Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I think this is one of the three best pizza places in NEPA. Right up there with Rosario's and Basilico's. Alberto Romano is the owner and has quite a personality. Highly recommended.

I've had pizza there twice now. I was there about a week ago and the pizza was fantastic! The time before that it was excellent too. This last visit I got a white garlic pizza with a regular crust (they also have deep dish) which has the added bonus of onion on top. It is one of the best white pizza's I've had and with the exception of Bleeker Street Pizza in New York it has become one of my favorites. The staff has been really friendly when there too which makes it a pleasure to stop. I really hope they stick around as they are relatively new I think. (if not I didn't notice them before)

Really nice little place. Been there twice now and enjoyed it both times. First time I had a cheese steak and the second time I had a meatball parm sub and a slice of cheese pizza. The bread the sandwiches are made with is top notch. Light, airy, crispy, very nice. The cheese steak was tasty, although next time I get one I'll ask for extra meat. The meatballs tasted homemade and the mozzarella cheese on it seemed beyond fresh. I'm not really a fan of just plain cheese pizza, but it wasn't bad. They have many different kinds of pizza though, which look very appetizing. Overall, I'm sure I will be back. It's a nice place to stop for a quick and inexpensive meal that is delicious too. Oh, and the owner is very friendly. My only caution would be to warn you there is very limited seating inside. Maybe 6 or 7 tables. But both times I stopped there were open tables. I would recommend if you're in Dickson City, you don't want to pay the prices of the large chain restaurants around there, and don't want garbage fast food, stop in. It really is good.

Stopped in for lunch and had the Philly steak with provolone, onions and peppers. Overall a very good sub. But what makes it is the roll. The very friendly guy behind the counter said they get them from Anthony's Bakery in NJ. Plus they lightly toast the roll. Nice. I'll be back for sure. I didn't try the pizza but it looked dang good. Next time.

Stopped at Spuntino's on a whim. It is really close to my apartment complex and I didn't feel like cooking, so why not. I wasn't expecting much, but was really impressed with how good it was. I ordered three different slices that were in the case, a vodka sauce slice, a chicken Alfredo slice and a buffalo chicken slice. The vodka sauce slice was really different, a little sloppy to eat but great taste. The chicken Alfredo had rosemary and potato slices on it which added a little too much starch but the flavor was good. Buffalo chicken slice was spicier than I would have guessed and a side of ranch or bleu cheese would have been a nice complement, but very good. I would definitely stop in again for a few slices of pizza and see what they have to offer. I'm just super excited to find a "by-the-slice" type of restaurant where I can sample something without ordering a whole pie.

I do a lot of traveling from NYC, through NJ & PA, and this place is one of my regular choices for a meal on the go. I've been there at all different hours & I've never seen a line. The pizza is pretty good, the place next door has Italian Ices in the summer, and it's really conveniently located. Oh, did I mention it's also very affordable & kicks the butt any fast food place? The staff is always super friendly. I enjoy getting some real food & sitting down to eat without significantly adding to my total travel time. Whether you live in Dickson City, or like me, you are just passing through, I highly recommend making a stop at this place. Bonus tip: The meatball parm sub is super yummy! Big enough to satisfy, but not too monstrous. The meatballs are soft & fresh made (home-style, not frozen!) and they use high quality bread & cheese. Everything was well seasoned & it was made quickly! Bon appetito!

Can't go wrong with Spuntino's. Very friendly staff and the food is priced just right. They have everything a pizza and hoagie shop would have and the food is actual pretty good. My personal favorite is the buffalo hot wing hoagie. I wasn't a fan of the plain pizza the first time I had it, but I'm willing to try the other types they have on the menu again.

This place has great pizza! I love the vodka pizza. The "Chicago style" is also delicious, but I wouldn't call it Chicago style, more like Sicilian. Staff is very friendly and it is reasonably priced.
