Went recently for lunch. Ordered the lunch special ($7.95): - Chicken satay (decent flavor but not as good as Thai Place) - Asian Eggplant and Basil with Chicken Now, what I like is that their menu has some authentic items like Larb, which is not carried by many American Thai restaurants and it takes me back to the night markets of Bangkok. They also offered a special black thai rice for $2 more, which I will try next time. Unfortunately, the place was empty. Service was efficient but could have been friendlier.

A bit expensive compared to other Thai restaurants we've tried, but the food is presented a little more upscale, so maybe that's their angle. The decor is nice when you consider that it's basically just a boxlike stretch of a strip mall vs. a purpose-built restaurant. My wife and I usually split an order of Thai Spring Rolls to start. And I always get a Thai curry for an entree. They serve it in a ceramic bowl that is heated by a small candle so it stays hot throughout the meal. The rice is pressed into various shapes and served on side plate.

Great service, good food, nice atmosphere. I really liked the Thai Basil noodle dish I ordered, it had a note denoting that it was spicy, but I would rate the heat at mild-moderate. My fiancé enjoyed one of the duck dishes. We've eaten duck at numerous Thai and China town restaurants and this dish was exactly what we expected. We noticed they also do take-out, a service we will definitely be using in the future! Overall good experience, we will be back!

This place is ... okay. There's nothing special about it, but it's also not awful. The portions seem a bit small for the price, and don't expect to be able to linger over your food -- we weren't even done eating (or finished our bottle of wine) when the check was put on the table. All in all, it was fine trying somewhere different, but I doubt I'll be back.

We were out near the area, so stopped by Thai Spice. While the food is generally ok to good, it's not a place that I would purposely go out of my way to reach. The green thunder fried rice was a bit salty, and the vegetable spring rolls were a little bland. Food aside, the service was good, but the joint's over air conditioned, so bring a light parka :)

Great restaurant and fabulous food. Thai food is one of my favorites! The soup; coconut & vegetables is one of the best I've had. The mock duck was very good as well. We also had the green curry-very tasty. Fantastic service too! Go, go, go u won't b disappointed!

Traveling for work and decided to try this local place. I had the pad Thai and chicken spring rolls. It was good. I would go back but not amazing or the best pad Thai I have had. The noodles were a bit thick on the sauce but that's a personal preference. Overall if you're in the area and want Thai I would give it a try.

We ordered massaman curry and pad thai, both with chicken. They were just satisfactory. The pad thai was a little on the sweet side. And I would have preferred more vegetables in the curry. They did throw in some banana egg roll dessert for free. We normally order from Thai Place in Phoenixville. This place is closer, but I think we'll continue to go the distance for Thai Place.

Better than others in the area, but expensive. Ordered chicken pad thai and it came out to almost $12. It was nice to eat some pad thai that had some spice to it. Too many pad thai dishes in the area are dry and bland, this was definitely not. As long as you don't mind spending the money I'd say go for it.

WILL STEAL YOUR $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I bought a restaurant.com gift card that they refused to accept. So my meal cost me $25 more then I planned on spending, and we ordered extra food to meet the requirements. I called restaurant.com and they said that the Thai Spice was contractually obligated to accept the gift cards, but instead they just try to SCREW their patrons. We will not be returning, the food wasn't even that good.

Friendly service. Food was awesome. Prices are fair. Portions are good. Red curry is awesome. Goes great with Thai ice tea.

Tried Thai Spice for the first time, and I won't be back. We ordered the Pad Thai, Vegetable Dumplings, Appetizer Sampler and the Pad Si Eew. Every dish was flat in flavor. Very bland and boring. Honestly, I don't know what else to say.

Definitely 4 stars for suburban thai food. Excellent ambience and service. Very wide variety of foods from traditional thai favorites to more stir fry-esque dishes. Serving size is average, perhaps leaning to the smaller side. Excellent curries to those who enjoy thai curries. Highly recommended!

The food is ok, not great, not awful but just ok. Just because something is spicy doesn't mean it is well seasoned, its just, well spicy. I like spicy but I appreciate flavor more. In the two times we have ordered we've looked at our plates after the meal and wondered why we ordered from here. I was tempted to give Thai Spice 2 stars because on top of the food being just 'ok' the prices for the portion sizes are really high.

Original thai noodle soup is great. Fried Ice cream was fantastic, it got lit on fire first!

Wow, I am definitely surprised at the other review here. I've eaten here numerous times (though it was always dine in and not take out so maybe that is the factor) and the food has always been excellent. In fact the last time we were here, which was a few months ago, we took another couple with us and the wife is a Malaysian who has only been in the US for like 12 years and she was impressed by the food. I've had numerous things from the menu from Kai Satay Chicken as an appetizer to Rama Pra Ram for a main entree and it has always been delicious. This last time we were here we got mango with sticky rice for dessert and some tea to wash it down (forget the name but it's sweetened tea served cold with milk) and both were fantastic. I couldn't stop drinking the tea and had several glasses of it. The only off/funny/strange thing I can say about this place is that you might be in for a surprise on your visit in terms of what is being displayed on the large flat screen TV that hangs on the main wall. They usually have something akin to the travel channel or national geographic playing on the TV. However on one of our visits they had some nature program playing that was showing carnivores in Africa hunting and killing their prey in very graphic detail. Now I'm not particularly squeamish but there's nothing like enjoying your meal to the sights and sounds of a gazelle being eviscerated by a pack of lions. The video was on a loop so we got to see it twice while we were there. LOL Anyway, aside from the bad choice of video entertainment on our one visit this place has never disappointed us with the food or service and the portions have always been good relative to the price. There aren't a lot of Thai places around in this neck of the woods to choose from but I would definitely recommend this one.

Great food and service. I'm Thai and my girlfriend and I enjoy Thai food in America. We ordered the yellow curry noodles, curry puff, and som thum. Many restaurants make som tum too sweet so we really enjoyed this one. It had better balance than others. The curry puffs were so good and the curry noodles were pretty good too. Unfortunately, we're a bit far so probably can't get there often but would definitely go back. Recommended! Check it out!

This place is great. You can tell they care about the presentation and quality of their platters. Good atmosphere, reasonably priced. Definitely good for the area it's in.

Wow. I was really impressed. I eat Thai food about once a week and have had Thai food multiple places in Maryland and Virginia. This place is authentic, and very tasty! I highly recommend.

Ordered take-out online -- got the Kai Satay as an appetizer and the Pad Cashew Nut with chicken. The appetizer was quite good and the peanut sauce was great. The Pad Cashew Nut was ordered as medium spicy and was very bland. I think there was only one cashew in the whole dish. Very disappointing.

I've eaten some fantastic Thai food in my life having lived in both NYC and DC for many years. Thai Spice is as good with fantastic service. I highly recommend Thai Spice in Limerick, PA.

We loved this restaurant! We went on a Friday night, and it wasn't crowded (always a plus). The service was really great -- very nice, very helpful, very quick. We had summa rolls, tofu tod and golden crispy (appetizers), and vegetarian chicken Pad Khing (hot....) and chicken kra prow. The vegetarian chicken wasn't really necessary -- the vegetables were so good (and the ginger sauce was SO amazing....) that it just added consistency to the meal. I would recommend ordering without it. We ordered a level 3 in spice, and it was HOT... (levels 3-5)......Lots of this meal went home with us! It's a BYOB restaurant, btw, with a liquor store in the same building. We will definitely be back.
