff was very friendly, food was acceptable, but all of the tables were dirty. Quick wipe down is all it really needed, nothing major. The menu is pretty straight forward. Not quite sure what sets it apart. It's not bad, just uninspired. I'd go there again if we were hungry and in that shopping center, but I wouldn't go out of my way at all to get there.

This place is priced well and worth trying. Their bagels are okay, better then Manhattan bagel but, no where near as good as my go to bagel place, custom bagel who are closed on Sundays and caused me to try this place.

I stop in here once in a while before work if I have enough time... The service is usually good and the bagels and omelettes hit the spot... They recently stopped making rye bagels though, which sucks because they were my favorite!
