I was pleasantly surprised to have Dana from Corropolese email me in regards to my comments. She was upset to hear there were customers who felt slighted by her employees. Not many owners/managers both to respond to Yelps, so this said a lot. Happy to report I went in yesterday and the rolls, roast beef and cookies were outstanding. And the staff was helpful and friendly. Thanks Dana!

Corropolese Bakery in Limerick has the hands down best tomato pie anywhere, and their staff is the best!!

I also would like to defend a bad review by Michael H, I have shopped at Corropolese for along time and staff is always friendly and helpful and the food is great.I would like to point out with Michael H go and read all 19 of his reviews and all but 3 are bad say same thing rude staff expensive ect so maybe the problem is you Michael and not all the stores I found it hard to believe everywhere you go everyone is mean to you,if they were no one would go to these places and would be out of business.

Without a doubt, the best tomato pie I've ever had!!!! Quite frankly, I don't know why other places around here even try because there is no competition. The pies are ready for pick up, so all you have to do is come in and pay. I've never had anything else because I can't tolerate the smell in here. It always smells like old meat and gives me a massive headache.

Stop reading all these reviews and go get a tomato pie!

Good small Italian market. Decent hoagies and sandwiches. Pretty solid bakery. Good assortment of Italian specialty items. But the star is the tomato pie. That's what you come here for. Find the sauciest one, take it home, heat it up, be liberal with sprinkling on the Parmesan cheese, and enjoy.

childhood memory: smell of chlorine, dripping wet, hot summer day, pool party, break from swimming, wrapped in a towel eating a slice of tomato pie. def as good as it gets when it comes to tomato pie. hoagies are decent, never had much else. but seriously, if you know tomato pie, you know corropolease. and if you dont know tomato pie, corropolease is the place to find out about it. muliple philly suburban locations too. later trenton!

If your tomato pie is not from Corropolese, it's not tomato pie. Period. They also have other fantastic offerings, such as their baked goods and deli salads. I also find that they are great for other little Italian extras you might need - a jar of sweet peppers, frozen pizza dough and sauce, etc. Grew up with Corropolese in Norristown and I hope to carry on the tradition with my kids here in Limerick!

Best Tomato Pie in the area, I wish his variety of Hoagies were better, being born and raised in Philly I'm use to getting a good hoagie when I want one.

I wish I could say I tried the food. The reason for the review is that I've been in there several times, even when they weren't busy, and never even got waited on. Maybe it was because I just shaved and wasn't cool enough for them. (Yes, I made eye contact.) Considering that nearly every deli here is Italian and that every chain supermarket has the same offerings, why would I go back after experiencing this treatment? Last time I checked, I am not an invisible Pukka, like Harvey the six foot rabbit. Neither is my wallet invisible. Both me and my wallet will go elsewhere. I really don't give a flying fish that they are "family owned"! That often means "no training for the staff". (I bet if they read this review, they still wouldn't care.)

Grew up eating Corropolese Tomato pies, and they are simply the BEST tomato pies in the region..can't be beat IMO. Their rolls are good but I've had better from Conshohoken Bakery and bakeries down in the City and Jersey. When it comes to their Hoagies, I prefer Primo's and Sonny's hands down. For the area, it's pretty good Italian food.

I've been eating Corropolese tomato pies for years. They are incredible. Mom always picks one up for the holidays or when we're having a get together at the house. Rolls from Corropolese are a necessity for making any type of hoagie. Friends from college always ask what tomato pie is and the only way to give them the full effect is to bring them a piece from home.

The tomato pie is a can't miss crowd pleaser. Simple and delicious! Every time we've had it out for a party we had lots of people asking us where we got it, wanting to find more.

tomato pie. the end.

It would be a 5 star rating, but the service at times is a bit off. They have a bunch of young kids that work there and from time to time it just seems like they cannot be bothered to help out a guest. That being said, once you get past some of the rude little buggers, the food is amazing. The tomato pie is hands down the best out there. It has no equal. The rolls, desserts, really anything you order is just amazing. If they would just instill a little work ethic in some of the younger kids that work there it would easily be a 5 star place.

OK, since I grew up in Norristown that means I also grew up with Corropolese pizza and baked goods. This business is still family owned by the original Corropolese family so you know the baked goods are good and consistent. If you've never had a Corropolese tomato pie then do yourself a flavor and try this simple tasty classic. Very Italian and very good.

The ABSOLUTE best tomato pie around. It is hands down ( and I've had them all) the freshest sauce, amazing bread. I'd go there all the time when I lived in East Norriton and then in Lafayette Hill. Now I have to drive an hour from S. Philly but it's totally worth the trip!!

The tomato pie is PHENOMENAL It's not too sweet and the flavor is so savory. I wish this place was closer to my house, but then again I'm glad it's not!!
(5)Vanessa M.
Love their tomato pie and oven baked chicken! We come here all the time because it's very close and we have never been disappointed! Keep up the great work and service!

Love this place. Walk to the door, trip over the doorsill, fall & stumble forward anywhere, reach up.... whatever your hand touches WILL be good. Me, I luv their tomato pies!! And whatever devilishly-tempting desserts are up front. Will be back soon to load up my fridge with their fantastic deli selections!

Best tomato pie you'll ever have. It's a fact. I've actually never eaten anything else from Corropolese. I'd suggest ordering ahead of time to ensure you get your tomato pie. Corropolese is great to bring to a picnic, BBQ, sports party, kids party, graduation, basically anything you may need to bring something to... Corropolese will for sure be a smashing hit. Trust me, I've seen it outshine the main dishes at other parties. It's a no brainier.

This place is the gold standard for tomato pie. When I see people buying tomato pies from other places I just cringe.

(3.5) ~ Good overall food & service OUR MENU: * Chocolate Chip Cookies = (4) very good...soft & chewy * Sweet Pepper Stromboli = (3.5) good * Tomato Pie = (3) ok NOTES: It's like a Deli Market inside and yes they take credit cards.

The absolute finest in fresh baked goods. You won't find a better fresh bread or roll for your family's needs. Also famous for their Tomato-Pie. You can get these with mozzarella on them as well, essentially making them a thinner sicilian pie. My wife adores their cookies, you can usually get a big box of assorted italian cookies which she will demolish in a few hours.

Come on, it's Corropolese... Get early and get in line, hurry! If I say anything else more people might show up and I won't get my heavenly order.
(5)Leslie K.
We always pick up tomato pies here, good stuff and usually nice folks working the counters/registers. On this particular trip, we picked up a cake to take to a gathering and everyone really enjoyed it. Good stuff, check it out if you haven't already. Be warned: during football season if the Eagles are playing and you want a pie - better preorder.

Someone from work first introduce me to this tomato pie a while back. Finally got this today for lunch and I must say this is the best tomato pie I ever had.

One of the things I miss most from being near home!!! Tomato pie and hoagies are DELICIOUS!!!!!!
(5)Jeb C.
The best lunch deals in town. Tomato pie is great for $4 for a 1/4 sheet (enough for 2 meals). My favorite is the sweet peppers with a side of pepperoni. I wouldn't recommend the crabcake sandwich, but their Italian hoagies are good. Their baked goods are fantastic and you can't beat the prices.

Excellent party food supplier. The tomato pie (5 sheets) disappeared in 30 minutes for a collegiate rugby team. Small parties too. The rolls (pan or kaiser) make a sandwich..... They are the best. Pulled pork ( ask for extra juice)with horseradish too and you have the best loved food for your guest. Italian cookies are great around Christmas. In terms of cake I find their regular yellow cake better than the pound. It's just far more delicious. Potato gnocchis are the best here ( don't ever over cook potato gnocchis) and if you don't have time to make your own pizza dough, theirs is really good. Sauce is good too... I usually only eat my own though. Love this place. Took me a while to get used to the limerick lay out... Used to norristown. Deli great also. Can't go wrong here.

"I'm in love and I don't care who knows it!"...with the Tomato Pie!!!! How do you describe a local staple such as tomato pie? It is awesome cold pizza and corpolese makes the best. I grew up eating this stuff so my opinion my be biased but oh how I love their tomato pie!!! My new favorite is the cheese and pepperoni tomato pie- a must try . The sauce here is pasty and sweet ,compared to others, but it is my favorite for tomato pies. The deli is ok/good here but I have other favorites in the area that I go to for sandwiches. Therefore, I won't judge the deli and just say get the tomato pie!!! It is a must.
