I really enjoyed Pizza Randa, I found the owner Sal to be really nice, he chatted and kept us entertained while we waited for our pie and caprese salad. Loved the food and the atmosphere. Will definitely go again.

Sal's is a great place for a nice dinner for two or for the family. The service is great, as is the food. The pizza is really great too. My wife loves their vodka sauce.

I'm on a business road trip all week and I was dead tired, so I ordered Pizza delivery to my hotel room. The guy at the front desk recommended Sal's...I owe him one as the saying goes! This pizza was extremely good so that was my dinner last night and it was good enough that I decided to go to the place for Lunch today as well! Ended up going the non-Pizza route this time and was not disappointed. In the grand scheme of things, you can find better Pizza than Sal's...but not very often. I cannot call this a 5-Star because there are very few Pizza places I reserve for that rating. However, this is better than 4-Stars...more like 4.5.

This is a really solid local pizza place. The calzone was one of the beat I've ever had, and the pizza was definitely above average. The service is fast and friendly, too. We ordered in a snowstorm and it was no hassle at all.

Sals Pizza Randa has great pizza and great folks to serve you. This family oriented restaurant is a great place to stop if you are passing through Quakertown. Don't miss it!

Went to Sal's after hearing great things about the place. The pizza was burnt, dry, and tasted like cardboard. The pizza had no redeeming qualities to it at all. Sauce was bland. The grilled Italian hoagie was so watery it made the bun soggie. The hoagie tasted like warm water and melted while eating it. There was no flavor in the meats. It made me feel sick. The Cheeseburger Hoagie was okay and was probably the only thing edible. The cannoli was okay. It didn't taste homemade and tasted like it was previously frozen. The fries were soggy and tasted old. Nothing tasted fresh or delicious. I'm sure great food can be had here, but during my experience the food was very poor. I can only make my review according to my experience. If my experience ever gets better (however, I don't plan on ever returning), I will adjust my review accordingly. UPDATE: A friend of ours told the owner of our experience. The owner said that if it happens again to bring the food back for replacement.

Restaurant atmosphere & prices are good, I really like the food, but I like Sal, the owner, the most, he genuinely cares about his customers and is always very receptive to them (he gets it). One day I was waiting for my lunch and he made me a free expreso which was absolutely amazing. You can't go wrong here and there is a nice, clean dining area located in the rear of the store.

I had really high hopes for Sal's after reading Yelp reviews. I needed a place to order from for dinner while staying at a local hotel. I ordered a turkey club sandwich on white toast with french fries. The person taking the order either did not immediately know what a club sandwich was or did not know that it was on their menu, as I could hear her trying to figure it out and asking someone. After taking the order, she told me it would take an hour, and I was prepared to wait. However, the delivery took closer to an hour and a half. I would not have minded this if the food showed up in good condition and hot. Inside a crinkled bag with grease spots on top of it, there was a styrofoam container too small to contain both the sandwich and fries. The container could not close all the way, and was held in place by masking tape, fries spilling out the sides. There were no condiments, no salt or pepper, and no napkins included. The sandwich was put together sloppily. I had asked for a club on white toast. One piece of bread was toasted, one was vaguely toasted but had no color, and one was not toasted at all. The sandwich's contents were falling out and bread was falling apart despite the toothpick, because it wasn't put together the way a club sandwich is normally put together, and the lack of toasting. Bread was no longer warm, tomatoes and lettuce were no longer cold, etc. The fries were cold and had no salt or pepper on them. Since no packets were included in the bag, there was nothing I could do about it. It seems, from other reviews, that this place is decent if you dine in. So, perhaps my experience is more indicative of delivery service. The hotel is only an 8 minute drive from the restaurant, so really, there was no reason for the food to be room temperature on arrival and late. I would have been totally happy if just the fries had been hot. The rest would not have seemed so annoying. All together, it was just a disappointing meal.

Veggie grinder was decent, wish they had hot pepper relish, settled for banana peppers. House salad came with Marinara pasta, salad had fresh carrots, radishes and olives. Asked for balsamic dressing, they brought balsamic vinegar. Waitress was very sweet.

We love getting take out from Sal's, the pizza is fantastic about 95% of the time, and they are pretty on point about pick up times. I have taken my children there to eat inside before and service is quick. The people are extremely friendly. I would strongly suggest to stay away on Halloween - one year it took over 2 hours to get a pizza that was promised in 25 minutes.

Friendly. Good pizza. Also had the baby shells with red sauce . They were tasty but not cooked Al dente. 14$ for a 2 topping medium pie (mushrooms, peppers). Will go there again to try something different.

We found Sal's online when searching for a place to get dinner on our way to picking up our daughter from a local camp. The servers are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Menu has alot to choose from. My son ordered the kids ravioli, which was pretty tasty, probably frozen ravioli baked in a sauce w/ melted motz cheese. My Mother ordered a hamburger with onion rings. The mushroom burger looked awful (canned mushrooms) and meat looked disgusting, but the onion rings were delicious. My husband and I split a Hawaiian pizza and ordered garden salad. I asked if it was iceberg or mixed greens, she said greens, but it came out w/ iceberg. We asked for balsamic vinaigrette, and it came out w/ oil and balsamic vineger. The crust was good, but the toppings were not. Don't expect fresh pineapple or flavorful ham. It probably depends on which toppings you order, so I would suggest going with traditional toppings vs specialty. They are BYO, but we didn't. Overall it was fine.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
