Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I have been going to Nino's for years. I remember when they were next to the Turkey Hill (Little Nino's), up from their current location across from George Field. I also remember when they started out, they weren't as good as they are now. Over the years I have tried a variety of things from their menu, and I gotta say, all of it is high quality. Their pizza, from deep dish to New York style pies are fresh and delicious. I'm addicted to their cheese burger subs, and if you get a large, you'll find it more than a meal on the portion. In fact most of their portions are more than generous. The really great thing about this place is that the rolls are baked fresh daily. They don't come delivered on a truck. The rolls are big and crusty on the outside, and soft in the inside. As a major bread fan, this makes a huge difference in the taste of the sandwich. Made to perfection to hold whatever choice of condiments, meats and veggies you slide in there. (Making me hungry just thinking of it) Even their salads are mega huge, fresh, and tasty. It's all about the ingredients, and this place does it right!

This was one of the worst dinig experiences I can remember. The linguini in white clam sauce was inedible. I gave one star for the service. My recommendation to Yelperd is find another restaurant.

Decent food and nice sized-portions. 2 of us ordered a medium stromboli and only ate half of it. The other half could have easily been another meal. I'm not a fan of eggplant, but their eggplant fries were delicious; I highly recommend them! Nino's is located behind the Dunkin Donuts on 5th Street Highway and right next to George Field.

Upon arrival at 7pm on a Friday night, the staff was very attentive and seated us almost right away and the atmosphere was friendly and casual. We had bruschetta as an appetizer and it was mediocre. Just diced tomatoes on a toasted long roll with very garlicky olive oil. There was no basil or mozzarella in sight. For my entree I had seafood marinara over linguine. However, I didn't receive linguine I received spaghetti instead, not a big deal. It was cooked just right. Before I tasted it I had to drain nearly a full salad bowl of water from my dish. Also the seafood (shrimp scallops clams and mussels) were over cooked. My wife ordered penne with a pink pesto sauce. She enjoyed her dinner and I tasted it and enjoyed it as well. We haven't ruled Nino's out and will try them again however, our search for a really good trattoria continues...

Awesome food! Come here for lunch during work and dinner anytime. Never had anything that wasn't delicious. The freshly made bread is the best around. Friendly staff too

A step up from a pizzaria. Family run and fresh made foods. Comfortable atmosphere and freindly staff. Reasonably priced. Returning customer for several years, I have never left disappointed. Best bteads in the area, hence the great pies.

Inexpensive and good food. Staff and service are provided well. Parking lot is too small. Hard to find a place to park during lunch. Their bread is unbelievable.

Had amazing soup yesterday (shrimp and roasted corn chowder). I will stop in here when I am traveling through the area. Waitress was great, but the counter service was not very friendly. Also, my pizza tasted blah, almost like it was made at 10 am and I got the last two slices 2 1/2 hours later. The friend I went with said the same thing. That is the first and hopefully last time I hope to have a bad slice from here.
