Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I loved this place! Its close to my home & work. The girls at my office & I order there at least once a week. Until now. Slowly they have been slacking. Last time I ordered mega fries (which come with a side of ranch), they didn't include the ranch. Its not a big deal, so I let it go. This time when I ordered, I specified that I wanted of side of ranch. They still didn't bring it. The mega fries were gross. The menu says it comes with bacon. As in regular bacon. It came with half cooked turkey bacon, which I do not like. They should let the customer know if they don't have the proper ingredients, or turkey bacon is what they now use, update the menu. My coworkers meals were just ok. They forgot cheese on one persons CHEESE burger. I honestly don't think I'll be ordering from there again. There are many other local places that are a lot better.

We ordered from this place all the time when we lived in Roslyn. We always used grub hub. Two or three times they messed up the order, but they always made good on fixing their mistake. Their pizza and cheesesteaks were delicious! We always got their pizza and wings deal. Would recommend.

I would go into milano's and take a huge dump on their counter and tell them "who would serve this heaping pile of shit?!" then look down at them closely and say "milano's would".

I very rarely write reviews for restaurants...especially bad ones. I've worked in the food service industry for quite a few years and that's made me pretty forgiving. That said, I felt compelled to create an account here JUST to talk about how awful my food from Milano's was. My family and I ordered tonight for the first and last time. Below is a list of what we ordered and comments on each individual dish. Cheese steak and fries: Serviceable...Very average. Not great or terrible. Chicken Picata: The worst meal of the night. It was literally just chicken and extremely overcooked pasta, in butter. Tasted like nothing. Chicken Marsala: Same as above but had some mushrooms thrown on top...so points for that I guess? Completely without sauce. Chicken Alfredo: Again, extremely overcooked pasta...Probably one of the worst alfredos I ever tasted. It was just thick bland cream. No cheese flavor. Moral of the story...If you want a "meh" cheese steak, Milano's is your place. If you want absolute garbage pasta dishes, nobody beats Milano's. Please for the love of God do not give these people your business. If I could give them 0 stars, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Stopped in for takeout and the fries were half decent. This time we ordered delivery. They got the order wrong, I called back and told them. The girl who answered the phone proceeded to say "what do you want me to do about it?" I then stated I just want what I paid for. So she said she would send out the correct order. Needless to say the order came back wrong again. I ended up driving down there to milanos myself to get a refund. Seems like the workers don't completely know the menu as I was supposed to get fries as part if the sandwich but was charged for the fries . Most likely won't order from them again.

This place is located in a strip mall. It has dimly lit sit down dining, but no one was sitting when I arrived. We ordered take out, and I believe this is where they get business. We had a coupon so we tried this place out. I had a chicken parmigan. Wife went with a seafood pasta with mussels, squid and shrimp. I did a pick up for the items. I was surprised at the amount of food given. We had two pizza dough bread sticks, side salads and our entrees. The entrees could easily feed two people. Between the two adults and one child we still had a lot left-over for another meal. I can only speak of the Chicken Parm. That was my order. The chicken was well cooked. I am not certain if it was over cooked or if the chicken was just stringy/tough. It came with heavy breading on it. An ample amount of pasta and sauce. I felt it was also slightly salty to taste, not so that it was inedible but still a little too high for me. The salad was fresh, no brown lettuce and the other vegetables were crisp. I'd try them again as nothing was great or terrible, kind of middle of the road. But, that is what you expect from a strip mall take out location.
