Save your money and time. They recently remodeled which equated to a few costs of paint and outside seating. Nothing more than your run-of-the-mill frozen food thrown in a fryer or on a griddle. If that's your sort of thing, this place is you. If you want quality for your money, keep driving.

I frequent this place probably an average of twice a month. I'm glad they are open most hours but personally I think they could use some help in the food. The service is great. They refill coffee like every 3 minutes. But food tastes cheap. Low quality. For a better dining experience, see university grill. Right up the street!

I visited this establishment on 6/28/2015 around 11 a.m. I was pretty pleased with this place. My food came out surprisingly fast. It came out so fast, in fact, that I had only just finished prepping my coffee with cream and sugar! I was also happy that my home fries came out well done like I had asked! I did, however, notice that this place is a little pricier than most other diners I go to. While the food was good and the service was quick, I say save your money and go elsewhere, especially if you're going for lunch or dinner.

Nice place to eat. Clean with ample seating, including outdoor seating. I had a chicken caesar salad for a quick, late lunch. Salad was served quickly, waitress was friendly. If back in the area, I'll probably eat here again.

First of all we are rating a diner, not a fancy expensive restaurant. The place is immaculately clean, brightly lit, and the sweetest staff I have had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. The service was fast, food was very fresh and properly prepared to our liking. I was just passing through but would definitely stop again if in the area. The prices are more than fair, nicest people and a clean environment with good food, it's what a diner should be, not the usual greasy spoon.

Went there on a snowy night with nobody on the road. The good: - Apparently they are always open. - Very friendly owners - Food was ready in 10 minutes, - Food is cheap - Food is reasonably good. The bad: - it is a diner, not a french restaurant

Uninspired diner food. Quick service. Nice staff. Clean. Beyond that,... Not much.

It's a good diner. That's the basis here. The food comes out fast and is hot and tastes just fine. The ladies are always super sweet and attentive. Honestly my last 3 visits to Ship I've made this a stop at least once sometimes more. Breakfast menu is great and I don't stray from there very often at all.

Just re-opened recently (like last week maybe). I was not in there before, but we went today and was very happy. I ordered a Gyro and fries and was quite happy. Fries were crunchy and hot. Gyro good, although I'd prefer a platter to a gyro in pita bread. Most places don't do that (Oh how I miss Casa d' Mama in Annandale). It comes w/ chips, but I ordered a side of fries and didn't look at the check. I sur ehope i didn't pay a lot for those fries because there weren't many there. Good but not much there. And I didn't get any chips, so I hope they just subbed themn in. Anyway, was great. I also had some cherry crumb pie... perfect! Yes, I am pretty picky and it WAS pretty good and... FAST! Wendy had an appetizer which was something called "Disco Fries" which appeared to be a dish of fries covered in gravy and cheese. She seemed to like them. She had for her meal, a Spinach pie thing. She also seemed to like that, but gave me her salad. Then she had some big, really good looking, chocolate mousse thingee. No hissing or faces or complaints, so I am guessing she did indeed like it. It was busy, but not über-crowded. Prices weren't bad. I sure will go again.

This diner is a little better than it used to be before the new owners. The food is what you expect for a diner and for the price. However, every time I have eaten there since it changed hands, the cook(s) stared angrily at us from the little window opening connecting the dining room to the kitchen. It was kind of funny, but also alarming. Also, there was one occasion where we stood outside to wait for the rest of our group to arrive before stepping inside to eat. The waitresses stood and glared at us. I'm sure they get a lot of annoying customers but we didn't even step inside yet.

Our food came out really fast and the people were very nice. However, the food was not very good. I got a French Dip sandwich and the meat was really rubbery, almost like a fake rubber piece of meat. I wasn't expecting a whole lot since its just a diner, but it just wasn't that great.

The new menu selection is great. I had the Shippensburg (Grilled Chicken Panini) was pretty good. The service was so so.
