Ate out with family. Son had craving for crab legs and saw ads for crab fest. Figured if they're selling a lot, they won't be old. Haven't eaten at a Red Lobster in 10 years or more. My experience was good. Looked at other reviews and negative comments-most related to poor service or inexperienced servers. I didn't have that. Place was busy but not crazy busy. Server was Nate and others also brought items to table. Server clearly was experienced. Food was very good and we ordered a variety of things. One mistake which was quickly corrected. I can see how things could get out of hand. Very large menu. Lots of items, probably too many which can slow kitchen down. Lot of tables and large parties came in when we were there. These can be a challenge and highly rated, little boutique places generally can't handle lots of large groups but they come to places like Red Lobster. I know many don't like Chains but my experience tonight was good. Hands on, competent manage is the key to these chains so assume the manager was doing a good job tonight. I also look at other diners to see if most appear happy or pissed off. Everyone looked OK.

There are not enough words to describe how horrendous the experience here was. Apparently, it was the waitress's first week serving so as much as I would love to cut her some slack, I'm not going to. She sucked. But, I don't want to point all of my finger at her (only half) but at the training she apparently did NOT receive. I'm sitting here for 2 hours, it took 1 hour to receive the food, and once the appetizer arrived, we had no utensils or plates to eat off of. We had one glass of water, no refills. It took so much time to get our food and to get anything else that we needed. To say that it was the slowest service EVER is being too kind. No customer wants to come in at 7:30 and leave at 9:30. Oh wait, I'm sorry. I haven't left yet. I'm still writing this review as I ask for the check, again. And no. It isn't that busy. Oh wait, she just asked me if I was ready for the check. Apparently I was not ready the first time I asked her to bring it. Or the second time. To wrap up this scathing review, I would like to allot this place 0.5 stars for the service. Train your employees better.

I will forever love Red Lobster for drinks and biscuits. When I say FOREVER, I mean FOREVER EVER! I use to love when they have shrimp fest but I am slowly turning into a snob and hating chain restaurants (slow on the snob but I do presently hate chain food). I don't go to chains unless my family forced me to go and in this case, my sister needed me to go with her and the kids since her hubby had other plans. Nonetheless, good time with the fam, waiter was cute but service was disorganized and slow. I guess we can't have it all! =p

I will never come back to this place. There have been too many times where the service was horrible. I was just here last night and everything took forever! I try to be understanding given that they may be understaffed but my food and drinks were terrible. I order a mango Mai Tai which tasted like juice and crab cakes that were way too salty. I refuse to keep spending my money on subpar service. I used to love Red Lobster, but they have gone downhill over the years. They have a lot of improvements to make.

I am not embarrassed to say that I LOVE Red Lobster! Shrimp and crab are my favorite foods and this place makes them good at a very reasonable price. The cheddar biscuits are to die for, and anyone who thinks otherwise is ridculous. Obviously it's not the classiest establishment and it's a chain so you can expect some things to be not as good. Come when the have a special like crabfest or festival of shrimp or capsize on the four course feast (yes it's way too much food for one person but worth the price and you always have leftovers!). Finally, do yourself a favor and get the multilayer chocolate fudge cake with ice cream even if you're already full, you won't regret it!

I used to think that I couldn't really justify any more than 3 stars for a retail chain restaurant. My last experience here proved me wrong. My boyfriend and I opted for the 4 course meal for $15.99 including unlimited cheddar bay biscuit, salad, entree and dessert. The value, 5 stars that's for sure. But the quality really wasn't bad. 4 stars worth. Cheddar bay biscuits are like crack, they're to die for. Salad was standard, caesar or house salad. I had gotten the tilapia which was just okay maybe 3 stars. Well seasoned, but you can tell the fish was frozen. Lastly the dessert I got the caramel cheesecake which wasn't bad -- similar to what you can get at Costco which imo is really not that bad. My server was relatively attentive, but when it came to the check she took a bit too long. I got the margarita, I forget the name of it. But they advertise it as their " giant" margarita. And yes, it is giant. You can taste the tequila, and it was only $8.75. What a steal. About to start getting drunk at red lobster while eating their cheddar biscuits! :p

Worst experience ever, there were no waiters there to help me with my spill..they threw a few napkins at me and told me to clean up my mess before I leave..(FYI my bill came up to around $53 for two & I still tipped them 20% wish I haven't done that) we didn't even get our water until ten minute after being sat down.

We went there for lunch on a Saturday. We were seated immediately and had a very pleasant waiter named Norris wait on us. He was very quick and polite. He brought everything in a timely manner. Our food came out very hot and was absolutely delicious. My Aunt had broiled Flounder and a baked potato and I had the new Shrimp and Lobster pot pie with hand dipped shrimp. It was delicious. My only complaint was our waiter asked me if I wanted a box to go while I was still eating. I clearly had my mouth full of food when he stopped to ask. One other thing, in the Lobster tank, there was one lone lobster with no claws. It was horrible! Made me and my Aunt both sad. I know Lobsters are food and I understand that. But it seemed cruel for a Lobster to have no claws. Other than that lunch was perfect.

I like Red Lobster every now and then. It's not exciting, but the food is good enough, and you usually know what you get. This time around, we had a little surprise. My family and I visited Red Lobster yesterday 10/27/2013. We went to grab a meal for dinner. We were seated quickly a plus! Our waitress even asked the chef to prepare a meal for me that had been removed from the menu. Now, thereafter, is where the experience took a turn for the worse! Our appetizers came out barely warm, not hot at all. We ate one and took the other to go. Our waitress did stop in to check on us, but I've learned a long time ago, you do not send food back to the kitchen..... Well, we didn't have much of an appetite by the time our food came out ~ yes it took that long. As a result, we decided to take our entrees to go. Well today, we open our entrees for lunch and what did we find.....a molded biscuit. Yuck! As I attempted to eat my entree from yesterday, I discovered the lobster was dried out like it was old and not fresh at the time of initial serving. I don't go to Red Lobster often, but this is reason enough not to rush back. Molded biscuits like really??? 11/3/13 after speaking with Niño the Manager, we decided to accept the offer to return today for a complimentary meal the way it is suppose to be done! Well today, exactly one week later, we returned. The service was incredible. While there was a little wait to be seated, everything else couldn't have been better. Alisha was our server and she was incredible. We received our food hot and timely. We will return thanks to Niño and his team. Job well done. I couldn't give 5 stars because of the roughness of the first visit. The Bonds clan are satisfied customers now! Thanks Alisha and Niño!

And I wound up seated in a booth next a drunk couple... Lots of cursing about everything, in a general conversation kind of way... Everything from the food to family was mutha f'n this, and mutha f'n that... How I knew that they were enjoying the food came in the form of, this shit is gooood... really f'n gooood...lol.. sad and funny at the same time... The only thing that could be salvaged from this meal was the fact that it was a cheap shrimp lunch for me, and not lobster dinner...lol.. Considering that it looked like a decent business district, this experience threw me off a bit.. I'm not above hanging with the drunk crowd... I'd just like to decide when I'm gonna be hanging with the drunk crowd...lol.

In my opinion, there are a few reasons to go to Red Lobster. 1) You are a PETA terrorist and you are freeing the listless lobsters on death row hanging out in the tank by the door. 2) The cheddar biscuits. 3) You haven't been to one in over 10 years, have a gift card/coupon, and are curious as to whether or not Red Lobster is anything like you remember. This weekend, I went for reasons #2-3. It certainly wasn't for the rest of the food, which was mediocre at best and outrageously overpriced. $15.50 for a tiny sliver of "grilled" (read: bland) salmon presented on a cedarwood plank (not sure what that was about, maybe some sort of pirate allusion), frozen broccoli semi-revived (though inedibly bland) by hot water and nothing else (this is the reason Americans hate vegetables), and a meh serving of rice pilaf. Ridiculous. I've had better food in a cafeteria. The $18 sirloin and shrimp combo was a bit better, because how can you go wrong with steak and a skewer of garlic shrimp? Actually, the garlic shrimp was just okay, and nowhere near as good as garlic shrimp can be (hello Jose Garces). The mashed potatoes were fine, but they're mashed potatoes. I could make better ones myself. The Caesar salad was overly salty, but serviceable. And these were some of the cheaper things on the menu. Plenty of items run up to $30, with lobster costing more than that. If you're gonna spend that much money, take yourself to a nice restaurant with halfway decent food. One star for the biscuits, and one star for friendly (but slow) service and vaguely edible food (I'm being generous here). Scratch reason 3. I guess that means there are only two reasons to go to Red Lobster.

All I can say is do not go here on a Sunday! The church crowd is in full throttle with screaming babies to boot--pretty much a guaranteed hour wait and heavy noise once you are seated. Go on the weekdays instead, especially in the early evening hours (4-6). In my experience, you are seated and served quickly, and it's quiet! For the most part, the servers have been excellent, and some have been outstanding. One server kept replenishing our drinks and biscuits without my having to ask, and he gave some extra biscuits for the road! Since I'm a creature of habit, there are certain foods that I consistently order here: Caesar salad, grilled shrimp, baked potatoes, sirloin, and broccoli. I've been going here for about three years. Yes, I know, it's a chain. But come on, each store in a chain can have some personality, and this one, I would argue, distinguishes itself through its quality service.

First time eating there yesterday and i was very satisfied. The only reason i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the wait. It was only about 30min but it was uncomfortable because there was no where to stand except in front of the lady's room. The food and service was great though! My waiter was very pleasant n had good suggestions, i liked that he was honest about wat was good n wat wasnt. Very much appreciated that. For the amount that me and my bf paid, i'd say it was worth every penny. We had fruit drinks, cheesy biscuit, two entrees that came with salads and it was about 40 bucks. My bf got the endless shrimp n he pretty much tasted all the different kinds of shrimp they had to offer. Even though the portions r small each time u asked for more, it allowed u to taste all the different flavored shrimp they had to offer. Overall, it was a good experience.

Yay! My first review! Okay, so I went to Red Lobster with my sister and her boyfriend for lunch yesterday. Technically, it was more like Linner, because it was 3:30, but what can I say? We're rockstars. Anyway, we decided to get anything and everything we wanted and share. First, of course, we got a basket of cheese biscuits. At first we were confused why a table of three would get four biscuits, but I just woofed my first one down and took the extra. They are a reason in itself to go to Red Lobster. Next, we shared the Lobster Artichoke Seafood dip...and weren't too impressed. It was really liquidy and tasted more like oregano than anything else. I got an order of snow crab legs (amazing), shrimp fettucini alfredo (super amazing), and garlic-grilled shrimp (also amazing). My sister and her boyfriend also got lobster, which they loved, and stuffed flounder which I tried and was fairly happy with, except it tasted more stuffed than flounder. Our service was really awesome, but if it wasn't for a gift card, our bill would have been kind of outrageous. So if you decide to head to Red Lobster, be prepared to dish out some cash. But all-in-all, I'd say it's worth it.
