Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

The calzones and the boneless wings were good. The service could have been better. You seat yourself, which is fine, but we ordered the wings as an appetizer and they didn't come out until our meal did. That is the only complaint really.

decent pie - nothing to write home about. Definitely better then chains pies. Price was a little high $15 for a large Pep and cheese.

Foods always good!! The Alfredo is bangin! Just took forever this past time for our food. We had the supreme/everything Stromboli and it was very good!

You become familiar with the taste of desperation when living in Central Pennsylvania. It sounds tragic, but it feels true. This is the better side of despair*, but it's got to be placed in perspective. Given your options around the area, Amato's is likely the highest-quality pizza you will find. And at that, it's decent. If you presented a slice from here to me in any other geographic location, I would have to pass unless I were hopelessly lost and desperately hungry on a residential street. Should you discover yourself pulling into the parking lot, make sure it's not a Monday. It won't be open (see, you should hate Mondays). When it is open, the pizza is fresh, the service is standard, the taste will tide you over until you escape this town. Their "subs" are your basic sandwich. Nothing I'd write home about. *de·spair noun \di-sper\ 1. utter loss of hope. 2. utter loss or absence of a proper slice of pizza within a hundred-mile radius. Source: Puja-Merriam-Webster Dictionary

It really can be hit or miss. I definitely had to try this out a few times to find my favorite items. The salads I am never crazy about. The hot subs are all worth ordering- especially meatball- and the pizza is good too. I wouldn't rave about it to anyone, but it's a Decent spot in the area where you can usually go with a group of people and not have a long wait to be seated.

This place is in a college town where there aren't many options to go out to a non-chain, non-fast food restaurant. Service is quick and friendly. I haven't had pizza from them, but I have had their pasta and was underwhelmed. It was okay, but nothing I couldn't have made at home. I did however really like their homemade bread and cold subs. The bread is delicious! I stopped by a few times just to get a few of their small loafs (~ 6 inch) for me to make my own sandwiches at home. Their meats and cheeses were fresh and packed on there.

This is a good place, but unfortunately it isn't up to the quality, customer service, or consistency of the Northumberland location.

So the food around here sucks. It's all fast food and fake pizza and Dunkin' Donuts. Thank goodness for Amato's where the food is fresh, the pizza tastes closer to NY/NJ pizza than anywhere else around here and the service is friendly.

Not that great! Pizza is fresh, pasta dishes pass over. Eggplant was frozen and reheated, perfect inexpensive college joint.
