Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Good food, great prices. We have tried sandwiches, wings, pizzas, etc. I can feed a bunch of kids pizza and wings from here for $20. Hard to do that these days. Their pizzas are OK, the New Yorker is really good (as long as you get it while still hot). Regular pizza not the best I have had but it beats a blank. Great menu which has a variety of sandwiches, salads, hoagies, burgers, steaks, grilled vegetable subs and hummus platters for vegetarians! Gyros are great and even have a few fries stuffed in them. Affordable, decent selection and they have a large delivery area. Friendly staff on phone and in person. Has specials and coupons - free sodas, deals, etc.

I like this place better than Sciarinos and Thunderbird, because prices are cheaper, and delivery is quick, and they are nice, the other places are somewhat rude. We order all the time, the pizza is good, I like the sauce, and wings are good too.

Good pizza! The crust has a sandy bottom. It's not too thin and not too thick. I've had a spinach and mushroom pizza there, which was really good. And their white pizza is pretty good too! I don't often get white pizzas, so I can't really compare them to other places, but this had good flavor and had just the right amount of garlic. I feel like this is a good pizza place when you want pizza but don't know where you want it from. They're pretty consistent, and I haven't had a negative experience yet. They're pretty friendly, too. But like others have mentioned, backing out onto 420 can be a pain when you leave.

I see I'm in the minority, but I didn't love the pizza. I didn't even really like it. Others had BBQ wings and those got two thumbs up. I'll probably try them again, but not for pizza. Delivery was fairly quick and the folks were friendly.

This used to be our go to place, but prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Disappointing.

Extremely satisfied. I have ordered a variety of things from the firepit, cheese steaks, sweet potatoe fries, Boneless mild wings, chips & salsa and their quesidillias, all were fresh ingredients, nice sized portions. They definitely do not skimp on the food. Friendly service and always plesant. Best pizza shop in the surrounding area!

This used to be the "420 Pizza" for locals, so I guess this is a new management - but the food was just what we were looking for tonight! I'm 36-weeks pregnant, and have no interest in cooking. Get me on the phone when I'm hungry and all a sudden I ordered: gyro, sweet potato fries, onion rings, 20-piece mild wings, and a Baby Blue burger for my Hubs. Everything was good! The fries even came with a tasty dip, which didn't last the whole order. Even Hubs was pleasantly surprised by the take-out. Next time we will get a pizza or two, from one of their daily specials. Looking forward to it!

I really do like my food that I order from here. Delivery usually gets here fast and the food is always hot. Only problem is every time I order delivery and add soda to my order, I never get my soda. That's the only reason I am giving this place three stars for the frustration.

Firepit I had to update my review. I'm a frequent customer and just got my delivery and my hoagie didn't have the tomato or lettuce I PAID EXTRA for. Pretty disappointed because everything is usually perfect. Bummer.

Always have good luck with this place. Usually get the cheese steaks with extra cheese, another great meal is the grilled cheese with fries and a pickle. Haven't had the mini tacos in a while but they're something to die for, never change fire pit pizzeria

I was looking to try different pizza around the area and stumbled upon FirePit. I ordered a small New York Pizza and paid $1.60 more for extra basil (which is ridiculous) and hardly even got ANY basil at all! The 8 slices I got in the small pizza were definitely NOT worth the $10.60 + tax and delivery charge I paid. I also ordered boneless wings because I love them. They weren't anything special and I only got a very small container of blue cheese for 8 boneless wings. Overall, the pizza was decent and the wings were nothing to write home about. I would probably order pizza from here again, but I would make sure not to pay for anything extra.

Food is great and delivery has always been spot on. But I also only live 4 blocks away. Great specials for lunch and eat there a few times per month.

I love using Grubhub, as it makes it clear what I'm to expect when my order comes, instead of someone making a mistake on the phone. We were getting delivery from Firepit, until the third or fourth time when our order was returned to the store because we "didn't answer their call".. Weird, none of those times did we have a missed call. Anyway, we've now switched to pickup, which is fine. But as I sit here eating a delicious calzone with my jarred spaghetti sauce that I had to heat up, I'm compelled to write this review. Every time I order a calzone, I ask for extra sauce. If I'm ordering a large calzone, I feel I should get at least two containers of sauce, but whatever. Anyway, the last time I asked for it, no extra sauce. Today when I picked it up, I specifically asked if there was extra sauce in the box, and that I'd be willing to pay the difference. I was told "don't worry about it, you're good"... I guess I was good because they didn't even bother putting the extra sauce in. I'm not sure why they're so stingy, especially when I'm willing to pay for extra, but whatever. I will close with this: I've NEVER had a bad meal here. So despite the fact that the delivery people suck and they don't know how to read the phrase "extra sauce please" in the notes section, their food is banging.

"Eh" pretty much sums it up. I got a slice of pizza and some mild wings. Both were just ok. Nothing wrong with them, but nothing great about them either. I wouldn't turn it down if i was at someone else's house and they ordered from here, but I won't be ordering from here myself again.

I stopped in last night to satisfy my latest pregnancy obsession: pizza. The man working the counter was very friendly, and I ordered a sausage pie. With tax, the pizza came to just under $14, and it came with a free 2-liter soda - I guess that was the day's special? My pizza was prepared quickly, and the smell driving home was intoxicating. I can't say this was the absolute best pizza that I've ever had - if anything, it was a bit greasy - but it was tasty and had a good sauce-cheese-topping ratio. I'm looking forward to eating the leftovers, and I'll go back.

The name of this place is part of the draw but alas no fire, no wood burning in a hearth. I ordered a New Yorker, a pie with sauce, basil and fresh mozzarella. The pie smelled great in the car on the way home -must have been the basil. The pie is tasty, but for me the crust is the deal breaker. The crust is not very chewy and there is a lot of corn meal on the bottom. The mozzarella did not taste like fresh mozzarella as advertised. Overall it was ok but not particularly impressive. I didn't care for the fact that when the pizza was put in the box it was laid on a 6 inch square piece of corrugated cardboard. Some of the "fresh" cheese slices stuck to it and came off of the pie face. This place is takeout only. (I have asked yelp to add this as part of the survey because if you want to eat in here, you can't tell and would not be able to tell unless you have visited.). There is a bench inside to sit and wait plus a large wall-mounted TV that you can watch while you wait. Service was pleasant and polite. Parking is angle parking in front of the store but challenging as you have to back out onto 420.

Never had their pizza, but their sandwiches and apps are awesome. Service is fast and friendly. Very professional.

I've only had the pizza and wings for take out a couple of times over a friend's house but they are very good especially the pizza.

I just started going to the Fire Pit a couple months ago and have to say that this place is outstanding. Their pizza, wings and Quesadillas are really good, the staff is friendly and food is consistent...what more could you ask for? If you haven't tried Firepit it's definately worth the trip!

Best pizza around ridley & the hot wings were really good too...way better than double decker.

I gave them a second chance and they blew it!! Placed 2 delivery orders. The first came without the side of cheese I paid for, to go with the fries. The New Yorker pizza had less than a handful of tiny pieces of basil. But the kids loved their chipotle sauce with the boneless wings. That's why I gave them a 2nd chance. The guy taking my order, the 2nd time, had nothing but impatience in his voice. I asked for jalepeno peppers on the side, for the quesadilla and Firepit fries. Also asked for a cup of chipotle sauce on the side. Also, explained what happened with the New Yorker pizza and asked if I could have a bit more fresh basil leaves on the pizza. Didn't get any of that. No peppers, no sauce and still only about 5 tiny pieces of basil on the pizza. Full disclosure ~ I phoned, asked for a manager, was told there wasn't one there so told the guy that we were throwing out their menu and wouldn't be ordering from them again. All I got to explain was the chipotle sauce, he said, "ok" and hung up. A few minutes later, he phoned back and said the driver was bringing another order of the boneless wings with the cup of the sauce. I tried to talk him out of that, was interrupted so just hung up. He never gave me the chance to telll him about the peppers or the basil for the pizza. We threw the menu away.

Great new pizza/sandwich place in DelCo! The sweet potato fries, although soggy (maybe get new containers) are unbelievable. They come with a chili chipotle sauce which is great! My husband and I both got grilled chicken sandwiches, and they were all chicken breast which is hard to find anymore! We also tried a white pizza which was good. We will definitely be going back to Firepit!
