Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

when you are talking about a buffet you have to take into consideration that it is going to be on constant heated dishes, there is going to be things that have sat a little while, and extremely hot plates. With that said... Sakura is not like this at all. The variety of food is top, I have eaten here 2 times and the second time was better than the first! their seafood is very tasty not to fishy unless you get the breaded (obviously frozen) foods. the Americanese saucy chickens, porks, and beefs are always delicious, the fruits and deserts are fresh never too ripe. The hibachi and sushi bars are fantastic. I will admit this past time my sashimi was old and I did not bother eating it BUT the roles were tender and flavorful. I have yet to eat the hibachi but I assure you I will next time around. All in all this is a very good buffet. You wont have Emeril shouting "BAM" when new food comes out but you will find what you are looking for in an all you can eat joint. Enjoy I hope you have a pleasant meal.

Let's put it this way. After a few trips to this Chinese buffet (now called Hibachi), I became violently ill and actually had to miss work the next day. So did several of my friends and family. I noticed many of their dishes were cold and left out on the floor for hours. I truly hope the Board of Health checks this place out. I, along with all of my friends and family vow to never eat here again. I highly recommend the Garden Buffet just around the corner. At least they constantly check their food and keep it at the proper temperature. And best of all, I never got sick from eating there. Go figure!!!!

Worst food ever. We were served hot bottled water. They stalked our table to see if we were feeding our toddler so they could charge us. My husband vomited less than 1 hour after eating there, and I spent the rest of the day in the bathroom. Clearly food poisoning.

Set back in the Quakertown Shopping Center, this chinese/japanese buffet on paper had the potential to be a very good experience. However, it like many buffets failed to deliver. First of all, the basic chinese dishes were sorely lacking. Lukewarm food, food that had been on the steam table too long and sorely underseasoned characterized the dishes. The pot stickers were hard on the edges, and there were not a selection of different dumplings. There were not a good selection of different dishes, including no general tsos chicken, and only one vegetarian only dish. There actually appeared to be more american dishes than chinese. The salad bar was small, and also included pick and peel shrimp and oyster, though of dubious quality. The sushi bar was not bad. Not many exotic fish but here california roll and vegatable rolls were reasonably well made. Hibachi line had potential. You choose items from the bar and give it to the cook who cooks it in front of you. Choices included vegetables, noodles and three proteins: beer, chicken and shrimp. The chef will ask you if you want garlic added along with sriracha sauce. My strategy next time might be to use two plates.. one for the veggies which cook down and one for the protein and noodles. It is the best choice for entrees in the building. The desserts were plentiful, including many ice cream flavors, however, that never is my focus at such a buffet. Fruit was ok, range of cookies and pastries though no chinese almond cookies. For 12.95 I expect more, fresher and better care. Perhaps the hibachi for lunch would make it a better value, but this place has a long way to go to be a place I would return to.

It sucked. If you are in need of minimally acceptable food in plentiful amounts, here's the place. The seafood looked gross, the sushi creeped me out but the chinese staples like lo mein and boneless spare ribs were good. Chicken with Broccoli was flavorless.

You get what you pay for. The food is decent and there is variety. The hibachi grill is the prize here.

Our group arrived at 8:00 p.m. They close around 9:00 p.m, and I believe that's what caused our problems. After ordering drinks, we went to the buffet. We could not find the rice, but we eventually saw two small rice cookers off to the side. There was barely any rice left in either of the two rice cookers. The food choices were very small and were basically scraps and not much else. Eviscerated meats and bone-filled fish lay on metal trays, ready for further dissection. There were only a few pieces of sushi left and they didn't make more the whole time we were there. Most things were bland and barely warm. I'm sure that lo mein would be better hot than cold. The buffet area was a mess. Empty pots and heating trays blocked one of the aisles. It was a complete, a COMPLETE waste of money. After I had two small plates of food, mostly french fries, we left. None of us wanted to pay for that slop and it got us pretty angry, but what can you do. They will never see our money again. NOTE: It's been awhile since my last visit. They may have improved conditions/food. If you've never been, try it at least once to see.

What I can eat is pretty good but definitely a better place for a carnivore...not very many options for a vegetarian.
