I work in the area. Ruby's has become one of the very few places I will go for lunch break. The food is actually fresh, flavorful, and well made. Prices are very reasonable in my opinion - and even if it's a couple dollars more than another place, the quality is more than worth it. Everything I've tried has been great, including fish and chips and the Reuben sandwich. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I decided to get lunch here on a whim, and we are glad we did! We knew they had a high rating on yelp, and once we walked in, we knew why. It's clean, beautiful, and smells amazing! He got the burger, and I got a fresh tomato and mozzarella panini with fresh basil and olive oil smeared on the outside. Both were cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor. We substituted the chips that come with the meal for fries. When the waitress brought our food to the table, there chips in my basket instead of fries. My husband pointed out the mistake, and the waitress immediately had the chef drop a new batch of fries, and brought me a GIANT basket full of fries! Despite their having very little to know salt, they were slamming! Highly recommended!

Fresh ingredients. Friendly service. A little hard to find, but worth the find. Homemade soups are great.

Don't walk, run to this place. But run fast as it is only opened for LUNCH. Soups, burgers, sandwiches, salads, all are fresh. French fries and potato chips which enhance every sandwich are home made. The staff is wonderful and their spirit rubs off on the customers, don't be surprised to have conversations with folks you never met nor will ever see again. It is teeny tiny, so you might have to wait, but trust me - it is well worth the wait.

Parking is a little hairy, but it's worth it. Fresh food, boars head meats. Serious french fries. No item over ten dollars. Seating is limited to four tables inside, two outside, and a counter. Busy but quick turn around. I've been here twice for lunch, plan to kee coming here when I'm in town.

An Ode to Ruby's Reuben: Crispy crusty marble rye toasted just right. Creamy coleslaw with proper subtle sweetness. Juicy, flaky, tender turkey. Chips yield a fresh crunch. Plump pickle slice. Nom. Nom. Nom. The end. Stopped here on the way to a Yeungling tour, on the way to the Catskills from Philly. Worth the trip, says our group.

INCREDIBLE, you have to eat here is if you're in the area. Sat through the 90 minute Yuengling tour and were in serious need of nourishment after. This is the place to eat in Pottsville. Recommended to us by a local and spot on for our vegetarian/health-conscious selves. We went for a soup, salad and the daily grilled cheese - everything was perfect. Beautifully paired sandwich ingredients, creative and filling salads. Lovely little space, nice music and seriously endearing folks here.

From mass driving through and very glad we found this place! Food was delicious and prices were more than fair. The sauce we got with the onion rings was by far the best thing we have eaten on our whole trip. We also asked opinions on where our next stop should be, they went way above and beyond and one of them called their husband who have us a whole list of things to do!

Awesome place in Pottsville for lunch. Food is very fresh and delicious. I had the open face grilled cheese (very good) it came with homemade potato chips. My husband had the tuna on ciabatta bread and the homemade bean soup. We enjoyed everything. Very friendly staff. This would be a good place to stop in for lunch if you are going to the Yuengling tour.

Hands down, the best HOMEMADE food in town! I'm never disappointed. It's small, cozy atmosphere & warm, friendly staff make it all the more magical. A big thanks to the owner & her family for serving up delicious food and superior service! Oh & I have to say the Mac & cheese is to die for!!

Was in town to do the brewery tour. We actually parked the truck across the street from the brewery and walked 5 blocks here. What a walk. Good exercise. We had the open faced grilled cheese and the tuna ciabatta melt. Both were really good, but if we went again we would order the tuna melt and split it. The two sandwiches was really to much. We did like the tuna melt over the grilled cheese, but don't get me wrong, the grilled cheese was good. Service was lacking as we had iced tea and was never asked for a refill. We would go back again.

Very good food for a reasonable price, with new daily specials and occasional gourmet weekend dinners. Ruby's is hidden away so that it's practically invisible, but somehow word has gotten out about how good this place is. While that's good for the owners, it can be bad if you want to eat there at lunch time. There is only a tiny parking lot and the small amount of tables (about five) on the inside means you usually can't eat in. Still, this is excellent food, especially in a place with a dearth of good eating options.

Very nice lunch. Excellent sandwiches, friendly service. A great surprise and convenient for Yuengling visitors and locals.

Ruby's Kitchen was recommended during a visit to Pottsville to visit the Yuengling Brewery. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything was fresh, prepared to order, and very good. This small little restaurant is immaculate! There are umbrella tables outside for warm weather dining There are a few parking spaces. Most of the folks coming in appeared to be professionals from the nearby business district. I would highly recommend Ruby's. Our table had potato soup, a hamburger, a wrap, a BLT, and a turkey club sandwich all of which were very good. They offer a variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps and pot pie was on the menu too. The staff was very friendly.

Great place to checkout. Off on a side street in a nice neighborhood. A good place to sit down and relax. The food is ALWAYS good and Carol makes some awesome baked treats! You may need a gps to get there, but even Dorothy needed a little help getting to Oz.

Very broad menu for lunch, and very helpful staff. My smoked brisket was a bit tougher than when I successfully smoke a brisket. Homemade potato chips were great. I'll return the next time I'm nearby and try something else.

Ordered the Super Reuben. It was super cold. Ordered onion rings, but they never came. All in all, meh.
