Their country burger was great! Pulled pork over a burger hit the spot. Their Mac cheese is Kraft and isn't home made so I'd avoid that... But besides that pretty good!

Kathy's is a tiny, but great place that I have heard extremely good things about from neighbors. I finally got the chance this morning. This is my new local favorite breakfast spot in the Quakertown area. It's cozy, the servers are friendly, and they have real home fries, browned on what I think was cast iron (I think that I smelled and tasted it). A full mug of hot coffee, not a tiny cup. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits with a side of scrapple. Next time, I'll eat healthier and try an omelette... I promise. The food reminded me of Dad's breakfasts on Saturday mornings as a kid... Complete with the same sign that my Mom had in our kitchen... I'll be back.

LOUD!!!! Food was ok. My eggs were way under cooked. Menu says endless cup of coffee, in an hour I got 3 cups. Service needs a lot of help. 3 waitresses for 12 tables, come on service should have been much better than it was!!!!

I have driven by this place a hundred times. This is the old melody lakes mini golf and chipnput. Food was excellent and they didn't mind making it to order. I had authentic chipped beef and my wife had the Farmers Daughter (we needed to share this). I had my cb over potatoes topped with two over easy eggs and toast on the side. Excellent! Prices are good and reasonable. Why 4 stars? Service waitress forgot about us. Didn't even get a coffee refill for my bottomless cup ofJoe. I'm sure I could of flagged her but ..., it's a small place. Different waitress 5 stars.

Food was ok , I got pancakes and my bud got eggs ,,, nothing special but a good breakfast , now the not so good part , waited up front for 10 mins as servers walked by just looking at us , nothing not a thing ,, then we were brought to our table order got out good and that's it , the waitress never checked on us not once ,, just brought the check and we just left after waiting for her to come back to pay like 10 mins , there's three or four girls working and so few tables so don't really understand why they didn't pay attention , that's three tables a person ,,, I still wood go back for the food but if I get waited on like that again I will not return

Found the breakfast to be wonderful, great selection and variety for everyine to choose from. Small joint, with a great feel inside, the lunch is great as well...when your done, just head right outside for some mini golf...how sweet is that!

Good little place on 309. Nothing fancy, but the food is good and the service friendly. Rate it the same as a nice diner. Had the loaded pirogies. Delicious.

Nine of us visited here for breakfast. We were promptly seated together at one table. Because we arrived in stages, our server provided us with beverages until all of us arrived. Throughout our stay we found her to be friendly, efficient and attentive. The menu choices here are a cut above standard diner fare. The omlet options in particular are imaginative and, as those who ordered them commented, "very good." The fruit in lieu of potatos contained fresh ingridients including real rasberries! All of us were very pleased with our choices. Now, if the establishment could just find a way to keep the cold breeze out of the restaurant whenever the front door opened, we would be totally happy! This is not the fanciest establishment we have been to in our travels, yet it is clean, well lighted, and welcoming.

Kathy's is a great place to eat. Me and my family have been eating there most weekends and have been enjoying what ever meal we choose.the food is delicious and very affordable.

My wife and I ate here last night. My wife got the meatloaf and I got the country fried steak. For an appetizer we got the country fried bacon. Every thing was excellent. Those bacon strips were really awesome. Both of us enjoyed our meals and the price was very reasonable. The staff was very friendly. I highly suggest this place and we will be returning shortly.

We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place was full. The decor is fairly plain sort of ranch house dining room. However, it was clear that people were enjoying their meals. The noise was fairly high but not enough to interfere with conversation. The staff was very friendly and professional. The interesting thing was that all of the staff helped one another, so that there was no long waits to be served or get anything. The food was great. There were some interesting specials, but we ordered off the menu. I had an scrambled eggs with meats and vegetables with home fries. It was terrific! My spouse has a western omelette with home fries. Again it was freshly made and well spiced. All at a reasonable cost. The menu had virtually everything one can expect in a breakfast menu. The lunch menu was interesting. At the end of breakfast, I took out credit card to pay without having the bill. The hostess immediately came to make sure we were finished and we received the bill. Overall, this was a find for us that we will frequent often. Kathy's Kitchen is certainly just the right place for a welcome and hearty breakfast on a chilly morning!

Been several times and have not been disappointed. Great breakfasts. The whole family loves it. Service is always pretty good. This has become a go-to place when we want to head out for breakfasts.

Comfort food! Kathy's Country Kitchen is a warm and inviting restaurant that will make you feel at home. The country inspired decor is a nice touch. Ordered by my friends and I were the Macaroni and Cheese, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Cucumber Salad, Chicken Salad Sammich, Tuna Casserole, Mashed Potatoes, and Chicken Croquets. Food was amazingly delicious and the prices were very reasonable. There is even a take-out window.

We tried their take-out on Saturday night -- cowboy mac and cheese, chicken and dumplings, fries, a hamburger, chicken wings. A good sampling for the family. Solid food. The chicken and dumplings were five-star, easy -- so good, such killer flavor. The hamburger was a little dry and not spectacular, though the wife liked it well enough. The food was a bit of a mess in terms of take-out: kind of slopped into take-out containers without any kind of portioning. The food was good enough we went back for breakfast on Sunday. Cream chipped beef, eggs, potatoes, French toast. The coffee was... eh, fine, but the breakfast was killer. Only complaint there is that the staff seemed like they hadn't yet formed a routine. We were the only ones waiting to sit and it took us a while to get a table, and our waitress kind of orbited us a handful of times though we already had drinks and were ready to order. The place is a stone's throw from a five-star country chow-spot. I figure once they get up and running into a proper routine the bumps will even out. This is, no joke, food like my mother makes. And my mother is a great meat-and-potatoes cook.

I and my friend ordered different kinds of burgers and we both didn't like itl. It's too greasy and not delicious at all!

Great breakfast spot! Doesn't look like much from the outside but go in! The interior is country themed and clean. Waite staff is friendly. Food (speaking for breakfast only) is great. (rare for Quakertown area ) Try it! Supposedly great comfort food lunch and dinners but I can't review them as I hadn't tried it yet.

Jess and I ate here after spending some time at the Three Stooges Museum aka the Stoogeum way down 309 in Ambler. Course this joint was on the way back, I used to golf at Melody Lakes and read about this place in the newspaper so we had to check it out. The ambiance is very homey, heck the owner was chatting up some regulars when we were there. First I gotta say for how yummy this food is, it's definitely not worthy of eating every day if you are trying to maintain or lose weight. But as far as comfort food goes Kathy's Country Kitchen is the Kats Meow ! We had lunch there. Jess tried a cup of the Chicken Corn Chowder. Quite a thick & Hearty soup, also very delicious. I tried a spoonful. You could probably get a bowl of this and be satisfied. I think we both thought it was very cool that they had Mac & Cheese Meals as opposed to just being a side. Jess got Cowboy Mac & Cheese that was topped with pulled pork and a panko fried onion..that was a huge disappointment..Too much breading not enough onion, I ate it for her plus it wasn't very hot. But she said her Mac & Cheese was the bomb ! The best comfort food ever. I tried the 3 cheese Home-style Mac & Cheese with bread crumbs on top. I liked it, didn't care for bread crumbs and couldn't really taste what cheese was used but it was hearty if we decide to eat here again I may try it with fresh lump crab meat. I also had the Big Boy Sammich, which was Hot Roast beef and Provolone with Horseradish Dijon on a Kaiser roll. The beef was tender, thin sliced and super juicy, This was a messy lunch, they should offer more napkins. I opted out of the chips cos I got the Mac & Cheese. When I bit into the sammich it was yummy but it was missing the Dijon Horseradish. Ding Ding ! Another disappointment I spoke up and the waitress didn't realize it was on the side and I got it immediately and it was fabulous but the main draw of getting that sandwich was the the sauce and to not get it initially kind of made me not want to be quick to return. Again the best in comfort food but with some minor flaws. If saturday is reserved as your Fatterday than Give em a shot.

tried it for breakfast. They need to invest in ventilation!! Thought it was expensive. Lots of locals chatting it up. Service was good.

The food here was a pleasant surprise. I had the raisin bread French toast and my daughter had pancakes. My only complaint is that instead of having of having little individual packs of 3-4 crayons and a placemat they passed around a big box of crayons and coloring books used by all the other kids who have been in there. My daughter thought she hit the lottery, but 3 days later she woke with an awful cold. Now of course it could have been from somewhere else, but you can't be too careful during cold and flu season.

Tried this place the other night with some friends and the food was great! The mac and cheese was delish and the rest of the food was great as well. It's a small cozy place with great service and a large menu. try it today!
