An excellent deli. Fresh meats and breads. Huge sandwiches, the "small" will feed two. Limited condiments compared to some deli's, but they have what you need. Understand that Farlow's only has carry-out, it s NOT a proper restaurant. There is no seating, be prepared to take your sandwich elsewhere to eat. In good weather, there are plenty of places to sit and eat nearby.

I love a good hoagie, so I followed yelps suggestion and sampled Farlows while in town for work. The half Italian with banana peppers did not disappoint. Great meat selection, yummy bread and easily enough for 2 meals. I added a bag of middlesworth total was $9. Owners were on site. Nice people. I would def go again. It was a hell of a hoagie.

Farlow's is only three doors away from the New Life Shoppe and we are so grateful for them, their Subs are Awesome. They are so big we slip one small sub three ways!

Tip: Call ahead in case they're closed randomly. It's happened to my lunch mates a few times already, but nbd. Hoagies are super filling and the deli meats are clearly high quality.

If you are heading through Pottsville, and want a ginormous sub, STOP HERE. No place to sit, but plenty of church steps across the street, or hang out in your car! Amoroso rolls trim this sun that is easy to share. 1/2 will feed 2 at lunch, EASILY. Great quality meat/cheese. I had a chicken salad last night, which they only make on occasion. Check their FB page for special items or to order ahead. 1/2 subs are only $7.50!

Awesome! This is our favorite sub shop by far. Huge subs! My only complaint is that there are no hot sandwiches, but I can get over that. Very sweet people and awesome customer service.

Could not believe the size of the "small" sandwich!!! Loaded with meat and cheese and the bread is outta this world. We were in town at the Yuengling Brewery and this place is a short walk down the hill. There are no tables and chairs to sit and eat but there was a nice church across the street and we sat and ate on the steps. Really cheap prices and one of the best hoagies I have ever had. Service was really friendly!

What a great find, this was perfect right before the Yuengling tour. The half sandwich was enormous. I actually thought the order was a mistake. The sandwiches really are that big. Many people would be satisfied alone on size, but it's actually quality on top of quantity. This place is a gem.

Best sandwich outside of Philadelphia, still residing in Pennsylvania. Great size, tons of meat, great prices! People are personable and real helpful. Be great if we could have sat inside, but still good food outweighed that suggestion! Don't miss out!

Visited this place for the first time when my foodie brother-in-law was in town recently. Discovered the address listed here is wrong, it's 207 South Centre St, not North, so beware. The owner and his wife are divorcing, to the son running the shop is taking over. The name is changing too--to Matt Farlow's Hoagie City, with phone number: (570) 294-7720, same physical location, though. The hoagies were wonderful, the bread was fabulous, the meat tasty and plentiful, and the veggies fresh. Two adults and two kids, all famished, split one hoagie, and there were still leftovers! Matt had been accommodating and created two different kinds of hoagie on the one roll, and cut the hoagie into many manageable slices and provided the mayo and dressing on the side so that we could each have it our way. Fabulous service and fabulous hoagies!

Great Italian hoagies!! First experience. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. My sandwich had a great compliment of fresh meats, cheeses, and veggies evenly distributed throughout. Will be back again....

Best hoagies in the Skook, hands down! Hell, best I've had period. If I get a hoagie, it's from Farlows. If I get one from somewhere else it's because A: I'm not paying or B: I'm out of the area. Farlows has never disappointed me with the quality of their hoagies or the service I receive. And don't be fooled by the "whole" and "half" selection. A half a hoagie is far thicker, just as long, and far superior to any piece of shit hoagie you'll find at other spots. Make sure you stop in if you're in the area.

We went to this deli because of great reviews and were not disappointed. The sign of the place is difficult to see or read, so we drove past it at least 4 times! Thanks to the previous reviewer who mentioned the address and the phone number were wrong on Yelp, we finally got there. The owner was super friendly and welcoming. The hoagies are like large heros (I had no clue!). The amount of meat they add is fantastic! Great Italian hoagie also.

Best sandwich shop, period. Only downfalls are since it moved, it's only a cold menu, no cards, and the owner is a little like the soup nazi. Cool guy though and a great food! Half spicy turkey with oil and lettuce is my favorite.

Awesome subs! Great customer service and a must try place if coming into the Pottsville area for any amount of time. They put a killer amount of meat on their subs and have excellent bread. Dont miss the opportunity when in town.

Iam soooooooo in love with this deli. Awesome hoagies. We just had italians and the tuna. Mouth watering rolls. No fillers!! The meat is quality, no fat or the dreaded "mystery" meats. You will go back for more and never leave hungry. FYI....the large are monsters!!!! LOVE FARLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been a loyal fan of Farlow's since it was located in Ashland. After a recent visit back to PA, I had to get a hoagie from Farlow's. They lose one star because of the new location in Pottsville, parking sucks...and they raised prices and cut back on the amount of meat since the move.
