What a gem to find in Rochester. From the parking lot and the outside of the restaurant it doesn't look like anything special but when you walk in, you would think that you were in Sewickley or Pittsburgh. They have a bar, some high top tables and some booths and regular tables. They also have a little outside area for when the weather is nicer. They have an area with coolers filled with beer. I will say that their beer is priced more like a Pittsburgh restaurant/brewery and their prices are not listed so you may be in for a small shock when your bill comes. I personally found that they have a lot of hoppy beers and IPAs which I am not a huge fan of but they always have at least 5 or 6 that I would be willing to have. A pro to this place is that they allow you to sample what is on draft and they tend to have things that you may not normally see in a local bar. Their draft menu appears to change quite frequently so if you see something on their website, try to get there quickly. We have also eaten here and I will say that they have some very good food. My friend ordered the crab cake which was mainly crab and hardly any filling - a perfect match for me! My husband had the chicken thighs with multiple sauces and was full with just three pieces. I think on Wednesday or Thursday they offer a $1 chicken thigh special which you may want to try out. Here is my warning - stay away from the Abidance Sauce. I have had it and it beyond hot. Next to the face melt steak tacos it says Extremely Hot! But this is an understatement. Even under their sauces list they list them on a heat scale of 1 to 10 with Nihilist being a 9 and Abidance being a 10 but there is truly no comparison. I would put the Abidance on at a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10 and I like hot things. Now some of you may call me a wimp but if that's for you then I will bow down now.

Great ambiance, well appointed, good pub menu and very friendly service! The atmosphere is great, like an old speakeasy. The bartender and her hubby the cook made us right at home and let us try several beers before making our selection. The two best things about Hollywood Gardens: 1. the beer selection 2. The steak salad baby! Pro tip: Check out the "beer cave", a fantastic array of micro, and imports!

Wow, new favorite bar in Beaver County! No tvs, beercentric and a cool patio to boot! Dive Bar turned Gastropub! Hollywood Gardens has an awesome selection of beers in thier beer cave as well as a full service bar serving upscale pub grubs. If in the area do not let the non discript sign out front detour you. It is dark, cozy and friendly in here. You can tell the staff cares about quality in all they serve. The bartender let us try a sip of the guest draft before commiting to a whole glass. Our shaved steak salads w/ handcut fries were delish, I was impressed with everything. Can't wait to visit again!

Having worked here a few years back my opinion might be a little skewed, but every time ive been there since I have never been disappointed! Food is always great (and the kitchen is immaculate, FYI). Awesome selection of beers but they also have wine and enough of a selection of liquor for non beer drinkers. Fish dinners are SO good and one dinner is enough for two people. The owner is very involved and strives to keep things changing for the better for customers.

This spot was a very pleasant surprise. A very creative and talented chef. We expected pub type cuisine, which is there. But the surprise was the dinner special A seared tuna that was excellent. Done perfectly. Wonderful choice of sandwich and salads, beyond the ordinary. I had a grilled chicken breast sandwich with bruschetta that was excellent. Not sloppy and easy to enjoy, and tried a Voodoo ale craft beer, also excellent. The Rumba was also excellent. This is a creative. Menu. I plan on going again soon. Not an expensive spot, bu high end quality. It is not a fine dining atmosphere, but friendly and quite good. Much higher than average. Good food and excellent craft beer choices. Both on tap, and from the Beer Cave. I will be watching for their own microbrewery to open. It looks to be excellent, based on this first visit!

Hidden gem of a bar/restaurant. The atmosphere is something you would expect in a big city. Service was very good. The hummus was amazing and fresh. The cheese board hit the spot. A surprise find in Rochester! Would definitely come back!

Ordered the Rochester cheese steak with garlic cheese sauce and sweet sour slaw. Steak is delicious, marinated. Slaw is delightful, wonderful texture, vinegar based

You would not believe it's in Rochester when you go. It is high class and worthy of a lot of praise. That one bad review is a joke. This place is really really great. If you call ahead they will even save seating for you if you bring a large group. One of the best bars in the are for sure...if not THE BEST.

Terrible customer service by some of the staff. Rude to the entire party. I have heard great things about this bar, so I was really let down. Will never be back.

This is one of our most favorite places. The food is great. It's nice for being able to talk as its quiet without the TV noise. My husband loves their craft beer. We will be back soon.

One of our new favorite places. Yes, we knew the beer was good, great actually (and its about to get even better with their own brews as well), but the food is worth the trip as well. We had some great soup two weeks ago, a cream of mushroom with spinach, roasted garlic (yum!) and chicken...it was delicious. Also had a Shepherd's Pie that had a bar-b-q twist to it...fantastic! Their cheese plate is definitely the best in the area and is hard to beat even when we travel. If you haven't been here and you drive by you will either 1. miss it, as there is no great signage, or 2. think I am crazy because even when you know where it is at, you are not expecting it to look SOOO nice inside. I guess they like being incognito... They are a full bar, so don't be afraid to go if you aren't into beer. But if you love good, quality beer (like I do) then this is your place! NO TVs...conversation instead...I love that.

When I am craving a cheese plate, I'm heading to Hollywood Gardens. Delicious food and a great variety of beer to match. One of our go to places in Beaver County. Not your average bar food, a nice change of pace.

One of my fav places ion Beaver Co.. I am not a beer drinker but that beer cave is uber impressive. Our waitress was helpful and attentive. We started with chips and salsa, which you could tell was fresh! I had a chicken and prosciutto wrap, while the Lloyd had the fish and mac n cheese. I don't even like fish but his was light and flavorful. The mac n cheese was gooey and had a very delicate flavor, hard to explain because it was so different than standard cheddar cheese. For dessert we had a bacon maple sunday.. WOW. The place is very nice for a date night- No TV' No rowdy kids- Just great food and a nice clean place!

Great beer selection, nice gathering and meeting place, good bands. All around above average place to grab a drink in Beaver county

The food menu is much renovated......needed it, not that it wasn't good, but the new one is more pedestrian. Probably more appealing to a larger segment of this market. Remember, this is "downtown" Rochester. Big and luscious burgers, lots of bacon! The draft menu is superb and always changing. If you don't like it this week, come back next week. Lots of brews not all that familiar. Really a nice, adventuresome place. Ed Powers plays acoustic guitar between 7 and 8 as a warmup to the featured band. Very, very nice. The interior is so changed from several years ago. Nice place to bring a date - ..........now.

If you're a beer snob, this is your place. They must have at least 300 beers to choose from between their beer on tap and their awesome beer cave. The food is great. Great beer + great food = a win every time. They even have a free beer taste testing from a different brewery every monday between 7 and 9 which is more than any other bar in Beaver County can say for itself! It's very small and intimate so it gives it a good, homey feel. This isn't a bar to go and make a fool of yourself at...no...this is a place to kick back and relax with good company over good drinks and good eats and make even better memories.
