We moved to Quakertown in January, and Giovanni's is close to our house. A friend recommended and we were really surprised by how great this place was. This is the best pizza you'll find. Never had a bad experience and the staff is extremely friendly! LOVE this place!

First time here with the family because our son wanted pizza. It's a local mom and pop pizzeria. They were busy, very busy on a Saturday night. the place was half filled with customers but people were coming in for take outs every other minute. I'll excuse them for their slow service as they were busy. Food was good. We ordered cheese ravioli, plain service, old fashioned Sicilian slice, chicken fingers, grilled chicken Caesar wrap. My the pizza was good but too oily.

Currently, I write this as I am dumping out the worst pizza ever. To many tomatoes (I mean a gross amount to make the pizza soggy), to much garlic (I'm sweating it out as I type), and not cooked enough. Also, hands down the worst onion rings I ever had or seen in my life. I honestly only ate it because I was hungry and to lazy to drive the 17 minute round trip. Do yourself a favorite pick up a Digiorno or Ellios. 30 times better than their crap.

Horrible service it says just sit down but no one pays attention and then they forget your there 50 mins waiting for a plain pizza seriously? And the they rush and food half cooked ridiculous. Don't recommend can't be that hard to run a pizza restaurant with plenty of workers standing around.

Great food. Shitty service. I've seen cows chew their curd more politely than my crispy critter of a waitress.

Ate there for the first time tonight & was pleasantly surprised! Everything was fantastic! I loved the bruschetta. The horseradish cheesesteak was wonderful. I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I tried this place out over this past weekend for the first time. We got there on the early side, around 5:30...and I'm glad we did! The place gets packed quick and by 6:15 there is a line out the door. I don't remember our server's name, but she was an absolute sweetheart. We started with the Fried Calamari, big mistake. The crust/coating was way too thick, and overdone. The calamari had that tough, chewy feel...very disappointed. Next up was the cheese pie. The pizza dough they use is excellent, crisp and chewy. Their sauce is not overly seasoned, and in terms of balance leans toward the sweet side. fantastic mix of cheese, cooked to perfection. Great prices, BYO, we will be back. Saw a couple sandwiches and salads come out and they looked terrific. Not sure this is the BEST pizza in the area, but certainly in my top three!

Simply the best pizza in Quakertown. When we want pizza it is always from Giovanni's. When you take out a large pizza they stamp the box and you collect 15 stamps and you get a free pizza. We have gotten many free pizzas over the years so that shows you how many pizzas we have bought there.

have eaten here several times over the past year. this place is as good as it gets. not fancy, not pretentious, looks to be your average strip mall pizza joint. however, the food is outstanding, the specialty items on the menu are creative and tasty, and the prices are very good. definitely two thumbs up!

Nice place pizza joint to have dinner. They have daily specials and you can't beat Tuesdays! Salad, garlic knots, Ravioli, and a glass of complimentary wine for under $7! I have never had bad food at this establishment. Booths and tables are available.

Was referred to Giovanni's by a local businessman while traveling. I was hungry for a Philly Cheesesteak but no time to travel to center city for the famous named places. I was intrigued by the horseradish cheesesteak and decided to give it a try. WOW! It was great! Soft, fresh roll, juicy beef, onions, provolone, and the horseradish flavor was very strong.....(just how I like it) but not too overpowering. Added a side of onion rings, and it made a heavenly lunch. Thank you!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
