Nice little family diner. Had the turkey club with fries, not bad. Pies in the cooler display looked good.

Truly disgusting food. Went with wife and daughter. French onion soup, tasted like a dirty dish rag, turkey club was dry and tasteless. Salad bar just ok. Soups were not very good. I ate prime rib...now I have been on the toilet all night Server was wonderful. Although I live close I will not be returning

Best salad bar and soup! Also my favorite is Roast Turkey with a whole plate of Potato filling and cranberry sauce!! Being from Va but grew up here!! Miss the Amish large portion platters. Easily enough for 3 people

Outstanding service and food. Prices are very very reasonable. Salad bar itself is a meal. Love this place and hope to eat here again. The cookies are some of the best Anywhere.

The worlds saddest fried pickles, half the breading was missing, and they were soggy from the frying grease. But the other food was pretty descent, awesome soup.

I had a wonderful experience here! Mainly because the Chicken Parmesan I ordered was absolutely wonderful and fantastically delicious! They have a good salad bar for a small town, but I wouldn't consider it exceptional. The veggies were pretty dry and didn't seem fresh. The fixings weren't fresh either (canned or packaged). Their soup of the day was clam chowder, and that was good. And my entree, the Chicken Parmesan. It was unbelievably good! The portion size was so huge!! I could have boxed up half and taken it home --even after making the biggest dent I could make! If you're not from the area, you may have to hold your breath when walking outside. It smelled HORRENDOUS due to the nearby mushroom farms. Also, the water was pretty gross. Just order something else.

Visited crossroads for the first time tonight. I ordered a ribeye steak med rare. What I got was a slice of prime rib. I can understand the mistake and the server was Very apologetic and felt bad. I was hungry so I decided to keep it. It was mediocre at best. I will return to try that steak. A bright spot in the dining experience was the salad bar. And because of the ribeye oversight we got a complimentary dessert! And it was wonderful.

Maybe it's just because it's in rural, industrial Pennsylvania, but I saw no reason to be impressed with Cross Roads. The pies and desserts looked fabulous (didn't get to try), but the meals weren't anything spectacular. The main thing the restaurant had going for them was the unbelievably large portion sizes! Easily should be two or three meals instead of just one. But the water that the restaurant used tasted off (glasses of tap water were usually given back in favor of iced tea or a soft drink). The service was forgetful and would forget the extra drink order someone had added on. Also, like any family restaurant, don't expect to satisfy the requirements of your low-cal, low-carb, low-fat salads while here. I got the black and blue salad (blue cheese and steak on a simple house salad) to avoid feeling bloated in the heat, and there wasn't much in the salad except for lettuce and a couple tomato slices.

The servers are pleasant but the food is flavorless. Not even salt helps. And how awful is it that the Spanish omelet is a cheese omelet with salsa on top? They need new recipes and a new cook! The only thing I look forward to is the delicious chocolate dipped peanut butter balls known as buckeyes.

I was traveling through. Had a gyro, and a cup of chicken noodle soup. Good quality with huge portions. Very tasty, huge piece of apple pie too. Well worth the money. Service was very good too.

Love this diner. Best diner in the area with a clean tasty salad bar with many choices and a great menu. Price is a deal with specials including salad bar. Always have leftovers. Friendly service, always. They have tons of pastries, as well.

The server was great, her name was Lauren she was attentive and very pleasant. The owner was very aware and came over to the table and ask how we were doing, it was a good time overall and had a warming atmosphere. Food overall was a 8 out of 10 I has a burger medium rare and it was cooked perfectly the service was a little slower due to confusion and that is why I'm giving it a 4 star review I've been there before and the service was amazing so I guess it depends on the day.

Ate there for Lunch this past Sunday and was really pleasantly surprised with the service and food. We were just passing through and looked on Yelp to find a diner. This was perfect and the reviews were right on! Had beef patty, scrambled eggs and home fries, all items hit the spot. The portions were definitely more than adequate and was fairly quick. Pies and parties look awesome, did not indulge but really wish I had. Definitely worth a stop!!

I went there tonight and I'm sick from it. I ordered the veal cutlet. They had 3 different veal cutlets on the menu and I really have no idea why except so they can deliberately overcharge you because they are all different prices. I ordered the veal cutlet with tomato sauce and told her I wanted it plain, nothing on it, and a side of fries. I had the salad bar and that was okay. When our dinners arrived, my friend's was flavorless, no seasoning whatsoever. I received a veal cutlet with cheese and dry spaghetti. I immediately told the server there was a mistake and she said they'll 'fix that for me'. I didn't like the sound of that because I knew what was in store for me. Sure enough she returned TWO MINUTES LATER. The same veal cutlet had no cheese on it. They peeled it off and threw it into the deep fryer to attempt to burn off the rest and disguise what they did. It was HORRIBLE. The dry spaghetti was gone and she brought fresh 'Burger King fries' at my insistence. They were terrible. I took the bill and saw that they were attempting to overcharge me $4.00, and that was because she originally wrote up the bill wrong and they refused to correct it. They didn't even comp the sh!!ty meal or ask if I wanted anything else when she could see I barely touched anything. I guess it would be a nice place to go for breakfast or sandwiches but don't waste your money on the fries or any kind of dinner. I've been there a 1/2 dozen times and the food is all pretty much frozen garbage. This is my first review and my last visit.

This diner is all we could have hoped for when looking for a quick place for breakfast. Delicious food, prompt service, a varied menu, and reasonable prices made it the perfect stop as we passed through the area. Thanks, Yelp!

I would give this place a minus 1 but that is not an option. Service is horrible and the owners should be ashamed of themselves for refusing to accommodate children. They refused to make my kids pancakes because they were not serving breakfast anymore. That is understandable if it was not a choice on the regular kids menu, and how hard is it to make two pancakes at 11:30 in the morning. AGAIN it was on the KIDS REGULAR MENU as an option! NEVER AGAIN NEVER....

Again the team at Crossroads is getting it right. It's a Friday night and the place is packed! For a diner in this area, that is saying something. The traditional diner menu stands on its own, and the specials are unique. Mustard glazed salmon. Prime rib. All are done with care and pride. You don't usually find that in this category of restaurant.

was going to a fightin' phils ballgame, ordered crab cake sandwich, grinder, cheese burger & reuben. The hamburger was huge, the crab cake small ( but good ), the grinder was served with pita chips instead of bread ( it's meat was beef but was expecting lamb ( a let down ) and the reuben had corn beef was quite thick and while good couldn't finish it, they have a full service bar and far out deserts, parking was quite good and the meal overall was not bad but not great, the service was pretty quick but we arrived at 3:30pm and the senior crowd was just coming in and the wait for the food was a tad long, on a 1 to 10 I would give it an 8, stop in and see for your self

Feeling famished after an early morning stint at the Leesport flea market we were in the mood for lunch and it was only 10:15. We're not familiar with the area but saw that the parking lot was filled and figured that was a good sign. Lunch at 10:15? Not a problem at Crossroads, even though lunch doesn't start till 11 they were more than happy to allow us to order from the lunch menu. The food came out super fast. I ordered the grilled Reuben and it was just the perfect combination of briny and crunch, not overly dressed with thousand island or soggy. A cup of soup that was included, the beef noodle was equally delicious and filled with fresh vegetables. The grilled sticky bun is also heaven on a plate and highly recommended. Portion sizes were average and the plates weren't really "dressed" to impress but we left very satisfied with our meals. Prices were average as well. I would recommend Crossroads to anyone looking for a quick tasty bite.

Typical family diner with lots of food choices and a salad bar to add on as a side. The waitstaff has always been friendly and the wait time virtually nothing. Their desserts look fantastic, but they don't skimp on the meals that I never have room to try them... One day!
