The one star I'm giving Steam Pub is solely because we've been here many times, and always enjoyed the food and the service, and sent many other people there. But this last time I never got to the food because the blonde woman at the front was so rude I wanted to take my business elsewhere. We called ahead for a table for two as we were on the way. No problem, we'll wait when we get there. I give them my name when we get in and a younger, nicer, girl went to check the list for our name on the call-ahead list while the older blonde woman snapped at her in front of me saying "we're not taking anymore call aheads tonight!" as if she wanted me to know she was annoyed that I called ahead? Then the young girl proceeded to tell me that the wait would be a half hour. The older blonde woman wasn't having it and again barked "a half hour?! Try at least an hour!" I couldn't have been more disgusted at how this woman obviously didn't want my business. They were very busy and I'm sure she was frazzled, but I can't imagine a business owner that would be happy with your front end turning away business, both literally, and with a nasty attitude. I am sad to say that after this incident we will no longer be returning or referring our friends, family, and clients (as myself and my husband are both local business owners). I hope for their sake the owners realize that one woman making your guests feel unwanted at the door is a fast way to go out of business.

Steam is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and a place at which we hope to become regulars. We visited Steam on its second day of operation. Impressed were we with the enthusiastic and attentive waitstaff, the gracious space, extensive beer selection and some portions of our meal. Because Steam is new, we will forgive its missteps. We offer as constructive criticism the following: The noise level was uncomfortably high and some sound deadening measures are necessary. We left with headaches and ringing ears. My husband enjoyed his roast beef sandwich au jus, while my Italian chicken panini needed some adjustments. Most glaringly, the roll was pressed from side to side and not top to bottom. What resulted was a rather twisted mess, which was impossible to pick up. The chicken itself was succulent and flavorful, but the pesto was all but absent and the roasted peppers were barely a decorative garnish. The handcut fries were missing the Parmesan cheese and were tepid when served. While Steam gets credit for using housemade croutons, about 40% of my husband's side Caesar was croutons. The bottom line is that with a tweaks and Steam could become a GREAT addition to the 'hood. Fingers crossed that Steam lives up to its promise.

Hands down one of the worst restaurants in the area. The service was awful, and everything was flavorless bland mush. That's really all I have to say about this P.O.S. "restaurant".

First off, Steam has Chimay on draft. Yes, ON DRAFT. To me, that's indicative of a pub oozing with character. Overall, the drink list is pretty expansive as there are a number of good beers and cocktails. The food was pretty good as well. We really liked the port wine cheese spread and the bread that came with it. The Asian tuna Caesar and the Asian pear & goat cheese salad were pretty good although the tuna caesar didn't need to be so heavy on the sesame ginger vinaigrette. The sauce that the calamari was served in could use some work. As far as the interior, there are a number of TVs and the general layout makes it feel very spacious. Would come back here if I was in the area.

Headed to Steam last night for my aunt's birthday dinner after reading some great reviews. Seriously underwhelmed. Started with the chocolate wings. An interesting idea....for 3 or 4 wings, but not a plate of 12. Tasted like grilled chicken w/ a little cocoa powder sprinkled on, no taste of the hot peppers or tomato noted in the writeup. Uninteresting to the point that i asked for some buffalo sauce to liven them up. Dinner was a blackened shrimp salad. Mountain of iceberg lettuce w/ 4 medium sized grilled shrimp and some red onion and crispy taco strips. Again underwhelmed. Someone else had the crab quesadilla and was underwhelmed, same for the Leclair taco trio. Kudos on the stuffed portobello mushroom app. Also it was very cold, everyone at my table dined wearing their winter coat. Service was excellent, bartender made some nice recommendations based on expressed likes. Maybe it was just an off night but I doubt I'd give it another go.

Every time I come here it's busy. The drinks are great, they have special. I recommend the Cinnabomb martini. It tastes like a cinnamon bun. The food is pretty good as well. The burgers and seared tuna has been my favorites. They have a dj on the weekends so it's lively.

Recently moved into the neighborhood and Steam quickly became a favorite. Food is great and staff is the best! Can't go wrong here.

Ambiance/Decor/Atmosphere: Bar up front, seating area to the back and sides. On a Saturday evening the lights were turned down a bit to the point it was a little dark for my tastes. Otherwise Steam is quite trendy and upscale with a bit of hipster charm to make it work. Steam avoids cover bands and showcases local live bands as well as local artwork on the wall that's available for purchase. Noise/sound level: HOLY OMFGWTF!!!! Put a bullhorn to your ear and scream...then plug in the amplifier and raise the volume to the max and that's Steam on a Saturday night. This is about the only real negative I have, you're basically screaming at your dining partners to hold a conversation and go home with a sore throat. Menu: Not too big, not too small, carefully crafted to peak the interest of any diner. Service: Very good service, friendly, warm, quick but not pushy, good with suggestions and recommendations, if you know the right people they take care of you as well. ;) Food: Delicious, home cooked meal that any diner can tell the chef is cooking from his heart. Fresh, eccentric, and eclectic offerings that could demand a higher price if in the city. Bar: Stocked to the gills with any type of liquor you could want. Also, more beer than I've ever seen in my life; Steam rotates a huge variety of drafts and bottles throughout the seasons. Price: Typical of a trendy establishment but not super expensive unless you're drinking yourself into a coma. Overall: Quite the popular place, on a Saturday evening we waited about 30 minutes which was acceptable. It was packed like a can of sardines and the bar area was about four deep each stool. I'd go again it was a very good overall experience, good food, good friends, and good drinks.!!!

Since becoming a Fish Taco fan by having my first at the Jersey Shore's own Surf Taco, I have tried them often elsewhere. Although none have rivaled, today's at Steam, fell the shortest. A stick of fish served with a dollop of dry slaw on a soft taco is poor. The guacamole, sour cream, salsa and peppers were served on the side of the dish. Too much work and absolutely bland. Where's the special sauce most restaurants put on the slaw with all the other toppings and a lime to sprinkle a little juice on the feesh? I'm all for different but not regressive culinary behavior. I'm all for simple but this was simply lackluster. The bar was packed and all flanking me seemed to be ordering beef items. I would come back but would stay closer to the cattle.

Drink and eat wings only everything is under cooked! Its all weird bullshit pairings e.g. Crab meat and hollandaise sauce! Dont do it!

I had the privilege of frequenting steam on a recent business trip and I must say, everything was fantastic! I sat at the bar and always try new beers on my travels. I asked the bartender about a good ipa and was recommended the rock art twin tip... A great choice! After skimming the menu I settled on the flat iron steak. As I waited for my meal an acoustic band began to play and set the mood for the night. They played songs ranging from the 70s all the way to today. The music made my wait for my steak that much better. When my steak arrived it was accompanied with a provolone mac and cheese and lightly drizzled with a tri-berry relish. The steak was cooked perfectly and the Mac and cheese complimented it extremely well! In my recent travels to the east coast I haven't found a more enjoyable place to spend a few hours... Plus grab a bite and brew! I will definitely return next time I'm in town and tell everyone I know that steam is a top notch place and a great time.

We came in and had a great meal on a Saturday night two weeks ago,my wife had the mac and cheese burger and she loved it. I had the turkey burger which had sliced apple that really worked well together, we each thought it was a great place to dine. Today we went in and took my daughter for the children dine free special and the food was nothing special,it hit you in the face that this was bar food not the food from our first visit. So maybe their food quality varies from day to day, I can say when they are on,its great food.

The Steam burger and fries were cooked to perfection and were delicious. The waiter, who was great, but never told us his name, recommended two drinks that were perfect with our meal. I will definitely be going back.

I work in an office near Steam & a group of my co workers & I used to go there for lunch just about every single week. However, after 3 bad experiences in a row I can't say that we will be returning. The first bad experience came in January when we as usual went for lunch & felt that the prices had gone up a bit, costing each of us about $10 more than usual. No biggie really, cost of everything has gone up, we simply decided to cut back because we couldn't afford weekly lunches there anymore. The second bad experience came about a month or so later when again, we went for lunch. When asked by our usual server & hostess where we had been we were honest & told them that we felt they had gotten a bit pricey & we could't afford to come as often. And we were basically told that we were lying. That they didn't understand why our meals had cost so much more. One of my co workers felt that his fries were too salty. He was given a new order of fries, just as salty & burned slightly. Another co worker complained about a drink that she had ordered not tasting right & was basically told by the hostess that she was wrong because she watched it being made. As a paying customer, if I am telling you that I am not happy with something it is your job to fix it & make me happy. I'm spending my money here after all. This visit left a bad taste in our mouths... The third bad experience came recently at a friday happy hour, we were given a hard time about ordering drinks. When ordering additional drinks we were told by the server that when we finished the drinks we had we could order more because he didn't want to "back up the bar". People go to happy hour for cheaper drinks. I'm not going to pay full price for a drink after 6:00 so either you get my $5 now or you don't get it at all. Did I mention that their drinks average $10 to $12? But the final straw came when our group moved inside when it started to rain & upon trying to get a table we were told that people were waiting & we were not spending enough money for them to give us a table & we were asked to leave. For over a year we were regulars at Steam & really enjoyed going there. But we have all agreed that due to poo customer service & poor quality food & drinks we have received over the past few months, we will not be back for lunches or happy hours. So congratulations Steam, you have now lost an office full of regular customers.

I love Steam. Living in this area there only is a handful of good bars and this is definitely one of them. I am particular fond of their happy hour. Half priced drinks and $5 appetizers! Their chef is awesome, as well. Each week he puts out a new list of specialty entrees and apps. The service is stellar, too. The waiters, to put it bluntly, know their shit. Food, drinks, whatever you want they could tell you all about it. The noise level can get a little annoying the later you stay, but honestly this place is an all around great place.

This is the best bar in the Warminster/Southampton area. Great specialty drinks. Fun happy hour. And the food is always good. I really Like the change-up of weekly food specials and craft beers.

I'm a fan of this place on several levels -- I like what they've done with this building that has rolled through it's share of businesses over the years -- train depot, art school, salon, and now a nice bar and restaurant. The inside of Steam looks really cool and they have plenty of parking to handle the crowds. It was full when we arrived but the hostess was very pleasant and told us it would be about 15 minutes (and she was right on the nose with that estimate). We sat at that bar during that time and each ordered a beer from their draft list. When we sat down to eat, our sever was very nice and she was prompt with new beers and our food. We ordered wings as an appetizer -- one pound was the quantity in which they came. They were good and hot, but they weren't as saucy as I like -- the breading must have soaked it up. We didn't realize they were bringing a little appetizer as well so given the quantity of wings, we had about half of them wrapped up to go. We each ordered a flat bread and those were huge as well and we ended up bringing about half of each flat bread home. It reheated very well, which was good and was great when we had it originally in the restaurant as well. The crust was really crispy and flavorful. Overall, we were happy with the food and the service. Our biggest complaint about Steam is the same as all of the other reviewers -- the noise. It's insanity loud in there. They need to get that taken care of ASAP because it's almost unbearable. It detracts from the overall otherwise very good experience and I think it will make a big difference if they take care of it.

Probably one of the best places in the area for drinks and high end bar food. The drinks are great, the staff is nice and quick. I love the fact that they have outdoor seating. I've been to this place for both dinner and just drinks. It gets packed on a Friday or Saturday night.
(4)
Dolores H.
Food menu needs more variety , great beer selection. Some bands that play there so horrible it's down right hysterical . Probably the only decent bar to go to in the suburbs so it can get really cramped here on the weekends.

French onion soup and wass burger so good! They have great happy hour specials and Outdoor seating for those sunny days

Great place for dinner or just drinks. I've even been here for a 40th birthday party. The food is great, the staff is cool. And my husband loves the beer selection.
(5)
Julie M.
The food is subpar, the wait staff is far too casual with the guests and patrons are loud and even encouraged to be rowdy and rude. The decor is patched together and helter skelter. My food was cold and soggy by the time I got it.

Great menu. Staff is fantastic. Food is hit or miss. Filet sliders - the old way - and the Wass burger are super. Can't go wrong with quesadillas, french dip, or chop chop salad. Worth a try but stick with staff suggestions for food.

Love this place...have been coming here with my girlfriend for happy hour for about 2 months now....the service is great, beer selection is amazing, seasonal cocktail menu is beyond perfection and genus....would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great happy hour, you wont be disappointed

They have a great special on Wednesday all you can eat crabs for $27.99 and corona $3. I would give it a five but when we got there, they were out of crabs and out of corona drinks. We have ordered spicy garlic wings and it was delicious. As an entree my husband and I both ordered their famous burgers. I must admit thatt this burger was one of the best burgers I have ever tried. the atmosphere of the place is nice, pub like.

It's not a dive bar but the crowd n loud ass music doesn't help. Food is bangin but I guess I'm not into the lets drink fast n argue outside fan. Catch it on a good night n it's cool. Getting a extra star bc of the awesome draft list they keep.

Steam pub is the BEST of the BEST.. totally blows maggieos and kenneys away.. Love every menu they have... Great servers and chefs ! I love going here! Chris and jenna are the best servers (:
Excellent beer selection and bartenders that know what they are serving and make good recommendations. Good waitstaff. Great Happy Hour and Apps... nice place to meet up with a bunch of friends, grab a high top, and have a good time. Sundays nights are my favorite! Daytime good for families, but after dinner I would suggest no kids, as the bar can be filled with people loud and looking to have a good time.

Straight FREAKIN awesome restaurant all around. Food amazing (I had the Ribeye), service A+ (kid named Chris was our waiter, told him what I like and he made a great reco)... Plus Ribeye wasn't on the menu and I noticed the French dip sandwich was made of ribeye and he says, "Let me talk to the chef", and BOOM, Ribeye steak cooked perfectly. Like a perfect mid rare I mean comes out, GREAT JOB. Then I tell him I like horseradish and he brings out both horseradish sauce & straight horseradish... PHENOMINAL. My girl get the salmon salad and scarfs it down. Atmosphere was pretty jiggy, girls, music, place was pretty packed. WILL DEF be coming back

Solid 3. Great potential! Servers definitely need some more training and menu testing. We had a big group so I partially understand the difficulty with serving us but it took a half hour just to get drinks. Maybe they need some extra cocktail waitresses. Food was very good. I had the hummus and it was delicious. 3 different flavors on a platter with tons of pita and feta. Everyone else was satisfied with their meals as well. Drink menu is fantastic. Plenty of craft beers at a very good price. Lots of unique mixed drinks and desert drinks. The atmosphere is fun and energetic. When we got there it was very loud but by the time we left it was just ridiculously loud. You couldn't even have a conversation. It was almost to the point where it was annoying. They had a DJ and the music was blasting. Its a bar, not a club. Someone needs to realize this if they want to keep a good clientele. I will definitely go back and hope that they get some kinks worked out!

Food was good and prices were fair. Mild wings were way too spicy though. Service was very friendly and accommodating but slow and not very attentive to clearing the table.

Nice place, but they need to do something about all the fruit flies at the bar.

I personally found the food to be overpriced and occasionally awful. Their spicy crab chowder or whatever they call it is the cheapest tasting crap I ever had in my life. Decent drink selection though. As far as bars in the area go... It beats going to a Big Heads Pub, but not by much. The general atmosphere is pretty douchey as well. Typical Bucks County crowd.

I would recommend the crab cakes and spicy crab chowder soup. Both very good.

I finally had a chance to go to Steam and if I would have known how good it was, I would have tried it sooner. It's a nice place, but very, very dark inside-but I like that! They have a nice selection of beers and have several speciality cocktails. This would be a great date spot or meeting up with some friends. The food was very good, no complaints. The service was good too and the bartender was friendly. I will definitely be back!
(4)
Johnny B.
Probably the best beer selection around aside from Isaac Newton's. They are always rotating seasonal and popular microbrews on tap. The bar itself is about 75 feet long and on Friday/Saturdays they usually have 4 bartenders working so you should never have trouble getting a drink. The food menu is solid. I've only eaten there twice, usually go for appetizers/drinks later at night but I've had the Wass burger and the pulled-pork sandwich and they are both top notch. The only complaint would be it gets really noisy on Thursday/Friday/Saturday nights - almost to the point where it's hard having a conversation, but that is to be expected at a place catering to a certain type of crowd which promotes DJs, dancing, live music, etc. 5/5 will definitely go back.
(5)
Joe V.
This place is good for beer selection and the people. relaxed atmosphere and unique layout. The food is ok at best. They measure every pour of wine to the bottom of the steam logo and usually pour short. Eat before you go/

Went there on a recommendation and it was a good one! I had the steamers as an appetizer and it was fantastic! Beer selection is the best. I highly recommend it!
(5)

I love this place for happy hour specials. We always have good service and from 4pm-6pm Monday to Friday the ENTIRE bar is half price. They have a great draft selection (easily 20 beers long and they rotate) you really can't go wrong. The food for happy hour is a smallish list of 5$ appetizers. I usually get angus burger sliders (ask for their housemade chipotle ketchup) and Irish nachos to share! Try happy hour here!
(5)
Ernest E.
GREAT lunch, AWESOME happy hour specials, I have tried 5 different dinner entries now with not 1 complaint about any of them, each one is better then the next. Night life is an AMAZING time I prefer Thursday nights good drinks, good music, good crowd what more could you ask for. I will be back again and again.

This place is awesome! The beer selection is out of this world. There is always something new on tap every time I go. The food is great, too! I love the crab cake, lobster Mac-n-cheese, and Filet Mingnon!

Steam is a really cool place if you are in the suburbs. It is a welcomed direct competitor to Kennys. I have only been to Steam a few times, but I like the layout, the beer selection is good, and the atmosphere is good. It definitely is a unique design for a bar but it different and I like that.

Pleasantly surprised! Great lunch, excellent food, attentive wait staff and overall positive experience. We had heard some negative comments and if they were true, Steam must have worked things out. We'll definitely go back.

Amazing. Great drinks and food (appetizers and entrees) was awesome. Prices were right. Good size portions. Great neighborhood atmosphere and best of all, kids are welcome. My favorites: crabcake entree and tuna appy and the crab dip was great too. We will be going back again and again! Ate there again and it was not up to par. Also, the wine glasses are almost less than half full which is very disappointing. They should either get smaller glass or make the portions a little larger.

I have mixed feelings on this place. Each time I go, I have a slightly different experience. I've gone when it's dead and have had food come out cold (which they promptly replaced, so that gets an A+) and then last night when it was packed to the gills, half our food was lukewarm and the other half was hot. While the place seems a tad bit pretentious, I still have to give them mad props for their amazing drinks and ambitious menu. I think they're still having some growing pains from being new. The bar staff is so so, I've had amazing, knowledgeable, nice bartenders to ones that simply seem as though they can't wait to be done their shift and can't be bothered with extra courtesies. The beers and liquors are priced appropriately and while some drinks are expensive, the detail that goes into their specialty martinis completely explains the price. Hands down some of the best, fun cocktails I've ever had. The server we had last night was really nice, he did explain that he was bolting the minute his shift was over, but I'd rather hear that than be left w/o explanation. Overall he was really great and hustled to take care of us before his time was done there. Met the kitchen staff out on the deck and they were really nice and they told me a lot about the food and different specials and what to try, so that was much appreciated. I'll be going back to try happy hour as they suggested. I hope they only get better from here on out, it would sure be nice to see a new business thrive and have good food and drinks that patrons can count on each and every time. Also, most of the entertainment they've had there has been really good, so I hope they continue to support local music.

Right up front let me caveat my "3" rating by saying that this is a SOLID 3+ moving towards a "4". We visited at 5:30 PM on a Thursday evening a week after failing to get in the previous Friday evening. We were seated promptly, and our waiter Chris was with us quickly. We give Chris a "5 of 5" rating . He was super friendly, prompt, and very attentive. Seating: There is both outdoor seating out back on a deck and inside seating. The outside is nice comfortable cushioned patio type furniture with glass topped tables. The inside seating offers high tops, low tables, and bar seating. The place is much larger than it looks from the outside. The low tables were small, but because there were only two of us it wasn't much of an issue. But if there were four of is sitting at the table I think that we would have been really cramped. With one appetizer, the bread plate with spreads, two dinner plates and a water glass and beer glass each, our table was already full. Two more diners at this table would have been a significant challenge. Atmosphere: We were aware of the complaints about the high noise level, and when we first arrived it wasn't too bad. But when we arrived the place was only about half full. By the time we left I think every table was filled, and it was very loud. The music was audible when we arrived, but was absolutely masked by the din of voices over voices. We do think that something needs to be done to reduce the noise level. it is hard to hold a conversation across a table when the place hits high gear. We also sat outside after dinner to finish up our drinks. It was very nice, with a constant breeze and very comfy seating. Our only complaint (again) is noise. The music outside was very loud, and again conversation was difficult. Food: We ordered the grilled vegetables and bruschetta appetizer, the Chicken Kristine, and the Crab Cake entree. All were presented beautifully. The staff really does a great job making the food look great. The appetizer was incredible, and the balsamic vinegar reduction was a tasty addition. The crab cakes were....different.... but good! They were presented with crunchy potato strips over the tops, and coleslaw alongside/under the crab cakes. The crab cakes themselves were very spicy which caught us by surprise. The combination though was really good. The crunchy potato with the soft crab and the creamy/tangy slaw really paired well. The slaw also helped cool the spice in the crab cakes. Our only negative comment is that if you don't like spicy food, you'll have trouble with them, and the menu did not indicate that they were spicy. As it happens, we like spicy. Our second dish (Chicken Kristine) was good too. I like tomato based cream sauces, and this was very tasty. The pasta was overdone and soft though, and the chicken was somewhat overcooked. The chef did honor my request to hold the peas, and for that I'm very appreciative. I also ate the whole dish without complaint. Beverages: We love craft beers, and the tap list was good enough for us beer snobs. And somehow we stumbled in during Happy Hour, so my $4 beers were $2 and my wife's $5 beers were $2.25. Can't beat that with a stick!! I saw another review complaining about the parking and I'm not sure why they had an issue with parking. Yes, the front lot is small. But there is a very large parking lot along the side of the building with a ramp leading to the back entrance, and there's a HUGE lot behind the furniture store next door. Yes, you might have to walk 200 feet, but if that's a problem then perhaps you need a handicapped tag. I wish Steam well, and hope they address the noise levels. This place can become a "4" quickly, and hopefully will remain in business for a very long time.

We just had our work holiday get together at Steam last Friday. The place was a great place to have a party contrary to the perception of size of the building. It was happy hour when we got there and they have some amazing deals ranging from 1/2 price dinks( ALL OF THEM!) and $5 appetizers. Our service was good considering the crowds at the bar, and the food served was delicious- we sampled just about every appetizer and the only thing I did not like was the shrimp and scallop dish wrapped in proscuitto- it was my fault for not reading the description as it was served with barbeque sauce which to me did not go well at all together. All in all a great time was had by all with good food and drink- I will be back to eat here again.

Steam is a cool place but it's not overly affordable. It's a bar that's been built out of an old coach railcar so space is limited, but in a good way. They have several TVs, a few arcade games and about 15 tables. It's wall-to-wall people ok busy nights so it can also be tough to get food when everyone else is there to drink. They have play DJs and a small dance floor, but it's mostly a gathering place because there isn't a ton of space to dance. Good times though!

Very neat building its shaped like an old steam engine. Its a good place for drinks and appetizers. Dinner menu is small. I had the special, couscous salad. It came out to me without the couscous so they brought it out separately. It wasn't even a couscous but a small round pasta (not pastina). I did enjoy my salad. Everyone did enjoy their meal. It is a small restaurant so I wouldn't recommend going during busy meal times. I do recommend this restaurant. It is a nice atmosphere.

Been wanting to try this place since it opened. Glad we did. Met girlfriends for lunch & it was perfect. Good drinks, friendly staff, yummy food. I'll be back to try a night for dinner when there's a dj or entertainment. Nice private clean bathrooms (yes - when you're female -it matters!) 1 odd note: the entire time we were there we were swatting at fruit flies !! Where were they coming from? They were everywhere!!

This place has GREAT food. My wife got the lobster mac and cheese, mother in law got the crab quesadilla, and I got the fish tacos. Everything was amazing. Our server was Chris and we couldn't have asked for a better server. The beer was great too! This is one of the best places in the area. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I love this place, their "burgers of the week" keep sucking me in with their odd combinations. The food is always excellent. My only complaint is occasionally their live bands can be too loud to carry on a conversation inside, my suggestion is you get a table on their deck or the other end of the bar if there is a band scheduled that night

Great place, incentive choices to eat & drink. Oh, and tater tots! I love tots. Anyway, very enjoyable. I think you'll agree.
The best happy hour in Bucks & Montgomery County. Half off at the bar and they have a $5 food special as well. Bartenders are also the best around. Very friendly and your drink will never be empty for long. The food is also delicious! The crab dip is the best appetizer on the menu and I usually go with the french dip for a sandwich. Fries are also amazing. I've only had dessert once but it goes without saying that it was also delicious.

Get a seat outside on the deck. It's a cute comfortable spot that allows you to enjoy the summer breeze. Nice array of beer selections to compliment any beer style you would like. If you want to go outside the box, I enjoyed the kick from the jalapeño infused margarita!!! The filet and gnocchi app was so friggin delicious. The app actually took a little long to come out, but the manager immediately came out and apologize and took it off our bill. Didn't have too but seeing how our dinner was coming out at the same time it was really nice of them to notice and care! After a near death experience with a flying umbrella ( which we grab mid air unfortunately showing our super powers), I recommend the turkey burger and the slugger sandwich. Overall nice place! Ask for Ali as your server she was friendly and attentive. Definitely going back!

The best thing about Steam is the outdoor patio. It is big and the restrooms are right inside the door. Oh, and they were cool with our dog! The chop salad with falafel was awesome. I would love to eat that everyday. The crab quesadilla was pretty bad. It was the product of someone who has no idea what a quesadilla is or the characteristics of what a good one looks like, tastes like or feels like. This version was hard, dry and tasteless. The canned crab was no help. We each ate 1 of the 4 pieces and ditched the rest. Our last dish was the buffalo scallop and shrimp wrapped in prosciutto. The idea is great. The scallops and shrimp were good. Shrimp a little overcooked, but otherwise it was good. The prosciutto was a little dry and hard. The first few bites were great, but the buffalo sauce got a little old. The beer was good and the outdoor seating was spot on. Just don't get the quesadilla.

I really enjoy most of their appetizers (especially the tots)! Service has always been quick and friendly. Their late night bar menu is a little lacking but passible for a late dinner. My husband really loves the wings and cheesesteaks.

Wow where to start... It's hard to put my finger on one bad thing... Let's see the "bouncer" asking for 2 forms of ID? Really I'm almost 30, is my license with my picture not enough? Was it walking in to deafening music? Yes I understand that they have live music, but trying to blow the windows out was a bit much, making it louder does not make it better... Maybe it was the CHEESEsteak that I was served with no cheese? Or the lying waitress that told me they would remake it completely? They took it back, put half a slice of cheese on it and brought it back, I marked it, same one that was supposedly replaced. The "beer list" that is the most common 50 beers I could think of? Or that the 2nd beer was served in a small plastic cup? Again WOW!!! I don't know where to start! I do know that I'll never be back and I'll spread the word! One upside, I did get 10% off of $40 for writing a review, thanks! Scratch that, 10% of food only, it did say 10% your BILL not food only... And they have to take your phone to the manager for the deal, guess he can't come and check it at the table. If the manager did I could have told him about my experience... Shows just how much they care...

Stopped in here for a quick lunch on Sunday. Was drawn to the place because they had a nice outdoor patio and were OK with letting me bring my dog to sit outside by me and my guest. The hostess and server were super friendly and accommodating, even bringing us a bowl of water for the dog. I have to say, the price points on the menu are pretty appealing. Pretty good draft beer selection and a great bottle beer menu -- all at nice prices. Also, they had $4 bloody marys on the day we were there, and they were pretty tasty. As far as the food, what we ordered was OK. Had appetizers of the Buffalo prosciutto-wrapped shrimp and scallops and the crab quesadilla. Also had the Chop Chop salad with added falafel, The salad was really good and refreshing. Nice light vinaigrette over greens with mandarin orange slices, dried cranberries and pecans. Adding the falafel was a great decision. Nice and crispy but moist on the inside. The shrimp and scallops were pretty tasty, although there was just a bit too much Buffalo sauce, which detracted from the flavor of the shrimp and scallops. However, the seafood was cooked perfectly, and the scallops were huge! Sadly, the crab quesadilla was probably one of the worst things I've ever had. First off, the crab was so obviously canned crab meat. Gross. I had a shell in just about every bite, and the filling of the quesadilla itself was very watery. To me, that shows the canned crab meat wasn't drained properly. The filling also included spinach, cheese and onions -- none of which did anything for the flavor of the quesadilla. Also, the tortilla was rock hard. Almost had a stale quality to it. Couldn't finish the dish. The whole time I was thinking, had I had this dish as truly a first course, before a main entree, I may have otherwise canceled the rest of the meal -- they were that bad. Truly not a dish you want set the stage of an entire meal. Overall, the meal was OK. Maybe I would come back and try the burger or a sandwich, since I realize I only had a salad and a couple of apps.

I've gone here two times. Once on a Friday when there was a "dj" however it was too loud and the music was not good. The food was good - although we ordered Homey BBQ wings and they were EXTREMELY SPICY. Not what honey BBQ should taste like. There cocktails/margaritas were decent but not worth the price. The service was extremely slow and our waiter was, for better lack of a word, an idiot. I have never had a worse server than I did here . We definitely got stuck with the worst server. He was slow and inattentive and we always asked other waiters and they helped us faster than our waiter did. However the next time I went I sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly.

Went here after a funeral for a luncheon. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was yummy with good portions. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I would definitely go back under different circumstance and give it another try!

It's a typical local bar. I almost feel bad reviewing this place because I'm sure only local let's frequent it and it may be based on a reviewers frame of reference. Nevertheless, their playing Britney Spears oops I did it again and backstreet boys.... Nuff said? This is the type of place where people wear flannel shirts and drink PBRs The beer selection is actually quite decent. They have big screens to watch the games so that's a plus. This plays may be better in the daytime. I'll give them a thumbs up for carrying Stella cider though not a lot of places have that. $5.25

This place is awesome! I love the atmosphere of the pub. Very fun and relaxing. I came here with a group of friends on a Friday evening towards the end of happy hour. We were a group of 7 coming in without a reservation, but they were still really accommodating and had us seated within a few minutes. The menu was incredible. I had a cider sangria and a margarita. The cider sangria was interesting and I liked it. Not too sweet, which was refreshing. I wasn't hungry enough to try the macaroni and cheeseburger, but believe me it's on my list for the next time I'm there. I ordered tater tots and a veggie flatbread. Both of which were fantastic. I also tried the chicken bruschetta flatbread. Also amazing. I'd probably try to make a reservation next time, just to ensure I had a table and not have to worry about waiting. I can't wait to come back here!

This was our first time here! Our waiter was mike, he was attentive and knowledgeable! There specials change often and their presentation of the food is awesome! They have an extensive beer list and offer classic cocktails, dark and stormy was delicious! We had a tasty garlic shrimp appetizer, we enjoyed a salad and ribs and to finish it off had a brownie sundae! The sundae was the perfect portion, no too big, served warm with a scoop of ice cream! I would recommend this place and hope to return soon!

The food here is always fine, but the service is not always fine. The bartenders are kind of juvenile and bring the level of service down. I enjoy the happy hour specials on the menu, but I don't necessarily seek this place out because I just don't like the service and lack of professionalism.

This was a great place for a beer lover. A huge on tap as well as bottle selection. We have gone here twice and had great meals both times. I can highly recommend the galic hot wings. Large wings in a house made sauce that is spicy but not over the top. I can also recommend both their regular burgers and turkey burgers both came and were juicy and flavorful. Portions here are huge so you are getting your bang for your buck. Combine that with specials and promos and you can't really go wrong here. I am glad there is a quality gastro-pub so close to my home.

One of the best bar/pubs in the surrounding cities (Richboro/holland/churchville etc.) On Friday nights they have a DJ which generally brings in more college aged kids. Saturday nights they have live bands which bring in a older crowd. Regardless, the crowd is mix. So don't feel intimidated or "too old" when you see a younger crowd hanging outside the door. Personally, I like Friday nights. I'm not so much a live music fan. The speakers can at time sound muffled depending on where you sit. The food is great! In the summer they have all you can eat crab legs and discounted coronas. The burgers are magnificent as well. I recommend this place to everyone. It just ha a great vibe when you are with your friends. Don't be fooled by the shady exterior of the building. It's very nice inside. Reminds me of a bar downtown. They have many choices of drinks and beers and the bartenders are always willing to help you select something if you are unsure of what to chose from. Bottom line: check out both nights to get a feel. Try the food! Delicious. Warning: If you are a Council Rock alumni be prepared to run into everyone you graduated with from Hs here

Absolutely amazing! This place is about 30-35min from home but l don't care! By the time I bite into my second appetizer wing (garlic hot), I was already thinking about when I would be back! For my entree I ordered the Wass burger and subbed the beef for turkey. I accidentally forgot to mention hold the bacon and they recooked my entire order right away with no fuss or hesitation! The waitress was super friendly and attentive. I wish this place was closer so I could visit daily!

I've only been here late night for friends' birthday celebrations of drinks and bar food, but I've never had a bad experience. Last night my friends ordered food, but I had ready eaten. My friend Mitch raved about the "garlic hot" boneless wings. He gets wings everywhere we go - and he said these topped the area's offerings. Among other favorites of the group, were the crab quesadilla and the opportunity to have a fried egg on your burger. My friends were very pleased with their food. I have to mention the the S'more cocktail the birthday girl had, which if you are in the mood to indulge get this! Especially if you like chocolate - it had Godiva chocolate liquor and basically is an alcoholic hot chocolate, complete with a melted marshmallow on top. Delicious and a great winter splurge. It's very loud in Steam, especially late at night on weekends, but my friends also like to dance and there's never been a bad band there when we've been there. They usually play covers with a fun spin but it's always a good time and super fun dance music. I have to commend Steam too for their superb use of yelp! I checked in and got 10 percent off our bill - also made my friends happy :)

Awful food. Who serves fish sticks with a couple steak fries for a dinner entree when the person orders FISH AND CHIPS. It's supposed to not look like a soggy, shriveled stick with dry fish inside and tarter sauce from a jar. The beer was good and so was the location, but the food was nonsense served on a fancy plate, overcooked, expensive, and thoughtless.

I've been to steam many times and have to say the food and service is always great. The filet mozzarella is a great appetizer the cream sauce was awesome. I'm a beer lover so having a huge selection is nice. Overall for a pub outside of the city it's got to be best in all of bucks County. Highly recommend checking out this gem!

I LOVED the food here. The feel of the place is great, the booze selection is awesome. I had a $4 margarita that actually tasted good - and that never happens for that amount of money. My only complaint was not about the actual restaurant but its patrons, we were seated outside and the table directly next to me started smoking. Mind you, the designated areas to smoke were literally behind these women. As it was my first time there and I intend on returning soon I didn't say anything to these trash bags forcing me to inhale their smoke... however I would highly recommend staff enforce "smoking areas"... no one should be forced to eat around smoke. I'm asthmatic. That's nasty. ANYWAY - great appetizers, great drinks and great food. One of the best burgers I've ever had!

Came here on a whim for a quick dinner, and I must say I was impressed. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but inside it was quite nice and comfortable. There was a good crowd at the bar. We ordered chicken salads. I'm big on portion sizes with salads and this was not only filling, but great quality. I didn't see anything come out of the kitchen all night I wasn't dying to take a bite of! Definitely worth giving this place a try!

i thoroughly enjoy this place. name that tune (music trivia) on monday nights has become a monthly event for my friends and i. solid pub food and beer list for the 'burbs. last visit i had a delightful steak and watermelon salad and amazing rhubarb glazed ribs. and the rhubarb tart for dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was an almost perfect end - just wish there was more ice cream! not enough to cover the full tart.

Steam always stands out in my mind as a great place to go, but most of my experiences there were just okay. On Sundays, they have a great half priced bar menu, which is definitely helpful because they are on the pricy side. After 10 p.m. on weekdays they have a discounted menu, but nothing that spectacular. We were very disappointed with the fries, and the background music became so loud that we were screaming to hear before we couldn't take it anymore and decided to go somewhere else where we could hear each other. All this being said, they do have some great live bands every once in a while, and they have a decent beer and mixed drink selection.

(1)Alex G.

(3)Glen M.
The Steam burger and fries were cooked to perfection and were delicious. The waiter, who was great, but never told us his name, recommended two drinks that were perfect with our meal. I will definitely be going back.

Good service and bar food here. Drink specials when the Phillies play. Also kid friendly.

(5)Brian S.
This is the best bar in the Warminster/Southampton area. Great specialty drinks. Fun happy hour. And the food is always good. I really Like the change-up of weekly food specials and craft beers.
(5)Allison B.

(4)Dolores H.
Food menu needs more variety , great beer selection. Some bands that play there so horrible it's down right hysterical . Probably the only decent bar to go to in the suburbs so it can get really cramped here on the weekends.
(4)Brooke W.
French onion soup and wass burger so good! They have great happy hour specials and Outdoor seating for those sunny days
(5)Nikki S.
Great place for dinner or just drinks. I've even been here for a 40th birthday party. The food is great, the staff is cool. And my husband loves the beer selection.
(5)Julie M.
The food is subpar, the wait staff is far too casual with the guests and patrons are loud and even encouraged to be rowdy and rude. The decor is patched together and helter skelter. My food was cold and soggy by the time I got it.
(2)Bette M.
Great menu. Staff is fantastic. Food is hit or miss. Filet sliders - the old way - and the Wass burger are super. Can't go wrong with quesadillas, french dip, or chop chop salad. Worth a try but stick with staff suggestions for food.
(3)Alex S.
Love this place...have been coming here with my girlfriend for happy hour for about 2 months now....the service is great, beer selection is amazing, seasonal cocktail menu is beyond perfection and genus....would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great happy hour, you wont be disappointed
(5)Craig W.
Went for lunch. They have some different things offered, which is cool. Great beers on top, and the place itself is cool. I will be back!
(4)Tetyana P.

Great wings and drinks. A little disappointed the cheese steak said sliced came out chopped still very good.

(5)Kait K.
Steam is a great looking place. It is very open. The colors are warm and inviting. Booths seemed kinda low from the table, but they were comfy. There is a ton of seating (both at the bar and dining areas). I love the small details - like foot rail at the (very long) bar being a railroad track. Beer selection is great and the bartenders are friendly. I was told my wait time would be about 10-15 minutes - I was seated in less that time. The waitress we had quickly came to the table after we sat down and was very professional. While there are positives, there are some cons. The noise level is crazy high. I could barely hear my fiancé over the cacophony. The food was nothing to truly write home about. I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. There was little BBQ flavor yet the roll was "wet." It was lacking any wow factor when it came to the taste. I had the Caesar salad with it and that was just okay. My fiancé had the chicken panini - which had more flavor, but was still too subtile. I was hoping the food would be better. Again, not bad just rather bland. We waited about 30 minutes before our sandwiches with salads came out. Which seemed kind long for something simple. While it won't be in my top 15-20 places to pick to eat, it will be within the top 10 places to grab a drink. I am hoping that it will get better. There is GREAT potential for this place to make it. Just work on the food and the noise! I really want to see Steam get to it's full potential!
(2)Neeners D.
(4)Jay G.

(3)Donna K.
Food was good and prices were fair. Mild wings were way too spicy though. Service was very friendly and accommodating but slow and not very attentive to clearing the table.
(3)Jeff M.
Nice place, but they need to do something about all the fruit flies at the bar.
(3)John D.
(2)Joshua M.
I would recommend the crab cakes and spicy crab chowder soup. Both very good.
(3)Kat B.
(4)Johnny B.
(5)Joe V.
This place is good for beer selection and the people. relaxed atmosphere and unique layout. The food is ok at best. They measure every pour of wine to the bottom of the steam logo and usually pour short. Eat before you go/
(3)Ed W.
Went there on a recommendation and it was a good one! I had the steamers as an appetizer and it was fantastic! Beer selection is the best. I highly recommend it!
(5)Sarah H.
(5)Ernest E.
(5)James K.
This place is awesome! The beer selection is out of this world. There is always something new on tap every time I go. The food is great, too! I love the crab cake, lobster Mac-n-cheese, and Filet Mingnon!
(5)Kyle G.
Steam is a really cool place if you are in the suburbs. It is a welcomed direct competitor to Kennys. I have only been to Steam a few times, but I like the layout, the beer selection is good, and the atmosphere is good. It definitely is a unique design for a bar but it different and I like that.
(4)Victoria C.
This place is probably one of the better ones around. Good food, good service and not bad prices.
(4)Julie P.
Pleasantly surprised! Great lunch, excellent food, attentive wait staff and overall positive experience. We had heard some negative comments and if they were true, Steam must have worked things out. We'll definitely go back.
(5)Sharpie S.
(4)Leighkaren L.
Great food..nice bar..good service
(4)Aly H.
Food is fantastic. Good drink selection

(4)Curtis C.
Oh and our waiter Owen made it worth coming to this place., the burgers are great, great atmosphere
(4)Natalia J.
Cool place with great food!! Hummus & Fish tacos were delish!! & very filling! You definitely get plenty of food
(4)Georgianna G.

(4)Ryan L.
(5)Nick C.
(5)J S.
I found Steam a few months ago and love their food. They also have a great draft beer selection, so there is always something new to try.
(5)Harry B.
Great place, incentive choices to eat & drink. Oh, and tater tots! I love tots. Anyway, very enjoyable. I think you'll agree.
(4)Margie B.
I had the falafel sandwich with fries (SO good!) and my fiancé had the pork tacos and we shared a veggie quesadilla for an appetizer. Everything was AWESOME! It's a chill spot with a decent beer list but definitely go there for the food!
(4)Chris K.
(5)Ashley S.
(4)Sara W.
(3)AJ J.
I really enjoy most of their appetizers (especially the tots)! Service has always been quick and friendly. Their late night bar menu is a little lacking but passible for a late dinner. My husband really loves the wings and cheesesteaks.
(4)M A.

(3)Jay Q.
Went here after a funeral for a luncheon. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was yummy with good portions. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I would definitely go back under different circumstance and give it another try!
(4)Inna L.
(3)Jacquelyn W.
(4)Katelyn T.
(4)Karen W.
The food here is always fine, but the service is not always fine. The bartenders are kind of juvenile and bring the level of service down. I enjoy the happy hour specials on the menu, but I don't necessarily seek this place out because I just don't like the service and lack of professionalism.
(3)Zanna H.
(5)Mike N.
Delicious. Warning: If you are a Council Rock alumni be prepared to run into everyone you graduated with from Hs here
(4)Ebony B.
(5)Jennifer C.
(4)Samantha D.
Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere! I love everything about Steam. Can go from a Friday night club feeling to live band Saturday to family restaurant during dinner time. Anything I have ever eaten here has been delicious.
(5)Tricia W.
Great food, very fresh! it was a perfect experience! We loved it! the only thing is......... we could not read the menus! too dark!
(5)Kristina M.
(1)Michael F.
(5)K. B.
(4)Holley R.
(4)Alex O.
I am here every Tuesday for the $5 wass burger specials. Everything, I say everything on their menu is at least very good.
(5)Dana I.
Went for lunch tried the steak salad and the French dip sandwich ! Both very good- waitress was super nice- cool atmosphere and lots of tv's! Will go again !
(5)Jeff C.
Prime rib specials on Wednesday. It was a great cut of meat. Cooked perfectly. So delicious.

i thoroughly enjoy this place. name that tune (music trivia) on monday nights has become a monthly event for my friends and i. solid pub food and beer list for the 'burbs. last visit i had a delightful steak and watermelon salad and amazing rhubarb glazed ribs. and the rhubarb tart for dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was an almost perfect end - just wish there was more ice cream! not enough to cover the full tart.
