Wow.... Read all the other reviews and if I wasn't staying at the Courtyard Marriott which is right next door, I might not have tried it. So glad I did. Sat at the outside covered bar and Collin the bartender was exceptionally friendly. Started with the cheesesteak rolls and they were awesome. Pizza was just ok.

They redid the outdoor bar/patio area and its really amazing. Unfortunately the food here is awful. I've been here twice since the upgrades. I got sick one of those times then a few weeks later found out my parents went there with some friends and almost all of them spent the next day within close proximity to a bathroom. Also worth noting, one time getting some drinks on the new deck and there was an awful solo acoustic act playing live music. Not only was he terrible but he clearly knew nothing about how to use his PA system and everything came out muffled and turned the amazing ambience into something unbearable. As a semi professional musician and former audio engineer I'm more sensitive to these things but I could tell nobody was happy with this guy ruining the otherwise nice ambience.

Worst service ever.. legit sitting at the bar right now watching Maureen (I think that is her name) count her tips, while the guy bartender is, down, the other end flirting with some girl. . BTW first time and pretty sure I will NEVER be back EVER. . So sat at bar for 15 mins while all this was going on.. and my dumb ass still tipped 20%

Great food. Cozy ambience. Had the chicken chili soup. It was really good with the perfect amount of kick. A definite place to check out if your in the area.

Ok, how can I start this? Blah blah that's what I think about this place. I called my friend to meet here since I was told that is was a cool place. We met on a Sunday night labor day weekend. As I arrived I could see that he was already there and was picking on fried calamari which it looked ok. After several minutes of waiting I was approached by the so not friendly bartender. I asked for a menu and was told that the kitchen was closed but only had pizza for service. Since we were a bit hungry we asked which was the recommended pizza. The chicken and bacon pizza was recommended at the price of $11. Let's just say that the so called brick oven pizza was more like a dried cookie bread with pre frozen pieces of chicken and salad bacon. Folks , I have had brick oven pizza from many places but this place should be ashamed of calling it that. After we were done our first round of drinks I kinda had to act like a airport flagger in order to get a second beverage. Ohh, there were 3 bartender and two just walked by as if they were going to an important meeting that they could not stop and ask if we needed service. Overall I give it a 2 star just because the location is nice, other than that I think I would have to reconsider returning to Travola.

I want to love this place. The outdoor patio is awesome and the food is decent. But, like many other reviewers said, the service was really questionable. We were at a table outside at the patio, and given a full menu, plus the drink specials. But then told that those specials were only if we were seated at the actual bar, and to get that price ($3 cheaper per drink, so enough for us to press the issue!), we had to walk up to the bar and order it ourselves. It just seemed really strange and kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Our waitress seemed a little frazzled, but maybe that's because we were a party of 12. All in all, I will probably give this place a try again.

I have been here too many times to count. The location and atmosphere are great; it's a wonderful addition to our town. The food is okay; a little overpriced for the small portions. The waitstaff is HORRIBLE. I could grow gray hair waiting for a bartender or waiter to even approach me. Tonight for instance we asked 3 different people including the hostess for a person to take our drink order; 45 minutes later that actually happened. There were 2 available fire pit seating areas, neither of which had an actual working fire. A confusing thing about the fire pits, on several occasions I've asked for food at the fire pit & I've always been told they don't allow food there. Tonight we were given food menus at the fire pit. Did they finally realize adults can sit at a fire pit with food and nothing catastrophic will happen?

Great lunch. Been here a few times this past month first time with a group, food was great service was great. Enjoy the option to sit inside or outside. Plenty of room and great view of 18th hole from outside deck.

Party of two ate dinner here Saturday night sat at a high top bar table. The waitress came right over and took out drink order. We ordered food promptly after the waitress brought our drinks. An hour and ten minutes later our food arrived. Burger was dry and fish dish was ok. For as nice as the place looks the food was poor. I would go here for drinks but not to eat again.

Contrary to everyone else's bad reviews, I enjoyed a nice lunch on a beautiful Friday afternoon. The patio has excellent seating overseeing the gold course. The service was excellent and always made sure I was tended to. The food was probably about a 3, but it did the job. I'll update my review after I have dinner here.

I have been here twice. Once for Brunch and once for dinner. We sat outside on a beautiful day for brunch. The patio is wonderful. I felt service could have been a little bit faster but the food selection for a brunch was great. As for dinner I was told their brick oven pizzas were what I should order. I am glad I did as my Cheeseburger Pizza just melted in my mouth. My wife had a veggie pizza which was just as good. The boys pizza was a good size from the kids menu. And we all sampled the huge chocolate slice. I will be returning. Especially for brunch.

I've eaten on the inside before, but yesterday was my first time on the outside patio. It took several minutes before anyone came to seat us, and funny enough I made reservations, but we clearly didn't need them judging by the lack of customers. We were seated without menus, and we received them a minute or two later. The menu isn't huge, but has at least a good choices for the everyday guest. What's weird to me is the fact that some of the meals come with fries, and others do not. They were only priced a $1 or $2 higher with the fries, so why not offer an up charge to avoid chips? We received our drinks quickly, however, the bruschetta took quite a while to receive, and we ended up getting our meals while still enjoying the super fresh and very delicious appetizer. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (add mayo, please!), and my husband ordered a burger. As soon as our food was put down, we realized that we didn't have fries with either meal and my chicken had no mayo on it. Again we waited until the server came back and I asked, "wasn't our meals suppose to come with fries?", to which she remarked, "you didn't get any?" Did she think we had eaten them all up, disposed of the proof they were ever there, and then preceded to get some more for free? My husband enjoyed the burger, and half of my chicken sandwich, as I couldn't quite enjoy it for the fact that the chicken was a huge hunk, rather than a thinner piece that would be more easy to chew. The atmosphere and views are clearly spectacular, the service and food are lacking a bit. I'll go back again, at least just for the bruschetta.

Inside the food is great. All of my meals have been up to par. My daughter has had some meals she did not care for, but again, I am generally satisfied. The service is great on the inside, I think that is due to the fact that most servers want to be outside in the warmer months because it is generally hoping out there. They do turn tables quickly inside, but they will let you sit and dine if you so desire. It's a good place to go for groups too. I am here, somewhere in the complex, at least 2-3 times a month. It is a nice place to go for diner in Springfield.

This one is way overdue but to keep it short and sweet, the bf and I went here for brunch one day in the early fall. We sat outside since it was still nice out and the view was gorgeous, along with the patio itself. It is a brunch buffet so the service aspect wasn't as extensive as an a la carte sit down dinner is but our server was great nonetheless. On to the food...one word; yum!! Great variety, everything looked and tasted super fresh also. We will definitely be back!

Most overpriced Italian Joint I've ever eaten at. just because the portion sizes are large does not make up for sub part food which is worse for what it costs. If you like this food then you are used to eating at this level and thinks it's probably good food. $9 meatball was ok. Caesar Salad. worst I ever ate and the blackened chicken on top was worse. My Brother ordered chocolate cake...terrible. Save your money and eat somewhere else. Service. Average.

Visited: Friday - August 28, 2015 - 8 PM The main draw to Tavola is NOT the food but the outdoor patio. In front, chairs surround a full bar with busy bartenders. Along the parameter are small tables and chairs. Live music is played throughout the evening and quite loud. The mid-patio is the uncovered section with tables and chairs to accommodate few or several patrons. ( the music volume is acceptable ) Sofas, tables, chairs with over-sized umbrellas are at the rear of the patio; reservations are not required. ( the music is barely audible ). Drinks may be purchased from the front bar and enjoyed at the rear patio. There is another bar at mid-patio where servers are prominent. The servers will accept drink orders and deliver them to your "thirsty hands". We always opt for the latter until our table is ready. We were texted that our table was ready. We ordered bruschetta ($8.00), steamed clams ($11.00), grapefruit salad ($8.50), and a Tavola salad ($8.50). We continued enjoying the late summer breeze and moon-lit sky while awaiting our meals. The server apologized for the delay because the kitchen was overwhelmed with orders. She further stated, that the manager instructed the receptionist to stop accepting reservations. In the warmer months, this may be THE place to dine IF you're willing to accept mediocre tasting food and inconsistent service. Three stars for the food and service with an additional star for ambience.

I have no idea why this place doesn't have a higher rating. Tavolas has a fancy-casual, relaxed vibe. The setting is beautiful and the furniture is comfortable. They have wicker couches and chairs with cushions and tables with umbrellas, as well as two outdoor bars and multiple fire pits. The crowd is a good mix of older and younger people. My friend and I arrived at 10pm on a Saturday night and the outdoor patio was crowded because the weather was lovely. They had stopped serving dinner at the regular tables, but we were still able to order food from one of the high-top tables by the bar or by one of the fire pits. We found an open spot at a fire pit and were brought menus promptly. They have menus that light up so even in the dark by the fire pit we were able to read the menu without straining our eyes. They have a unique cocktail selection and an extensive wine list that is separate from the regular drinks menu. We ordered the chicken sandwich, mussels in red sauce, and fries. The chicken sandwich was huge and the fries were cut large. All of the food was delicious. Our server Joe was excellent. He greeted us right away, our water glasses were never empty, and he checked on us the perfect amount of times. Other reviews for this restaurant say that service is lacking, so perhaps the other servers should take an example from Joe. Lastly, the entrees are expensive, however the food prices at Tavolas are exactly what I would expect at a place like this. It is located right next to a country club in a wealthy suburban area at a beautiful, upscale restaurant. I also live in the city, so I am used to seeing these kinds of prices when I go out to eat. Anyway, I will most definitely go back next time I am out in the area, especially if the weather is nice.

Best Bloody Mary in America! That's not a bad thing to be able to crow about if you're trying to make a name for yourself. Check out the link. delcotimes.com/lifestyle… I've visited here many times over many years and have watched it evolve. Keep in mind that it is part of the Springfield Country Club complex. It's also interesting that a Marriott Courtyard recently opened in the complex and as a result they have enjoyed a significant increase in business. The atmosphere here is the star of the show. There is lots of wood and subdued lighting. The bar is comfortable. On a beautiful summer night it doesn't get much better than the outside seating. It's clearly one of the classiest places in Delaware County. So folks come here expecting upscale service and food and they don't get it. Read on and I'll explain why I think that is. The country club does a booming banquet business so much of the staff that touches you at dinner could be working on banquet lunches etc. at other times. So they act like hotel severs and don't have the refinement you would expect in this beautiful space. The same is true of the food. There is something for everyone on the menu and it looks and feels just like a hotel menu. The prices are not bad. Chicken Parmesan goes for $13 and Salmon Dijon $16. It will be OK but you'll find yourself expecting more. So to me it's mismatched expectations. You're in this gorgeous upscale space and the service and food is what you would expect at a Sheraton. Until they can resolve this mismatch, I'm going with three stars.

This place was terrible. Way over priced. The food was slop. Mid summer and the menu was like a hearty winter menu. It's a place for catering that really does not expect anyone to ever go there to pay for a meal.

This review is on their Sunday brunch. We had a large group so I anticipated things taking a little bit longer but we waited 15 minutes before a waiter came and took our drink orders. The first half of the drinks came within a few minutes but then we waited a good while for the other half (coffees). Unfortunately once we got to the buffet the service was still slacking; only one person was handling the omelettes, carving station AND waffles which created a line 15 people long. We were missing creamer for our second round of coffees for over 15 minutes and continuously had to clear our own plates out of the way because no one came to take them. And that's just the service! The food from the brunch buffet was neither appealing or tasty whatsoever. Over cooked eggs Benedict, soggy pancakes, dried up mac and cheese and gross looking shellfish. The only thing that was good was the omelette that was made to order. Oh and don't bother ordering the "best Bloody Mary in America"... It's definitely not.

Well. I think it's been largely documented on here, but this place barely deserves the two stars. The second star is for the location. Fine for drinks I guess. Food is below average and very over priced. The service is comprise of undertrained children. It's not their fault. Clearly the management has no idea what they're doing. I'm not going to go into too much detail but there were numerous service issues. We're not complainers. Just sad to see so much potential go to waste. Could be a great spot. Get a new manager with some experience.

This restaurant has nice outdoor seating with golf course views. It was a somewhat rough start when we were first greeted by our waitress. We asked if there was a gluten-free menu and she immediately replied "no". Then as we got up to leave, she said she would check. The manager then came over and said that they do not have a dedicated GF menu, but they would make something to order to suit my husband's dietary needs. From then on, the service was great. (Perhaps our waitress didn't know what gluten-free entailed?) The food was delicious. For the appetizer, I liked the blackened scallops more than the steamed mussels, but my husband liked the mussels more, so it worked out. My husband liked his steak, and I LOVED the beef short ribs. Try their salted caramel cream puffs for dessert! A little pricey, but we knew that walking in. I would return to this restaurant if I'm ever in the area again!

A group of 4 of us went for dinner at the end of summer. My wife and I arrived early and had couple of drinks at the outside bar. The bar staff was very accommodating. The bar area was packed full with customers. We also sat outside for dinner. We loved that it is unlike any other place in Delco. For ambiance this place gets 5 stars however all our meals were alright to good, noting great. And the service was just ok not horrible but just passable. I think the issue may be this place is too big for its britches and not setup well to serve outside and the amount of people they are serving. We will go back as it is a very nice spot to hang out, have some drinks and a good time.

Awesome ambiance, server was great and bathrooms were clean. But 9$ for a House pinot grigio.. wtf we are not in Vegas or the city. And the pregnant rude bartender saw the shock on my face.. most definitely should have mentioned their SPECIAL of sangrias for 5.50.,. So glad i moved to a table and got away from her. Our apps were great too..

Have been eaten here twice in the past. Both meals have been just average. The only standout and thing I would recommend would be the cheesesteak egg rolls! I have had a lot of cheesesteak egg rolls and these are up there on the list! The staff was friendly, but young and inexperienced.

BEST bloody Mary's EVER! My bf and I go here frequently on Sunday afternoons and we sit at the outdoor bar area. The bartenders at this bar are great (we call them the "eens" Irene and Eileen, I think). We love the Tuscan wings and the all of the pizza's are fresh and very tasty. Great to snack on with the Bloody Mary's! We recently met with friends for lunch and they loved it here too. They ordered a saland a panini and both said it was very good The place was super busy that day but service was great. We plan to spend more time here during the warm months. Keep up the good work Tavola's, you have already improved in the areas others have complained about. Good work!

Visiting from IL and came here to try the bloody Mary. It was a complete disappointment. I've had a better bloody mary at sketchy dive bars... And for a lot less than $10.50 this is one of the worst bloodies I have ever had.

The patio area is pretty cool, other than that there is not much reason to go. The food is mediocre at best, although it is priced like some of the top restaurants downtown. The menu is all over the place, no central idea, theme or cuisine. I sampled several appetizers, none worth recommending. Since there are very few descent options in Delco, It's always crowded. I would go back to hang on the patio, but definitely wouldn't eat here again.

Visiting again while traveling, dinner was great. The outdoor area is covered in winter and has heaters warming the space - it's a great place to come and relax after a long day. Being able to make small modifications to your entree is nice: if you want to make substitutions it's not problem at all. I will definitely be back.

Wow. Last time I trust just an Open Table rating. So being a dieter and going to dinner just sucks any way you cut it. But the menu had some (what i thought would be) decent options. Sadly, the food did not measure up to expectations. The red pepper hummus was devoid of any flavor and cauliflower crudite had brown sports on one of the florets. Tavola house salad was awful. I mean...it's a salad how bad can it be, right? Wrong. Devoid of any unique elements that make an entree salad appealing. Thanks for the iceberg lettuce, I guess? Blackened scallops were good as was blackened shrimp on the salad -- but not worth the $14 upcharge! Hubby had cauliflower salad which he said was okay. Daughter's pizza looked good. Our waitress was friendly. Daughter's ice cream took forever to come out. Leave your healthy eating friends behind if you go.

I have read through the other reviews & I'm sad they have such bad things to say because I have had pretty good experiences at Tavola. I live at the hotel for work so I have been here over 7 times due to the convenience of Tavola being attached to the Marriott. Anyways, I deduct one star because it is pricey. Their drink menu and food menu are crazy unique. The service is awesome...the food is quick and the bartenders are on top of their game with getting you served. I frequent the outside patio bar more than the restaurant. The patio is open air in warm weather and sealed up & warm in the cold. There is a large deck which overlooks the golf course with lots of tables and couches to go sit with your friends. You can also have a bonfire at one of the two electric fire pits. Sunday brunch is amazing. So much breakfast, lunch, dessert and chocolate fondue to fill you up. Reservations are suggested for Sunday brunch. You can be as casual or as dressed up as you want...everyone fits in as long as you can pay your bill.

Awesome place! This is a go-to for my nursing school gals! Great drinks and great food! Love the outdoor patio!! (which is open in the winter too!) Service is very attentive! If you're in the area make sure to stop by!!

Beautiful day for lunch outside on the beautiful patio. Our waitress was attentive and very nice. My fault I wanted the beet and goat cheese salad with filet.( not on menu) What I got was "where are the beets" with "roast beef" slices ! did not eat the beef it tasted funny and I should have complained that it was not filet. Did not get out of the restaurant without a run to the bathroom with horrible results. Not sure how much an add on of chicken or steak costs in other restaurants but they charged $15.00 on top of the cost of the salad ! The manager pointed out that it was my error but finally did credit me $9.00 the cost of the salad. Not impressed.

First time going there, and I hadn't heard good things to start, and I was hoping for the best. It was definitely the worse. First, I ordered a glass of wine and they never brought it! 30 minutes later and I told them to nix it (why drink it after dinner?). Secondly, their prices are outrageous and their menu isn't exactly large. I ordered the chicken italiano and it sucked. Sure, it looked and smelled amazing... But it had NO flavor. It was missing BASIC Italian herbs and spices to make it amazing. My husband's meal was subpar as well... Also, multiple pieces of silverware were dirty (I'm talking caked on spinach and yellow stuff). Bottom line: I probably won't go again. I had heard from others that it sucked and I wasn't a fan. I'm DEFINITELY not going to spend so much money on something that isn't great. I only gave it 2 stars because their calamari was actually very good and tasty! Oh, and it might not matter but their tables are seriously oversized. I felt like I had to scream to talk to people on the other side.

Similar to other yelpers my party experienced incredibly slow service. The food wasn't horrible- wasn't the best. Sometimes at a casual outdoor bar you don't mind slow service. I still had one of the worst meal experiences at Tavola- here's why: We opted to go for happy hour on a Friday and pick up an early dinner. When we arrived the hostess asked us for a reservation. When we told her we did not have one she scoffed, looked over her should and said "I'll be right back, need to check with my manager to see if I can fit you in." She left for about 3 minutes then returned and said, "we have a table that faces the wall, is that ok." A little confused we looked at the nearly empty patio but we were hungry and wanted to try it out so we agreed. We were shown to the strangest table (long rectangle with two individuals on each end and one individual in the middle). As promised the table did not face the golf course, rather it looked directly at the cinderblock wall of the Marriott Courtyard. To top it all off, there was a small outdoor speaker located at the base of the wall that made communication nearly impossible. We stayed and it was horrible. There was a special on margaritas so I order one and got the most vile cheap alcohol / margarita mix I've ever tasted in my life- it didn't even have salt around the rim. As we ate the restaurant did slowly fill but by the time we were finishing our meal (about 90 minutes later after waiting nearly 50 for our food) the "please wait to be seated area" the restaurant was till only at half capacity. I laughed to myself as I ate my ice cream egg roll dessert (actually pretty good- the best part of the meal). Anyone who makes a reservation for Tavola needs his / her head examined.

I had an awful dining experience here the other night. A friend and I were sat at 7pm, our drinks arrived at 7:04 and we ordered at 7:13. Not too bad. I asked our server if he could get a wobble wedge to fix our table, his response was, "I'll try to find something to stuff under there, I keep telling them to buy the wedges but...". At 7:23 our appetizers were literally dropped off by a food runner. He just dropped them off and didn't ask us if we needed anything or even say "enjoy". I ordered the Ahi Tuna appetizer, the presentation looked good but it literally tasted like nothing. No flavor what so ever. My friend ordered the Shrimp Quesadillas and the best part about them was the Tostitos salsa it was served with. By the way, we still did not have any bread. At 7:41 our entrees were served. I ordered the Surf and Turf. As soon as the food runner took the serving lid off of the plate, a strong fishy smell smacked me across the face. I did not even eat any of the lobster tail simply because I was afraid to. My filet that I asked for medium rare was served medium well. The vegetables on the plate had no seasoning at all. My friend ordered the Lobster Ravioli. The "sauce" was not a sauce at all, it was a gelatinous mess. Once again, no flavor. The food runner once again just dropped the plates off. He didn't even clear our appetizers. After a couple of minutes of trying to eat our entrees, our server came over and asked how everything was. I asked for bread. We finally got bread halfway through our entrees. He finally stuffed a napkin under the table, halfway through our entrees. He finally cleared our appetizers, half way through our entrees. It was all in all a horrible dining experience and I will not return. I like to play a round of golf and come off the course to enjoy good food and good service. I did not get that here. The only place close in the area that I look forward to golfing and eating afterwards is Paxon Hollow Country Club. The course is beautiful and now that Anthony's from Drexel Hill took over and remodeled the inside into a restaurant, I will only go there. I still have yet to have a bad meal or experience at Anthony's at Paxon Hollow. I highly suggest it.

Went to the late seating for Mother's Day Brunch, if I could give this hole a zero I would. Where to begin? Curdled cream for coffee. Send the pancakes & waffles to the skating rink down the street, good for ice hockey only or as a weapon of mass destruction. Had two nice waitresses, but when they started breaking down the room they sent a real winner. When I told her about the hockey pucks, her reply was "I don't have anything to do with the kitchen". Poorly executed Lox, no toaster available for mediocre bagels. One bread station had no cream cheese. No typical accoutraments - chopped egg, sliced onion, tomatoes. The roast beef still had whip marks on it from the the third race at Philadelhphia Park. One of the stations had fish on it that had been through a war. The shrimp boat sank, with shrimp swimming in a foot deep bath of room temperature water. I passed. Not a lot for the kiddo's. When they started breaking down the room, they kept giving us the bum rush taking plates & the boy's chocolate milks away. Ice cream gloriously presented in a 1963 cooler with delapidated lids, and the products 2 1/2 feet at the bottom. Real delicacy ice cream favors that you can buy at the corner store for 50 cents each. Overall, a very poorly executed buffet. A poorly spent $220 for 6 adults & 2 kids, Concordville Inn or anywhere in Philly next time.
Amazing outdoor seating space -- there is no bad place to sit outside. Exception: last summer they had an ongoing issue with bees buzzing around. I haven't been here since mid-June so I'm not sure if it's been resolved, but it was pretty annoying last year. I've enjoyed all the food I've had here (cheesesteak eggrolls, tuna tartar, beet and goat cheese salad, lobster ravioli are what stand out most) and of course the wine and beers. The cocktails, however, haven't hit the mark for me. The margarita, grapefruit paloma, and strawberry mojito do not taste very good and are not worth the price. This is still one of my favorite places in the area, though, because of the extensive menu and fun outdoor seating.

We had some high hopes for this place and really wanted to love it. Our waiter Joe - incredibly attentive and friendly. I had the pink cactus drink, pretty tasty... Cheesesteak eggrolls were good everything after was pretty bad. My husband had the pesto chicken pizza, the topping was non-descript, the base had a strange consistency. Given how thin it was it tasted chewy and store bought. I had the chicken parm - pasta was over cooked and the chicken tasted rubbery. The general manager, Matt, was professional and quick to do what he could to make the evening more pleasant. Overall, I hope they improve the quality in the kitchen, it would help match the atmosphere and potential. Given the service, we may try again in a couple of months.

Pleasantly surprised. I went to Tavola last year with a group and was very disappointed. It was overcrowded and too expensive. It took forever to get a drink and forget about trying to get a table to eat. I did not intend on returning. Fast forward to the 4th of July of this year. I have been told by many people to give it another chance and I am glad that I did. The atmosphere on the outside deck is like being at a shore bar. It was very crowded but that was solved by realizing that you can go to the inside bar to get a drink or order a quick appetizer. The pizza was good and the Cosmos hit the spot. Fireworks later in the night and an awesome guitar player/DJ Paul who new exactly what to play to keep us happy. The staff was very busy but still very friendly. This is a place I will continue to frequent. -J

Ok went here the other day. We were advised that they just redone the outside. All new seating area and seating arrangements. They had couches with fire pits and burning tourches around. Very nice and cute, the bar was a good size under a big roof with tv's. We were told the resturant inside was just redone too. Good girly drinks about $8.50 each, I had the mango coconut crazy, which was made with ice cream and very yummy. Lots of whip cream and shreddad coconut on top. We liked all of our drinks, good size and made well. We only got appetizers and they weren't priced to badly. We got nachos and also a pizza which they allowed us to switch out mushrooms for peppers. Both were quite good. You got about 8 small slices of the pizza. Since it was a new set up and you could tell because the waiters had no idea were the food they had was going. We were asked twice if something was ours and we said no. Also I did ask for a water refill and plates and never got them. Another issue I had is a golf ball flew by and hit a woman in the hand. I really think they need to do something to prevent that. The golf course is right there so not sure how they can prevent it. I liked the place even with those little issues . Now even though the appetizers and things like pizza, burgers etc were priced reasonably, the actual entres were a little pricier , around $20-$25 bucks. They're building a marriot right there , the resturant is somewhat attached. I think it will make a great place for the hotel guest and anyone else.

This place is a beautiful addition to the Delaware county food scene. The ambiance is gorgeous (at least the outdoor patio is) and we felt like we were on vacation complete with palms trees (!!) during our Sunday lunch here. The food is average - not bad, not amazing. Isn't that typical of this suburban area in general? The service was a little spotty but nothing that would prevent me from going again. Personally, I will add this to my list of regular go-to places, especially in the nice weather. I had fish tacos, grilled. My daughter had mini sliders, husband had a large salad, and daughter had calamari, which I wouldn't order again (too much breading and slightly overcooked - this is very difficult for most restaurants to get right so I don't hold it again them). The menu is fairly extensive and lunch menu had a lot of options. Looking forward to going back soon!

Total fail for Mother's Day brunch...should have checked Yelp first. $230 for 7 people. Before you get all excited thinking what a bargain (not really), there's a reason it's so cheap. This must be where the Country Club makes the bulk of its money once a year because seriously this brunch is run like a mass market cafeteria. 'Check In' was a giant line literally 100+ people long. You give them your name, you pay and they give you a ticket. I felt like I was at my high school reunion. After you pay, you get shuffled off to the right to have your party wait to be seated. This would be fine in a classy establishment, except 5 other parties of 6+ are also waiting to the right. This turns the 'waiting to the right' line into a giant second mass cattle car of waiting, just like check in. At some point we were asked to move to the left to wait. We move off to the left. And were asked to move around a bit again so that they could get the chairs set off to the sides. I mean seriously, figure out where you want people to wait and then seat them vs shuffling them around. Poor logistics. Poor execution. Finally we get led to our table. Which is... 2 too-small round tables placed next to each other...one of them was higher than the other so the tables didn't even align properly. Really? We asked to be re-seated to one of the other tables that actually could hold 7-8 without looking cobbled together. First gal gave us some song and dance, but thankfully whoever was in charge said no problem we'll reseat you. Again, this should not be that hard. We were one of the smaller parties there. The staff was in a flurry, with everyone rushing around, working hard. The brunch is not even in the restaurant itself, I assume it is what passes for a giant wedding reception kind of hall for the country club. Think lots of 80's arched windows and double paned glass that has lost its seal, leaving streaky watery marks down the windows. The noise level in this place got to ear-splitting decibels, you could easily have been at a local kiddie cafeteria. No private luncheon vibes going on here, you knew at all times that you were amongst a couple hundred of your closest friends. Coffee cups on the tables were dirty, smudged and smeared. Awesome staff got us new ones. I got apple juice for my son promptly and once the coffee was served, it was actually very good. One point. The food...well it's a buffet that goes on for hours and hours. Keep your expectations low. The only positives at this thing were the fresh fruit, the crab cakes (surprise, they were amazing, barely fried and 99% crab), the bacon and sausage, and the carrot cake on the dessert table. Everything else was meh meh meh or total crap. The scrambled eggs were comical, the potatoes were cold, the stuffed shells were cold and congealed and the chipped beef (What the heck is that anyway) looked regurgitated. On our way out, used the restroom, in which we discovered that almost every stall was out of toilet paper. I could be at your local rodeo in a porta-potty at this point...the experience was so disappointing. I mentioned to a lady in charge that she might want to look into refilling the paper and she just stared at me. Guess she's loving her job. Overall, total and complete miss. Bad on me for not checking Yelp and getting seduced by Tavolas slick looking website with pretty pictures of their 'outdoor seating' which led my SIL and myself to be imagining some swank, secluded, beautiful-view-laden Mother's Day brunch that we'd be proud to take our families too. Good thing is that we won't be back next year. I cannot believe this thing is as popular as it is, surely not everyone is new in town, our only excuse, and a lame one at that really.

Wow. Not sure where to start. Nice clean place, but everything from the two day old stale bread to the Friendly's type menu was hot mess. It's a crying shame what they did to the Chilean sea bass. Microwave style "filet mignon" and some mushy cheese like rice pilaf that was inedible. If we weren't staying at the connecting hotel, would have walked out.

Terrible service, poor management and mediocre food and menu. Although the restaurant appeared to be empty of guests the hostess took her sweet time seating us (10 min wait) the bartender messed up my drink (ordered a blue moon, gave me a miller light) Ordered the lobster raviolis, they were standard banquet tasting and over priced. Spoke to the manager and he lacked interested in fixing the experience. Never again.

Food was well prepared. Chicken soup tasted like what my grandma made. The pork special is a pasta dish with tomato sauces and pasta that I was not familiar with. I would recommend and will eat here again!!!!

Tried them a second time bc they have the outdoor patio now. OMG...I don't understand how this place can have such beautiful grounds and such terrible food. I had the steamed clams and had to pour salt on the sauce to them to give them some sort of flavor...lacked any sort of taste whatsoever. The shrimp pizza w arrugula was sooo dry I almost coughed up an arugula ball. Drinks also lack imagination!

After some confusion with our reservation, we were seated but never approached by a server. Had to ask someone after 20 min who our server was. Service is really, really slow. Food was mediocre at best. Some tables have lights in the umbrella, ours did not so we were eating in the dark. Atmosphere is good. Place really needs to work on the service and the food.

Went out to dinner with my wife, she wanted to go someplace that had outdoor seating. We were sat within 10 minutes. Our waitress did not come to our table until 10 minutes later. Place our order all at once. Iced tea and Beer, came 20 minutes after placing the order. Onion rings and Brushchetta came 36 minutes after placing our order. The main course came 55 minutes after placing the order. Was there for my first time. It was also my last time.

I have been here twice, and although the service may be a little slow it really didn't bothering me considering I was lounging on the back patio over looking a beautiful golf course. This is more than just food. It is a relaxing, down the the shore type atmosphere. You shouldn't be in rush, sit back and soak in the night. I highly recommend ordering the Caesar salad and adding shrimp and crab cake. It's an expensive salad but boy is it delicious. It's a serving alright, the waitress even brought out 4 plates with it because she didn't think it was for just me but for the whole table. I highly recommend this place.

I had a reservation for 7:15 on Sat, 8/17, didn't get seated till 8, ignored by the waitress, rude staff, and at 9:00 when our meal still had not come .....we left. Told the waitress that we weren't waiting any longer. This place needs ALOT of polishing up to do!!!!!

Stupid me. Thinking this place was worth the money I dropped for garbage. Crappy service, disgusting food and expensive drinks doesn't equal a good time. I decided to drop in there to watch the Eagles start the Chip Kelly era. Sat at the bar. Finally got service after easy 8-10 minute wait. FAIL -a good bartender would greet their patrons, especially if they see them and ignore them a number of times. FAIL- limited glass choice of red wine and no happy hour deal FAIL - the food. The steamed clams had this gelatinous mess of goop in the broth and they weren't hot. No bread - had to ask and wait for the bartender to find some. The Mahi-Mahi was in no way fresh and did not taste grilled. I loved the large chunk of grey fish running along on the side. NOT. Cold risotto and limp vegetables "completed"the plate. I did happen upon the new impressive new patio complete with live music as I was leaving. It was packed and looked like a great place for a drink. But I observed food coming from the same kitchen so PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!!

Went here mainly because we received a gift certificate and also because I saw a Guinness Tap on their website and that's all my husband drinks. Being our first time there, we walked past the singer and followed some people through the door to the bar. Asked the barmaid for a Pint and she said they only have cans. I said I thought I saw a Guinness Tap in an online photo and she said Nope, only cans. My husband said No, thanks and got a Coke. We ordered from the Tavola menu: a burger, a crab flatbread, and soup. Brought the flatbread home and nobody here wanted it either due to the overkill with the Balsamic. Soup and burger were OK, no more, no less but overpriced. Service was the same, just OK, polite but not necessarily friendly. We left immediately after eating to go somewhere else to get a Guinness for the beer snob. We later found out that the outside bar does, indeed have it on tap. Now, don't you think that since both inside and outside are called "Tavola", they are under the same management? If the barmaid had simply said that they serve it outside, we would have gone outside, stayed longer, spent more money, and maybe come away with something favorable to say. Outside is charming...fire pits, heat lamps, comfy furniture and casual. Inside bar is dark and more formal. Neither is worth the food prices. If you go, stay outside and enjoy the charm but eat either before or after.

My boyfriend and I went for dinner around 8pm on a Friday. After standing at the hostess stand for 15min we had to call a waitress over and ask for a hostess (might I add there were about 5 servers who noticed us and did not stop to greet us or direct us). Food was nothing great, waitress forgot to put our appetizer in and also I ordered the stuff lobster and it came not stuffed. Service was quick but not correct. Not sure whether it was the kitchen or servers fault. I am a server and understand there is confusion back in the kitchen but there should be no reason customers are ignored for more than 5min just to get seated or talk to a host. Only thing this place has going for them is the outside. Most likely will not come back for dinner again.

Lovely outdoor atmosphere, but youll find more flavorful food at your local bar. For displaying itself like a country club, they should be guilty of fraud. This place is terrible and bland! Save your money and go elsewhere!

Excellent food, service and amazing view of the sunset! This restaurant is a hidden treasure in Springfield. The food is consistently delicious and the portions are generous. The personal touch given by our waitress and the manager was commendable. Don't miss this spot!!!

Nice ambiance on the patio, but food was awful. Bread rolls were like rocks in a basket, pasta was overcooked, and sauce was likely out of a can. Would only go back for drinks on a nice day.

One word sums this place up: regret. I don't even want to waste the time it takes to write a review, but I feel you should be warned: the service is horribly slow. Like time is measured in eons while you wait slow. My wife and I did not even eat half of our entres and we might as well have been talking to a rock as far as the server was concerned when it came to listening to how we answered her questions. The food is no where near worth the cost... The calamari fritte, however, not half bad.

Good work!

Had dinner and drinks last Wednesday Night. Good food and decent service. Bartenders are entertaining! I did enjoy the outside bar and entertainment.

Service. Average.

Service was horrible, had a funeral luncheon and there were about ten + people. The food came out at different times, the waitress was not very attentive. The martini was okay though.

I got the Parma flat beard. Suppose to have Parma prosciutto, not sure it was that. It was the same as the pizza but cut up and the plate presentation was boring. Jazz it up a little

Waited 30 minutes after being seated for a menu and waited another 20 minutes for our order to be taken. AWFUL never coming back.

Maybe the most unprepared awful place I have been. The servers seem like nice kids but they are in way over their heads. Food is bad, service is bad, management is to blame. Stay home and order pizza.

(2)M S.
(3)Alison C.

(3)Ethan T.
(4)Josh S.

(3)Bob C.

We had dinner at Tavola last night and enjoyed the food, great service and the beautiful terrace. I love the chicken chipotle pizza.
(4)Kelli M.
(5)D B.

(3)Vince C.
This place was terrible. Way over priced. The food was slop. Mid summer and the menu was like a hearty winter menu. It's a place for catering that really does not expect anyone to ever go there to pay for a meal.
(1)Laura B.
(1)David M.

(4)Larry M.
(3)PJ S.
The good part other than the diet coke? The servers, bus kids, hostess etc were all very pleasant.
(2)Ashley D.
(4)Jared J.
Have been eaten here twice in the past. Both meals have been just average. The only standout and thing I would recommend would be the cheesesteak egg rolls! I have had a lot of cheesesteak egg rolls and these are up there on the list! The staff was friendly, but young and inexperienced.
(3)Tracy F.
Good work!
(4)Alison M.
Visiting from IL and came here to try the bloody Mary. It was a complete disappointment. I've had a better bloody mary at sketchy dive bars... And for a lot less than $10.50 this is one of the worst bloodies I have ever had.
(1)Nick D.
(2)Chris B.
Visiting again while traveling, dinner was great. The outdoor area is covered in winter and has heaters warming the space - it's a great place to come and relax after a long day. Being able to make small modifications to your entree is nice: if you want to make substitutions it's not problem at all. I will definitely be back.
(4)Kirsten P.
(2)Kelley J.
(4)Annie P.
Awesome place! This is a go-to for my nursing school gals! Great drinks and great food! Love the outdoor patio!! (which is open in the winter too!) Service is very attentive! If you're in the area make sure to stop by!!
(5)Anne M.
(2)Cassandra P.

Had dinner and drinks last Wednesday Night. Good food and decent service. Bartenders are entertaining! I did enjoy the outside bar and entertainment.

Menu is very good, with lots of salads, interesting appetizers and reasonably-priced entrées, and at dusk on a summer Saturday the outdoor seating looked great. But the service and management are awful. Our walk-up party of three was seated quickly, but a waiter came only after we'd gone back to the hostess after sitting for 15 minutes. We placed drink and food orders all at once, which he dutifully wrote down, and he helpfully answered a question about gluten-free options. Then we waited. And waited, for another 45 minutes before any food arrived. Our waiter came back in the meantime to refresh drinks and express exasperation with the kitchen, but we had to flag down someone else even to get bread for the table. Almost an hour after ordering, some of the food we ordered arrived. Sweet potato fries were good. A veal dish was overcooked, as was the salmon added to a salad. A waitress who was not our own delivered those plates and left the third in front of me saying "this must be yours." It was not, and we had to call after her as she ran away. Our waiter returned and asked again what I'd ordered -an hour earlier (a salad and a chicken sandwich). A manager came over to ask how things were, and when told, said the food would be out immediately, which it soon was, and he promised to return to talk with us about what he could do. The manager never did, and when the check came it was wrong - adding the mis-delivered entree - and nothing was comp'ed or even discounted for the extreme delay. Totally unprofessional. The waiter was embarrassingly apologetic, and we were presented with a coupon for our next visit - expiring in a month! We paid our check in full and left the coupon on the table. Awful.

(2)Kelly N.

(4)Tamara K.

Maybe the most unprepared awful place I have been. The servers seem like nice kids but they are in way over their heads. Food is bad, service is bad, management is to blame. Stay home and order pizza.

Service. Average.

Visiting from IL and came here to try the bloody Mary. It was a complete disappointment. I've had a better bloody mary at sketchy dive bars... And for a lot less than $10.50 this is one of the worst bloodies I have ever had.

Great lunch. Been here a few times this past month first time with a group, food was great service was great. Enjoy the option to sit inside or outside. Plenty of room and great view of 18th hole from outside deck.

(3)Bob C.

We had dinner at Tavola last night and enjoyed the food, great service and the beautiful terrace. I love the chicken chipotle pizza.

(3)Tina B.

(2)Chris B.

(3)PJ S.
The good part other than the diet coke? The servers, bus kids, hostess etc were all very pleasant.
(2)Ashley D.
(4)Jared J.

Good work!
(4)Kelley J.
(4)Annie P.
Awesome place! This is a go-to for my nursing school gals! Great drinks and great food! Love the outdoor patio!! (which is open in the winter too!) Service is very attentive! If you're in the area make sure to stop by!!
(5)Anne M.

(2)Jay F.
(2)Heather M.
(1)Gina N.

(2)M S.
(3)Alison C.

Had dinner and drinks last Wednesday Night. Good food and decent service. Bartenders are entertaining! I did enjoy the outside bar and entertainment.
(3)Tony C.
(3)Ethan T.
(4)Josh S.

(2)Cynthia P.
(2)Kelly N.
(1)Linda E.
Food was well prepared. Chicken soup tasted like what my grandma made. The pork special is a pasta dish with tomato sauces and pasta that I was not familiar with. I would recommend and will eat here again!!!!
(4)Tamara K.

(2)Billy D.

(4)Kathy R.
(1)Tom E.

Awful.

Had dinner and drinks last Wednesday Night. Good food and decent service. Bartenders are entertaining! I did enjoy the outside bar and entertainment.

(4)Bob C.

We had dinner at Tavola last night and enjoyed the food, great service and the beautiful terrace. I love the chicken chipotle pizza.
(4)Rachael C.

(3)Vince C.
This place was terrible. Way over priced. The food was slop. Mid summer and the menu was like a hearty winter menu. It's a place for catering that really does not expect anyone to ever go there to pay for a meal.
(1)Nick D.
(2)Jay F.

(1)David M.

(3)Tina B.
(2)D B.
Service. Average.
(1)Kelli M.

(2)Alison C.
(2)Greg P.
(4)Josh S.
(4)Ethan T.
(4)Larry M.
(3)PJ S.
The good part other than the diet coke? The servers, bus kids, hostess etc were all very pleasant.
(2)Ashley D.
(4)Jared J.
Have been eaten here twice in the past. Both meals have been just average. The only standout and thing I would recommend would be the cheesesteak egg rolls! I have had a lot of cheesesteak egg rolls and these are up there on the list! The staff was friendly, but young and inexperienced.
(3)Tracy F.
Good work!
(4)Alison M.
Visiting from IL and came here to try the bloody Mary. It was a complete disappointment. I've had a better bloody mary at sketchy dive bars... And for a lot less than $10.50 this is one of the worst bloodies I have ever had.
(1)Heather M.
(1)Gina N.
Great food. Cozy ambience. Had the chicken chili soup. It was really good with the perfect amount of kick. A definite place to check out if your in the area.
(5)Kelley J.
(4)Annie P.
Awesome place! This is a go-to for my nursing school gals! Great drinks and great food! Love the outdoor patio!! (which is open in the winter too!) Service is very attentive! If you're in the area make sure to stop by!!
(5)Anne M.

(2)Mike R.
(2)Kendall D.
(2)Billy D.

(2)Kelly N.

Loving Tavolo bar, and Irene our bartender. Great afternoon and lunch.

Waited 30 minutes after being seated for a menu and waited another 20 minutes for our order to be taken. AWFUL never coming back.

Maybe the most unprepared awful place I have been. The servers seem like nice kids but they are in way over their heads. Food is bad, service is bad, management is to blame. Stay home and order pizza.

Awful.
